Im back, been a hot second but I finally got this done.

Bit of a shorter chapter but I'm back and working harder on this story.

"So what will we do, so I can start my journey?" Kael asked the Professor as they walked back to the lab.

"Well, multiple things. First, we need to give you a Trainer ID, so you are a legal citizen of Sinnoh. Next, I need to make you an Assistant Professor's card, so you can reap the benefits of your 'discoveries'. Finally, I need to upgrade that Pokedex you found and give you some traveling items to get you going!" he said, patting Kael on the shoulder.

" Assistant Professor's card, what all does that entail?" Kael asked, confused on the subject

" Well, basically you would be my Assistant. You would research things for me as you traveled the region. As well, you would get a monthly stipend of 10,000 pokedollars and would be able to carry up to 12 Pokemon at once. But mainly, I would have you research knowledge from your world and see if it translates to our world. How does that sound?"

The Professor asked, curious about Kael's response.

After a good minute of thinking Kael responded with "That sounds great, I was actually thinking about the many things that I knew about the Sinnoh region such as the legendaries and the Ancient Hiusian times. I wonder if I could find any ruins?"

" Legendaries and Ancient Hisuian times! You must tell me more. We as a community know very little about the times before the League as well as what Legendaries protect us." The Professor exclaimed excitedly, thinking up all the possibilities.

"Sure, let's talk more back at the lab" Kael stated before going into a peaceful silence for the rest of the walk.

Starly the Starling Pokemon

Starly's are known to flock in great numbers due to being individually weak. However, even though they are small, their wings hold great power.

This Starly is male with the ability Keen eye and a Naughty nature, upping Attack and lowering Sp. Def

This Starly knows the moves: Growl, Tackle, Quick Attack, Wing Attack, and Agility

"Wow, you sure are strong. You also have Agility, No wonder you were so fast in the pokecenter." Kael stated while petting Hermes' head.

" Kael my boy, I have all your things ready for you here." The professor yelled at him from the other room. Getting up and turning around, Kael heard a whoosh sound before feeling Hermes landing on his right shoulder. Walking down the hall and turning left, Kael saw his backpack on a table with multiple items around it. On the left of it were 10 Pokeballs lying around, below it were multiple potions, purple in color. To the pack's right were camping supplies, from pots and pans to a wrapped-up hammock; everything needed for a journey was there.

Walking up to the professor, Kael saw the man behind a table with 4 items on it. The first was his trainer's license, the next was what he assumed to be his Professor's license, to the right of that was a red watch-like object, and finally, there was a Pokeball. With a scrunch of his face, Kael asked, "Professor, where is my Pokedex?"

"Son, I pulled a few hoops but I changed your Pokedex into a poketch. It has all the same functions as a pokedex but compact and with a few more hidden features I added." The professor said while motioning Kael to put on the watch. Confused, Kael grabs the red watch and puts it on his left wrist. Clicking the main button, Kael jumps when a hologram springs up showing his trainer ID and the Pokemon he has registered to him.

"Wow, professor, this is amazing! I've never seen anything like this before." Kael said, staring at the device with amazement.

"Well, when competing with your old world, I had to pull out all the stops." The professor said jovially

"Now, professor, what is that Pokeball doing there?" Kael asked

" This boy is my final parting gift to you. This Pokemon was made in Kanto, but we in Sinnoh have upgraded it. I'm giving you the base form but I will also give you the means to evolve it" He said while picking the ball up " Come on out Porygon!" he yelled before tossing the ball up into the air.

*Ding*

With a poof, a polygon-shaped figure burst out the ball before floating above the ground and looking around before seeing Kael and his watch. In a split second, a new screen popped up on his watch with a mini Porygon on the top corner. Text began to appear on the screen saying "Hello human, My name is Porygon I'm assuming you are my new Trainer?"

Looking around for a second Kael responded with " Umm yes Porygon I'm your new trainer. It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise, now I have some conditions for our partnership to run smoothly, would you like to hear these conditions?" Porygon wrote

"Uh, Sure, what are your conditions?" Kael asked, unsure of himself.

" Now there are a couple of things I want. First, you will not evolve me until I believe I'm ready, I'm fully aware you will be in possession of the items that will spark my evolution but I would prefer my evolution be on my terms. Next, I will only battle If I feel like it. Understand that you are still the Trainer in the relationship and I will still battle but If I'm feeling tired or uninterested I hold the right to veto a battle. Finally, I will not go into the Pokeball at all times, instead, I will be on your watch protecting it from any form of malware. For your benefit, I will also work as a personal 'AI' for you so just asking your watch about something will bring up the result. Any questions?" The Porygon wrote before turning and staring at Kael.

Thinking it over for a few minutes Kael responded by saying " All of your conditions are very reasonable so I have no problem following them. Welcome to the team. Would you like to have a name to differentiate you from other Porygon?"

Getting into a thinking pose which was very cute by Kael's standards Porygon thought for a hot second before writing " A name would be beneficial, do you have one in mind?"

Immediately Kael responds with " How about the Name Python? In my old world, the most popular programming language was named Python."

"Acceptable, from now on I'll be on your watch if you need me for anything. Adieu." Porygon wrote before dissolving into digital code and maneuvering its way into Kael's watch.

"Well my boy, that seems to have worked out greatly," the professor said while widely smiling, his smile lines causing him to look older than he was.

Walking out from behind the table the professor grabs ahold of Kael's shoulder saying " Kael I hope you work hard on your journey and make discoveries that will shock the world for generations to come." Smiling Kael shook the Professor's hand before packing up all his new items and heading out towards his first gym, getting ready to take the world by storm.
