Chap. 26
Deciding against a Sailor-Teleport to get everyone back to school - as it might seem too much like an invasion-force, plus, three of the Senshi had woken up a bit queasy for some reason - Usagi lead her gaggle of geese, plus a few ganders, through the mousehole that had brought them to Malfoy Manor. Exiting in through the dungeouns, and returning to their normal-hieghts, Usagi - after a quick-count, turned to Severus and Saeko:
"Snape-Sensei? I - think - I will have need of three pregnancy-tests! Sense-of-smell is not as good as Obaasan's, but? I.. know my senshi! To a point. I will be sending Rei-chan, Minako-chan, ano..", she then looked at Hotaru and Shingo, "Hotaru-chan to infirmary! Saeko-Sensei? I wish for you and Poppie-Sensei to examine them! I will talk to Kumada-San and itouto, myself. Hai."
"As you wish it, Lady Tsukino! So mote it be!" Severus smiled and bowed slightly. And, Saeko curtsied.
"Snape dano!" Usagi added, "I shall have need of yourself and Flitiwicki-Sensei after breakfast! Must cleanse Hogwarts' in preparation for trial of Dumbadoro-baka and accomplices!"
Severus snapped out a salute to the Princess-Royal of Luna:
"So mote it be, your Highness!" Severus smiled.
As Tsukino Usagi, Snape-Mizuno Ami and Mizuno-Snape Saeko were convoying Aino Minako, Hino Rei, and Tomoe Hotaru to the infirmery, they were met in the Nurse's Office by Shinozaki Kennichi.
"Kennichi-san?" Usagi asked. "What are you doing in Nurse' Office?"
Hotaru leaned against Shingo's shoulder and softly giggled in his ear:
"Did Usagi-Hime really ask that? Hihihi.."
"Aneue is just being polite?" Shin smiled. "I think?"
"Makoto-chan..", Shinozaki Kennichi found himself fumbling for his words as he answered the young woman Makoto considered her sister, and foster-mother at times, "was feeling.. a bit.. queasy.. when she awoke.. this morning?"
"'Queasy'?" Usagi asked the young man. "'This morning'?" Then, Usagi starting counting-off each Senshi - including herself - and Naru:
"One - two - three - four - five - six .. seven? I.. guess.. Chibiusa and posse are meant to .. grow up .. together?"
"It would seem so, your Highness?" Poppie came out from the Infirmery. "Congradulations, young Shinozaki! You are going to be a father! As the gods see fit!" She then saw the three young ladies in the care of Usagi and the Snapes. "Three more candidates to look over?"
"Shinozaki Kennichi-San?" Usagi slowly stepped toward the young man with the most-neutral voice and facial-expresion she had. "Are you ready to become otousan?"
"I.. hope Usagi does not come to me like that!" Shingo whined softly. "Facing Haruka and Michiru will be scary enough!"
"Goshinpainaku, Shin-Sama!", Hotaru tried to reassure Usagi's younger brother. "If Haruka or Michiru threaten you? I shall bite their heads off! Literally."
Soon, the Senshi were checked-over and given clean bills-of-health, with the exception of being pregnant, of course. And, Yuuichirou and Shingo followed Usagi dutifully to the great-hall:
"Head to Slytherin Table!" Usagi told the two young men in a voice neither dared to disobey. "I will return after I ..."
Usagi then saw the raven where she would normally have sat.
"'Curiouser and curiouser.'" Usagi quoted Lewis Carroll. "I have seen many owls, here! That is my first raven demo! What is raven doing here? Before owls even deliver mail?"
Quite intrigued by the sight, Usagi sat down next to the bird!
"Definitely raven!" Usagi said as she petted the feathers of the bird. "Not crow! Too big. It.. carries mail? Who uses ravens?"
"Not many in Britian use ravens, Tsukino-Hime!" Minarva McGonigall said as she came to the table. "By Magical-Law, it's a royal-courier!"
After a warning "CRACK!" from the bird, McGonigall slowly removed the message from the raven's pouch. She then handed the letter to Usagi.
"Signed 'Robert the 15th Stewart, Rex Brittania'!" Usagi read the royal-writing. "Thought Britain was ruled by Queen Elizabeth, of Windsor? Says his cousin wants to meet at Buckingham Palace?"
"Ah, yes, Miss Tsukino! Yes!" Professor Flitwick explained. "King Robert is Queen Elizabeth's cousin, several times over! It was in the time of the Stewart-kings when the first Royal of magical-ability in ages stepped up to guide the Magickal Populus! And? Since we've had a tradition of seperation from Muggle Society? The Magical Stewarts agreed to by a kind of 'Shadow-Government', to safely go between our societies! Of course? That does not mean we haven't interacted in times of shared-paril? It is.. just.. those times have been rare."
