Not that anyone outside of the Shire knew of the gifted ones, which made it all the more confusing at to why Gandalf would want a blind hobbit for a burglar.

During the Battle of the Five Armies Throrin realizes his love for Bilbo while Bilbo watches him fight for life after the battle. Now both with help from the other members of the company try to subtly inform the other about their intentions to court them. However all is not that simple as Bilbo must return to the Shire while Thorin faces the prospect of an attack on Erebor.

Set in the year TA 2894, 47 years before the Quest. In Ered Luin, a terrible fever begins to strike mercilessly on dwarves. The fever hits close to home for Thorin Oakenshield when a young Kíli is afflicted.
