Outside of the nameless neighborhood, there was a little girl. She was playing with her dolls in a small child size table for a tea party.
It's not like she does this sometimes, but she usually does this every single day, unless she goes out throughout the entire neighborhood with her tricycle or bike.
The girl was known as Alice Gassman.
She has short blonde hair, blue eyes, a pink sleeve that has a yellow ghost on it, dark blue pants, yellow and pink socks and dark pink shoes.
She is a sweet and kind-hearted little girl. Unlike most people/humans, she is friendly towards the walking, talking animals that always say blah blah called Rabbids.
She often treats them as friends or playmates.
She always puts makeup on them like toys. Like the time, she mistakes one for a toy.
That almost made her laugh at that memory.
As she plays around, pretending to hand out tea for her dolls in a plastic tea cup. A certain someone appeared in her presence.
"Hello, there little one." Alice stops briefly playing, she turns to see a white skinned woman with blue eyes.
She had long white hair and was adored in a brown robe with a yellow lightning bolt on her chest. She carried a large wooden staff with a bronze lightning bolt on the tip.
"It's nice to meet you, Alice Gassman." The elderly woman said with a small smile on her face.
Alice's eyes widened, feeling unnerved that this old lady knows her name. "How do you know my name, who are you?"
"I have gone by many names." The woman said ominously as she walked closer towards the girl, careful not to frighten her or scare her off. "But one of them in particular I go by Witch... Shazam!"
She shouted with her voice echoing across the neighborhood as a bolt of lightning from the sky dropped down on her. Witch Shazam however caught it with one hand nonchalantly before it could even touch her.
"Whoa!" Alice was amazed by that as she realized that this was no regular old woman. "Was that a magic trick?"
The elderly woman softly giggles. "More than that, that was a taste of my power you've witnessed."
"Powers?! Really?" Alice exclaimed in awe.
"Indeed." She nodded.
Alice gasped before she quickly moved out of her plastic chair and went in front of the old woman. "Can I have super powers like that?! Please! Pretty please!"
"You may." Witch Shazam said, causing the little girl to hop up and down on the ground happily saying yay. "But first you must do something for me."
"Like what?" Alice asked, a bit confused.
"Simple." She brought her staff over to her. "Place your hands upon my staff."
Alice did so without hesitation while smiling in excitement.
"I named you, my champion. I shall bestow upon you the Wisdom of Zehuti, the Strength of Amon, the Stamina of Shu, the Power of Aton, the Rage of Sekhmet, the Courage of Mehen and the Swiftness of Heru. With these powers and abilities, you shall become a Goddess. Are you ready?"
Alice nodded a bit excited for this moment.
"For you to have these gifts you must speak my last name then you may have the power."
The little girl closed her eyes and took one simple, deep breath before beginning to speak the word she was given. "Shazam." When saying that, a bolt of lightning from the clouds struck upon her.
Three months later
Z-Prison, Somewhere in Mexico…
Alice screamed in horrific pain, panting deeply forcing her to wake up. She felt a shocking pain in her neck.
Suddenly, a voice spoke. "Wake up, Subject Alpha. We have things to discuss."
Alice got quickly angry as she recognized the voice, one she could never forget. "Zomboss." She said, with a hint of hatred in her voice before she was shocked by an electric collar around her neck.
The room she was in had barely any light, she couldn't find the source of the undead mad scientist's voice. Anything she could see was fuzzy, and seemed to lag as she looked around. The only thing that was clear was her pain, and the fact that she was restrained.
Zomboss who's hidden in the shadows continued. "You thought of the magic of Shazam. The Witch bestowed upon you would keep you and your family safe, didn't you? What a fool you are. You're weak, It took me long enough to realize your weakness is Eternium which was enough to knock you out for several minutes."
His voice coming from was right in front of her, slightly to the left.
"You belong to me now. I have had a great interest in your kind, human and the power you possess."
Alice snarled in anger. "I belong to no-"
Another wave of electricity from the caller shocked her, causing her to scream in pain and shut up.
"I have studied you. I have learned everything about you. Now you will be my perfect patient, the one human that can control the Rabbids."
Out of the darkness, a zombie came into view. He had a big head, green skin, a lab coat and an evil smile on his face.
