Later, Boun and Coraline both had climbed into one of Boun's boats. When they were inside of the boat, Boun started paddling, making the boat slide slowly away from the dock. As Coraline was in the back, she was able to watch Boun paddle the boat. Coraline realized that they were moving away from the dock further into the stream of water. Coraline looked back to where they had just come from. Coraline looked over at Boun,again, who was too focused on paddling and moving the boat in the stream.
"Where are we going?",asked Coraline to Boun confused.
Boun then turned to her
"We're going somewhere that you want to see.",answered Boun to her.
Coraline went silent. She was unsure what was about to happen. She did not know where she was going.
