The dream world is a place where people can fulfil their desires. To escape reality, many choose this world over the real one. It's said that the more you visit there, the easier it becomes to get lost. That's why the government has created a system called Soul Readers which allows them to track what people are doing in their dreams. Succubus and Incubus demons were also included in this system. They have been given permission to be able to freely enter human dreams, but they must follow a strict set of rules.

A succubus is a type of demon in human form that takes the souls of men. Succubi exist only for sexual pleasure and nothing else. Incubi do not take souls; instead, they steal sexual energy from humans. Both types of succubi feed on love and lust, so they will go after anyone who feels any sort of attraction towards someone or something. Sometimes a succubus will try to seduce someone into sleeping with her; other times, she might just prey on those who seem like easy targets. She may even use magic to lure victims away from their friends and family. A succubus doesn't need to consume a soul for sustenance, because she gets all the nourishment she needs from lust. There are certain techniques that allow them to draw out more sexual energy from their victim than normal, making them stronger.

Incubi are male demons in human form that feed on sexual energy. They can drain their target's sexual energy by simply being near them without touching them. The more powerful an incubus is, the easier it is for him to make people fall in love with him. This works extremely well against young women, who are more susceptible to these kinds of things. Both types of succubi are not all evil. It's hard to say if they're actually alive or not. Most believe that they don't have a soul and, therefore, cannot be killed. Some believe that these demons are immortal, while others think they can die. Others still believe that they're part of some sort of evil conspiracy. All the evidence points to the fact that succubi and incubi do exist, though.

In this very government, called the "Ruling Council" created a set of laws that were meant to regulate the actions of these demons. Those who break the laws would be punished by being banished from the dream world forever. These regulations have been passed down for centuries, and since they've been enforced, things have been relatively peaceful among the residents of the dream world. While there were some problems here and there, it was never anything serious enough to affect the peace.

Though the Ruling Council had strict laws about how succubi and incubi should behave, no one really cared much. They could do whatever they wanted as long as they didn't hurt anyone. That's why it came as such a surprise when one day, a female succubus decided to challenge these laws. Her name was Yuzuriha. A relatively young demon of the age of two hundred years old, she had been born to a group of succubi that lived deep in the mountains. She was the only demon known to take a liking to a human being which was against the law.

A relationship between a succubus and a human is forbidden. In other words, this is a relationship that cannot exist. For those in authority, the idea of the two of them living happily together is absolutely absurd. Unprecedented, unheard of, and completely unacceptable. It was obvious that our little demon girl hadn't quite gotten the concept yet of dating someone that is from another species. Her curiosity about human men had led her to seek them out. She had begun visiting humans' dreams, seducing them, and taking their souls. She thought it would be fun to see what would happen if she did this. She enjoyed the power that came with having these souls inside of her. The feeling of being the one in control, of being able to choose who lives and who dies. And above all, she loved the taste of them. It was a delicious flavour that made her want to keep tasting it over and over again.

It's all fun and games until she stumbled upon one man that changed her mind about everything. His name was Defteros. He was a human and different from all the others she had met thus far. Not only did he look handsome, but his personality was also unique. No trace of sin or evil could be found in him at all. That baffled our little demon to the point of asking herself how in the world did a human like him, so innocent, kind-hearted, and gentle, end up existing in a world full of corruption and evil. Yuzuriha secretly followed him whenever she entered the human realm. She began to see how special he truly was. She fell in love with him and knew right away that she couldn't leave him alone. So she did what any girl would do in her position; she tried to get him to fall in love with her. It became clear to her that he was not going to fall for her. She decided to just give up on him and move on.

Yuzuriha almost left his dreams when suddenly, the scenario changed. It went from a sunny day outside to a gloomy rainy night. The scene before her eyes changed drastically. Instead of seeing the usual scenery, she was now standing next to a cemetery. A tombstone stood in front of her, displaying the epitaphs of the deceased that lay beneath it. The name 'Aspros' was engraved on it. There was something ominous about this place; the atmosphere seemed to be telling her to stay away. But despite all that, she couldn't help but keep standing where she was. She felt an intense curiosity toward the grave that was in front of her. Curious, she kneeled down and read the epitaph. The inscription said: "Here lies Aspros, Older brother of Defteros."

The name of the man who laid there was written with so much sadness in its tone. It was like the grave was speaking directly to her. Yuzuriha was so confused by this. She didn't know whether to believe what she had just read or dismiss it as a figment of his imagination. She was so caught up in her own thoughts that she failed to notice the figure that appeared behind her.

"You have been popping up in my dreams lately,"

She turned around to Defteros and saw him with his hands inside his trench coat. This was the first time that Defteros had actually responded to her presence in his dreams. She stood up and faced him, and judging from the way he was looking at her, he had a relatively calm expression on his face.

"I've seen you in my dreams many times. I never really took the time to pay attention to your appearance every time I saw you, do you mind if I ask you why you keep following me?"

This question caught Yuzuriha off guard. She was unable to answer him straight away. In response, she gave him a nervous smile.

"Well...Umm...I don't understand myself..." Her tail was wagging frantically as she spoke. She kept her head down with a tint of red on her cheeks. An abnormal behaviour in a succubus, she thought to herself.

"You not human, are you?" he asked, breaking the ice.

"No,"

"Then what are you?" he continued.

"I'm a succubus, a demon,"

"So you're a demon? What is it that you want?" he asked again.

There was a silence between them for a moment. Yuzuriha was not expecting such a direct question. She was unable to give an appropriate answer to his question. She wanted to say something intelligent, but her mind was blank. All she could do was awkwardly stare into his eyes. And then she finally managed to find the courage to speak.

