Chapter 1
This takes place after the Saiorag Bael Battle, and the rest of the canon story will happen later, so bear with me. The fight will still have occurred, but Issei was given an excellent reason to leave Kuoh Academy for a while, and let's say he's got an opportunity at the Academy he's going to.
"How to set up a peerage," Issei said as he read a book while riding a bus to his temporary new school. Some might ponder why the Red Dragon Emperor is leaving his old school and going to a new one, but there's a story behind that.
Issei is being sent to Yokai Academy under the request of the current Yokai Leader Yasaka, who has been getting messages from the faculty that sure students and teachers are not maintaining the central teachings of the school: To prepare young monsters to live peaceful lives within the human world however not all demons like the idea of living with humans since many of them believe humans are weak creatures who should bow to them, similar to most of the other factions due to their Pride. And so, Issei was sent to be both Yasaka and the Three Factions' eyes and ears of the Academy; he is also given full permission to defend himself if any students get too rowdy.
Issei, at first, didn't like the idea of being away from the ORC for too long, even after the fight they had in the clubroom. Still, Issei was somewhat satisfied to find out that he was only staying at Yokai Academy for two semesters and would be allowed to return to Kuoh afterward.
Issei still said goodbye to his family and some of his friends, but he wasn't surprised to see the ORC, excluding Rossweiss. I didn't show up to see him off but was surprised by an unknown person coming with him.
"I believe this is a good opportunity for you to scout out potential members to join your Peerage since those old coots finally gave you the rank you deserve after all you've done." Ravel Phoenix, Queen of Issei Hyoudou's peerage, said as Issei pondered the idea of having some potential peerage members join him since he would like to have a good team that he can trust so he had a checklist on who he would recruit for his peerage.
"You do make a point, Ravel. This could be an excellent opportunity for us, but are you sure you okay coming with me to the school?" Issei asked, as he knew Ravel wanted to go to Kuoh Academy before the Phoenix Heiress waved off his concern.
"It's fine. I said I would be out for family business, so it's no problem. Plus, the classes were already boring, and the people were too annoying, always telling me the same thing every. Single. Day." Ravel groaned as she rubbed her forehead, recalling the girls in her class trying to 'protect' her from Issei due to his old reputation, even though Issei was doing better and had not been a pervert for the past few months.
"Honestly, it irritates me how those girls pretended to think they knew you just because of the rumors, but if only they get to know you first," Ravel said as she hated the fact that Issei held back his strength from asserting his power but knowing Issei for so long, she knew full well that Issei wasn't the type of person to abuse his ability to make himself seem like how Riser used to be before Issei bested him in combat.
"Now, don't worry, Ravel. I know fitting into a new environment is a bit difficult for anyone, and trust me, this is coming from the human who was killed by a Fallen, resurrected by a Devil, and was able to fight some of the strongest people in the world that most would think is a fantasy world." Issei said as he reassured Ravel before the Phoenix Heiress smiled at her King and soon-to-be lover and laid her head on his shoulder.
"I know, and I'm glad I got to meet you so I could get to know you more," Ravel said as she and Issei were in a relationship. However, due to the argument with Issei and the other ORC, their words still hurt him and drove a wedge between the females of the ORC and the Red Dragon Emperor, so Ravel was there to help him pick up the pieces and slowly heal his heart with her love and affection.
Eventually, after Issei became a King and passed the exam, he officially made Ravel Phoenix his first peerage member, not as a Bishop but as the Queen who was there at his side and someone he knew he could trust with his life.
This surprised the Underworld as Ravel gladly accepted the role, and they became inseparable as they slowly became a couple and went on beautiful dates together. This made the girls envy Issei as they were slowly rebuilding the trust between them and Issei after what occurred. It's gradually getting better, but like that old saying, trust is like a bride because it takes a long time to build but is so quick to tear it down.
The bus driver was smiling at the two as he could tell that the two kids were special and that they might be able to help the young monsters learn that not all humans are imperfect and that it would be good to live in peace with them rather than abuse their power to try and make them suffer due to the humans having Sacred Gears and being able to defend themselves against arrogant monsters like the ones that are in charge of the Academy.
"Heh. Lady Yasaka picked a good kid as the representative, that's for sure, since I got a good feeling about the future of this Academy. Hopefully, Yasaka will finally kick out some of the faculty since most have let too many 'incidents' slide for too long." The Bus Driver said as he trusted Yasaka's leadership skills and her reasons for wanting to open the Academy to help the young monsters understand that not all humans are evil like the ones in Khaos Brigade or the Hero Faction.
As they approached the school, Issei and Ravel's chat was interrupted by the bus honking its horn. The driver looked at him and smiled. "Welcome to Youkai Academy, kids. I hope you are ready."
"I hope so. I'm surprised you don't mind that I'm a Devil. I've heard that most monsters fear Devils and despise their servants since most are human." Issei said as he heard rumors from the lower-class devils about how others treated them like garbage.
"Heh. Trust me, kid. I've driven this bus to and from the Human World with all sorts of people, and Kuoh Academy is the pansy version of this Academy. This one lets you get tough instead of being forced to do ridiculous things, such as sipping tea all day or doing mundane tasks. Trust me, you'll get some good members for your peerage while you are here at this school, but a fair warning. Be prepared to fight and kill. This school is a school for monsters, and there are incidents where students are killed, so be cautious of who's around you, but you just might find your peerage members. Good luck, kid. Not that you'll need it."
Issei and Ravel nodded and thanked the driver for his advice as they got their bags and went to their new Academy, but as they were walking to their new school, he pondered how things were in Kuoh Town. "I do wonder who'll take my place in Rias Peerage?"
"Hah! I wouldn't worry much about it since you are no longer Rias's Pawn."
