This story starts off between the Phantom lord and the Tower of Heaven arcs.
Erza and Lucy were on their way back from shopping, when something catches their attention.
Lucy: "It look like there's a bright light close by."
Erza: "I'm not sure what's happening but we should check it out in case."
Lucy nods and the two head there. When they get closer they see some other types of magic. Then they see a tall green haired woman being chased by several other mages.
One minute earlier.
Green haired mage: "How many time do I have to tell you? I'm not handing over this sword! It's a gift from a friend!"
Thief leader: "We'll just take it from your dead body."
The green haired mage thinks to herself: "There are too many of them. I can probably catch them off guard. From there I have three options: 1. attempt to knock out at least a few of them while they're distracted to make things easier, 2. look for help, and 3. my favorite one, run away. I think I can hear two voices. I guess I'll go for option 2."
Green haired mage: "Take this!"
She creates a blinding flash of light magic. The thieves cover their eyes. By the time the thieves' sight returns, they see the mage running.
The mage spots the two women and thinks to herself: "Bingo just what I was hoping for."
Erza: "We're not going to stand by while someone's in danger."
Lucy: "We're evening these odds."
Green haired mage: "Great! Let's take down those thieves."
The green haired mage enchants light magic on to her sword, Lucy summons Sagittarius, and Erza requips to her Heaven's Wheel armor . Sagittarius fires arrows at the thieves while keeping his distance from the enemies. Erza and the green haired mage both dodge the enemies attack and counterattack with their blades.
Erza: "I'll go on ahead and take on the leader. Could you two keep the rest of them busy?"
The two nod and Erza switches to her Lightning Empress armor. The thief leader requips to Flame Emperor armor."
Thief leader: "Well, If it ain't the legendary Erza Scarlet. I always wanted to face another requip magic user."
The lightning and fire clash as the two are pitted against each other. The two then change armor several times countering with a new armor as soon as one has an advantageous armor. The two finally switch to their Clear Heart Clothing.
Erza: "I guess this will come down to our skill with the blade."
Leader: "You just stole my line."
Both fighters dodge and block several hits until they clash one last time. In the end, Erza comes out victorious, while Lucy and the green haired mage take down the last two thieves.
Green haired mage: "Thanks for the help. My name is Roxie."
Erza: "Nice to meet you. I'm Erza."
Lucy: "And I'm Lucy. Why were those guys after you anyway?"
Roxie: "Well, Musica swords go for a ton of money on the black market and mine is one of the rarest ones apparently. By the way, I saw your both of your Fairy Tail guild marks. Can I join?"
Erza: "Since it's pretty late right now, you'll start tomorrow."
Roxie has a huge smile on her face and hugs both mages. the three head back and Lucy lets Roxie stay with her for the night.
Lucy: "I was wondering if you could tell me a little more about yourself."
Roxie: I am 19 years old, my favorite food is cookies and cream cake, like to draw people even if my art style needs work, and my cup size is-"
Lucy: "I meant things about your past like where you grew up or your friends."
Roxie: "I grew up in a small island in the Song Continent for most of my life and in terms of friends I had a few."
Lucy: "I've seen maps of the world and I don't remember seeing a Song Continent."
Roxie starts getting nervous.
Roxie: "I-I haven't been their in 5 years so maybe it changed names or something. Anyway it's getting late, Thanks for letting me sleep in your couch. Good night"
Lucy: "You're probably right. Good night."
