In a futuristic world torn apart by war, the government spent years working on the next generation of soldiers: Hybrids. Katara Aqua, one of these hybrids, has spent her whole life in the Institution and decides that it's time for her to leave the only place she has ever known. As she gains her long awaited freedom, she runs into a young hybrid who will help her start a revolution.

The GAang is back together months after the war has ended. They are taking a vacation to visit the (not so) Secret Tunnel and properly enjoy the crystals and encounter some badgermoles. There's no way they can get lost with two earthbenders - right? Chaos and shenanigans disrupt what was supposed to be a relaxing trip - and Katara discovers that she can be just as awkward as Zuko.

On Ember Island were numerous houses. Some were labeled as beach houses; others were called vacation houses. There was only one house, though, that held the unique title of haunted house. Rather than waiting for people to show up looking for signs of it being haunted, Sokka devises a plan that will entice people to arrive and experience the full force of spookiness of the GAang.

"I don't get it," Katara purses her lips, befuddlement clear in the furrow of her brows as she turns to him. "You'd think the Fire Nation would know such an important detail about their own prince." The Gaang wonders why the Fire Nation doesn't know more about Zuko, much less where his scar is? It leads to questions they want answered. Zuko, on the other hand, just wants to sleep.

The world is divided into four nations - the Fire Tribe, the Air Kingdom, the Water Nation and and the Earth Nomads - each represented by a natural element for which the nation is named.