"When was the last time the societies interacted?" Usagi asked, having read the letter of Robert the 15th through.
"September 1939 to August 1945, your Highness!" Severus Snape answered, the Snapes having joined the table.
"I see. The European War. Ano Pacific War." Usagi pondered a bit. "Amelia Katherina Seraphim? See who is feeling ready to travel! We shall go to London as soon as possible! Shingo, Yuuichiou! You shall accompany your Senshi if they are able to travel! Severus! Filius! While I am gone? I charge you to cleanse Hogwarts' of Dumbadoro's influence! Prepare for trial! Amelia, Ami? Tell Ryu he will be traveling with us!"
"Hai, my Mistress!" Ami happily chirped. "As you so wish!"
"Shin-itouto? Yuui-san?" Usagi took each man's hand. "Guard your Senshi and joji with your souls! We go to Buckingham this afternoon."
Saying this, the Princess of the Lunari than wrote a quick note and placed it, neatly, in the raven's mail-pouch:
"Fly home safe, my friend!"
"Crack..", the raven replied as it flew from Usagi's gentle touch, "TOK!"
After lunch, Usagi and the Innersenshi, Oosaka Naru, and Tomoe Hotaru, plus their boyfriends, with used the Gallilean-mousehole to get to just outside the Buckingham Palace.
"Halt!" A Palace-Gaurd announced. "Who goes there!"
"Tsukino Usagi!" The witchling snapped to attention. "Here at request of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth!"
"Yes! Tsukino Usagi and company! Her Majesty and her cousin have been expecting you!" The Guardsman adressed Usagi. "You and your company may enter! I will escort you to Her Majesty!"
Soon, the Senshi and their Consorts were waiting to see Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II of Muggle-Great Britian and Northern Ireland!
"Pray attend to their Majesties, Elizabeth of Windsor, Regina Britannia, and Robert of Newcastle, Rex Britannia!"
As the Senshi and their companions stood at attention, Elizabeth the 2nd and a slender, greying, elvish-looking gentleman came to sit upon the thrones.
Usagi then bowed gracefully, followed by Mamoru, Ami, Ryu, Naru, Umino, Minako, Yuuichirou, Rei, Makoto, Shinozaki, Hotaru, and Shingo.
"Co-Crowns?" Makoto meeped.
"Makoto-chan?" Rei growled as softly as she could.
"Only at special-occasions." Queen Elizabeth answered.
"'Special'?" Minako lifted up her head to ask. "Howso?"
"Usually, when muggle- and magical-Britian have to work as one." The Queen spoke candidly. "However? My cousin has been watching over me .. ever since Philip died."
"I.. see..", Usagi pondered, nodding to Amelia Katherina Seraphim and to Naru. "Why should magical and muggle-Britain have to work together, now? Does it have to do with the trials about to start? In Scotland?"
"Yes, Your Highness, it does!" Robert spoke. "We NEED the Magical-Subjects of Britian and Ireland to know of the dealings of their 'Savior'! We have it on good authority that if The Dumbledore remains in power? The whole of Britian and Ireland will be on the brink of the bloodiest Civil War in the history of these Islands! And? If Dumbledore's party is allowed to stay in power? The Magicals of the nations around us are more than ready and willing to declare war on what remains of us! It will be a civil-war, followed by a world-war! All because of a power-mad idiot!"
As everyone else went wide-eyed with the shock of Robert's relevation, Usagi nodded as she pondered. "I can believe what you say, Your Majesty! I have seen The Thief in action. Who is in authority to give you this information demo? Who is there to trust in Magical-Britian?"
"My cousin, Robert Euen McFae Stewart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has his agents at Hogwarts! And, I have a friend I can turn to, in times of need." Queen Elizabeth smiled and nodded. "The Agents of the Stewarts are Minerva McGonigall, Filius Flitwick, and Severus Snape. And? My friend is Senator Hino Takeshi, of the Japanese Diet!"
And, Rei jumped at the mention of her father's name!
"NANI YO?! Otousan.. is working.. for...?"
"Not at first, Rei-musume!" The Senator walked into view. "At first? I just came to England to try to speak to you. To try to make amends. I had met the British Queen, before, at official-functions. And? When I made plans to see you? I wrote Her Majesty to see if there were a way to make it to Hogwarts', since it is not shown on any map. Agents of the Malfoys found me after I left the Palace, and.. we know the rest! From what has been said, by many people, before today? Unfortunately, Her Majesty's fears are well-founded! The Great Bearded Goat still has his followers, although many rats have abondoned his ship! Enough are left.. to cause misfortune. To all."