"Yeah, that's true, but I am concerned since the strongest ones besides me were Kiba, Rossweiss, and Xenovia. Gasper's training has been helping his confidence, but it's mostly Rias and the other girls who aren't as strong as they think."
Issei knows he's not part of the Gremory Peerage anymore, but he is concerned about Rias and the others who relied solely on their magic and weren't that good in combat.
However, his train of thought was interrupted by a force hitting his back, which worried Ravel as she rushed toward Issei.
"Issei, are you okay?" Ravel said as she inspected his back before getting a thumbs up, which made the Phoenix smile before she looked at the bike rider that crashed into her King and marched towards her.
"What the hell were you doing? Weren't you paying attention to where you were going, or were you born this way?" Ravel demanded as the said rider was revealed to be a pink-haired girl with light green eyes.
The rider was then apologizing to Ravel, bowing to her. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I should've watched where I was going. Please forgive me."
Issei slowly got up and walked over to save the poor girl from Ravel ranting as he tried to calm Ravel down. That was until he saw a cross on her chest that seemed to give off a strange aura.
"Hey, are you possibly a part of the Holy Faction? It's just that the cross is a bit off since it's giving off some strange aura." Issei asked while the pinkette raised a brow until she saw what Issei was pointing at.
"Oh no, this isn't a cross. It's a Rosario. It's an heirloom from my mother." The girl explained as Issei and Ravel looked at it in interest as they could tell it was in fine condition.
"I see. It's just that it seemed to give off a strange aura." Issei said as the girl was interested in that, he could see it due to her other side.
"Oh, are you a monster that can see aura, like a Kitsune?" Issei looked at her for a moment with surprise before Ravel burst out laughing, which surprised the girl as Issei explained who he was.
"No. No. I was a human. Well, I was a human until I died." The girl was shocked until she caught something.
"Wait, you were a human? Then what are you?"
Issei was surprised by her question and sudden interest before he summoned the Boosted Gear and his wings. "I'm Issei Hyoudou. The Red Dragon Emperor of this generation. This is Ravel Phoenix, my Queen, and you are?"
The girl's eyes turned to stars when she heard the name and asked. "You're the Red Dragon Emperor?! Oh my gosh, I'm such a huge fan!"
Issei blinked in shock before asking her. "Y-You are?"
The girl's eyes brightened as she held his hands in hers and nodded in joy. "I saw your fight against Riser and thought you were almost beaten, but when I saw that smirk, I knew you had a plan all along."
She then dug into her bag and pulled a picture of him in his Scale Mail. "Please autograph this!" Issei was caught off guard since he expected this from someone like Gasper but someone close to his age. "Sure, but I need a pen." Moka provided him with one, and he signed it.
"Please sign this 'To My Favorite Vampire, Moka.'" The girl, now named Moka, said as Issei nodded while signing.
At Kuoh Academy, Gasper felt an ominous force outside the school. 'Did someone say they're a bigger fan than me of Hyoudou-Senpai? Oh, it's in when I find out who they are.'
Also, there was another student who was attending Youkai Academy. She was shocked to sense someone was thinking they were a bigger fan than her. '...Someone is threatening to take my place in his peerage." The girl said as she continued making a sculpture of the one she admired. "I do hope he likes it."
Anyway, back to the trio!
"I can't wait to show this to my family, especially Shiro. She's an admirer of yours as well!" Moka said as she put the poster in her bag while Issei chuckled in amusement at the energetic girl.
"Well, I'm happy to be of service now. May I have your name?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Moka Akashiya, and it's nice to meet you!"
"Likewise, Moka and I think we all should get moving. Wouldn't wanna be late on the first day, right?" Ravel said as Moka looked at her watch and gasped at the time.
"Oh my goodness, you're right! Let's hurry!" Moka shouted as she suddenly rushed off without her bike. Issei sighed as he grabbed Moka's bike and let Ravel sit on the back, leaning on his back before he rode off after her.
"Hey, Moka. Wanna ride?" Issei asked while Moka's embarrassment amused Ravel until she got on, and the three rode together.
Moka was amazed that Issei seemed skilled in riding the bike while Ravel enjoyed the breeze as they made their way to the school. Once at the school entrance, they were greeted by a girl at the said entrance who was dealing with a troublesome fellow.
The fellow had a gold sword in his hand, while the girl had a staff as she faced him. "Starting a fight on the first day of school. Are you trying to be suspended or expelled?"
The man laughed. "Of course not, but the best way to test my strength to become a Maou is to face strong opponents like you." He swung his sword, and as it neared the girl, she closed her eyes and braced for impact.
"ASCALON!"
The two were shocked to see a new student block the sword with little to no effort, but what surprised them the most was the gauntlet on his left arm.
Issei turned to him and smiled. "Now I think that was very rude of you, wouldn't you say? Not the best way to make a good first impression."
The Devil leaped away with his sword and smiled at the new challenger. "Finally. I had heard of the Red Dragon coming here after he became a King when he defeated the Bael King and left that weak Gremory girl. I never liked her since I don't see her as a King. In my eyes, Rias Gremory is just a little girl."
"Be that as it may, I believe you were causing trouble, so can I have the name of the Devil whose ass I'm about to knock to next week?" Issei asked as the Devil laughed at the question and nodded.
"You are right. True Warriors always introduce themselves first before a battle. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Sabnock Sabro. Heir of the Sabnock Family and I plan to rise and become a Super Devil one day and stand by the other Maous to better the Underworld for those abused by its system." Sabnock said as Issei was somewhat surprised by this before nodding in reply.
"My name is Issei Hyoudou. It was a pleasure to meet you, though from what I've heard, the Sabnock Clan had gone extinct. I was told Misteeta Sabnock was the last of them." Issei said in reply while Sabnock laughed at him.
