Chapter 1: Prologue
It was a very sunny day outside. Birds are chirping in happiness. Squirrels and rabbits are running around the neighborhood. Everything seems like a very lively day. But inside the basement of a house where everything there is clean lies three figures sleeping on a yellow couch. One of them is a tall brown-skinned boy with black hair, a gray shirt, and sky blue shorts. Sleeping on top of him is a blue donkey with black hair, black hooves, and black nose. The insides of his ears are black. An American flag is shown on the left side of his body. His size is similar to a TV remote. Next to the blue donkey is a blue and white zig-zagged striped fox with black eyelashes who is around the same size as the donkey. The insides of her ears are pink. The three figures were sleeping until a figure quietly came down to the basement. The figure was holding an airhorn in his right hand. The figure pressed the button of the airhorn which made that sound, waking up the three figures.
"Ayo, what gives?" Said the boy.
"You tryna give us a heart attack?" Said the donkey.
"Why interrupt my beauty sleep, jerk?" Said the fox.
"My bad, folks." Said the figure. The figure is revealed to be a humanoid rhinoceros. His head and body structure is identical to the brown-skinned boy. The trio open their eyes to see who and what woke them up.
"Oh, it's you, Rye." The boy said. He notices the airhorn in Rye's hand. "You woke us up with an airhorn?"
"Yes, I did." Rye said.
"What's the point of you doing that to wake us up like that?" The fox said.
"I just wanted to show you guys an app game which I created." Rye said.
"What game is it?" The donkey asked.
"It's called 'My Matchmaker'." Rye responded.
"How does the game work?" The boy asked. "I asked because it's an app game, and you're the creator."
"Good question, Edward." Rye said. "Since this is an app, all I have to do is either scan your face or type in your name to see who is most likely to be your love interest."
"Really, is that so?" Edward said. "Well then, how about you demonstrate me first, then Lefty the donkey, and finally Atlas the fox?"
"Sure, I can do that." Rye said. "Let me pull my tablet and open up the game." Rye goes through his backpack and pulls out his tablet. The backpack sports a blue color and the tablet sports a white color, and has "Blackview" brand on the back.
"I highly doubt that I will find my love match." Lefty said.
"I agree." Atlas said. "Matchmaker devices cannot determine who my soulmate will be."
"Well, I guess we'll have to find out and see." Edward said.
"Okay, guys." Rye said. "I just opened up the "My Matchmaker" app. So right now, let me scan your faces to see who your potential lover is. Let's start with you, Edward."