He bent over to Alice's level and looked her square in the eye.
"I feel that thanks are in order, capturing Subject Alpha was much easier and now we have you, operation control mind ready to begin. The entire world is ready for picking and if you try to stop me I doubt you'll succeed."
He turned around and walked back into the darkness again, she heard a door open before closing. Alice was left in the dark.
Next instant, the room immediately was lit by the brightest lights. Alice shut her eyes in recoil to the sudden brightness.
As her eyes gradually adjusted to the brightness. She was in a small dirty room. There were hooks and chains hanging from the ceiling, a blood stain on the ground that was probably from something she would rather not know, a television set, and a mirror she could see herself in. She was cuffed at the front and feet, she also had an orange prison outfit on, she was badly scraped up, bruised and numb from the electric shock.
'I need to get this collar off for me.' Alice thought. 'So I could call forth my power to escape but what?' Looking around.
She spotted a scalpel on the floor near our location. Alice reached for it and grabbed it before using it as a picklock in the collar's keyhole.
'Come on, come on.'
Click!
'Yes!' She'd unlocked it, using this chance to take it off her neck and toss it to the side before rubbing her sore neck.
"Now to get out of here, Shaz-" Before Alice could speak the word, she heard the door start to turn. It's the guards that are going to escort her to her cell.
Thinking quickly, she pocketed the scalpel in her front pocket as soon as two zombie soldiers came into the room.
They moved up to the human girl and grabbed her shoulder arms to pick her up before dragging her out of the room.
As the guards held and escorted the inmate towards her personal cell. They were seen entering a massive hallway of holding cells. It held over a hundred prisoners in total, Plants and Rabbids.
Alice, on the other hand, refuses to be thrown into a cell and rot away so they could continue their experiments on her.
Not to mention they are trying to brainwash her and use her as a puppet while their leader controls her strings. She will not allow that.
Using her own strength, She surprisingly broke free from her new restraints to grab and slam the undead guards into each other's heads, knocking them down before making a run for it.
She had a straight run like the wind, ahead of her, she saw several guards come into the scene about fifty of them, barricading her exit out. They readied their Z-1 assault blasters and pointed them at her.
It would seem they knew that she was going to escape. Alice knew not to underestimate them, she would've expected this sooner.
But not for long.
She forces herself to stop near in front of the barricade.
"It's all over Patient Alpha." A General Supremo spoke with a megaphone in his hand. "Lord Zomboss knew that you were going to try this again. You have one option: get down on your hands and knees or we will neutralize you with force if necessary."
"Not in your life!" Alice exclaimed. "I'd rather die than become a rat in this so-called prison! If you won't let me through then I'll let myself out… Shazam!"
A huge bolt of lightning ripped apart the heavens, came down the ceiling of the prison and headed straight for the airborne girl, striking her dead-on, a thick cloud of dust obscured the girl.
"All forces, ready your weapons!" General Supremo ordered. "The moment, once the smoke clears up, you clear to engage her."
"Sir, Dr. Zomboss' orders were clear to capture the patient!" One of his dead soldiers reminded.
"I am aware of his orders!" He told his subordinate. "Right now, we need everything we got to take her down without killing the test subject."
Everyone stared at the dust cloud including the prisoners as it slowly dissipated. What they saw made them gasp in shock.
The little girl wasn't there anymore. Instead what revealed was a teenager. Her blonde hair was right-sided curved bobbed, blue eyes remained the same and a slightly tanned skin complexion. She was adorned in a skintight pink and black suit, with pink and black boots, pink braces on her forearms with two white lines, black gloves on her hands.
On her chest was a pink pentagon upside down chest protector armor strapped on her. It bears black lightning bolt that was briefly glowing white.
Alice stared at her body, admiring her champion form. "It's good to be back." Her voice changes a little deeper before glaring angrily at the zombies. "Now…" She brought up her hand as sparks of pink lightning circles around it. "Who's ready to die?" Both her eye color turned blue to pink.
In response to her question. The General Supremo took out a ray gun aiming towards her and shouted. "Open fire!"
Obeying their superior's command, they open fire upon the teenage girl. The moment their ammunition made contact with her face, skin and suit, they shattered like glass.