"I...I...I'm here for you, Defteros. I want to be with you,"

Defteros was taken aback by this unexpected revelation. He raised his hand up to his mouth to hide a smile. For a moment, he was speechless, and then he replied with a gentle voice, "Why would you want to be with me?"

"Because I love you..."

"Love? Is that even possible? You can't love anyone; you're a demon. Demons don't feel love; they only feed off the lust and passion of humans to survive,"

Yuzuriha was now feeling awkward standing there in front of him with a pleading look. It was understandable why he would say those things because it was true. Love is a concept alien to demons. Lust and desire were what sustained their existence, and thus they existed only to fulfil these needs. They did not care how many humans they slaughtered in the process as long as they satisfied themselves.

But Yuzuriha was different. It was true that she was a demon, but that did not mean that she was incapable of loving someone. She wanted nothing more than to be loved by Defteros. She knew that it was impossible for a demon and a human to be together, but she still wanted to try anyway. She wanted to show him that being a demon did not preclude her from having feelings. And just maybe, she hoped that he might reciprocate her feelings. She wished that she could tell him everything without hesitation, but that was not the case. The reason was simple; she was scared of the consequences should she reveal too much about herself. Defteros scratched his cheek and let out a sigh. He seemed to be thinking hard. He was trying to come up with a rebuttal that would make sense. But at the end of it all, he decided to give up on his attempt. He was simply too tired to think anymore.

"Fine... If you say that you love me, then I guess you do. I don't see any harm in that. I'll accept your feelings for now,"

Yuzuriha's heart skipped a beat when she heard his reply. A huge weight was lifted off her shoulders. She felt so relieved that she finally got to hear him say those words. She was overjoyed at his acceptance of her feelings, and she suddenly forgot about her fear of revealing too much. She gazed at him with wide-open eyes and embraced him tightly. She held him tightly to her chest and hugged him as if he were her life.

"Thank you, Defteros..." she whispered. He didn't resist the hug; instead, he put his arms around her to hold her back. He had no idea what to expect from her, nor did he know what to say. So, he chose to remain silent. He merely stood there, embracing her gently but that was all an illusion. Defteros is no longer alive and sacrificed himself to keep her alive. She couldn't believe he spared her in exchange for her not to be imprisoned for breaching the law. Now that he's gone, she feels empty inside. Yuzuriha sat on top of a roof in the dream world with a necklace he had given her, which she had kept for 200 years.

"You were always looking after me...even when I was supposed to be the one to protect you from all of this, " Yuzuriha whispered to herself as tears ran down her cheeks.

The necklace was all that remained of him. Whenever she looked at it, she was reminded of the man she loved. Her memories were the only source of comfort that brought her some sort of happiness. She wanted nothing more than to see him again, to thank him for saving her life. She turned her head the moment she heard footsteps from behind her, and it was her only Sasha. Sasha is a friend of Yuzuriha, who has helped her several times over the years before and after meeting Defteros.

"What's wrong?" Sasha asked.

"I miss him so much..." Yuzuriha replied.

Sasha frowned, and she took a seat next to Yuzuriha and hugged her knees. Yuzuriha wasn't the only demon who had fallen in love with a human. Sasha had her own thing with Sisyphus. The only difference between the two was that Sasha played it safe and never dared to go against the laws.

She sighed. "I know how you feel. I think about him too sometimes,"

"Sasha, it's been over 200 years, and I still can't bring myself to move on," Yuzuriha said sadly.

"It'll be okay. It might take time, but eventually, you'll find someone else who you can spend your days with," Sasha said. "It's time you start taking jobs that the council gives you, or else you're going to end up getting banished from here,"

Yuzuriha wiped away her tears and looked up at the sky. The skies in the dream world differed from those in the human realm. Darkness is all they ever saw; it was neither night nor day. It was all the same every day, and Yuzuriha hated it. In comparison to what she was used to, everything looked so bright and magnificent. The human realm had so many interesting things that she explored with Defteros. He showed her a world she had no idea existed. She continued staring at the sky, while listening to the sound of the wind blowing through the air.

"Yuzuriha, this is serious. You have to move on and focus on your work. You haven't collected a single soul in the past two hundred years," Sasha scolded her.

"I know," Yuzuriha replied without a hint of trying to disagree with her. "But it's hard to forget someone like him,"

"He isn't just anyone; he had a pure heart. That's something that you don't come across often, and if you let it get to you, then you aren't going to last very long here,"

Yuzuriha knew that Sasha was right, but she wished that she could change her fate. She didn't want to be alone forever.

"Why did you fall in love with him anyways?" Sasha asked, looking at her best friend. Yuzuriha smiled, and she held the necklace, almost hugging it.

"Because he was different," Yuzuriha replied. "From all the souls that I have collected over the 200 years, I couldn't take his soul. It was pure and innocent, like a child's. He taught me so much and made everything seem so beautiful,"

Sasha nodded, and she placed her hand on Yuzuriha's shoulder. "He sounds just like Sisyphus. I understand the feelings you keep talking about. But you need to stop holding on to him and start living your life," Sasha advised, but Yuzuriha hugged herself and looked down at her feet that were dangling in the air.

"Think about it this way, Defteros knew that you were in trouble, and he sacrificed himself for you. No human would give away their life to a demon like that unless they loved you. Don't waste his sacrifice because you are afraid to live on without him. He wouldn't have wanted this for you. Do you hear me, Yuzuriha? You must move on," Sasha said.

Yuzuriha nodded, and she looked back up into the skies. Her words were true. Defteros chose Yuzuriha over his own life. If he didn't love her that much, then why did he do it? Why would he let an immortal creature like herself live?

"I will try my best, Sasha. I appreciate your help," Yuzuriha said.

"Don't mention it," Sasha smiled. "Now, off to work!"

