Lloyd felt very shaky as he approached the doorsteps. They were stone doors and steps and the house he was walking up to was a house that was stuck in the middle of two other buildings. The other two loom over the house in the middle. He felt sweat going down his face, and he took his communicator out and checked himself over one final time.
Making sure there was nothing inside his teeth, He took a deep breath then jaded up the steps, and knocked on the door. Waiting there was the worst mostly because he was all alone with his thoughts, and he was having second thoughts but as he was about to turn around, and walk about to the bounty. The door opened, and there standing in the doorway, was his date, and oh my did she look stunning.
Lloyd's mouth dropped, and he didn't mean to stare, but he couldn't help it. Her usual white hair which was usually tied back into a bun was flowing down past her shoulders. She wore a beautiful green outfit, one that looked like a blouse. He couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. He breathed a sigh. As he let a soft smile go on his face, Harumi turned and closed the door behind him. "Ready?" she asked softly.
Lloyd shook himself out of his daze, stood upright, and put a hand behind his head. He found himself blushing. "Y-yes let's go," he says, as she nodded. He put his arm out, and she linked onto his arm. As they started to slowly walk down the steps and onto the streets. As they headed down the streets, they were silent at first, and he turned to look at Harumi. "Thank you, for agreeing to go on the date with me," he tells her. Harumi smiled, as she turned and looked at him. "It's no problem, I'm glad it was able to work out, and we could do this". Lloyd smiled.
The rest of the time they were heading to the restaurant, laughing and talking. Talking about silly stuff and making each other laugh. Lloyd smiled, as he believed this date was going great so far, and he hoped it would keep going this way. They headed inside the restaurant, and he heard the lively chatter of other people. As they sat down, Lloyd pulled out the chair for her, and she thanked him. As he pushed the chair in. he then went and took a seat himself. As they looked over the menu. Lloyd took a deep breath, as suddenly he felt his communicator ringing. His eyes widened, as he tried to shut it off before Harumi heard.
He saw her looking up, Lloyd's face went bright red, and he denied the call as quickly as he could. "Is everything okay?" Harumi asked as her face showed concern. Lloyd sheepishly nodded, as he drank some water to try and calm himself. "Y-yea, It was just a scam call," He said as he buried his face in the menu. Rumi gave a silent nod and looked at her menu. Lloyd would find out very soon that ignoring that call would be the worst mistake of his life.
