A.N. — I've got two more members of the Eight Bullets to fire this month (three in total, though). Hopefully, this drabble hits the mark. This character has an interesting name and backstory, yet he never made much of an impression on me when watching the anime.
264. Kendo Rappa/The Rapper
Sometimes Kendo missed the Underground Masquerade. Being the Rapper in the illicit fighting ring was much more in line with his brutal, showmanship nature than the rigid, formal structure of the Shie Hassaikai.
From muscles bulging underneath ripped clothing to his non-deferential nature to the rest of the organization's leadership, Kendo was an odd fit with the rest of the yakuza. He told others that he just wanted the chance to pummel Overhaul into submission one day, but that alone wasn't enough reason to stick around. Truth was, he'd never outgrown his rebellious phase — Kendo relished kicking up trouble.
