Bilbo doesn't regret it, coming along on the journey. Because it was true, what he told the others: even if it cost him his life, he would help them regain their home back from Smaug. After all… there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his king.

It is the waiting that is the hardest part.

When taking care of a sick Brynn, Thorin thinks back to when Brynn was much younger. One shot! Brynn is Fili and Kilis little sister, a main character in my full story set on the quest. :)
