(A few minutes later...)

Dylan spent almost an hour cleaning the floor of the dojo, as a form of training. He was again and again washing, scrubbing and rubbing the floor while he ran crouching, which was really exhausting. While he was performing this task, the Sensei was supervising him sitting in his meditation chair. Isamu had gone to collect wild fruits.

"Are you sure this will help me become wiser?" Dylan asked, "It seems to me like it's just a cleaning task."

"A wise does not doubt: he knows," Tetsuo replied, "You may see it as a simple cleaning task, but in reality things are more than it appear."

"Yeah, sure…" Dylan said to himself, focused on his task.

When the floor was completely clean, Sensei Tetsuo took Dylan to the outer courtyard, where he showed him a large rock.

"Do you think you can destroy that rock?" old Tetsuo asked him.

"Of course!" he responded, emanating energy to make a Water Pulse. However, the Sensei hit his hand with the staff, causing Dylan to lose his energy.

"Without any kind of power, just with your clean hands"

"But... it looks like a very solid rock."

"A wise man would know how to break it with just his hands," the Sensei told him, taking a seat a little away from there.

"Well, I'll try it..."

"No, don't try it: do it or leave it," replied the Sensei.

"Ok…" Dylan said to himself.

The chosen boy looked at the rock directly, thinking that maybe (just maybe) his Ultra form would be enough to destroy that rock. Having made up his mind, he prepared to strike with all his might and proceeded to hit it, only to take great pain from the blow.

"Ouch!" He exclaimed with great pain, "It is very hard."

The Sensei sighed deeply.

"You must stop thinking like a human, you must unlearn what you have already learned," he said, "Intelligent people only let themselves be carried away by the logical option and make their decisions from there. The wise, on the other hand, may make the option that sometimes seems illogical, but they use what they know to bring that option to a solution.

"So how do you find the solution to this?" Dylan asked, pointing to the rock, "It's impossible."

The Sensei picked up a piece of rock from the ground and, with great ease and against the appearance of being just an old man, reduced it to very small stones with a simple squeeze. Dylan was fascinated because of how easy it was for him.

"As I said, intelligent people get carried away by what is logical and, mistakenly, confuse it with what is real," he explained, "They believe that what they have established is the real. The wise know that everything is possible, that anything can escape simple understanding. Breaking a stone like that without powers seems impossible and illogical. What you need to do is analyze the target: there is always a weakness that will destroy it completely. Any technique also has a gap, a weakness"

"Still, how do I get the strength to hit the weak spot?" the chosen boy asked.

"The intelligent people also confuse that answer, their answer is with arduous training to have muscles. Boy, do you really believe that a living being is only matter? What a blind world you have learned from. Now, go into your mind and find the answer."

"Okay, I…"

"Hmm?" Tetsuo muttered.

"I say, I will. I just need a moment to think…"

Dylan sat in thought, looking at the stone and wondering what its weak point was and how he could attack it. He looked up and down the rock, examining each crack to find the one that would reach the heart of the stone: that would be the point he should attack.

"A piece of advice: relax and breathe. Connect with nature," Tetsuo told him, "If you do, you can become one with any part of it. You can be a tree... or a rock, and know its weakness."

"Thank you, I'll... take that into account," Dylan responded, closing his eyes to meditate.

As he had advised him, he breathed deeply to feel one with nature. The air was, without a doubt, refreshing and pure... it didn't take much for him to feel relaxed in the environment. For a moment, he could see the rock as if it were a living being, with something pulsating, like a heart.

"I see!" she exclaimed, attacking the rock with a bare fist.

To his surprise, his fist sank into the rock, as if it were just a mound of snow. When it sank completely, it broke into pieces that scattered in different directions. As he looked at his free hand, Dylan heard some applause from Sensei Tetsuo.

"No bad, you have mastered your spiritual part to achieve that," he told him.

"Thank you. But what was the previous exercise for then?" Dylan asked.

