(Black) Mandy Forester – The Black Fox
The rich quarter of Atlas was always clean, tidy and luxurious where the most elite and richest people lived. Atlas was the wealthiest from the four Kingdoms thanks for mines riches in Dust. The most successful Dust company was the Schee Dust Company which produces the two third of Remnant's Dust consumption.
At this night the Schee Dust Company organized a charity celebration where they're collecting donations for the poor and homeless people. The chief executive officer and the owner of the Company was Jacque Schnee who had money for great luxuries with great result.
At the Schee mansion gathered a lot of wealthy citizen to participate on the celebration. The event itself included living music, the richest art treasures as decoration, exclusive serving, 5 stars foods and drinks for the rich and elite guests. The main event was the CEO's daughter, Weiss Schee's singing.
Everybody heard that the girl looks like a snow angel but her voice was soft like a sweet summer rain.
Unfortunately, every coin has two sides. This "charity" celebration was created by greediness since Jacque just wants to approve his own popularity and most of the donation was appropriated by itself and his business partners and the little that remains maybe… just maybe got by those who really needs it.
Most of the workers were faunus who were secondary citizens in Atlas and seriously cheaper labors than humans. Jacques' daughter Weiss maybe really performs by kindness and unlike her hearth was really pure as the fresh snow she knew nothing about his father's shady and evil business and deeds, she always cared a lot for the people.
On this celebration there'll be an uninvited guest who'll try to earn something, not greedy business men or women, it's the White Fang terrorist group.
The organization was once peaceful which stood up for the rights of the faunus, a quick leader change helped it to the way of violence and force humans to respect them.
Thanks for their successes more and more faunus joined to them and more and more time they're able to do harm for big companies, the Schee Dust Company is the first on their list.
The streets at night were lighted, the people were going home. In the alleys, where the street lights weren't able to reach a lot of faunus in black clothes and white vests gathered, each of the wore Grimm masks. They were the soldiers of the White Fang.
A lot of armed faunus men and women who were fighting for their people gathered but in a discrete way.
- Everybody's here? – Quietly but firmly the lieutenant man asked, a big man with a giant chainsaw. – Good. Mandy, it's up to you.
- What's my job? – A girl in a purposefully way stepped out among her comrades. She wore the same uniform as the others, black boots, black trousers, black long-sleeved T-shirt, black hood, white vest with the crest of the White Fang, a red, snarling tiger with three scratch marks and a Grimm mask.
On her sides two daggers hanged, on her back there was a quiver full of arrows and a longbow.
- We have order from Sienna herself. The Schnee family has a celebration tonight where Jacque will meet a genius Dust researcher from Vale who has a new machine that make Dusts stronger and durable as ever. An enhanced electricity Dust with that machine could secure the whole energy consumption of Atlas for a week and who know what else. Obviously, it could help our cause. Your job to sneak into the mansion during the celebration, get the machine, kill the researcher and come back alive.
- And if I meet with Jacque Schnee? – Mandy gripped her hands into fists by anger.
- I know you want to kill him, - The lieutenant just put his hand on the girl's shoulder and watched around his soldiers. – there's nobody here who don't want that greedy *sshole's dead but Sienna forbid it to hurt him. We need him in the future, just like now. – Mandy just listened and watched the ground. – What he did with your parents… it was unforgivable but now…
- Just promise me, - Mandy watched the big man through her mask. – if the times come to gut that bastard you won't hold me back! – The lieutenant just stayed quiet for a while but he spoke up.
- I promise, if the time is right, I won't hold back.
- Good.
- Right now, - The lieutenant got to the point. – they will never let you in with weapons and most of the faunus are watched in a suspicious way.
- Then how do I get in? – The lieutenant picked his Scroll, turned in and opened the Schee mansion's map.
- From the backdoor, it's the staff entrance. As I said the faunus guests are suspicious to them but the staff quite the opposite. You pretend yourself as a server and you can move easily without anybody suspect anything.
- But I may need my weapons in there.
- Don't worry for that, we get them in. Now change your clothes.
The lieutenant gave a bag to Mandy, a waitress dress was in it. Behind the trash containers she changed her outfit. Now she wore a pair of black flat shoes, black stockings, black skirt, white blouse and black vest. Her short black was held back, her pair of fox ears are easily disappeared in her hair but between her skirt and blouse her long and black fox tail hanged out, they're the proves of her faunus being. She had green eyes and pale skin.
Mandy has started to go out the alley, dressed as a simple waitress towards the Schee mansion. After a few corners she found it, it was impossible to mistake it the biggest and most beautiful building in the city, it was like a crown jewel that stands out among the others. Of course, the big crowd was an obvious sign which building was it.
She approached the main gate, a giant lattice gate with 4 robots and 2 human soldiers guarded and who knows how many more are inside the mansion. She's not going to pass through here.
- Hey, what are you doing here?! – An angry man voice disturbed her thoughts. She turned around and saw an armed soldier. – The staff entrance is at back!
Mandy didn't answer just nodded and left the soldier. She found the entrance, a little metal door inside the stone wall where was another woman guard. The faunus girl approached her but the woman soldier stood in her way.
- What are you doing here? – She aske in a suspicious way.
- Well… I came to work. – Mandy thought her uniform means automatic permission to the mansion but this soldier was smarter.