"Hai. Sounds like former-Headmaster-baka." Usagi bowed to Senator Hino, then bowed, again, to their Majesties. "We shall work on the evidence we have! Dumbadoro-baka will go to trial! Magical-Britian and Ireland shall know of his villiany! Thank you, your Majesties! May you, both, be well! We must get back to House Malfoy, and, then, to Hogwarts'." Usagi and her companions then bowed, gracefully, a third time. "Sayonara."
Soon, Usagi and her compnions walked through a mousehole in the Wiltshire countryside, just outside of Malfoy Manor, and right into an semi-circle of drawn wands!
"So much for enjoying a walk in the sunshine!" Usagi groused.
"Tousan?" Rei spoke. "Run! Get to Malfoy Manor!"
"Ryu-koi?" Amelia Katherina Seraphim fearfully-whispered. "We are in fight-for-life!"
"We are in no fight, my Ami-chan!" Ryu softly ressured his love. Then, he softly giggled and pointed to the ambushers. "Heehee. They are!"
"For the great Dumbledor...!" The leader raised her wand manacingly.
Her command was cut short, however, as three young warriors, two girls and a boy, started using karate to remove - and shatter - fifteen drawn wands!
And, fifteen would-be ambushers fell to the ground, writhing in pain and dilirium, from the sudden-shattering of their magical-conduits.
The three young witches-in-training slowed their movements gracefully, though still quickly, and looked down at their opponents:
"Ten Seconds?" Hermoine smiled and nodded to Harry and Luna. "My Mistress told me that Karate would be useful against magic! Now, I realize what she meant! No one had the time to utter a spell, much less cast one!"
"Well?" Harry said with an edge in his voice, "They are your CLASSIC-Gryffendors! Actually, they are more like Ronald and Ginerva PREWITT! Refuse to call them 'Weasley'! That would just ruin Arthur's and Charlie's good name."
"That's a thrice-told truth, if it was ever told!" Luna Lovegood commented as she picked up the kindling that had been wands. "Speaking of good names, I do hope none of these are Ollivander's wands! And? Of a truth, it looks like these idiots will be in Nurse Pomfrey's care for quite some time! At least a week, maybe even three?"
"You are right, my cousin!" Draco Malfoy answered Luna as he walked up the road, followed by Blaise Zabini."Dad has always said the best way to fight was to strike first and fast! If you break their wand, fast? They not only loose their line-of-thought, but? They, also, tend to lose the ability to get it back!"
"Too true, Heir Draco!" Blaise smiled and chuckled. "My mother says she remembers wizards and witches of even her and your father's caliber being in comas for two moons after being in this furious a fight! And? These - fighters - were no where NEAR our parents' abilities!"
"I wouldn't even all these ambushers 'fighters', gentlemen!" Amelia Katherine Seraphim responded.
"I quite agree with you, Miss Snape!" Hermoine huffed out.
"Truly!" Luna observed. "But, just for the sake of argument, what would you call these things?"
Usagi, the Senshi, and their allies gave an enthusiastic shout in response:
"DO-RAGON CHOW!"
After seeing Senator Hino safely to Malfoy Manor, and his Father-in-Law - and watching an aged Shinto-Priest amazingly settle his volcanic temper - the Senshi, Naru, and their boyfriends (plus three potential MMA-Fighters) made it back to Hogwarts' with the unconscious would-be assassins:
"And WHAT, pray tell me," Snape growled out dangerously as McGonigall gasped, "happened to THEM?" Severus pointed to the unconscious witches dumped on the floor.
"This happened, Professor Snape!" Hermoine said as she, Harry, and Luna handed the Potions'-Master and - now - Deputy-Headmaster (under Minerva McGonigall) small bundles of wands,
now kindling.
"Princess Usagi and her friends were ambushed on their way back to Malfoy Manor, Professor Snape." Luna Lovegood dutifully reported.
"Hard-core Gryffendors." McGonigall scowled as she looked over the would-be assassins. "Were the girls or their boyfriends injured, in any way?"
"No, Head-Mistress!" Harry honestly said. "The assassins never got the chance to even utter their curses."
"Well?" Filius Flitwick said dismisssvely. "Get these low-borne ruffians to Poppie and Puppie! With any luck? These idiots will be lucid by the time Graduation comes around! Next year."