"Don't kid me. That Bishop in the Bael peerage is nothing but a mage who was taken in when my father saw his potential. And my clan isn't extinct. It's still active, but unlike the other houses like the Gremory, Sitri, or the Astaroth clan, we had to train our whole lives since our bloodline magic relies on metal and pure strength." Sabnock said as he gestured to his necklace.
"Let's see if you can guess what it is," Sabnock said before Issei had a pondering face on him before guessing.
"If I'm going to guess...Polarity?"
"Heh. No." He bit the silver bit on his necklace, and a silver sword appeared in his hand. Issei was shocked to see this until Sabnock charged at him and swung it, but compared to the others, he fought.
'His moves are sloppy and slow. He mostly relies on overpowering his opponents with his weapons instead of using strategy or magic. I can see the difference since the Bael Bishop uses a Sealing Type magic to make sure his enemies can't use their abilities.' Issei said in his mind as he dodged the other swings.
Sabnock was shocked when Issei pushed his sword away and disarmed him. The sword flew into the air until it hit the ground.
"I understand now. Your bloodline magic seems to allow you to make weapons, but they differ in power depending on the metal. That's your special magic, correct?" Sabnock and Issei looked at each other, creating a tense atmosphere.
Sabnock grinned before he began to laugh. "You got that right, kid! While Misteeta focuses on magic, he uses his bloodline only for emergencies due to his flawless control." Issei didn't know what Misteeta Sabnock looked like since he wasn't part of that battle. Still, judging by how Xenovia described him, he was secretly hoping he wasn't a girly-looking boy like Gasper (not that he didn't like his little brother figure, but it was a real shock when he leaned Gasper was a dude instead of a girl).
Sabnock then willed his sword away before he offered a hand to him. "This fight shows that I need to improve. If you want, I'd be honored if you would train with me. We can help each other; fighting with you, my rival, would be fun. Heh." Sabnock said as he finished his talk with a toothy grin.
Issei looked at the Devil and admired him a bit before he nodded as he shook the hand. "Likewise, Sabro, but we might have a bigger problem."
The two then looked to see a blond-haired man with a squad behind him. "My, my. Such disgusting violence on the first day, no less. May I ask who started this fight?"
Issei could see that he was necessary at the school, given that the others were wary of him, but a few seemed to be traumatized or fearful of him. 'What's with them? Who is this guy?'
The blonde guy looked at Issei and was surprised at his appearance before bowing slightly to him. "Ah, forgive me of my manners. My name is Kuyo. I'm the head of the Public Safety Committee at Yōkai Academy and a member of the Youkai Faction."
"Issei Hyoudou, current generation Red Dragon Emperor, a human, Devil and Dragon hybrid. And there was no bloodshed if that's what you're worried about. Sabnock here was only interested in my skills." Issei said as he was a bit put off by Kuyo since the Youkai radiated arrogance and Pride. 'Plus, this guy may be a Youkai, but his power is far inferior to the likes of Yasaka and even Kunou.'
Kuyo looked at Sabro before smiling. "I'm afraid he still must be punished." Sabro was sent flying to the wall, and it made an impressive hole on impact. He spat out some blood and fell before coughing.
Issei ran to him and helped him up. "Hey, you good? Here, let me help."
[Boost! Transfer!]
Sabro felt his strength returning as he looked at Issei. "We only just met, and you are helping me? But why? Other devils abandon others to save themselves."
Issei didn't answer him as he turned to Kuyo and gave him a look that scared the Youkai. Issei's eyes were glowing green, his teeth sharp and bare, and he let out a violent snarl. "Give me one second, Sabro. It appears someone needs to learn their place in this world."
The girl Issei helped earlier stood between them as Issei was about to strike Kuyo. "I'm sorry, but this isn't allowed."
"Oh, and sending Sabnock into a wall and coughing up blood is allowed?" Issei asked as the girl kept a calm gaze on him but showed signs of fear as sweat dripped from her forehead.
"The Public Safety Committee is allowed to take any measure to punish those who break the rules, which in this case was merely light." The girl said Issei could see why Yasaka sent him to the Academy.
Issei let out an irritated snarl until Ravel suddenly pulled him away. When Issei was about to ask what she was doing, Ravel only shook her head, which made him then look around at the other students, who were scared of what was about to happen until Issei looked at Ravel for a moment as she didn't say anything, but her eyes sent the message.
Issei took a deep breath before his eyes turned to normal and looked back at the girl before him. "May I learn your name?"
The girl let out a sigh of relief as she was glad a fight didn't occur since she was well aware of who she was standing in front of and understood his reasons for wanting to attack Kuyo, but she knew it would cause trouble for the school if he did it on the first day.
"Ruby. Ruby Tojo. Now, please, let's continue this day. It is the first day of our classes, so please head to your home rooms. Issei, I'll be taking Sabnock with me." Issei gave him to Ruby, who helped him to the nurses' office.
"Get well, Sabnock," Issei said as Sabnock gave him a nod and a wave before the two departed. Ravel and Issei went to their homeroom, and their classmates were very rambunctious until they caught sight of Issei.
"No way the Issei Hyoudou and Ravel Phoenix?"
"No way?"
"I want to meet them."
"Out of my way! I want to join his peerage!"
Issei was shocked by the students until their teacher got in front of the class.
"Now, all of you calm down. It's their first day, and you are making them nervous with the sudden bombardment of questions. Everyone can ask him questions during his introduction. Lord Hyoudou. Lady Phoenix. Please wait outside until I call you."
Issei and Ravel nodded before Moka went in, and she smiled at him. "For what it's worth, I think what you did was noble."
She then left them both as Issei was thankful for meeting her. 'I can see why she's a vampire. Beautiful and very kind. Sort of like Rias, but something is different about her. She's not like Gasper and other vampires, so what's so special about that Rosary, and why is she wearing it!'
Ravel could tell that Issei was curious about the vampire, which made her look at their teacher, and she was surprised to see that their teacher had cat ears, which she thought was cute before the class began.
