My life has never been easy. Nothing i do ever gets my parents attention. I'm wallpaper. So on a night in mid-October. I pack and bag and leave this house. I can't even call home because it doesn't feel like it. I have no idea where I'm going I just walk. Until I noticed I was at the park. The favorite place where I could be free from anything. I pick a bench and fell asleep.

I don't know how long I've been sleeping. When I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look to see a beautiful woman She had brown silk hair with sky blue eyes that shine. She had the kind smile I felt like I could trust her.

"What a little girl doing here this late at night and alone" She seemed sweet and had this feeling like you could trust her with anything.

"I'm 12 and I ran away from home My parents don't notice me so it wouldn't matter." She had a sad gleam in her eyes like she knew the pain.

"Of course they miss you. You seem like a sweet girl" I like her already.

"I do things to get their attention, but nothing works, they're too busy in their work to notice me. Top in sports Top in class and nothing gets their attention I feel like don't belong anywhere."

"Sweetie of course you belong somewhere you just haven't found it. How about if you don't want to go home you don't have to you can with me my house just down the block you stay there until you're ready to go home, does that sound good?" I know I shouldn't have said yes but I could trust her.

"Sure, sorry I didn't ask before what is your name?" I didn't know the name of the lady with brown eyes and nice blue eyes.

"Sally Jackson and you sweetie?"

"Annabeth chase." Sally was telling me about how she had a son and loving husband. That she was in night school to get a degree in writing stories because in stories you teach lessons make people see the world differently and make people happy. All her words were inspiring people to do things. My boy is the same age as you Annabeth. She told me when we reached her house. It was beautiful and the backyard was huge. The house was a nice baby blue color. It was a two story high house. As we entire I saw a picture of a boy swinging on a swing, he had a big smile and he was missing two teeth one on the top and one on the bottom. The boy had sea-green eyes and mixed black hair.

"Annabeth I have to go upstairs to want to stay here or come with me." I didn't want to stay down here by myself so I went up with her. As I went up the stairs i was a picture of her family, but this time the boy was older he was in the middle of two person Sally and a bigger version of the kid. Sally went to a room. I pecked it was a room that covered different decorations of the ocean. There was a bed in the corner of the room. The bed was a ship design. On the bed was the boy and man in the family photo. Both were asleep. Sally went and shook the older man to wake up. The men and Sally were talking. The men look in his 30. He looks like the boy in the picture. Sally walks out with the man.

"Annabeth this is my husband" the men look at me and smile.

"So your Annabeth is nice to meet you I'm Poseidon." His name was funny like the Greek god of the sea.

"Poseidon, like the Greek god of the sea?" He smile wide.

"Just like him." I just smiled because it was funny. Poseidon had this feeling like he was a go with the flow type of person.

"Annabeth sweetie we have a guest room Do you want to sleep there?" I nod my head. She saw me in the guest room. It was a sky blue color.

"Your family most really like blue."

"It is my husband and son's favorite color, they did most of the painting. Sleep here I wake you up when it's morning." After saying thank you to Sally she left. All I could do was think my brother Malcolm and how worried he would be when he saw me not home. He was out on a school field trip and coming home will he do when I am not there. I was debating if I could leave Sally I note explaining why I left. I grab a pen and paper writing about why I left and I hope to see her again on the desk in the corner. I had a fruit bar in my bag. I unzip the bag quickly if anyone is sleeping I wouldn't wake them up.

I must have been really sleepy because I knocked my backpack on the ground. My backpack was a silver one with owls designs it was my mother when she was a girl she gave it to me on my 5th birthday before I started school I was the only thing my mother gave me. I had a phone the parents thought It would make us forget that they are there. They where rich because of my mom. She was the one who helped my father to become someone. I grabbed my phone I didn't use it often I only had two names in my contacts my brother Malcolm and Thalia Grace my best friend. I laid there on the bed. I didn't have my parents'phone number because I didn't need it Malcolm or Thalia would have what I needed. My eyes were getting heavy. I guess I lost to fight to stay awake because the next thing I knew I was asleep

I woke up It was early but not that early. I checked my phone and it said 8:12. I over sleep. I jumped out of bed and put my stuff in my bag. I was still in PJ's I had spear clothes in my bag I changed into some black leggings, a purple T-shirt, and a gray sweat shirt. I combed my hair and put it into a pony tail. It wasn't neat and nice. It was messy it was me.

I went down the stairs and there was Sally cooking food. Poseidon was drinking coffee while reading a newspaper. Sally turned and saw me first.

"Good morning Annbeth how are you today."

"Good morning I'm good." Then I noticed the boy. I looked down to see what he was eating his pancakes were strangely blue. He looked up at me. No question can out his mouth only.

"Hi I'm Percy what's your name?"