Yuzuriha stood up and sprouted her wings. She flew off the roof, waving at Sasha. Sasha watched her go until she disappeared from sight. Her duty was over, and now she could finally relax knowing that Yuzuriha will not be subjected to any more pain. She has always been worried about Yuzuriha since her fiasco with her being romantically involved with a human. Sasha was against it first and yet she started seeing her perspective after meeting Defteros. The two were so happy together, and they loved each other very much. Sasha smiled feeling the wind blowing her hair and felt content that it was alright for her to have her own dreams.

Yuzuriha has been flying for hours looking for a job to do, but none interested her. She usually took jobs that required her to kill any rogue demons or humans rather than collecting their souls via sexual intercourse anymore. The dream world had no jobs until she saw a post on a guild building, and she went directly to the site.

'Hmmm...' Yuzuriha thought, and she landed in front the building. She walked inside, and she spotted the person posting the ad. He was wearing a dark hooded cloak that covered most of his face.

"Hey there," Yuzuriha said. "You got a job for me?"

The man behind the counter handed her a piece of paper and then turned around. His hair was black, and he had red eyes. He looked to be about 50 years older than her. He had a small moustache and beard.

"Oh yes. I've heard rumours about you. Your name is Yuzuriha, correct? I'm sure you know who I am. I'm Master Chaos. I run the guild, and I have a job for you,"

Yuzuriha nodded, and she took the offered paper. "What is it exactly?"

Master Chaos is a vampire and one of the many rulers of the city. In this time period, vampires weren't considered evil. They were known for being extremely intelligent and cunning but also very powerful. They were treated with respect and even feared.

"This job isn't for everyone. In fact, I saved it specifically for you, and I only did that because you're a rare breed of your kind. You made heads turn when your affair with a mortal was known to the Council. You're quite the troublesome little girl,"

Yuzuriha rolled her eyes and stood there in silence. She didn't like the way he was talking to her. "Is there anything else I need to know?"

"Indeed, but I will need you to swear secrecy. If anyone finds out about what we are doing, then it will cause a huge problem within the Council. Follow me, and I'll show you how to get started," Master Chaos said, and he led Yuzuriha through the labyrinth of the building.

"Where are we going?" Yuzuriha asked.

"To my private quarters. We won't be disturbed there," Master Chaos said.

They reached the end of the hallway, and he opened a door revealing a room filled with books and notes. There were a few desks and chairs and a bed? Yuzuriha eyed him suspiciously.

" Is this your bedroom?"

Master Chaos nodded. "As I said before, we won't be disturbed here. What I have here is a forbidden book. It contains some information that even the Council doesn't know yet," He said, and Yuzuriha kept her guard up.

"Okay, so what is the book about?" Yuzuriha asked.

"It is a book about resurrecting the dead back to life," he said, and with her eyes widened immediately and the first person that came to mind was Defteros.

"Is that even possible? To bring someone back to life?" Yuzuriha asked.

"Yes, only if the person you wish to bring back has a soul as pure as the angels. That is a rare thing to find since most people these days have fallen into sin. I've done a lot of research on this book learning the ins and outs; I think this might help you be with that human again," he said, and Yuzuriha teared up and ran towards Chaos and gave him a big hug.

"Why are you helping me?" She asked.

Master Chaos chuckled. "I don't know. Maybe I want to see you happy. Every time I see you, you always look sad," he said, and Yuzuriha thanked him. She took a step back while he opened the book.

"However, these certain things always come with a cost," Master Chaos warned.

Yuzuriha frowned. "Like what?"

"It is not easy bringing the dead back to life. Many things can go wrong. You must be willing to sacrifice something big for this," he said.

"Anything! Just tell me!" Yuzuriha begged.

"Alright then. I will summon the spirit of Defteros. You need to give me something you love dearly. Something that represents you or the bond you share with him," he said, pointing to her necklace.

Yuzuriha looked at him with pleading eyes. She didn't want to lose it. What were the chances of this whole thing not working and she ends up losing the necklace forever? Yuzuriha pondered for a long moment, and he spoke out, bringing her back to reality.

"Make your decision quickly, or you may miss the opportunity to save him,"

Yuzuriha nodded and took off her necklace and handed it to him. She didn't hesitate, and she knew that if this worked out, then everything would be fine.

"Okay, now let's start the ritual," he said, and Yuzuriha stood back as he began to chant the words from the book. The words were unfamiliar to her, but she followed along anyway. He continued until he finished, and then he said a single word.

"Heavens above," and suddenly, she felt something burning inside her. She looked down and saw a small blue flame appear in her palm. Master Chaos smiled, and he touched his palm to hers, and then a second flame appeared. He looked at it, and then he nodded. "It worked!"

She held her hand up and watched as the flames grew larger and shot straight up. As she gazed upon them, she saw a small portal open in front of her, and there he was, sitting in a chair in a dark room with chains keeping him bound in one place. She couldn't believe it was actually happening. She had never thought she'd see him again. He looked so different though.

"Defteros?!" Yuzuriha called out.

Her heart skipped a beat as she stared at the fire. He hadn't aged since the last time she saw him. She reached out and tried to touch him, but she hissed in pain and pulled back. Yuzuriha looked at the portal and wondered why it hurt her whenever she touched it.

"The portal...it hurts me every time I reach out to him," she said. Yuzuriha could do nothing but watch him sitting there quietly and all chained up. She turned to face Chaos, hoping that he had an answer for her.

"It seems like the necklace isn't enough to fully control your power over the portal. It could also be because you are still new at this," Chaos rubbed his chin, thinking about another possibility of why the portal was rejecting her, and then he spoke again. "I think it would be best if you offered something valuable than just a necklace," he stated. Yuzuriha teared up even more and glared at Chaos.

"You! You said he would come back to life, but you lied!" She yelled angrily.