"Hello, class. As you know, we have two exceptional students joining us today. You may come in now, Lord Hyoudou! Lady Phoenix!"
Issei and Ravel then walked in and saw that many of the monsters were interesting until Ravel began to file her nails while Issei looked at them all. "Pleasure to meet you all. I am Issei Hyoudou. A third year and the Red Dragon Emperor. This is Ravel Phoenix. My Queen, second in command of my peerage, and the one person I trust with my life. It's a pleasure to meet you all. Do you have any questions you would like to ask us?"
Everyone raised their hands, making a bead of sweat run down Issei's head. 'Me and my big mouth.'
[Comes with the territory of having a solid reputation given your achievements.] Ddraig said that he knew that others would want to ask his partner for a chance to prove themselves so they could join his peerage.
Oh, only if they knew about Ravel's strict requirements to have them join the peerage since Issei may allow them to be interviewed by him, but it's Ravel who makes the final call.
Luckily, their teacher stopped them as she calmed them down. "I will allow only five questions since we need to start homeroom, so Lord Hyoudou and Lady Phoenix, please pick five people, and only they can ask questions now. The others can do it later. Now, who's first?"
"That works for us, but please call us by our names. Lord and Lady get a bit stuffy after a while." Issei said as Ravel nodded in agreement because she saw that the teacher was doing her job but played the role of the suck-up teacher.
Luckily for them, Issei decided to pick Moka first.
"Your question, Moka?"
"Yes! I want to ask because I have experience attending a human school but had trouble fitting in, so I want to know what it is like being with the humans since you are not one anymore?"
Others were moaning about this until Issei quieted them down. "I think that's fair since I was a human before becoming a Devil."
Others were shocked by his acceptance of the question until Issei responded to Moka's question. "If I'm honest, I didn't have the best reputation at my school. I was a bit of an idiot when I was a Devil. I couldn't even use a basic teleportation circle, but that didn't stop me. I wasn't skilled in magic like Rias Gremory or Akeno-san—swordsmanship like Kiba. Strength like Koneko, heck Asia, and Gasper were more skilled than me in healing magic or regular magic, but I still pushed myself to get stronger. Most humans don't know of the supernatural world unless someone is interested in them. So I'll say this. Humans are good and bad. We're not perfect, but that doesn't mean all humans are 'evil' or 'untrustworthy'. Especially those idiots in the Hero Faction who are more of a Devil than human. It just means you haven't found the right ones. Trust me, I should know." Moka was amazed by the answer as she wrote it down while Ravel was proud of her King and lover before Moka smiled at them.
"Thank you." Issei nodded to her as Ravel looked into the audience and asked.
"Anyone else?"
A purple-haired girl raised her hand, but everyone seemed surprised to see her in class.
"Oh, Ms. Mizore, seeing you in class is quite surprising." Mizore ignored the teacher, though; her eyes were only on Issei and Ravel.
Mizore didn't say anything as she looked at him and brought out an ice sculpture of him with the Boosted Gear summoned and Ravel at his side with her wings out. "It isn't a question, but I was wondering if you would accept this gift from me."
Issei and Ravel were amazed by the sculpture and admired its design. "That's amazing. You could get into the sculpture business and make a fortune from your craftsmanship."
Mizore blushed at the praise as the two accepted the sculpture she had made of them. "Thank you Mizore-San. We'll be sure to take good care of it."
She put it on his desk, and Issei asked the class. "Anyone else? Remember, only three left."
Issei looked around and saw someone raise his hand, making the Dragon frown. 'Oh Maou, this guy reminds me of Riser. Let's hope he's not as arrogant as he is. Okay, I just realized that's just wishful thinking.'
The guy was sneering at him and chuckled. "You are not one of us, so why don't you leave and don't embarrass yourself? I mean, how can a human even know what we go through? You might be okay with us, but that's because you like us now. Would you have accepted us if you were still human?" The teacher tried to stop him, but Issei allowed it.
Ravel looked ready to incinerate the fool for mocking her King until Issei stopped her. Issei then thought for a moment and responded. "Yes, and since you seem so curious, I'll tell you this."
Issei raised his aura as he gave the guy a terrifying glare, which made the whole class, excluding Ravel, shiver at the intense power from the Red Dragon Emperor. "I was killed by a fucking Fallen Angel, so I never asked to be a Devil. I was dragged into the supernatural by my ankles, unlike you, who probably thinks you're high and mighty, but let me tell you that you're not even an actual threat."
The guy was still struggling to stand as he could feel the eyes directed at him alone before the fool Saizo looked at the image of a Dragon King appearing behind Issei. His mind screamed at his body to run, but he couldn't move as his ears heard Issei continue.
"So let's get one thing straight. Try and piss me off or harm Ravel and you'll see what happens when I'm mad. You wouldn't like me when I'm mad." Issei said as he reeled in his aura while Saizo's instincts told him to shut up, but his Pride bested logic.
"Then I challenge you to a fight, you spoiled brat!" Saizo screamed as Issei, Ravel, and the class looked at him before Issei grew a sadistic smile.
"Very well then, I accept. We have combat classes here, so let's settle it there. But on one condition." Issei said as Saizo looked at him and asked.
"What's that? You scared I'll embarrass you?"
"No. This battle shall be one to the death unless the other surrenders." Issei said as his teeth were sharp, and he smiled sadistically. In contrast, the other classes gasped since it wasn't uncommon for monsters in the combat arena to challenge others to death, but those were very rare since most of the time, the only ones that happened were where Kuyo came out victorious in all of them with ease.
Saizou was intimidated by the look on Issei's face, and Issei could smell the arrogant fool's fear. 'Wow, it seems Akeno has taught me well.' Issei said as Saizo agreed to the terms as the teacher marked it and made a note to inform the combat instructor. Issei then calmed down while Ravel looked at the audience.