Alice gave a scoff as if this was child's play to her. "Please." Their weaponry will do her no harm. Her feet levitated off the floor, she slightly took off above the air. As the zombies continuously unload every round, they have on her which didn't do anything.
Alice flew over with super speed where they were and unleashed upon mayhem the zombies without mercy; intent on making them pay for every human they killed, especially the leader, who took them away from her. She swing her fists around with electrifying punches killing them all without hesitation, using her hands to rip them apart limb by limb while burning them alive from inside out with the power of her pink lightning bolts that are shooting out of her hands and fingertips as any undead caught in her path was decapitated, scorched, bifurcated.
Every living plant and walking animal watches in horror from within their cells while some cheer for her.
She uses her bare hand to karate chop off the hands of one zombie guard and follows up with a quick decapitation before slamming her elbow into the face of another zombie guard, enough to smash it like a melon. Alice spotted and shocked their superior with a single bolt of electricity here and there, killing him instantly, reducing him to a chard crisp. She fired an overcharge lighting bolt into the undead group, taking out several of them while three were instantly killed, damaging their brains and vital organs. She shot another bolt of electricity and blew the head off of another zombie while grabbing one by the neck and crushing his windpipe. She'd thrown the body at another zombie while he was struggling to rise, Alice flew over and punted his head off before spinning around and slamming both of her hands on another undead soldier's face; crushing his skull. One zombie tosses a long chain at her, only for her to grab it, channeling pink electricity through the chains, causing that zombie to explode.
Soon all the guards in the prison were permanently vanquished as Alice floated down to touch her feet to the floor. The lightning symbol on her chest stops growing and her eyes return to normal.
"Good thing I've been taught to do karate."
Everything was quiet from now on. She only delayed them, but it's only a matter of time before reinforcements will come.
She needed to get out of here and fast but first. She took one look towards the prisoners of Plants and Rabbids in their cells until she got an idea.
"Hey!" She gets their attention, all of them and every single one of them places their eyes on her. "How would you all feel like we broke out of here?"
Alice was seen staying over a cliff, watching the prison she escaped from starts to smoke black from its roof and fire can be seen coming out of the windows.
"Excuse me." She turned and saw not only a Peashooter that belonged to the Plant army but several more of them of different types behind him, and the Rabbids among them. There were over a million total, and each one looked at her, as if she was a god.
She was outside with them about sixty miles away from jail that held her for months. Now she is finally free with the prisoners of war.
"On behalf of everyone here. Thank you for rescuing us." Peashooter began. "We would've been executed tomorrow without you."
Alice simply nodded. "You are welcome."
"Pardon me." One of the Rabbids stepped up forward with his kind behind. "By any chance are you our Empress?"
Alice only stared at him for a second before she gave out her answer. "Yes… I am. Shazam." When she said the word that quietly a bolt of lightning came down from the heavens to strike upon her and made a thick smoke screen when it had finally dissipated, she was back at her normal form as a kid.
The Rabbid gasps in shock before dropping down on a knee showing his respect to her. "Empress!"
"Empress!" The other Rabbids follow his pursuit to kneel before their monarchy.
"You can understand them?" The Peashooter questioned with a surprise expression on his face. He didn't know what those animals were saying, but it seems the human girl does.
"Yes, I can due to the experiments Zomboss did to me." Alice showed a bit of anger but slightly calmed down. "But I can do more than understand them. I can control them by giving them a command, wherever I tell them to do."
"So you're a leader to them?"
"In the way, I am." Alice said before ordering the animals to stand up. "Still…" She looks back at the blazing prison. "I wish I could go back so I ring his neck."
"He escaped into the teleportation room before you could reach him." Peashooter told her.
"Yes, he has but pretty soon he won't be able to escape this time." Alice replied. "That reminds me." She turns back to the plant. "Since we got out of there, we need to split up. Where will you and your friends go?"
"We go back to our homebase and report everything that has transpired there." Peashooter answered. "You?"
"I got a little bone to pick with Zomboss." Alice began as both her eyes glowed pink again. "I'm not going to go after him. That comes later. First, I am going to take everything away from him. Or should I say..." She turns her head towards the army of Rabbids. "We will."