Chaos shook his head. "No, I did not lie. This is what I promised you," he said.

"But you said it was possible, and I trusted you! I should have known better than to trust anyone from this place. Now the necklace I gave you, I will never get back! What else do I need to give you?" Yuzuriha asked with a frown on her face.

"Your memories," he said.

Yuzuriha gasped. "My memories? You mean like all of my memories?" she asked.

"No, just the ones you and Defteros had. You must give me those memories to seal off the deal and bring him back to life,"

Her memories with Defteros were the last thing she wanted to lose. Memories are precious to people. They hold our past and how we came to be. To lose the memories that she built with Defteros over the years meant that she could forget who she was. Yuzuriha bit her lip and looked at the floor.

"I'm sorry if this sounds selfish, but you know what you have to do," he said.

Yuzuriha looked into his eyes. "So, you're really asking me to forget about him? Everything I had with him will all be wiped away?"

Chaos nodded. "Yes, unfortunately. That's the only way to make it work and bring Defteros back," he said.

"The ritual needs something more meaningful to bring him back to life. Defteros' soul is the purest and most powerful one in this realm. The necklace was enough to open a small portal, but your memories hold a deeper value,"

Yuzuriha cried, hiding her face and fell onto her knees.

"But it will all be pointless if I won't remember anything that happened between us. What we did together, the love we had for each other, what we talked about during those long nights of talking. He was my everything!" Yuzuriha yelled.

"It is what it is. That is what sacrifices are for," he said.

Yuzuriha sobbed, and she buried her face onto the ground. She couldn't bear to look at him. Chaos knelt next to her and placed his hands on her back. She snuggled into his arms, and she began to cry even harder. He held her tight and stroked her hair.

"It's okay now; I won't ask anything else of you. Just the memories will be enough, and I promise you you'll be reunited again," he said.

"There is one thing I will tell you, When Defteros comes back, he will be different. Resurrecting the dead is a difficult process, and sometimes things go wrong. So please don't expect him to be exactly the same as before. The body may look like him, but his mind will be altered. This is where your memories come in," Chaos said, standing up and started chanting a new spell. In seconds, a white mist floated around them.

"Your memories will form as a foundation for his mind. It will help him keep his sanity, and he will be able to see through the veil of madness. His old personality will return, and he will be himself again. This is the price you pay for bringing him back to life,"

Yuzuriha looked at him with teary eyes. "I understand. I will do it, but you have to promise me one thing. When he comes back, promise me that you will keep him away from the Ruling Council. They would never let me leave this place alive if they knew that I did this. And I don't want Defteros to suffer in the same way that I did,"

"Don't worry, I will keep him safe," he said, taking hold of her hand and kissing the top of it. The thing about Yuzuriha is that she's the most wanted demon in this realm. No matter what creature you were, she was wanted by every male and female species. Even Chaos was under her charm from time to time when he was younger.

"Thank you, Chaos. I am truly grateful for this," she said.

"You're welcome. I am glad I could help you," he said.

Yuzuriha smiled and stood up. She turned and looked through the portal again. To see Defteros chained to a chair with his head down and his legs shackled to the ground. Her heart ached so much seeing him in such pain, and she waited for the spell to finish.

The flames surrounding the portal dimmed until there was nothing left except the light coming from inside the room. Yuzuriha felt her powers weaken, feeling drained, but she was still able to walk through the portal towards Defteros and knelt down in front of him. She took hold of his face and brushed her fingers along his cheek. His eyes were not the same shade of blue, but rather his eyes looked pale, almost as if he was dead or a ghost. They had no life in them, and he didn't move or say anything. His eyes weren't the only thing that was off, his hair was drained off of its colour, and his skin had a greyish tint to it. So cold.

Yuzuriha took hold of his jaw and forced him to look at her. She placed a finger on his lips and continued. "Defteros, you and I will be as one. My memories will become yours. You will remember our time together as well as everything else we shared," she said. No motion or a sound from him, only tears leaking down his cheeks. This is beyond heartbreaking to witness. Tears began streaming down her own face as well. Yuzuriha caressed his face and whispered softly to him.

"Say something, please,"

She could feel his heart beating, but it was slow and weak.

"Please answer me," she repeated.

Given the number of times that Yuzuriha tried to talk to him, he never responded to her. At the end of the day, she was merely talking to a corpse that was once alive. She held him close and kissed the top of his head before she heard Chaos instructing her on what to do to wake him up. Yuzuriha bit on her thumb and letting the blood drip onto Defteros' tongue. She did this for quite some time until she felt his mouth move and saw his eyelids flutter open. The colour of his eyes, hair and skin was back to normal. She smiled almost immediately, but something went terribly wrong. He looked around and noticed the chains that bound him. He moved his head away from her touch and looked at her with tears streaming down his face. She kept in mind that this wasn't her Defteros yet; his body and mind were still a bit unstable. He looked so afraid of her; his eyes were filled with fear and confusion.

He looked around again and struggled to break free from the restraints holding him to the chair, but he couldn't. He started growling with his sharp canine-like teeth bearing at her and trying to kill her. Yuzuriha was terrified, and she tried to calm him down, begging him to stop. But he wouldn't listen. A body that had no soul inside of it was a dangerous thing. It would react to any stimulus without thought or care for the consequences. The memory transfer process took its time, and until then, she needed to figure out a way to calm him down. She gently touched his face again and wiped away his tears.

"My love, please don't be afraid. I'm here with you," she said.

He snarled again and shook his head and tried to bite her. Yuzuriha moved in closer to him and gave him a hug, hoping to ease his fears, but he bit down on her shoulder, biting deep into her flesh. Yuzuriha gasped out in pain, and yet she still continued to hug him and whisper soothing words in his ear. She could feel his heartbeat getting faster and stronger.