"Anyone else who isn't an idiot? Only two left." Ravel said as a few hands were still up. Ravel then pointed to one. The hand belonged to a buxom blue-haired beauty as she smiled at them.
"Why yes. My name is Kurumu, and I would like to offer my services as a member of your peerage." Kurumu said as the class was shocked by the bold question before Ravel looked at the girl and scoffed at her.
"Do you even know how to fight? This isn't some club you join and leave whenever you want, plus I highly doubt you are strong enough even to match me." Ravel said as she could tell the girl was a Succubus and wouldn't let some leech seduce her King and boyfriend like he was some trophy for her.
"Oh, I can assure you that I may not be strong when it comes to combat, but what I lack in power, I make up with my skills."
"You mean your skills at seducing or spreading your legs for any man?" Ravel asked as many girls gasped at this while Issei sighed as he could see where this was going.
"I would never allow myself to become a submissive bitch for just anyone. We Succubus only choose who makes our heart resonate, and for me, it's him that makes me want to join him." Kurumu said as she flew towards Issei and placed his hand on her bust where he was before Issei could see that her heart was beating the same way he used to for Raynare before he moved on.
Issei and Ravel looked at each other momentarily before the Red Dragon Emperor spoke to Kurumu.
"We'll let you know in a week. Is that good?" Issei asked as Kurumu smiled while the other females were in shock. Ravel sent a smile at the Succubus and could tell that she underestimated the girl.
"Thank you, and I await your answer," Kurumu said as she returned to her desk before Issei looked around and asked.
"Anyone else? Last call before class begins." Issei said, as no one was coming forward after the last two questions.
"I believe that was all the questions, Sensei, so where shall we sit?" Issei asked as he was oblivious to how aroused most of the girls were in the class upon seeing the smile from earlier. Ravel chuckled as she could tell that dealing with them would be amusing.
She cleared her throat before panting at the side and nodded. "You can sit next to Mizore. She's right over there. Now then, class, let's begin with our lesson." Issei sat next to Mizore, was wary of the statue, and saw a note in it. He unwrapped it and read it.
'I would've liked to have met you before you became a Devil. From Mizore.'
Issei smiled at the Snow Woman before he and Ravel sat through the class, and the two had to admit that they were both amazed by the lessons and immensely enjoyed them. 'Aika's desire to be a principal of a school one day rubbed off on me.' He could still see her smiling at him and helping Asia. He was grateful but worried since he feared for Asia's purity when near Aika. 'I can't help but be worried about Asia. What if she becomes another Aika? My heart couldn't take it.'
Meanwhile, with Kuyo.
"Tch. The great Yasaka must be getting senile and weak if she had to be saved by a pathetic human and a few rats with wings. The Youkai Clan is to be feared and respected, and yet Yasaka allowed herself to be captured by pathetic humans and was saved by the Biblical Faction? How disappointing and shameful for the Youkai Leader. A leader must strike fear into the hearts of their people to make sure they follow orders and don't betray their master." Kuyo said as he was angered that the Red Dragon Emperor was in his territory and was sent to investigate the situation and Kuyo's methods.
"I'll prove that pathetic excuse of a leader that my method is superior to her way of ruling," Kuyo said as he pondered how to deal with the Red Dragon Emperor before recalling Issei's interest in women.
"Perhaps I can have Keito or some of the other women in the council get close and investigate Issei Hyoudou to find his weakness," Kuyo said as he was writing out his plan before the door opened to reveal a tall woman with long, wavy black hair that reached the bottom of her back.
Her eyes were crimson red like blood, and her attire wasn't exactly the school dress code since she looked like a gang leader but had a badge of the Public Safety Commission on the hat she wore on her head. She walked towards Kuyo and sat in front of the desk before putting her feet up on the desk.
"What do you want, Kuyo? I enjoyed beating the shit out of some arrogant first years." The woman said as Kuyo looked at the woman and knew fully about her interest in fighting.
"I know Daidouji, daughter of the Dragon King Tannin, but I need you to test the strength of a new student here to threaten the academy I rule," Kuyo said as Daidouji just picked the inside of her left ear before blowing it away.
"And I should care about the new student because?"
"His name is Issei Hyoudou, the Red Dragon Emperor, and his Queen, Ravel Phoenix, are here under orders of Yasaka herself," Kuyo said as Daidouji raised a brow of interest in this before looking at the file and smiling.
"So the Red Dragon Emperor is here? Oh, that'll be fun since I've been bored fighting those pathetic monsters who aren't even worthy of licking the dirt off my boots." Daidouji said that she had heard rumors of the Red Dragon Emperor but didn't believe them as much before her father spoke to her about having her possibly meet him. Still, she refused since she had no interest in a weakling, but now that he was here and much more potent than before, that aura spike earlier today was any indication he was strong enough to become a Dragon King.
"Then I take it I don't have to convince you to fight him? He's in a fight to the death with Saizo and-!" Kuyo said before a hand destroyed the desk as Daidouji stopped his sentence.
"Oh, you can leave him to me since I plan on making Saizo skip out today because he picks a fight with me. See you later, Kuyo." Daidouji said as she walked away from the Youkai before stopping at the door.
"Oh, if you try to bring innocent people into this school because you fear him." Daidouji slowly released her aura as she turned to look at Kuyo's scared face with a blood-red eye of hers. "Then you'll know why I'm the strongest of my siblings and can take the role of a Dragon King."
Daidouji then left as Kuyo slumped in his seat as he knew there were people in the school even he couldn't beat. Curse his Youkai pride as he recalls how terrifying the woman is when she's in a fight.
