Hey, this is a Draft that i wrote around... 2 months ago maybe? i found it today while cleaning my Drive and decided that if i modified some bits it would be decent, this setting would be just after the events of Persona 5 Royal and takes some elements from Persona 4 Arena, hope you like it, I haven't published something in a while and I haven't published anything in English period, so forgive those errors if there's one.

Also, when i use Italics it represents the thoughts/Inner dialogue of Ren, I hope its not confusing.

And i also hope you enjoy it.

Prologue: A mysterious woman and a young Priestess

3/19, Sunday.

It has been a couple of hours since Ren left the train station in Tokyo, and in just matter of minutes he will arrive back to what has been his home for almost all of his life, still finding difficult to believe that a year has gone by since he once departed heading to the capital of Japan, for him it surely felt much more than that, of course, everything that happened with the Phantom Thieves was important to him, but equally or even more important were the connections he made when he was there, not only with his partners in crime, but all of the people that opened up to him and in one way or another helped him in his journey as "Joker".

A robotic voice suddenly cut the silence in the train -"Our next stop is: Kobe main station".- Most of the passengers that were left in the train started picking up their things and soon enough everyone was getting out of the train and into the station.

Should I pick up some stuff to clean up in the convenience store?, I don't remember the state that the house was left in when I first headed toTokyo.

Walking down the streets of Kobe felt both familiar and alien at the same time, on one side, those were streets were he walked most of the time to go back from elementary and grade school, to buy groceries, or to go get some errands done, however although he could feel nostalgia, it didn't spark more emotions other that acceptance that he was now here, and that he couldn't do anything about it, or at least, nothing in the near future.

Ren arrived to his old house, an apartment complex where he spent most of his time back in the day, entered the elevator and pushed the button for the 5th floor, upon arrival he just went straight to the end of the hall and entered the old key he had, although the lock was a little rusty he could open the door just fine.

Stepping on the apartment he noticed a very thick layer of dust covering all the place, it was safe to assume that no one had entered this place in months if not since he initially left, after all his parents were always busy working all over japan so it was normal for him to stay alone for long periods of time, or at least it was…

I'll go for something to eat, then I will clean this mess.

Ren left his phone charging in the apartment upon noticing that it was dead and went to the elevator, but upon entering he sensed that something was off, he dismissed it as just his imagination and proceeded to click the 1st floor button, and although the doors closed and he felt the elevator moving he could tell that something wasn't right.

The ride up was like 15 seconds, why is this taking so long?...

It was then when he noticed something, on the button that should stand for the 3rd floor there was a faint glow, it was a certain shade of blue that he could easily recognize as he spent a lot of time as a phantom thief in that room, Ren had a lot of questions on his head, but noticing he didn't had a lot of option he pushed the button; the elevator came to a sudden stop and the doors started to slowly open, but he wasn't met with the light of the lobby, but with the faint blue lights of the Velvet Room.

Although he could feel this was a Velvet room it had a widely different look to the one he was used to. Taking some steps forward out of the elevator (that now was a big old elevator, not the regular small one of his complex) the first thing he noticed was that it wasn't a prison, but a medium sized lounge, a sofa and a table in the center of the room, but nothing more than that.

The voice of a woman coming from behind scared him a little bit - "Hello Joker, it's a pleasure to meet you, although I have to apologize for the way I contacted you so suddenly"-.

Ren turned back and saw the source of the voice, a woman in her mid 20s, she had a thin build and was wearing a dress with almost the same patterns that he was used to see in Justine, Caroline and Lavenza, however her dress didn't had any sleeves like the other three and instead of a police officer theme she looked… normal, to a degree at least, however her bright yellow eyes and the pale skin she has made it clear the connection that she had to this room.

Or at least, that's what I want to think.

- "Welcome to the Velvet room once again, my name is Elizabeth, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance" -. Her voice had a distinctive dream-like tone to it, something that he had heard before in the attendances that he knows, mostly in Lavenza.