"To see your excellent physical condition: it is perfect, but you had to work on the spiritual part. We are not all matter, a wise Pokemon realizes that, we also have a spiritual part"

Suddenly, an explosion along with movement was heard, coming from the entrance of the village. The next second, a roar was heard.

"Sensei!" Isamu shouted, arriving in a hurry, "There is trouble in the village. A white Garchomp is attacking"

"I have to go," Dylan mentioned.

"If you go, it is very possible that you will die," Tetsuo stopped him, "Do you really have the power to face that enemy?"

Tetsuo's words fell like shackles on Dylan's body.

"Isamu, Dylan," the Sensei continued, "Take the inhabitants out through the secret side exit. I will distract the enemy. Isamu, when you are done, bring me the chest from the altar in the dojo."

"Yes, Sensei," Isamu said. Then he turned to Dylan, "Come rookie, we must get the inhabitants out."

Dylan couldn't believe what he had done: he had left an elderly Sensei to face a Hybrid alone! It's cool that he's a Sensei and all, but... it was crazy!

(Meanwhile...)

The Garchomp Hybrid was attacking and defeating the adult Greninja one by one, they were ensuring that the weakest ones (Frogadier and Froakie) escaped from the place, but the enemy was so strong that they only served as shields.

"Dual Chop!" he attacked.

Two fast blades devastated a group of up to 10 Greninja (which were prepared in advance) and even destroyed several huts until they disappeared into the horizon.

"I love this power. It's funny that they pay me to do this" the Hybrid mocked.

"Receiving a reward at the expense of the suffering of others shows how horrible your spirit is," a voice told him. Finding the bearer, the Hybrid laughed at the sight of old Tetsuo.

"An old man?" He scoffed, "This must be a joke…"

He is so busy taunting that he didn't notice until a strong Water Pulse pushed him against a tree: for an old man, he was quite powerful. Enraged by such humiliation, the Hybrid counterattacked.

"Sand Tomb!"

Shaking his claws away from him, he released a large sandstorm that trapped the old Sensei in a loop, unable to move and with very little air to breathe. It would only be a matter of time before he died.

(On the other hand...)

Isamu and Dylan were supervising the departure of several villagers and helping the injured. However, the chosen boy was worried about Sensei Tetsuo.

"I must go," he said.

"The Sensei ordered the inhabitants to evacuate. As a new apprentice, you must follow the Sensei's orders, didn't he make you see that it would be impossible to win?"

"But aren't you worried that something will happen to him?"

"Yes, he worries me too, but he has no doubt that he will be able to entertain the enemy."

"He has no doubt…" Dylan repeated to himself, realizing his mistake, "…a wise knows. Of course, I let doubts fall on me and I should have simply recognized that he had progressed in my training..."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm going," he replied, fully determined and heading to the site of the battle.

Isamu tried to go too, but reminding him of his Sensei's orders, he headed to the dojo first.

(In the village...)

Sensei Tetsuo was running out of air with every passing second, he could feel the life leaving his body. For his part, the Garchomp was impatient with how long this was going on.

"I'll finish this faster…" he said, preparing to launch a Dragon Claw.

"Water Kunai!"

Dylan suddenly appeared and, with his weapon made of energy and water, destroyed the Sand Tomb from outside, freeing the old Sensei.

"Wow, how timely," the Sensei coughed, his lungs could breathe freely again.

"I'm sorry for the delay," Dylan apologized. Then, he turned to the enemy, "I'll take care of him… Multi water shuriken!"

Dylan threw a shower of water Shuriken on the Garchomp Hybrid, but its body was extremely resistant due to the dragon-type scales. Still not giving up, Dylan threw himself with two water Kunai in his hands.

"Double Team!"

The chosen one created copies of himself, hoping to confuse the Garchomp, but he had a way to take them all away:

"Sandstorm!"