"I pray my school doesn't get destroyed when she fights him," Kuyo said as he knew that Daidouji's transfer was due to the girl picking fights with everyone and wanting to become stronger to defeat her father one day in the battle to take the role of the Dragon King, but after getting into so many fights with the nobles of the Devil Faction the girl's father sent her to the Academy to teach her some control, but that's why she joined the Public Safety Commission so she could have free reign to use her power to punish others.
Kuyo knew that the Dragon was far more powerful than him, so he feared what would happen if he lost his most potent weapon in the group.
"I need to show the boy I am not to be underestimated, that this is my territory, and that he's under my rules," Kuyo said as he prepared to deal with the results of Daidouji fighting Issei in the combat class.
Back to Issei.
It was now lunchtime. Issei and Ravel decided to explore the school more as Kurumu and Mizore joined them along with Moka on the rooftop.
"I'm honestly surprised that many of our classmates didn't try to follow you since many people were interested in joining your peerage when they learned that you have your own now," Kurumu said as Issei chuckled in response.
"Well, Ravel and I said that we would be open to interviewing them, but Ravel is the one who gives the final say since she is my second in command, and I desire those who I know I can trust to watch my back and hers as well," Issei said as he knew that many with power would jump at the opportunity. Still, he's the type who wishes to have those who are strong and loyal to the group and their leaders.
"Indeed. After the Ratings Game with the Bael Peerage, Issei became a High-Class Devil and his Evil Pieces. Shortly afterward, he asked Sirzechs to assist him in helping him become a great King, but unfortunately, Sirzechs was too busy, so Azazel volunteered to assist Issei instead. I went with him since he made me his Queen after two months of training."
"Wait, two months? What kind of training did you both get into?" Moka asked. The Rosary was glowing a bit, but this was unnoticed by the others as Issei explained it to them.
"Well, it was a lot of tasks that Azazel gave me and Ravel to do. Different kinds of missions and different monsters to fight. I think my most challenging one at first was fighting a massive Stone Golem without using my Balance Breaker." Issei said as he recalled the different tasks Azazel signed him up for and the times he helped out the Youkai, Greek, and Norse Factions on some missions.
"I did some training to improve myself in hand-to-hand, magic, and weapon training. I'm not a fighter like Issei, but I'm skilled in magic combat. For my weapon, that's a little secret." Ravel said with a giggle as Moka pouted at this.
"Oh, come on! Not even a little hint?"
"Nope!"
Moka pouted even more, making Ravel smirk at her before Issei looked at Mizore and could tell she was keeping her body at a moderate temperature thanks to the ice pack sitting on her head.
"Is it too hot outside today, Mizore? We can always go back inside to help you cool down."
"No. I'm fine, but I like to use my magic to ensure that my body's core temperature is stable. As a Snow Woman, I can stay in mildly warm areas, but I need to regulate my temperature in places like the desert or during summer." Mizore said as Issei was surprised by this since he had never met other types of Youkai or monsters, so seeing one in person was new to him.
"Alright then. At least let us know when you're too hot. That way, we can cool you down." Issei said as Mizore blushed but smiled in thanks before Kurumu looked at Issei and asked.
"Hey, were you serious about fighting Saizo and killing him?"
"...I have killed before, out of anger and when in control, but I refuse to kill unless necessary. Saizo believes he is a higher power like Kuyo, but outside of this Academy, far more powerful beings can easily destroy Saizo. He may think he's dangerous and strong, but he doesn't come close to the top hundred I fought in the supernatural world." Issei said as Kurumu was shocked by this before Ravel placed a comforting hand on his left hand, making Issei smile in thanks at the Phoenix.
"Thank you, Ravel."
"It is not a problem, Issei. I'll always be here to support you, no matter what." Ravel said as Issei sighed in relief as he relaxed while Kurumu could see the love and care between them.
On the other hand, Moka blushed a bit as she caught a delicious scent entering her nose, making her pant a bit while struggling to keep her mind in check. However, it seemed someone caught on to it.
"Do you need some blood, Moka? You look like your about to jump me." Issei said as Moka blushed at Issei's gaze before looking down while nodding. Issei then looked at Ravel, who nodded in response.
"Best you satisfy her desires before she tries to jump you," Ravel said as Issei nodded and lifted his left arm before summoning Ascalon and stabbing the palm of his hand, releasing the blood from within him.
Moka's eyes darkened as she smelled the blood and charged at him before using her tongue and fangs to drink the offering.
Kurumu and Mizore were surprised by this before Issei explained his reasons. "Back home, Gasper had issues controlling his power and learned that by drinking my blood, he can control his power and Sacred Gear, so I make sure to give him some of my blood every week to pacify his desires and bloodlust."
"Wait, does that mean that you-."
"Have a crush on Gasper? No. While I admit he passes as a girl, I treat him as a little brother." 'Even though I have caught him wanting to her closer to me and being a special person towards me, I don't have to tell her that.' Issei said as he continued lunch with the group before the next class was the magic class, which surprised Ravel and Issei before the teacher explained his intentions for the class.
"This class is designed to help students protect themselves from other creatures that may attack you in the real world outside of the Academy and your home. That is why today is your introduction class and the chance for some of you to get your familiars. Some of you won't get one, but it's not uncommon since the families are not your friends or comrades. They are wild beasts that can easily turn on you if they are not given respect. You'd be surprised how many people have died to their familiars or had not obtained one." The teacher said they were all shocked by this before the first half of the room began, which included Moka, Kurumu, and Mizore. Still, they could only obtain a familiar, except for Sabnock, as he could get a powerful beast.
A mutant-like beast called a Kelpie that he named Ohma. Its appearance was a mix of a horse and a fish, potentially enabling it to live on land and water. This green-colored familiar has two front limbs, two large fins across its back that act as wings, and a long tail fin. It has one large horn with several fangs attached to its mouth.
Issei was impressed by it, as the Kelpie seemed okay with Issei approaching it. Issei asked Sabnock to pet the familiar, which he didn't mind and was amazed by how the beast seemed to be okay with him.