"I know, my love, the memories are too much for your mind to handle right now. Everything will be fine. I promise you," she said.

He bit down harder and sank deeper into her flesh, and his jaws clenched hard, causing blood to pour from her shoulder. Yuzuriha screamed in agony, but that didn't stop her from holding onto him and keeping him close. She could feel him shaking and trembling, and his body was covered in sweat. The restraints holding him back broke off, and Defteros leapt forward and pinned her down. Blood dripped all over the floor, and Yuzuriha felt the pain surge through her shoulder. Defteros was sweating even more, and his fangs covered in her blood. Wounds on a demon didn't raise a big concern because of the ability to regenerate and heal themselves afterwards, but her body wasn't healing. It was just bleeding profusely.

It didn't confuse her to know why. Being in this space, in the presence of holy magic, made her body unable to heal. Her powers were getting drained the more time she spent in this place. Defteros glared at her and kept her pinned under him. She could hear him panting like a wild animal. His eyes were burning with fire and rage. She tried to push him off her, but he was heavy and strong. His strength grew exponentially as he fed on the energy he kept taking from her. Yuzuriha could feel herself losing consciousness, and she knew it was only a matter of seconds before she lost her life. She could feel the last of her power fading away, but she did what she could to keep herself alive. She placed her hand on his chest by his heart, sending a pulse of love and light into him.

Suddenly Defteros stopped shaking, and his eyes calmed down. In an instant, his muscles relaxed, and the feeling of euphoria washed over him. His fangs retracted, and he backed away from Yuzuriha and collapsed to the ground. He sat there motionless, and his breathing was shallow and quick. Yuzuriha used the last of her strength to crawl over to him, laying her head on his lap with him looking down at her. Confusion and fear were written on his face again.

Yuzuriha sat up and brought his face closer to hers till their foreheads were touching. "I'm going to be a part of you now for all eternity. My memories will be forever burned into your mind. You will never forget me. I need you to understand that this is not a bad thing. Your mind and body need my powers; it craves it. I know it's scary, and your emotions won't make sense right now, but everything will be fine," she told him. She kissed him on the forehead and wrapped her arms around his neck while whispering,

"I love you,"

Defteros gasped, waking up with sweat covering his body. He was panting heavily and held his shirt tightly, looking around in his bedroom. A nightmare? He thought. Or was it reality?

His heart was beating rapidly, causing his head to throb, and he was having trouble breathing. Everything around him became blurry, and he felt nauseous. He tried to calm himself and take slow, deep breaths. After several minutes, his heart rate slowed, and his vision returned to normal. He cleared his throat and stood up, heading to the bathroom to splash some water on his face. He rubbed his face with a towel to get rid of the lingering feeling that something bad had happened to him. When he finished washing his hands, he returned to his bed and lay on his stomach. He felt a sense of uneasiness crawling in his stomach, and he was unable to fall asleep. He stared at his ceiling, thinking about what exactly happened in his dream. He tried to remember everything he did, but nothing came to mind. All he remembered was seeing a woman.

She was gorgeous. Never in his lifetime has he encountered such beauty. The dream he had was so vivid and real. He could see her face clearly, and all the colours seemed so vibrant. But who was she? What was she? In the dream, he caught a glimpse of her bat-like wings with a tail and horns. Had he really seen those things? He couldn't remember for sure.

"It's just a dream; dreams have no meaning," he said to himself.

He got up from the bed again, walked over to the window, and opened it. He breathed in the fresh air and felt calm and at peace. Defteros looked out the window and saw the sun rising in the early mornings. Just another day in paradise but another day to go to work. He sighed and started getting ready for the day.

Defteros is a young 27 old man who worked countless jobs and still hasn't found the dream job he was looking for. Today was no different. A simple office job, but at least it paid well. He was living alone with no wife and no kids. As single as it could get. One might think that a handsome guy like Defteros had many women yearning for his attention, but no, he was quite satisfied with his current situation. It's a secret to everyone except for his best friend Asmita that Defteros is still a virgin.

Despite the seven-year-old age gap, Asmita and Defteros have been best friends for years; the two got along well and never left one another's side. They shared similar interests and hobbies, and they also shared the same beliefs. The only difference was that Asmita was more open-minded than Defteros, but that didn't bother either of them. Defteros cherished his friendship with Asmita.

In terms of a relationship, Defteros was looking for a partner with whom he could spend the rest of his life with. You know, like any normal person would. But alas, Defteros' virginity status has always been an issue for him. It's no secret that if a guy is a virgin, he is automatically considered not to be very lucky in the bedroom department. And if that wasn't bad enough, if you happen to be a virgin, chances are you won't find anyone willing to take you home, let alone have sex with you. So, what does Defteros do? He keeps it a secret from everyone.

Before Defteros drove to work, he stopped by the usual café he liked visiting every morning to get a cup of coffee. He ordered his usual black coffee and sat beside the window. The busy streets of Athens were bustling with people running about their business and cars driving through the streets. The streets had all kinds of people from different races. Athens is a beautiful place, Defteros thought as he sipped his coffee. As he was drinking his coffee, his cheeks suddenly turned red, and he gasped out in surprise.

A couple had walked past him with his eyes making eye contact with a woman with strawberry blonde hair and turquoise coloured eyes. She was tall and wore a black trench coat with her hair in a messy updo bun, and her bangs were framed nicely on her face. Her outfit was simple yet elegant, and she looked beautiful. The guy she was with looked decent, according to him, but something about this mysterious woman captivated Defteros. He watched her walk away until she disappeared behind a corner. Defteros didn't finish his coffee and put the cup down on the table along with the bill. Without thinking twice, he walked out of the café and followed the two. His curiosity was getting the better of him. Who in their right mind would be following two complete strangers?