"Ara..", Usagi slowly asked. "'Poppie'.. ano "Puppie'? Since...?"
"Since at LEAST her days in Hogwarts, your Highness!" Snape admitted, with a small smile. "I think? For as long as I've known her, My Saeko has has been a bit.. timid? If left-alone for any great length of time. Yes. She would be rather whimpery and whiney by the time the Sisters Black or Poppie would return to her! There were even derisive-comments made .. that my Saeko was placed in the wrong House! That she should have gone in Gryffendor. She would have died in Gryffendor. My Saeko never had that many friends in Hogwarts, and never made the few friends she DID have very easily!"
"Still that way, hai. In Tokyo." Ami timidly admitted. "Both that way, kaasan and me, tousan."
And Usagi, Mamoru, Ryo, Naru, and Umino - and Makoto, Shinozaki, Rei, Minako, Luna, Hermione, and Harry - gathered in a tight semi-circle around the bluenette.
"Severu-tousan?" Usagi asked, as she held on protectively to Amelia Katherine Seraphim, "How.. long.. did it take.. you ano Saeko-kaasan.. to become friends?"
"Me and my Sae-chan?" Severus Snape smiled in memory. "Three and a half years!"
"Come." Amelia Katherine Seraphim said quietly, "Let us get baka-tachi to nurse' office."
"We shall talk, later, Snape-Sensei!" Usagi said as she and Ami bowed. "Get Grief-fendoro to medical-wing! Let nurses decide.. what is best to do!"
As the Senshi and their teen-allies made their way to the Nurse' Office, Minerva turned to face Severus:
"Professor Snape? Even with my distaste for the besmirching of the reputation of Gryffendor by those who are Pro-Dumbledor, I do so hope those idiots will survive long enough to actually learn something!"
"Do not worry yourself, Head-Mistress! Dispite their distrust of the old 'Goat'? Niether Usagi nor my Amelia, nor their posse, would dare harm those Dunderheads! Dumbledore's party needs no Martyrs. And ? The Senshi know it!"
"That is good to know, Severus! But?" Minerva spoke, "I was speaking of Madame Pomfrey!"
"I know." Severus grinned and bowed to Minerva.
Soon, "Usagi, Senshi, and Company" (as Tsukino Shin was starting to address the "Wrecking Crew" - Hotaru's words), was leaving the "poor excuses for assassins" (Makoto's and Minako's words) with a letter penned and signed by Tsukino Usagi and initialed by Amelia Katherine Seraphim Snape-Mizuno:
"Keep these Baka alive long enough to fail school!"
Soon? Poppie Pomfrey came into the reception-area, followed Dutifully by Snape Saeko, swaying ever-so-slightly and barefoot.
"Kaasan does not like shoes." Ami blushed lightly and smiled, looking doen at her own bare feet. "Feels freer! Hai."
"Ah! Orders from their Highnesses!" Poppie smiled. "Any particular reason the trouble-makers are being allowed to live, Madame Tsukino?"
"Two!" Usagi nodded sharply. "One? Dumbadoro-supporters do not need Martyrs! Iyaa! Two? I am feeling mean!"
Both Saeko and Ami, at that point, both got on their hands and knees and started to circle and yip around Poppie and Usagi!
"Ara.. who was.. Mizuno-kaasan's.. Sensei..", Usagi asked Poppie, "before Snape-tousan?"
"Sae-chan was my responsibility! Hihihi!" Poppie, somehow, managed to answer before Saeko's tonguetip behind her knees dropped the head-nurse to the floor. "Mine and,
Hihihi, the Narcissa and Be.. Be.. Bellatrix.. Black! Hihihi!" Then she addressed her playful, wiggly Assistant:
"Hahaha! You're a bad girl, Sae-chan, a VERY bad girl! And? I love to for it! Now, Come along! Stand up, you! Let's get these ruffians into their beds. Maybe, we'll even remember to feed them when they wake up, finally, my Saeko?!"
"Yip, yip, yip!" Saeko yapped and danced, excitedly.
"Like kaasan, like musume?" Usagi smiled.
And Rei, Minako, Makoto, and Hermoine dropped on all fours, started yipping and wagging their bottoms, and started chasing Ami around Usagi!
"Nuts do not fall far from tree!" Usagi giggled as she looked to the rest of her Posse. "Mizunos are CONTAGEOUS!"