With a single sweep of sand, all the clones disappeared and Dylan was exposed, receiving the enemy's Dragon Claws squarely and being thrown away. However, his determination made him stand up again.

"I must find his weak point…" he thought as he remembered the precise moment where he hit him. Replaying that image in his mind, he saw that his right arm was not falling as fast as his left, which exposed a clean spot on his body, "Well, I guess… no, I know. that that is"

But how to approach that beast? He could try to use power of nature, but the enemy would not give him time to do so.

"Well, then I will kill you first…" the enemy shouted, "Dragon pulse!"

Dylan tried, unsuccessfully, to dodge that powerful attack, and was knocked down with injuries on this occasion. Despite the pain, he had the energy to get up.

"How many more times will you try to defeat me?" the Hybrid mocked.

"I won't try: I WILL defeat you," Dylan said firmly.

The Garchomp started laughing. Meanwhile, Isamu had returned from Sensei Tetsuo's side with the small chest from the dojo.

"Sensei, are you okay?" he asked him.

"Give the box to Dylan," he ordered his disciple.

"Okay," he replied, turning to the chosen one, "Dylan! Take this!"

Isamu tossed the box to Dylan. As soon as he received it, his emblem and the symbol on his chest began to shine uncontrollably and the wooden chest fell apart, revealing the key there. The chosen boy looked at her in amazement and the enemy remained, for some reason, immobilized. The symbol and the stone merged and entered the Pokephone.

"You already have everything you need!" the Sensei shouted at Dylan, "Just apply what you already know!"

"Yes Sensei!" Dylan responded, looking firmly at the enemy, "Time to Mega Evolve!"

Together, Pokephone and emblem shone again, thus making a new change to Greninja.

"Mega Greninja evolves into….Mega Greninja!"

Once the new evolution was over, Dylan couldn't believe the lightness he felt. It was like that feeling of feeling one with nature. For his part, the Garchomp was beginning to appear impatient again.

"I don't care if you evolved again... Dual Chop!"

"Mega Shuriken!" Dylan countered.

The enemy's double blade attack shattered like wood against metal. Likewise, the attack hit the Garchomp's body with a powerful impact, which tried to protect itself with its claws. His chest had a wound that caused him a lot of pain: Dylan had hit his weak spot.

"Damn you!" he shouted, launching himself into the air, "Dragon Pulse!"

With all its energy, the Hybrid launched a colossal attack with the intention of destroying everything and everyone. However, Dylan prepared his best attack, the one that had saved him many times before. However, when he held the spiral ball in his hand, he combined it with spiritual energy, making it of enormous size.

"Receive this!" Dylan exclaimed, launching into his attack, "Mega Aqua Rasengan!"

Without a doubt, that counter was far superior as it ended up engulfing the enemy's attack and Hybrid himself, and then flying into the atmosphere, exploding somewhere in space. Tired, Dylan returned to his Frogadier form.

(Later...)

The inhabitants of the village were busy cleaning up the damage caused by the invader, while another group patrolled outside and fixed new and more discreet traps outside the village, in order to better hide that place. Near the waterfall that was the entrance, Dylan was saying goodbye to Isamu and his Sensei Tetsuo.

"Thank you very much for sharing his wisdom, Sensei," Dylan said, bowing in respect, "I feel one with nature and more determined than ever."

"One more piece of advice: what matters is not the knowledge you have, but what you do with it," Tetsuo advised, "That is the difference between a wise and a intelligent man. Many may have more knowledge you have acquired today, but only a wise person knows what it should be used for. You my friend, are wise to use it to help others"

"I promise to always use it that way, Sensei."

"See you later, pal" Isamu said, shaking his hand, "I can't believe how quick you are to learn. But the next time we meet I swear I will be the Sensei."

"Well, anything is possible," Dylan responded, saying goodbye, "I'm sure we'll see you later, Isamu. See you soon"

With the goodbyes over, Dylan left the village, with greater wisdom than he had when he arrived.
