Bella (fem!Bilbo) is enchanted by Thorin's hair, Thorin is long-suffering, Fíli and Kíli worry and Óin is exasperated. What are they doing, you ask? Why, taking care of injuries, of course. Prequel to my other story "This is not Farewell", but can stand alone.

Even after spending an evening in Rivendell, Thorin still lacks a trust in elves. So what happens when he and his company finds a woman, who he suspects to be an elf, slaughtering orcs on their way to the Misty Mountains? Well she evidently joins them on their journey to the Lonely Mountain, whether or not he had a choice in the matter. But is it a choice he will regret later on?

It is a perfectly normal day in the life of Bilbo Baggins, hiding out in the Elvenking's palace while the dwarves are imprisoned... right until an interrogation turns into a lovers' spat and Bilbo learns more about blanket-stealing habits than he ever wanted to know. He should have eaten his apple while he still could. Thranduil/Thorin.

Meghan loves the Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit. One walk in the woods would have her end up in the fantasy world where the story takes place. But she came at the wrong time, because Smaug is awakening, and the only way she can find her way home again is to embark on a journey with thirteen dwarves, a wizard, and a hobbit.

Taking an innocent walk can do so many things, including winding up in Hobbiton with no idea where to go. When Dixie faces this very event, can she take up the courage of helping a group of dwarves, befriending a hobbit, and having one troll her the entire time?
