Chapter: 16: Party

"So…what now?" I ask. "We planned a coming home party for you, ribbit." Tsu responds. A party? For us? "You don't have to!" I say. She grins. "You think after not seeing you for six years we aren't gonna celebrate, ribbit?" She asks. "Well…I…no." I reply. "Okay then ribbit. It's about a two hour drive, so get comfy." We walk to her car, and get in. Uraraka gets in front, while me and both Toga's sit in the back. We sit back, and I stare out the window. It takes us about two and a half hours to get to the place. We pull into the parking lot to see the whole class in front, some standing, some sitting. We pull into the driveway, and exit the car. We walk towards them, until we are right next to them. "Guys it's Midoryia!" Kaminari shouts. They all look and see us standing there. "H-hi guys!" I say, a little nervous. One by one, they get up and hug me. My cheeks are red. We get to the last person, the green haired girl I saw a few days ago. "S-sorry to ask, but who are you?" I ask. She looks confused for a moment. "Oh! I'm Hagakure!" She replies. "B-but I thought you were invisible." She smiles. "I've learned how to control whether I am or not. See?" She turns invisible, and I see a bunch of floating clothes. She turns back. "Wow! That's cool!" I hug her too. "So…um…what are we gonna do?" I ask. "We've made reservations at a special restaurant for you guys!" Mina says excitedly. "Wow, really? You guys didn't have too!" They smile. "It's on us, ribbit." Tsu says from behind me. "Let's get going!" The ones who are sitting stand up, and we make our way inside the restaurant. The restaurant is definitely expensive, with fancy chandeliers, velvet carpet, and nice tables and chairs. We each have our seats assigned. Me, Toga, alternate Toga, and Uraraka, are closest to the wall. Toga is to my left, as she is right against the wall. It's not hard to guess why they did that. We sit down, and look at the food already on the table. There were many different foods. Steak, salad, bread and pesto, pasta, fish, and wine. I look all the way down the long table, to see everyone else take their seats. "Thank you guys so much. I feel like I haven't gotten a meal in forever!" Everyone nods. "No offense." I whisper to alternate Toga, with a slight grin. She cooked all the meals for us during the time we were in her dimension. She giggles, and nods. "So, how much did this cost?" I ask no one. "It was actually free, ribbit." Tsu says from the far end of the table. "Tokoyami, if you didn't know, Is the Number One hero, ribbit." Number one hero? "Wow! Congratulations!" He nods. "I appreciate your thanks, Midoryia." I look around. "Who is number two?" I ask. "I am, ribbit" Asui? "Congratulations to you too!" She smiles. "I can list the top ten if you want me too, ribbit." "That would be nice!" I say, my voice is a bit muffled from eating. "Number one, tokoyami. Number two, me, ribbit. Number three, Inasa yoarashi. Number four, Nagant." "Wait! Lady Nagant?!" I ask Tsu nods. "Once she recovered, she became a hero again, ribbit! Number five, Kendo. Number six, ribbit, Monama. Number seven, Yo shindo. Number eight, Mount lady. Number nine, Kirishima. And lastly, Ribbit, Shinso." I take a moment to process all the names. "Yeah, the Adults are…not mad, but jealous that most of the new generation are higher than them." Sero remarked. "Mount lady especially. It's like a competition between us and them to see who the best is." "Kinda hard to beat when you only have Two adults against all of you!" I say. They look at me for a bit. "We are adults too…." Shoji says. I forget that they are six years ahead of me. My smile turns to a frown. I focus on my food again. The only drink they have is wine, so technically, i'm not allowed to drink it. Damn, I'm thirsty. I keep eating, trying everything on the table. I end on some bread with pesto and vinegar. I take a bite, and chew. I swallow, but a piece gets stuck in my throat. I start choking. Jirou is next to me, and she drops her fork to thump my back. It doesn't work. She grabs some wine. "Open your mouth." She commands. I shake my head. I'm not allowed to drink that. Everyone else is looking at me, to see if I'm okay. She forces my head still, and pours wine in my mouth, and the bread goes down. The wine burns a bit, but tastes like cranberries. I cough, and