When he got to the same corner, Defteros hid behind a wall as the two walked into an empty alleyway with no witnesses around. He peered forward to see if he could spot the pair again but was disappointed. The two disappeared without a trace leaving Defteros with no clue as to where they went or even who they were. He stood there for a few minutes, hoping to catch a glimpse of them again but to no luck.

"What am I doing?" Defteros thought to himself. "I'm following two random people, and now I have no idea where they went,"

After about 5 minutes, Defteros decided to head back to work.

'This job is so boring; I can't wait till the weekend,' Defteros thought to himself, typing out reports and taking notes. He kept working the whole day without a break. Typing out reports and did research on anything that came his way. It was already close to 8 pm when his boss told him that he was done for the day. It was relieving to know that he didn't need to stay late again tonight. He was tired and wanted to go home and relax. He sat at his desk and started packing his things together. After putting everything away in his bag, Defteros stood up and grabbed his coat. He was just about to leave when he heard someone call out to him.

"Hey," said the voice of a familiar feminine voice.

Defteros turned around to see the strawberry blonde-haired woman in front of him. He instantly blushed when he saw her.

"Hi," Defteros replied nervously. A lot of things were going through his head when he first spotted her. Now after talking to her a little bit, his thoughts were all jumbled up. Her stare made him feel weak in the knees, and all his nerves were frayed. Even his palms felt sweating while holding his briefcase. The clicking of her heels against the floor made him shiver. No one else was in the office except the two, and when she got close enough to Defteros, she gave him a playful smirk, grabbed hold of his tie and pulled him closer to her. She leaned in and whispered into his ear.

"I couldn't help but notice you following me today, mister,"

"Oh, uhm...well..." Defteros stuttered. He felt a little embarrassed that she knew about him tracking her down.

"Don't worry; I won't tell anyone. You can tell me the story later if you want," she said with a smile. She let go of Defteros's tie and placed her hand on his shoulder. Her grip was gentle but firm. She then led Defteros towards the elevator. When they got inside, she pushed the button for the ground floor. Defteros took a deep breath to calm his nerves.

'How in the world did she get access to the building?' Defteros thought. They got off the elevator and walked down the hallways of the building. Defteros walked behind her and followed wherever she went. So many red flags went off in his mind trying to understand how she even found him? and where she was taking him. Just as they reached the end of the hallway, she stopped and turned around. She unbuttoned her trench coat to reveal her wearing a black silk dress that was tight fitted to her curves. Defteros could see the outline of her breasts and hips through the thin fabric. Her sudden strength caught Defteros off guard, and she pinned him onto the couch nearby with her straddling his body.

Her cleavage was just visible under the short dress. It felt like a million butterflies flitted around in his stomach when she pressed her chest against his face. Defteros tried to put some distance between them by pushing her off of him, but he looked up at her eyes and saw the look of pure seduction.

"Don't be shy," she cooed in his ear. She held the back of his head, burying his face with her breasts. Defteros gulped hard as he felt her softness press against his cheeks. Defteros was unaware that he was in the presence of a succubus that was currently using her powers to make him fall asleep in order to feed off his energy. She let off a sweet scent from her body that caused Defteros to become drowsy. Yuzuriha licked her lips and touched Defteros's cheek with her fingertips. What she was doing was not allowed because she had already completed her previous job. It was an accident that she happened to find him, but she sensed something different about this man that she couldn't understand. She wasn't sure why she was drawn to him, but she knew that she needed to feed on him.

"You need to sleep now," she said with a soothing voice.

Yuzuriha was impressed by his resistance to her power. Humans would easily succumb to her. But he was stronger than most men. His willpower was impressive, and it made her curious to the point that she decided to explore what makes him tick. She slowly started grinding against his crotch, and he looked down to see her rubbing her hips against him. He even questioned why he was letting this happen. He fought back against her with everything that he had and managed to get her off him, but she smirked when she saw his bulge. This got interesting for her since no human pushed her away like that.

"Why are you resisting?" she asked playfully. Defteros kept his head away to avoid looking into her eyes. "Come on, don't be shy," Yuzuriha coaxed.

"I'm sorry, but I cannot do this right now," Defteros said nervously. He was afraid of what might happen if he looked into her eyes again.

"What makes you say that?" Yuzuriha asked curiously. The lustful look in her eyes was turning Defteros on. He moved his head to the side a little bit so she could look into his eyes. She smirked again and leaned in closer. Defteros pushed her away, but she grabbed his chin.

"Look at me," she demanded. Defteros reluctantly did as he was told.

"This is your first time, isn't it?" she asked. Defteros looked away from embarrassment and responded.

"Yes, it is my first time," he replied quietly. Yuzuriha smiled.

"Now, look me in the eyes," she commanded. Defteros felt a rush of drowsiness when he looked into her eyes. They're not a the same turquoise colour as before; instead, they were purple. When he looked deeper inside her eyes, he saw a deep abyss and darkness that seemed endless. It was almost as if he was staring into the void itself.

"Do you feel anything?" Yuzuriha asked. Defteros didn't know what to answer. He wasn't sure if it was just his imagination or not.

"I feel...really tired," he answered hesitantly.

"That's good," she whispered. Yuzuriha placed her hands on his shoulders and laid him back on the couch and she continued humping him. She moved her hips in a circular motion, watching Defteros's facial expression change.

"You're...so warm." he gasped.

Yuzuriha leaned down and licked his ear feeling his bulge growing bigger and harder under his pants. "Is that so," She began kissing his neck slowly and then proceeded to nibble on his ear lobe. Defteros closed his eyes and moaned softly. She worked on unbuttoning his shirt and once it was undone, she pulled it down his arms and tossed it aside.

