Cream woke up as it was her birthday. Sonic and the others worked hard to save Vanilla.
"Chao Chao!" Cheese says.
"Aw, thanks, Cheese." Cream says. "I wonder how Mr. Luke's celebrating his birthday…"
Meanwhile, Shadow was skating as he rushed by some spikes, dodging traps as he destroyed some badniks and glared as his hand glowed.
"Chaos Spear!" Shadow says, shooting chaos spears. This caused explosions upon impact.
Shadow sees Sonic rushing by, his feet running on the lush green hills as he has a gift in hand.
"Sonic…" Shadow says.
"Well, we do share a birthday." Rouge says.
"You can have it." Shadow says.
Oliver woke up as Amber brought him his birthday breakfast.
"Oh, how thoughtful!" Oliver says.
"Have you talked to Luke?" Amber asked.
"Not yet. But I will." Oliver says as he begins to eat.
Luke wakes up in the castle, a little sad. His week was already coming to an end, but he came down to see a big waffle bar in the castle's dining room.
"Happy birthday, Luke!" Everyone says. Luke loved hearing that every year. He then got some breakfast and smiled.
"Then you have your wedding vow renewal celebration tomorrow and your anniversary next month. Speaking of which, how many years will it be?" Cuphead asked Luke.
"20." Luke says. "Another acting milestone!"
"You have to go big this year!" Mugman says as he eats his second helping of waffles.
"What he said!" Luna says.
Luke smiles at the thought of that. He then thinks of tonight's execution. It would be the entertainment tonight. In fact, tonight's party was going to be child-free.
Amy invited the kids to Cream's birthday party. The kids cheered and were happy to be invited.
"Aria, behave yourself." Chalice says sternly.
"I will!" Aria says.
"Okay, let's go!" Amy says. She leaves with the kids.
Once the kids are gone, the execution planning begins.
"Who's getting executed?" Lucy asked.
"Lola." Luan says.
Later, Luke was on a parade float, waving and smiling. He definitely wanted this for his anniversary next month. Chalice smiled and made a note to include a parade float in his anniversary celebration.
People took pictures of Luke as he smiled.
With Oliver, he got wind of tonight's party. He was determined to talk to Luke before it started.
"What is it?" Luke asked.
"Want to share?" Oliver asked.
"Never!" Luke hissed.
"Sweetie, be reasonable…" Charity says to Luke.
"He'll steal my attention." Luke says.
"Honey, he's celebrating a milestone birthday, too." Charity says.
"Not as grand as my milestone…" Luke hissed.
"Sweetheart, Oliver's been through a lot much like I have these past few days. The least you could do is try to be nice. But if you insist, I'll just tell Amber to take Oliver out tonight." Charity says.
Oliver sobs and the TV cameras for the show that were here to cover the party were on when this happened. Needless to say, Luke's generous side went out the window on live TV.
"It would seem we have come to see just how cruel and selfish Luke can be." The host, Madison, says. Luke froze.
His fans were shocked as many of them had come for the party. They then left.
Luke mentally broke when the news got out.
"Why can't you be nice to your brother?" Chalice asked. "Oliver has been through enough and all he wanted was to have a decent party for once."
"He was trying to steal Luke's spotlight! Luke's birthweek is ruined!" Luke says as Lucy reaches out for him, but he slaps her hand away and teleports to the castle. He was livid with Oliver. No one came between him and his day.
Well, no one except Charity, who kept control of his special days. And when she saw how he treated Oliver, she called all the San Antonio and a few multiversal news stations and called a press conference.
"Happy birthday, Cream!" the kids say.
"Is this for me?" Cream asked.
"Yep, I even convinced Rouge to come." Amy says.
"Hopefully Egghead won't try anything sneaky." Sonic says.
Cream sees somes gifts. "Thank you!" Cream says.
Meanwhile, Charity had started the press conference. Everyone was watching this, even Luke's alternate counterparts.
"As you know, Luke's 25th birthweek is ending tonight. But what you're about to see and hear might shock you all about my son." Charity says as she plays the footage.
Everyone gasped.
Peach was in Bowser's cell as Bowser covered his son's eyes.
Aria sees this and felt ashamed of her own father.
Meanwhile, Luke was pummeling Oliver in private as he was furious. But when Charity came in, Luke stopped. Chalice just couldn't believe what she saw. Oliver was bloodied up.
"I tried to stop him." Lucy says.
Cuphead and Mugman carried Oliver to their cottage that they remodeled and started fixing him.
"No more tantrums! It's time to listen!" Charity says. And to make sure Luke wouldn't throw a fit or get away, Lucy used a spell to prevent that.