-"The velvet room?, but it does not look like it… I mean, I can see some similarities, but this is definitely not the room I know"-. And although it was not obvious to a person that was stepping in it for the first time in this particular room, it seemed like it was used and forgotten about for a while now.

The room was in a pretty rough shape, there was a circular table covered by a velvet blue table cloth that had some holes on it, a big couch with some gold details on the edges and with the familiar shade of blue everywhere else, however it seemed that nobody had sat on there for… A long time, or so it was the feeling that Ren felt; there was also a thick layer of dust almost everywhere that he looked, much like his room on the outside world.

-"Indeed, this room was used by another one of your kind… I believe the term would be a "Wildcard", long before your days as a Phantom Thief, however, the motives why I have called you here are diff-"-.

A small tremor was felt in the room, that even though it was not strong by any means, it made Elizabeth cut her sentence short, just to look at Ren directly and address what just happened.

-"It seems that we're running out of time, but please, answer my call the next time you see it in your world, it is of great importance to me, and I hope that it can help you too along the way."-. Before anyone could say something else a white light blinded both parties, and before he knew it Ren was once again in the elevator of his apartment complex.

…What just happened?

And although it happened some weeks ago, the words of Lavenza came back to him, as if someone was whispering them in his ear.

-"The final Arcana you have acquired is "The World" it is the power for an individual to stand on their own two feet, swayed by none, this power shall fuel the hope shared amongst your friends and yourself, to strive towards a better future. With "The World", you are no longer without a place to belong and will never trudge a path alone again"-.

Ren turned around to see if someone was actually whispering something to him but noticed that no one else was in the elevator, which opened on the first floor of the building, as it was supposed to do initially.

I have a lot of free time at the moment so I suppose that I can try and do some research about all of this but… how do I even go about it?

He looked around the small lobby that the apartment had but there was nothing out of the ordinary, the only person that was there was the security guard that he saw before going into the elevator. Ren considered asking him if he saw something weird but dismissed it because he probably doesn't know anything and being a security guard, probably he doesn't step into the elevator very often.

Remembering that he still has to get something to eat Ren thought of going to a convenience store that was nearby, but he couldn't stop thinking about what just happened, he certainly wanted to know more about this Elizabeth, mostly out of curiosity, but for some reason he felt that there was a lot of information and clues that he was missing, and he wanted to find out what that was exactly.

Ren was lost in thought while walking out of the building that he failed to notice a woman that was just outside on the door, she was also not paying too much attention to her surroundings, but this was because she was looking at her phone, Ren was able to react but he was so close that when he finally noticed her the only course of action to avoid her was a sudden movement that made him lose his balance and fall dramatically into the floor.

-"Oh! Sorry I didn't see you at all, A-are you okay?"-. When Ren looked up he saw a woman, in her early 20s, mostly on the shorter side (Although he could not tell very well as he was on the floor) and the most eye-catching thing he noticed was her quite unique teal hair color that was tied on a braid.

Ren started to get himself out of the floor while saying -"Yeah I'm fine, sorry I was just… thinking about a lot of stuff, I did not hit you right? miss…"-.

-"You can call me Fuuka, I'm just a tourist over here on a work related trip. Actually, do you know the area? I'm searching for a specific place but I'm not able to find it…"-. Ren looked at her phone and noticed that her Map app was open.

-"I think this is the place you're looking for, I live here so i can go ahead and tell the guard to let you pass"-. He thought that it was the least he could do for her and it would only take at most 5 minutes so there was nothing to lose.

-"You would do that?, thank you! although if you have something else to do don't worry about me"-. Ren was about to insist that it was no problem for him when he noticed something on her phone, just as she locked it and put it in her pocket, just for a brief moment when the map app wasn't open… It was just a quick peek but he swore he saw something very familiar.

He saw the Meta-Nav.

Author here, as i said, this is a draft that i found just some hours ago and decide to have a crack at it, let me know what you guys think, i have a basic structure of what i wanted to accomplish in the long run but that's still very far away, any recommendations or anything is appreciated, thanks, and hope I can get back to you with a proper chapter 1 in the near future.