Issei and his half of the class then went to do their familiars. They were surprised when he saw that Ravel already had a Fire Bird, which was similar to what Riser had and was a powerful comrade for her to use in battle, but hardly ever brought it out unless she needed an extra set of eyes.
Issei was the last one as he opened the gate to the Familiar Forest with the summoning seal, but the beast that came out was a horse that seemed to be a powerful creature, given that Issei heard its name and the fact it allowed him to ride upon the beast.
"I think I'll call you Entei. After the old legend of the demon horse. Do you like that?" Issei asked as the horse nodded and rubbed its head next to his, making Issei chuckle at the affectionate horse before Ravel congratulated him.
The rest of the class was for the type to bond with their familiars and get to know them, so Issei and Sabnock were trying to get to know their familiar as the Kelpie seemed to be accepting its master just as quickly as Entei did to Issei.
Ravel smiled at her King and his familiar while tending to the bird as she enjoyed feeding it some fire, which made the bird very happy.
And now it's Combat Class Time!
"Issei Hyoudou. You did request to fight Saizo in a battle of the death, so you'll be going first. When Saizo gets here, that is." The teacher said as Issei raised a brow at the lack of Saizo in the arena despite the boy wanting to take on the Red Dragon Emperor.
"Tch. If he drops out, there's no reason for me to wait. His brain probably finally kicked in and told him to run." Issei said as the door was opened to reveal Saizo as he came in with a few others behind him, which Issei recognized as Lizardmen.
They fit their description perfectly: They have dark green scales and slitted, yellow eyes. On top of their head was a spiny crest that came in different colors. Within their mouth is a significant asset of sharp teeth and a forked tongue that was likely used for smelling prey.
"Sorry for being late, but I decided to bring some friends," Saizo said as he transformed his body into his Orc form, which was more of a hulking beast with fangs and a long tongue.
Issei sighed as he sighed while looking a bit bored and disappointed by the group.
"So you finally show up, and these are the ones you bring? A few lizards teaming up with an ugly beast to take down a dragon?" Issei asked as some students laughed at the group while Saizo and the Lizardmen felt offended before Daidouji walked into the arena with the group and smiled at Issei.
"That's because I'll be fighting you as well. My name is Daidouji, daughter of the Dragon King Tannin." Daidouji said as Issei's eyes widened while smiling at this little detail.
"Well then. This just got more fun." Issei said as his eyes changed to that of a dragon while his claws and teeth sharpened and scales began to appear on his body, making him look like a humanoid dragon.
Daidouji smiled at this as the arena floated into the air to prevent any destruction to the school while the class could enjoy it. Daidouji and Issei didn't mind the change, but Saizo and the Lizardmen were a bit nervous as they could see the look in Issei's eyes before the bell was rung.
"Let the fight to the death begin!"
Issei then ran towards Daidouji and was about to punch her with a left hook before the girl used one of the Lizardmen as a meat shield while the poor lizard was sent flying out of the arena and back to the school.
"Tch. Guess I'll have to deal with your minions first." Issei said as he grumbled at the annoying pests before seeing the other two Lizardmen try to jump him. Issei could see them coming as he dodged their pathetic attack and punched them so hard in the stomachs that the poor lizards were down on all fours.
"W-What the heck is your skin made of?" One of the two Lizardmen asked as Issei rolled his eyes at the weakling before kicking them out of the arena and turned to Saizo as he was scared of how easily Issei defeated the Lizardmen Trio.
"D-Dammit! You don't scare me!" Saizo yelled as he charged at Issei and tried to slice his body, but Issei took them like a champion and didn't even flinch as these punches didn't even harm him.
Saizo continued his assault before panting as he stepped back to see the smoke clear, showing Issei unharmed and how he looked bored at the attempt to harm him.
"I-Impossible! How are you so strong for a human?! That's just not possible!"
"That's because I may have been born a human, but I'm a Diablo Dragon. A human reincarnated to be a Devil but also a Dragon. I've trained until my bones broke so often that they could take on more powerful attacks like Saiorag's punches. Your hits, however, are like air hitting me." Issei said as he raised his left arm and sent a punch toward the Orc, which scared Saizo as he felt the force behind it blasts him out of the arena, leaving just the two of them.
Daidouji laughed as she saw that it was just her and Issei. "I got to admit. I doubted you, Issei when my old man told me about you, but you aren't a pushover. I like that." Daidouji said as she locked her lips with her forked tongue before smiling as she let her dragon scales form on her body and her horns before breathing a fire so hot it impressed Issei.
"Now let's show these folks why dragons are the superior beasts in the supernatural world," Daidouji said as Issei smiled. He nodded in response before charging at her as Daidouji met Issei in the center of the arena to match his punch, which led to the two exchanging punches, kicks, claws, fangs, and even headbutts.
Issei was enjoying himself as he was fighting Daidouji, while Daidouji was amazed by Issei's power and that he hadn't even used the Boosted Gear yet as the two pushed each other away from the center.
"Heh. Not bad, Daidouji, but I'll show you how hard I worked." Issei said as he took a deep breath as a crimson red aura appeared around him.
"I got to thank Yasaka and Wukong-Sensei for the help with this technique," Issei said as Daidouji recognized the technique.
"Wait. Is that?"
"Sixth Gate of Joy: Open!" Issei said as he is hair horns stood up, becoming similar to devil horns. At the same time, he smiled in joy as he charged at Daidouji, who was smiling at this before her body was covered by a purple aura, before setting at Issei as the two began to clash even more, causing the ground around them to break before Daidouji punched Issei in the air as Issei then started to shoot fireballs at Daidouji with incredible speed as she took the attacks like a champ and continued flying towards Issei before she tackled him and sent the two of them into the ground.