- You're late! The night shift has already started!
- Well… my bus late and stuck in the jam.
- Hm, in Atlas has the best public transport. – She didn't believe it. – Show your ID card.
- I… - Mandy just recognized she didn't get any paper or license for working here. – left at home. – The guard wasn't satisfied.
- Than I suggest you… - Suddenly a loud and excited voice disturbed the woman.
- You're here! – Another faunus girl was in a same uniform as Mandy but her hair was longer, she had squirrel ears and fluffy reddish-brown tail. – It wasn't very nice to left me behind! – She hurried and panted as she reached Mandy.
- I… left you?
- Of course, we're in late and we had to hurry but you ran so fast that I couldn't catch you up! I tried to yell but you didn't hear.
- Oh… yes! I'm sorry. I thought you were behind me.
- We're here and that's all that matter!
- So, - The guard spoke. – you're both late.
- We're really sorry but the more time you stall us the guests and your boss will be angrier. – Behind her helmet the faunus girl couldn't read the guard's face but she obviously rolled her eyes and let them in.
- Just don't mess anything up.
- Thank you! – The squirrel girl just dragged Mandy by her arm and they were in.
Inside the mansion was much easier their job, there wasn't as much guard, only the kitchen staff, they had to avoid them and passed through the kitchen so they can line to the rest of the waitress. The squirrel girl gave her a piece of paper and they separated from each other. She went into the underground parking house.
She knew where to go exactly, she kept going down there on the stairs when she made it to the parking house there was a big truck contained the food and drink delivery.
- What are you doing here? – A guard stopped her. – The party is up there.
- I… was… - Mandy in that moment just figured out a lie. – sent here to get something that didn't arrive yet.
- Yeah, that truck was late for two hours. – The guard shrugged his shoulders and stared the driver who just got out. – Did you miss? – The faunus man just gave a list to the guard.
- No, we got a defect, thanks for a stupid accident. – He explained but Mandy knew exactly what happened. – Okay boys, you can bring the stuffs! – A lot of goods were packed by three other faunus man but the driver just recognized Mandy. – What are you doing here?
- Up there… - Mandy figured out another lie. – they're very impatient and waiting for the Marjoilane chocolate that Mr. Schnee ordered for her daughter! – She said loudly so the guards wouldn't get any suspicious. – Ms. Schnee won't sing until she got her favorite sweetness! – The driver just rolled his eyes but grabbed a box and approached Mandy.
- Here the… Mar…thing chocolate. – Mandy just lead the man into a janitor room.
- Did you bring it? – Mandy finally could speak freely.
- Of course. – The man too. – How about my payment?
- Here. – She gave the man a roll of Lien.
- Thank you and I wish the best.
The moment the man left the room she opened the box, there wasn't chocolate in it. It was her White Fang uniform and her weapons and a lot of stuffs that could help her.
Mandy trashed out her waitress uniform and after she folded the cardboard box put it behind the trash. She found a vent big enough to fit in and climbed in. She could reach any point in the mansion without any attention.
As she kept climbing she could hear she was above the ballroom since Weiss just sang to the audience. Her voice was really beautiful and despite the fact she was the daughter of the most hated person by Mandy, even she had to admit she liked her sing.
During the sing she reached Jacques's office. Quietly, without any noise climbed out from the vent and put back the vent grid and went ahead to the office. Unfortunately, there was two guards in front of the door and she couldn't do anything to remove them. She just smirked one.
Poof
It was flash and she just disappeared and reappeared inside the office. It was her semblance, Flashing, she can teleport anywhere in 10m.
Inside Jacque's office she walked to his table, there was a bucket of ice with a stiffed drink on the top of it. There was two empty glass near it, one was Jacque's the other is for the researcher. The lieutenant told the researcher is fond for the alcohol.
She grabbed a little phial from her pocket full of poisonous ointment and smeared the edge of a glass. She wanted to smear Jacque's glass too but her orders forbid it. She put the phial back to her pocket and hid inside a wardrobe.
She waited for long hours and almost bored herself to death when finally, the office door opened and she could hear their voices. It was Jacque and the researcher.
She opened the wardrobe door a little to peek the two men. Jacque himself was an average sized man, he gelled his short and white hair in an elegant way, and his white mustache was white too. She wore an elegant white suit that was the dominant color in Atlas.
The researcher wasn't elegant at all, his black suit was sloppy and his long and black hair was messy and his beard was a mess too. He had a briefcase and opened it. It contained a machined that Mandy had never seen before. It must be the machine she was sent for.
The men greeted each other politely then Jacque poured some drink for his guest and himself. After they toasted Jacque just sipped a little from his drink while the researcher just drank it all at once and asked another round. Jacque poured three more times while they're speaking, he showed a briefcase full of Lien but the researcher felt himself sick and asked to go to the bathroom. Jacque, while he's worrying for his health followed him but the guards remained at the door.
Both briefcases were left in the office and it was Mandy's chance. She came out from the wardrobe to pick up both briefcases, opened the window and jumped out from the fourth floor. She fell quickly to the ground but she didn't afraid. Used her semblance again teleported to the ground without any harm.
Sneaking as a shadow with two briefcase she managed to get out from the Schnee residence and made out without getting into trouble or any fight.