She moaned softly when she let her hands wander around his chest, touching his smooth skin gently. His muscular frame was firm and fit, just like how she imagined a warrior would look. She ran her hand along the top of his abdomen, feeling his six-pack and then traced his abs downwards, feeling his muscles tighten. His body looked like it was sculpted in a perfect form, with no ounce of fat anywhere on his body. Defteros shuddered at the touch of her fingertips, causing her to smile seductively.

She leaned down to run her tongue over his left nipple, watching his eyelids close as he moaned softly. Her tongue circled his nipple, and then she suckled on it, drawing out a low moan from Defteros. She repeated this several times, making sure that both nipples got equal attention. She let her hands roam down his stomach and unzipped his pants. She immediately reached for his cock, which was already erect and growing harder by the second. It was a nice size, larger than average. Yuzuriha stroked his shaft and smiled.

After a while, she decided to see if he could handle more stimulation. She moved back to his left nipple and sucked on it again, not taking her eyes off his. She repeated the process until he moaned loudly. She then moved back to his right nipple and did the same thing. Defteros groaned, laying his head back as he enjoyed the sensation of her lips sucking on his nipples.

With one hand still stroking his cock, she took her other hand and started touching his stomach and chest, feeling his hard muscles. She was amazed at how strong and masculine he looked. Yuzuriha could not take her eyes off him, watching his every move. His reactions were arousing, making her want to do even more to him. Her hands moved harder and faster on his cock, causing Defteros's moans to grow louder and harder.

'This man...the way he reacts to me, the look on his face... I love it.' Yuzuriha thought to herself as she played with his nipples. 'He's going to make such a delicious meal,' She moved her mouth down his body, stopping at his navel, where she kissed it repeatedly and then moved down further. Was he that seriously helpless to stop her?

She blushed with a smirk on her face admiring his cock. She took his cock into her mouth and began sucking it. Defteros sat up immediately and stared at her in shock. He attempted to push her away, but Yuzuriha held onto his thighs, preventing him from moving.

"You can't sit still, can you? You are more difficult to handle than I originally thought," she said, going back to sucking his cock. Unbelievable, he thought. A random stranger is giving him a blowjob! His mind was reeling, unable to comprehend what was happening.

"N-No...not like this..." he gasped.

"Doesn't it feel good?" Yuzuriha asked, looking up at him.

"It does...but...I don't know...this isn't right...!" he responded.

'What is he saying?' Yuzuriha thought to herself, not understanding why he was turning her down. She did get annoyed with him, though, as he was making her work harder than usual. She removed her mouth from his cock and stood up.

'Let's end this now,' Yuzuriha thought to herself as she pulled her panties down her legs and stepped out of them. Defteros blushed even more as he saw her lift her dress up and exposing her lower part of her body. She grabbed his hand and placed it against her pussy. She felt his fingers against her wet slit and moaned.

'Yes, that's it,' She smiled to herself as he pressed against her clit, causing her to moan louder. This is something new to him, she could tell. He didn't know how to play with her properly. Yuzuriha pulled his hand away and sat on top of him, guiding his cock inside her.

"Yes, just like that," She moaned, removing her hand from his cock and wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head against his shoulder. She closed her eyes and moaned softly, enjoying the feeling of his cock inside her.

Defteros gasped as he felt her tight pussy squeezing his cock. He had never felt anything quite like it before. It was so tight, yet moist and wet. There was no resistance; it was as if he was sinking into a warm pool of water. The sensation was overwhelming to him. Never did he ever foresee that he would lose his virginity in this manner, getting a blowjob and sex at the same time. Yuzuriha bit her lip at the size of his cock inside her. Every movement felt like he was hitting a wall.

'Just go easy with him,' she thought to herself. 'He doesn't have any experience,'

Now here comes the fun part, building up his sexual energy. The higher the energy he has, the better it will be when she feeds from it. Most demons would collect the soul after sex, but there was no time for that. Yuzuriha was supposed to return to the dreamworld 3 hours ago. Honestly, she thought she could make a quick snack out of this guy and then leave, but he ended up being difficult. Right now, she wasn't that focused on her pleasure; it was his that she needed to focus on. She sat up, pulling the dress down to let her breasts bounce free. His eyes widened as she started bouncing on his cock, fucking him slowly. He looked down at her, seeing her big tits moving up and down, bouncing with each thrust. His cock was already soaked, and she continued to ride him. If she kept this up, he might come quickly. He couldn't hold back any longer.

He was close, and now was the perfect opportunity to steal his energy. She leaned closer to his face and kissed him on the lips, pushing her tongue into his mouth. She sucked on his tongue and continued to kiss him. He gasped and groaned into her mouth as she continued to fuck him. His hands gripped her hips tightly as he moaned into her mouth. Yuzuriha pulled back slightly, watching his soul getting sucked into her. It was pretty strong, she noticed. His hands were shaking as he tried to prevent himself from coming.

'That's it. You're almost there,' she thought to herself. She slowed her movements once again and kissed him deeply, stealing more and more of his energy. She could feel his energy getting stronger, and she was able to hold onto it easily. He was like a fountain of energy, and she wanted to drink as much of it as possible. Once he came, she finally obtained all of his energy. She smirked to herself and got off his cock, watching his cum leaking out of her pussy.

"Hahaha, you really are delicious. I'm glad I decided to feed from your energy," she said, smiling happily at what she thought was a lifeless body when she felt Defteros strongly grab onto her arm. Her eyes widened in shock to see that he was still alive. She looked over at him, and his eyes were purple; his lower belly suddenly had a pink glowing light. A demon mark appeared on his lower half, wings sprouted out of his back, and horns and a tail appeared. He smiled, showing his fangs with Yuzuriha staring at him in fear. A demon mark, this was a bad sign for her, and she felt herself being thrown against the couch. Defteros smirked at her with lust in his eyes. He spread her legs wide and inserted his cock back inside her pussy. Yuzuriha gritted her teeth in pain as he pushed his cock deep into her.