"You went too far!" Charity says. "Oliver is a nicer person and a kinder individual now. But you were so blinded by all the attention you were getting that you failed to see that. Oliver didn't deserve to be beaten up. He didn't deserve to be yelled at by you. He is just as important as you are. And you just chose to be completely selfish instead of letting Oliver have some form of a party!"
Charity then broadcasts some footage from earlier where Oliver asked Luke about having a party and Luke told Oliver no.
"You're ruining my week!" Luke says.
"Luke, calm down, please." Lucy says. "Sigh, when it comes to birthdays, Luke changes."
The other universes see this footage Charity is broadcasting.
The racers see this. They never knew Luke to act this way.
Amy covered Aria's eyes while Vanilla gasped in shock.
"Oh, poor Oliver!" Rouge says.
"Awww, Mr. Oliver didn't deserve that…" Cream says, holding Cheese.
"That's brutal. Even Shadow hasn't done that…" Tails says.
"I guess I better see what the whole deal is." Sonic says. He races off.
Cream looked down. Seeing blood reminded her of her father's death. Vanilla held her daughter close.
With Oliver, the cups had fixed him up nicely. Oliver woke up in an armchair in the cups' living room.
"We're so sorry this happened to you." Chalice says. "I had no idea Lukey was treating you so horribly…"
"I'll make some tea and cookies." Mugman scurried off to the kitchen to do just that.
Cuphead showed Oliver some of his Dirk Dangerous comics. Mugman returned with the tea and cookies a few minutes later.
"So, what else has he done to hurt you?" Mugman asked, sipping his tea.
Oliver cried as he told the cups what they needed to know.
"Luan used to take my beatings for me…" Oliver sniffed.
"Oh, wow…" Mugman says, holding Oliver's hands.
Lucy was decorating for Luke.
"Why are you decorating?" Luna asked. "After what a lot of people saw, Luke may not even have guests for the party tonight."
"He told me to." Lucy says.
"I didn't hear him say anything to you." Luna says.
"We have a secret language." Lucy says.
Luke was hiding from the press. He was more screwed than ever now. Luke cried and cried as he was hiding in a closet.
"I want my birthday…" Luke sniffed. Chalice looked inside the closet.
"It will happen." Chalice said.
"I wanna talk about you and perfect birthdays. Because I think you got it all wrong." Sonic says, standing by the doorway.
"What do you mean?" Luke asked.
"Birthdays aren't really about being perfect. It's about spending time with family and cake and best of all, chili dogs. Also it feels great sharing this day with those who mean the most to you. Think about Oliver, who has been jealous of all the parties you had. He's celebrating an important milestone birthday, much like you." Sonic says. "Instead of letting him have a birthday, you chose to beat him up out of fear that he would steal your spotlight."
Luke looks down.
"Besides, you can't live the same life forever. So, all we can do is live life the best we can." Sonic says. "At this point, I think you need to do the right thing. Think about what you did wrong."
With Oliver, he was crying and sucking on Mugman's straw as a comforting mechanism.
"Oliver, I have a surprise for you." Luan says.
"Oh, and what is that? More beatings?" Oliver asked, sniffling.
"No, no…" Luan says leading him to the castle as Lucy led Luke there.
Confetti falls on them. "Happy Birthday, Luke and Oliver!" Everyone says.
Oliver was shocked while Luke smiled. There were decorations everywhere. Oliver didn't know what to say.
"Thank you." Oliver says.
The party began with dancing. Oliver was still taking it all in, however.
Charity thought of her own birthday, which would also be a milestone this year.
Luke danced with Chalice.
Charity left the party to be alone with her thoughts. Skylia checks on her and sees Charity was crying.
"What's wrong?" Skylia asked. Charity looked down.
"I have to spend my 60th birthday alone!" Charity sobbed. "Nobody loves me! And seeing all the couples at this party is making me feel worse about not having anyone…"
Skylia feels bad for her friend.
"Could you just tell Luke I'm going home? I need to go have some me time." Charity says as she leaves.
Back at the party, Luke wasn't getting as many gifts because of the way he had treated Oliver. Oliver, on the other hand, was getting a nice pile of gifts.
Luke looked down as he opened his gifts. Lucy got him a cape as he smiles gratefully. He then opened the rest of his gifts in silence.
Luna got him a guitar and Chalice got him a new Ace Savvy plushie.
Oliver opened all his gifts and thanked everyone. Luke walked off to get ready for the execution. Lucy heads off.
At Cream's party, the games began. They played games like musical chairs and freeze dance. Then they played charades.
After the games, Cream opened her presents. The gifts were mostly toys, hair accessories, candy, books, and a few dresses. There was also a hammer from Amy and a necklace from Rouge.
"Thank you for the gifts, everyone! These are great!" Cream says.
"No problem." Aria says.
