Many stories have been told of Hyrule, and many legends have come to pass. One story that is little known, is one involving the four who are one... At one point in time, a boy named Link had drawn the Four Sword; that much we know. There are, however, more stories yet to be uncovered.

In quick review, let's remember that the four who are one were distinctive and unique on their own. The boys had come to be known Vio, Link, Red, and Blue. Link, being the original, was seen as a leader and the others would follow him even if his ideas were somewhat stupid at times. Blue was aggressive, very competitive, and quick to act.

Red was sensitive, optimistic, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Then there was Vio who was more reserved, intelligent, and clever. The four boys also each had a special weapon that would help them on their adventures. Link had a boomerang, Blue had a mallet, Red had a fire rod, and Vio had a bow.

Despite that the four continuously quarrel with each other, there were some moments where they could work together. As it turns out, four people can accomplish a lot more than any single person. Another thing to note is that the four boys were all friends with the princess. Princess Zelda of Hyrule depends on them to do their duty.

There was another world, much like that one, but in the past. Another Hyrule with a much darker fate. Within this Hyrule, there also was a Link and a Princess Zelda. This Princess Zelda, however, was vastly different from the cheery Zelda the Four Links knew as she was always gloomy.

Nobody can blame the poor princess, however. This Princess Zelda was roped into a terrible deal and all she once knew was gone before her eyes. An evil king named Zant took over the land and bathed Hyrule in twilight. All the inhabitants who wandered in the twilight became nothing more than spirits, roaming unaware in their dark world.

In response to the terrible fate of Hyrule, the poor helpless princess took on a mourning robe. As the hours passed, she would stare out her window as the sun would never fully set, but also never rise again. She was not allowed to leave the room, or else she would be killed and any last scrap of hope would be diminished. As for the Link of that Hyrule, well...he became trapped in the form of a wolf, unable to regain his true self.

Enough about the past, for now, anyhow... Our story takes place in the present with the four who are one. One day, all was peaceful in Hyrule and the four Links were bored. There had to be something fun they could do to pass the time.

"Oh! Oh! I just thought up a good idea!" Red exclaims suddenly, "How about we go to the Museum of Hyrule's History?!"

"Hey, that's actually a brilliant idea," Vio says, looking up from the text book he was reading, "Why, everyone loves to learn about their past."

Vio frequently takes up the activity of reading books to pass the time. His favorite, of course, are the nonfiction works. It seems that every time he picks one up, he learns something new. All this information can be stored away in his brain, though it likely will never come in handy.

"Why in all of Hyrule would anyone want to go to a stupid old building and look at dusty crusty stuff for hours without sitting down?!" asks Blue, angrily.

"Blue, history is a very important subject. Without history there would be no memory; what would the use of that be?" Vio asked, defending his favorite subject, "Besides, history is everything that happened in the past. Including what you just said. And my words earlier are also history now."

"Please don't fight! I don't like it when you guys argue!" Red whines, covering his ears with his hands.

"Guys, let's get going! If we don't hurry there will be a long line to get into the museum!" Link exclaims.

Blue continues grumbling, but joins the others at the door. Link leads the way because he is, after all, the leader of the group. The whole way across Hyrule Field, Red cheers excitedly. Luckily, not too many other Hylians are heading down this road so the trip is rather short.