"Ah!" She cried out loudly as he thrust his cock hard into her pussy. He grabbed her hips and began to move faster and harder into her.

'This can't be happening; how did I not know,' Yuzuriha thought, fighting against him. Yuzuriha looked at his mark glow brighter, and hers started reacting as well. The marks were now glowing blue, which meant that they were connected. This was bad for her. If they were connected, then she wouldn't be able to control or stop him, but worse, she would fall pregnant. She knew exactly how dangerous that would be, as well as he'll be able to drain her energy so easily because of the connection. Now she really tried hard to sever the bond between them.

The bond was too strong, though. Yuzuriha could feel her energy draining through her body and was unable to stop it. She tried desperately to think of some way to get rid of him, but her mind was blank. All she could do was watch as he fucked her. Yuzuriha closed her eyes as she felt his cock hit her cervix. She gasped and held onto the couch, trying to control her breathing, her chest heaving up and down.

"You wanted my energy, didn't you?" Defteros asked with a smirk. "Well, you can have it,"

Yuzuriha teared up, feeling him almost release his load. His tail was a dead giveaway, seeing it swish back and forth. Defteros made sure that she was stuck underneath him, the light glowing brighter than ever before. Yuzuriha finally had enough, and she punched him in the face distracting him before pushing him back with her feet. Defteros stumbled back, and he glared at Yuzuriha. He growled at her, and his hands turned into claws as he lunged forward. Yuzuriha tried to dodge him, but his claw cut through her leg, causing her to scream in pain. He stopped moving and stared at her with a cruel grin on his face.

Yuzuriha fell to her knees and screamed in pain. Defteros smiled wickedly at her and slowly approached her. "I bet you didn't expect that did you?" he asked with a smile on his face. "It seems that it's time for me to finish what I started,"

Defteros got down on his knees and parted her legs. Yuzuriha tried to stand up, but her leg didn't work properly.

"I'll make this quick," he whispered as he grabbed her chin and forced her to look into his eyes. How foolish she was to think that she could escape him. You can never escape an incubus the moment they are bonded. They will always find their way back to you no matter where in the world you might be. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered,

"You should know better than to steal another demon's energy," His voice sounded dark and sinister. "Now you're going to pay for it,"

The only thing she could do was let him do whatever he pleased. Otherwise, he might report her to the Council for breaking the rules.

Yuzuriha swung a strong kick to the tree, watching it fall to the ground. She watched the stump for a while and sighed. She screamed at the top of her lungs and shot multiple blasts of wind towards the sky. Looking at the damage around her, she was so angry and frustrated that she had allowed another demon to break her. The fact that he was a powerful incubus also made her even more pissed off. Why hadn't she known? How come she didn't sense another demon here in the human realm?

She took her anger out on the forest and destroyed everything she saw. Destruction seemed to calm her down after a while. After destroying half of the forest, she calmed down and looked up at the night sky. There was no way of returning to the dream world now. Defteros took about 80% of her energy, leaving her drained and weak. He was generous enough to leave her with 20% of her energy. That was probably for the best. Without that, she would have been in serious trouble.

Even though she was left with a small amount of energy, she still needed to get out of the human realm. Yuzuriha used her remaining power to teleport herself away from the area, but the portal rejected her. She tried repeatedly, but her magic kept failing each time. One theory that came to mind was that Defteros had tampered with the magic so that she couldn't leave. However, she wasn't sure if that was true. It was possible that he was doing his job as a demon. He had taken her energy, and she owed him.

She sighed and sat on one of the fallen trees. Yuzuriha looked at her wings and sighed. She missed her friends and the city of eternal night. The concept of sleep doesn't exist for demons in the dream world. They thrived without any sleep. They don't need it, and they could go without it. Her mind kept going back to that moment between her and Defteros. All in all, there could be possibility of her being wrong and that Defteros didn't even know that he was an Incubus. The way he behaved around her was completely different from how she expected him to act. A theory she had in mind was that he must be an offspring of a human and a demon. It would explain why she couldn't pick up on his demonic aura. Yuzuriha stood up and dusted herself off and regained her composure...well, some of it and sprouted out her wings and took flight to find the cambion.

Defteros took many sleeping pills, but no ounce of sleep was coming to him. His brain was too wired, and he couldn't get any rest. He did everything that could tire him out, such as reading boring stuff, watching movies, and even exercising his body, but nothing helped. Eventually, he got tired of staring at the ceiling and got out of bed and went straight to his bathroom. He took a shower and cleaned himself up and when he finished that he went to the balcony. He watched the night sky and the crickets chirping.

His thoughts wandered back to Yuzuriha. He remembered greeting her and following her to the exit of the building, but he had no memory after that. It was strange how he found himself passed out on the floor at his workplace, butt naked. Defteros had a lot of speculations that Yuzuriha must have done something to him. How she did it was a mystery since he never drank any form of alcohol or took any drugs. It pissed him off to think that she had tricked him somehow. Well, the good thing is, is that she didn't rob him of his money or any other personal items. If anything, he woke up feeling so energetic that he wanted to run around and burn off excess energy.

"If only I can meet her again," he said to himself and from out the distance, he saw something flying towards him at high speed. He couldn't make it out on what it was, but he felt a strong kick on his chest that sent him flying into the wall. A huge dent formed on the drywall where he hit.

"What the hell!" Defteros exclaimed, and he rubbed his chest. He stopped rubbing his chest and stared at Yuzuriha, who stood in front of him in her succubus form.

"We need to talk,"