With Charity, she began to sing "Tightrope" by Sara Bareilles from The Greatest Showman Reimagined album as she was painting a picture of the San Antonio Riverwalk in her living room. She still felt sad inside.
Charity was shedding tears as she painted. Skylia comforts her.
"Your painting is amazing, Charity." Skylia says.
"Thanks…" Charity says.
"Are you going to your son's vow renewal tomorrow?" Skylia asked.
"I don't know." Charity says. "I don't know what I want to do…"
At the party, the execution is about to begin. Lola looked down.
"Have mercy, I have a kid!" She says.
"Silence!" Luke hissed.
Lola was quiet as Luke began to speak again.
"Today Lola Huntington will be executed. She has done a countless amount of horrible things and committed lots of crimes. She has even ruined me on several occasions." Luke says. He then plays footage of all the bad things Lola has done. People gasped.
Then it was time for Lola to be executed.
"Do you have any last words?" Luke asked.
"I'm sorry for everything…Watch over my kid, please…" Lola says tearfully. "If I could take back all the bad things I said about Luke, I would…but I can't."
"Executioner ready!" Luke shouts. The castle servants pull the lever as Lola is soon decapitated and the entire party cheers.
Lola's headless corpse is taken to the castle incinerator and Lola's head is stuffed and put on a pole in the castle's training grounds. Luke then takes Lola's tiara for his prize and gives it to Chalice.
Chalice smiles at Luke. Oliver smiled and opened more presents after the execution.
Meanwhile, the Cosmic Buddies, Daisy, and Mario Bros arrived. Bone Mage got ready and used magic, trapping all of them.
"Yes!" Bone Mage says as the screen shows Skylia holding a magic arrow and shooting it, cutting the magic net.
At Cream's party, Vanilla brought out the cake.
"Wow, that's a nice cake!" Cream says.
"Amy baked it." Vanilla says as she lit the candles.
"Thank you, Mrs. Amy!" Cream says as a metallic claw grabbed Aria and Clover and flew off.
"Eggman…" Sonic says.
"I missed! Metal Sonic, attack!" Eggman says as the Eggmobile flew off
Metal Sonic landed as Sonic glared. He revved up his feet and boosted towards Metal Sonic, who fired his engines and rushed towards Sonic as they collided. Metal Sonic tried swiping at Sonic, who dodged.
Cream flies after Eggman and tries freeing Aria and Clover.
"Help!" Clover screamed.
Cream finally manages to free the girls.
With Luke, he saw Oliver hitting the piñata first. Luke was fuming and hit Oliver in the head with his nine-iron.
Charity came back to the party and gasped in shock.
"LUKE FLYNN HUNTINGTON!" Charity screamed when she saw Oliver holding his head. Oliver was crying as most of Luke's fans ran to Oliver's side.
Charity marched up to Luke and snatched the nine-iron out of his hands. "Go to your room! Now!" Charity screamed. "And if you throw a tantrum, I will send all your guests home in a heartbeat!"
Luke reluctantly obeyed and stormed to his room. Mugman allowed Oliver to suck on his straw to use it as a soother while Chalice fixed his wounds.
Once Charity was upstairs, she stood before Luke with a very displeased look on her face.
"What gave you the right to do that to Oliver?" Charity asked Luke, arms folded. "Start talking. Right now!"
"He hit the piñata first." Luke says.
Sonic and Metal Sonic rush around, leaving blue trails.
"Sonic, hang on!" Tails says flying in with Amy as he launches her.
Amy smirked and hammered Metal Sonic, sending him up as Sonic hit Metal Sonic with a spin dash.
"Looks like Luke isn't going to have his fans back." Lynn says and decides to have a turn at the piñata. She broke it open as candy came out.
Soon, Amy fixed the cake and everyone sang to Cream. Cream wished that one day Eggman would turn good. Later, she and Amy sat outside.
"Sorry your party got ruined again." Amy says.
"Mrs. Amy, I don't consider this a ruined party. One bad moment isn't ruining this day for me and it's thanks to all of you." Cream says.
At Luke's party, he sat in his room while everyone was singing to Oliver. Charity sat with him.
Oliver sniffed.
"Ollie, what's the matter?" Amber asked.
"He hurt me again, and he said he wouldn't!" Oliver cried.
Amber pitied him. Charity could see Luke sulking.
"My day sucks…" Luke says.
Luan decided to tell jokes so Oliver could cheer up. Oliver giggled.
Meanwhile, Emila and Bone Mage were shooting spells as Angry Luigi kicked Matchstick. Delta kicked Bowser, sending him into the Koopalings
Alem tuber blasted most of the army and Mario untied Peach while smiling.
Luigi stomped on Kamek as Daisy punched Bone Mage.
Later, Lincoln gave Oliver and Luke a magic show as they liked it a lot.
