Once upon a time there was a player me who turned off the collision while in Vampire Lord mode so that the player character could not just hover but soar up into the sky - and this player me thought that it was pretty darn awesome, and wrote a short story about a Vampire Lord - or rather, two Vampires Lords - who can actually fly.
