"6-In the Order of the Phoenix, Harry is up against the despicable Dolores Umbridge, a new professor at Hogwarts whose overly sweet demeanor is nothing more than a facade for what some may call pure evil. In fact, at one point in his fifth installment of the series, she implores Severus for help in interrogating Harry. Yes, she was interrogating students by requesting that Snape make her the truth serum, Veritaserum. Now, not only does Snape put her off and prolong the making of the potion, but he also gives her a fake Veritaserum in order to protect Harry from being subjected to the effects of the potion, thereby also helping him conceal the location of Sirius Black and the safe house of the Order of the Phoenix."

James again felt dread, why the hell did Sirius' location need concealment? Why would a professor out of all things attempt to get his best friend's location out of his son's mouth through means that needed permission to even be applied on prisoners? Where the hell was Dumbledore? As for the Order of The Phoenix, he heard from it from the mouths of his parents and at this point many of the students concluded that it was an organization against Voldemort from the previous talk about Snape being a double agent. Why would his son be aware of the headquarters location? Why was he called the boy who lived? Why did Voldemort attack them? This became less and less amusing as time went on and panic started to settle in. In the back of his mind, he remembered that this was broadcast to every wizard alive and that his parents probably were witnessing this too. His heart clenched with worry as to what they would be feeling now. He didn't have the mind to look at other people's reactions, too preoccupied with his feelings.

" the Order to Harry's disappearance: When Harry disappears in a dark forest near the end of the Order of the Phoenix, Professor Snape goes after him. Upon realizing that Harry is no longer on Hogwarts grounds, he alerts the Order, sending them to the Ministry of Magic in London in an effort to protect Harry from pursuing Death Eaters."

He felt any air leaving his lungs. He really didn't want to start dry-heaving in the great hall embarrassing himself but his body wouldn't listen to him. Sirius seemed to feel his agitation and took his hand under the table. James clenched it hard, their fingers started to tangle and the heat generated calmed him. Why..why was he chased by Death-Eaters?

" Harry to keep his potions textbook: Of course, everyone knows by the end of the sixth installment of the series, "The Half-Blood Prince," that Severus Snape is the self-proclaimed Half-Blood Prince, as he explains to Harry. He's a Half-Blood wizard whose mother's maiden name was Prince..."

Sirius snorted next to him and this got his attention for a bit. The orb continued however..."What we don't know is why Snape would have enabled Harry to use his potions textbook, which contained his detailed notes, and thus he was purposely wanting to help Harry without helping Harry, if you know what I mean Snape undoubtedly knew that Harry was using his old textbook since he alludes to this at several points in the narrative and finally accuses him of using his own spells against him at the end of the Order. This suggests that Snape was allowing Harry to leverage his notes, which ultimately helped Harry uncover the truth about Voldemort's Horcruxes, a vital step in helping Harry and the others get closer to defeating the Dark Lord." There was a gasp from Sirius next to him, he looked absolutely livid. The same could be said about very few of the Slytherins. Regulus particularly. It was the first time he saw such an expression on his face, if he saw any at all. However when he turned to scrutinize his best mate whom he knew best, he didn't like the realization that seemed to dawn in his eyes was full of horrified understanding. He turned to take a look at the professors' table, only Dumbledore and Slughorn seemed to have an idea of what it was but both of them had an expression that was anything but reassuring. He had the vague impression that such a term should not have been known at all, some very dark magic best left untouched but now with this being broadcast, it wouldn't take long before the Daily Prophet talks about it. Even if the ministry wanted to hush it , they couldn't.

" Harry from committing murder: In the same book or film, depending on your preference, Snape also prevents Harry from committing a heinous crime after Harry uses one of Snape's spells from his old potions textbook to attack Malfoy. Draco nearly dies, and if Professor Snape hadn't healed Malfoy's extensive injuries, Harry would have been guilty of murder, which undoubtedly would have affected his character as well as his moral and mental state."

Of course Snape would protect Malfoy, this ...commenter was really biased to spin it into him saving Harry.

" Death Eaters from killing Harry: One of the most direct examples of Snape saving Harry's life is when he stops Voldemort's Death Eaters from killing him on the pretense that Harry must be saved for the Dark Lord himself. Of course, why he didn't allow them to capture Harry and take him directly to Voldemort seems quite suspicious, but kudos to Severus for pulling this off."

Great Discomfort spread again in the great hall. James didn't know what to process first, that Snape had enough authority to make himself heard by the death-eaters or that his son was the object of such attentions.