The smoke cleared after a bit to show Issei and Daidouji were back to normal. Daidouji and Issei were now kissing each other while the lousy girl hat was on Issei's head, making the daughter of Tannin blush as she dreamed of meeting her mate like this.
The two separated as Issei and Daidouji looked at each other momentarily before Issei helped her up. The students were shocked at this before Daidouji smiled as she put her arms around Issei's neck.
"You are him. My destined mate." Daidouji said as she took her hat back and smiled at Issei before taking another kiss from him. Issei didn't seem to be fighting her as he kissed her back, his tail entwining her, making the Dragon smile. Issei's dragon side was screaming at him to dominate and mark this woman, so Issei did by biting her neck and vice versa.
The two dragons tasted each other's blood. Daidouji seemed to be enjoying it, as well as Issei, before the two separated. Daidouji then looked at the camera and could tell that the one she was eyeing gave her approval.
"I look forward to working with you, Ravel Phoenix," Daidouji said as the match ended with the two calling it a draw while Issei and Daidouji stood next to each other as if they were already mates before Sabnock laughed at the game.
"What an amazing battle of beasts. It reminds me of when my father met my mother, and they also marked each other as their mates." Sabnock said as he laughed at the fact, while the other monsters were surprised by this fact until Ravel nodded in agreement.
"Indeed. It's not uncommon for Dragons or Devils to mark each other when the other one's power makes their heart skip a beat. The same thing happened to Sirzechs Lucifer and Grayfia Lucifuge as they made out after the war on the battlefield." Ravel said as she recalled the stories she heard before the monsters pondered what kind of tradition or pact was until Issei and Daidouji walked to Ravel as they sat next to both sides of the Phoenix.
"Sorry Ravel. I hope you are okay with Daidouji joining us." Issei said as Ravel smiled at Issei's apology before rubbing his left cheek with her hand.
"It's fine. I figured that the two of you were turned on by each other's power and fought to test each other's strength like how dragons choose their mates." Ravel said before Daidouji slipped an arm around Ravel's neck and kissed the girl as well, shocking the others, including Ravel, as the Phoenix was very turned on by the rough but gentle kiss, which was similar to the kiss she and Issei had when he marked her as his first mate.
Daidouji pulled away as she smiled at the Phoenix's expression before smiling toothily at her mate. "I got to hand it to you, Issei. You know how to pick a good Queen since I want to play with her and mate with you simultaneously," Daidouji said as her wings and tail appeared as the dragon part of her wanted to take both Issei and Ravel to her dorm and mate with the two of them right now before Issei stopped her.
"Patience Daidouji. At least by us dinner before you try to break the bed." Issei said as the two dragons shared a laugh while Ravel blushed as she felt very turned on by the two dragons that wanted to make her reach Cloud Nine.
'...Is this what it feels like to be attracted to two extremely powerful and handsome/beautiful dragons?' Ravel asked as her wings appeared while her mind began fantasizing about the three of them.
While a certain Succubus felt turned on by the lust and love radiating from the trio as her other side wanted to join in, her mind told her she'd be broken when they were done with her.
"Damn, this feels like an orgy I want to be part of," Kurumu said as she licked her lips, turning dark purple while her nose could smell the tantric energy radiating from their body.
Yep, it was an enjoyable first day at Youkai Academy.
"So you don't mind sharing the apartment with us?" Issei asked as he and Ravel cooked in the kitchen while Daidouji nodded in response.
"Of course. It makes sense since we're mates and can live together to increase our bond. Plus, I can tell you two already made out a lot, given how you two seemed to be experienced in it, but haven't gotten down to the enjoyable part here because of marriage, right? Technically, in Dragon Law, we are married." Daidouji said as Issei sighed while he recalled this conversation with Azazel and Lady Phoenix.
"I know, and granted, Lady Phoenix gave us the okay to go for it, but I wanted to wait until Ravel was ready since this is a big step in our relationship, and I don't want to mess it up," Issei said as Daidouji nodded in understanding since she knew what it was like to ensure their mate was happy. Granted, she had dated before, but the guys and girls she dated were weak and didn't last a single round with her, so now, with Issei and Ravel, she wondered how many games they could go through in one night.
"Well then, I will enjoy these next two semesters as we have a lot of fun. Things will be interesting now that you are here." Daidouji said he didn't care about Kuyo's Pride or his 'territory' as she wanted to get to know her new mates and have a wonderful life with them.
"Well then, let's have some dinner then," Ravel said as she and Issei served Beef Stew, which made Daidouji's stomach grumble; she ate one spoonful of it and gasped as she looked at the two before putting a hand on their shoulders.
"Don't make me wait for too long since I don't think I can control myself when I'm around you two," Daidouji said as her dragon side screamed at her to make love with them before Ravel calmed her down with a smirk.
"Then I guess we'll have to satisfy her, Issei?" Ravel said she would enjoy teasing Daidouji, while Issei got aroused and amused by Ravel's confident side as she was as bright as she was beautiful.
"Damn. Now you are making me want to have you for dessert." Issei said as Ravel smiled at Issei this time and said.
"Then don't hold back tonight," Ravel said as she continued eating while Daidouji and Issei were in heat and wanted to dominate the princess and treat her with the love she deserved.
An authentic Dragon Queen that was able to wrap the two around her finger. What a terrifying girl.

This chapter showed that Issei and Ravel had undergone extensive training that pushed them to become stronger together and allowed them to confess their feelings to each other. Ravel is now an actual Queen who shows off power and confidence, befitting one, while Issei is more robust but still has his kindness towards others while keeping his lustful self under control.
I added Daidouji since she's perfect for being the daughter of a Dragon King, given her power and personality, so I can see her being a punk dragon in battle but an affectionate lover who wants to protect her mates. She won't be part of the peerage but will be one of Issei's mates.