After the show, they play games. Then Luke looks away and sighs.
"This birthweek was awful. Just awful. This may have been a milestone birthday, but it was just dreadful…" Luke says as he sat in a corner by himself. "I lost so much…"
"You hurt him again after you said you wouldn't." Charity says. "You hit Oliver in the head with your nine-iron on national and multiversal TV. You lied to him."
Lucy overheard this and felt horrible. "I failed Luke again.. " she says. But Lynn shook her head.
"Luke failed to realize that his actions had consequences." Lynn says. "Hurting Oliver made him lose a lot. Most of his fans left him and I'm pretty sure he's going to have a lot more to lose when the show starts up again."
With the kids…
"I guess we should send you home." Amy says. "The party is over now."
Sonic returns the kids to the castle. Aria saw her dad getting berated by his party guests.
"On second thought, maybe a sleepover would be better." Clover says, seeing Aria start to tear up. Jackson hugs Aria as they walk away from the castle.
Luke was being shamed by the time Mario and his friends showed up.
Mario was confused as Peach explained.
"Hey, Mario, look, can Cream and the kids have a castle sleepover at Peach's castle?" Sonic asked.
"Oh, yeah!" Mario says. Luigi and Daisy took the kids to Peach's castle.
Luke was now looking very ashamed of himself.
Later, when Luke saw the cake, he looked annoyed. His cake was supposed to be a #25 cake with pictures of him all over it. But he didn't see that cake. It was leftover cake.
The lights turned off. Luan turned them on as she brought two cakes.
One said "Happy Star-tastic 25th Birthday, Luke!" and it had pictures of him on it. The other cake said "Happy Spectacular 16th Birthday, Oliver!" and had edible stars all over it.
"I love it!" Oliver says.
The cakes had candles in their favorite colors. Leni took a picture of the cakes.
Soon, everyone began to sing as Oliver was smiling. Luke just looks down.
Oliver wished he could enter ANH next season and blew out all 16 of his candles.
Luke glared and wished his next birthday was his and his alone. But Charity didn't like what she heard.
Luke sighed and wished to win ANH before blowing out the candles.
Meanwhile, there was music and dancing as Joe did some tricks. Aria blushed, looking at Joe.
"You're so good!" Aria says.
"Thanks!" Joe says.
"Okay, you have fun!" Peach says.
Daisy was sleeping, tired from the adventure.
"So, Luke lost it?" Alem tuber asked as Bill had a surprise. He had a firework light show for Luke and Oliver.
"Yeah." Bill says as the guests assembled for the show.
Luke had his hand on the back of Oliver's head. The next thing Oliver knew, he was shoved into his leftover cake, hard. Oliver fell and found himself knee-deep in cake and it was also all over his face. Oliver wailed.
"Luke!" Luan says, but Delta had enough of Luke and charged up a spin dash. She spin dashed into Luke who was sent back.
Luke hissed madly and shot ice at the cosmic buddies. "There's going to be more executions!" he screamed
"Nice going…" Alem tuber says to Delta as he shoots flames at them. They dodged however Luigi was hit as Mario was stunned
"I usually save this for emergencies but, Luke, you're crossing multiple levels." Angry Luigi says as he took out a White Raccoon Leaf and turned into White Raccoon Angry Luigi. He rushed and hit Luke with a tail whip, sending Luke flying.
"Your party was ruined, yet you're not crying…" Aria says to Cream.
"I enjoyed what I could of it." Cream says.
Meanwhile, Luke tossed binding scarves on Angry Luigi and attempted to kill him, but Mario leaped on him and took out his hammer. "Let's a go!" Mario says and Sonic charged up his spin dash as Mario hammered the spin dash into Luke. Charity caught him and put him to sleep with a tranquilizing spell she learned from Skylia.
Later, Luan and Amber took Oliver out to a bunch of fun places to cheer him up. It didn't make him completely happy, but he did appreciate the fact that the girls went to great lengths to cheer him up.
Mario arrived at the castle.
"What happened?" Peach asked as Mario explained.
"My Goodness! Over a birthday that he didn't want to share?" Peach asked.
"I'll kill him!" Daisy screamed as Peach had to calm Daisy down.
Meanwhile, at a nearby ice cream shop…
"Oliver, will you marry me in the future or remarry?" Amber asked Oliver.
"Yes!" Oliver says, excited.
"We can't do it tomorrow. Luke would execute us." Amber says and sighed. "Even though my birthday was a dud, I'm glad you at least had yours."
"Why does Luke hate me?" Oliver asked.
"He doesn't. He just has a birthday obsession. He dedicates a whole week to his own birthday. But I have a feeling that will probably change after what Charity saw tonight." Amber says.
Oliver kissed Amber, who gasped before kissing him back.