Jirou resumes thumping my back. "You good dude?" Kirishima asks. "Yeah." I reply, still coughing. "Jirou. I'm still sixteen. I'm not allowed to drink." I say to her. She covers her mouth with her hand. "I'm so sorry!I forgot!" I smile. "It's alright!" I resume eating, and soon I finish. I wait for everyone to be done to ask my questions. "Alright guys. You know we didn't get to talk much, and so I have some questions." "Fire away!" Mina says. I look at her. "Number One. Where is All for One?" They smile. "We took him down about two years ago." Jirou says. "We lost all Top ten, plus…All might…" Those words still hurt my heart even though I've heard them before. "…Aizawa, most Yuei teachers, among…other people." The room had gone much quieter, and a heavy feeling lingers. "Number Two." I ask slowly. "Where are our other classmates?" "Mineta, and Koda died…" Ojiro says. "And lida is out of the country with his girlfriend." I snort. Lida? Girlfriend? Those two don't match. "Who's his girlfriend?" I ask. "His Girlfriend is Hatsume!" Mina squeals. "They are so cute together!" Hatsume? Wow. Just. Wow. "And..Number three. Where is kacchan?" The room gets even more quiet. Nobody talks. Even Uraraka has gone stiff, with Toga to my right still eating. Alternate Toga is trying to make herself as small as possible, to avoid attention I think. "Well?" I ask again. Uraraka starts crying. "He…He…he k-k-killed…." She falters. "He killed?" I ask. "Is he in jail?" She shakes her head, still crying. "He…he killed…himself." She starts shaking. I mimic her. "He…he what?" I ask, not believing it. She cries harder. I'm shaking so hard right now. "He killed himself." I repeat. "Y-you…you knew about it..huh?" She nods, not meeting my eye. "When?" I ask. I feel my rage boiling up, and I struggle to contain it. "A-about f-four months a-after you got t-taken." I stand up fast, knocking my chair over. Half of the people at our table rise slowly as well. "You mean to tell me that you knew about this? And you didn't tell me?" She nods again. "H-he gave me all his money, and told me if I ever found you…to give it to you." She's still crying, though not as hard. All my other classmates are silent, watching to see what would happen. "H-here, I'll give it to you." "I don't want the money." I say, silent rage in my voice. "Why didn't you tell me?" I ask. "I was! I swear! B-but…." I snort. "What? You "Forgot" Because I rejected you?" A small gasp comes from Mina's mouth. She slowly nods, crying again. "I can't believe you." I say with disgust. "I-i'm s-sorry….I-i don't want you to be mad." I snort again. "I think we've already passed that gate." I start walking away, but she grabs my hand. This makes me even more angry, and I raise my hand to slap her. "Midoriya control yourself!" Momo says. I glare at her, then shake Uraraka off of me. I grab a bottle of wine, to which everyone protests, and walk out the door. I hear multiple people call to me, but jump away, using blackwhip to swing around, going nowhere in particular. I see a pond with nobody there, so I stop there. I sit up against a tree, and start drinking the wine. I down about half the bottle, then throw it to the side. I'm extremely tipsy, and my vision blurs a bit. I get a ding from my phone, and I pick it up to see a notification from my money app. I open it, and It says I got 60,847,396 yen. Holy shit. That's about 400k USD. It's from Uraraka, and I see a note. It read: "I know you hate me right now, and this won't make it any better, but your Mom died as well, and left you her money. This is Bakugo's money combined with your Mom's." I stare at it for a few seconds. I chuck my phone towards the water, but fortunately I overshot, and it lands in the grass across the pond. The sun starts setting, and I decide to sleep under the tree. I can't wait for this day to be over.

A/n: This chapter was painful, I had to force myself to do it. There were a lot of emotions in this chapter, which made it hard to write. Its also hard to have about 15 characters in the same room, as I want all of them to have a bit, but its hard to make ways for everyone to get a chance to speak. After next chapter, I probably wont have all the survivors of Class 1-A in the same room anymore, it just to hard to write. Sorry for any spelling issues, its 2 in the morning. Goodnight. Or morning.