That evening, in Professor Snape's living quarter's, Usagi, Mamoru, Ami, Ryu, Naru, and Umino were having dinner and snacks - and conversation and laughs - with Severus and Saeko:
"Gomennisssai for asking this, Professor ano Doctor Snape," Usagi asked, "especially since you seem perfect man-and-wife! Why did it take so long for you to start relationship demo?"
"Hime is part-kyongshi?" Naru grinned as Umino tried to squelch a sudden giggle!
"Hagrid Naru-chan?" Usagi started to rise-up. "In place of the Moon, I will...!"
And Naru and Umino, along with Ami and Ryu, were grinning, waiting for Usagi, a la Sailormoon, to finish her speech.
"I.. will.. try to forget what I almost say!" Usagi whined. Then, she muttered:
"Anything I said could and would be held against me in court-of-law!"
Severus chuckled, and his wife grinned knowingly.
Mamoru, Amelia Katherine, and Ryu offered smiles of sympathy to Usagi.
"Was just... curious?" Usagi meeped, turning pink as a radish.
"Too much like kyongshi!" Umino giggled.
"Too much.. Mizuko?" Amelia Katherine grinned, looking to her father and mother, and then to Ryu.
"As much Mizuko as Doragon! Hai!" Usagi chirped with sudden family-pride.
"With Lunarian?" Mamoru smiled lazily, "DANGEROUS combination!"
"Hey!" Usagi stuck her tongue out at her boyfriend. "Mamo-kun must deal with 'Dangerous combination'!"
"Hai! I do dano!" Mamoru defended himself. "Would rather deal with Michiru ano Haruka! Less chance of injury!"
And, Usagi and Amelia Katherine burst into laughter!
"Heheehee!" Severus finally calmed his own laughter. "What.. what.. did.. you wish to know.. Hime?"
"Arigatounissai, Snape-Sensei!" Usagi bowed to her future-Father-in-Law. "Why did it take so long for you ano Saeko-Sama to wed?"
"Ah, yes." Severus smiled. "It was.. not.. the proper-time, Usagi-Hime, I'm sorry to say. It had been three years since... Lily said that I was becoming too much like the rest of Slytherin..."
"'Death-Eaters' were her words, my Severu!" Saeko snapped out, then immediately looked at Severus as if to ask forgiveness.
"Do not worry, my Seako!" Severus responded, as he moved to soothe a visibly-shaken Saeko. "Despite being an A-Plus student in Charms and Incantations? Lily Rose Evens was not the best at choosing her words when defending her beliefs! That was one area where her brain, sadly, worked in reverse. It, also, did not help that - like unto MOST Gryffendors, she WORSHIPPED the quicksand Albus Dumbledore WALKED on! No, no. It turned out mine and Lily's feelings were never to meet."
"At least, she had the brain-power to ask you to watch over Harry-kun!" Saeko Snapped-out. "Speaks for her having SOME brains! Better choice for gaurding Potta Harry then Blacka Siri-san! Good man! Already cursed with babysitting Blacka Persi-baka! Baka baka baka!"
"Truer words, my Saeko, have never been uttered!" Severus held his wife lightly from behind.
"Anyhow! As for me, Usagi-chan? Much too shy around boys at Hogwarts dano!" Saeko admitted to Usagi, albeit quietly. "Did not help that I was young, and foriegn-born! Most of Slytherin-house my age were already spoken-for, and Ravanclaw was too busy studying! That left baka-tachi no Gryffenda ano Huffapuffa! Iiede! So? I just stay shy. Then? Blacka Sisters ano Poppie-chan decide to adopt me! Kukukukuku.. follow them around so much, started hearing myself called 'puppy'! Especially, when around Poppie-aneue. Kukuku! Also started being called Yuri. Hai. Did I like girls? Hai. Easier to make friends with girls than with boys! Not all girls! Not Lily Evan-sama. Not at first. Biggest Cheerleader of 'Greatest Wizard since Merlin'! Started.. looking at Severu.. after I heard Evans left him for someone else. When I find out what Severu was really like. Become his defender, then fall in love wth him! We finally married after we move to America! Best move I make. Hai."
Then, morning cups and mugs were raised:
"Here! Here! To the Family Snape!"
And, then, Usagi reached out across the table and gently caressed Amelia Katherine's hand, and softly whispered:
"Here's to Amelia Katherina Sarephim Snape-Mizuno! Welcome home, my Ami."
Ami looked into Usagi's eyes, softly smiled. And, started to catch her breath:
'Damnit! All my Hime is doing is holding my hand and smiling.. and, I'm going to orgasm!'
And Uwada Ryo, ever-shy from his pre-cognitive-abilities, looked at his Amelia Katherina Seraphim, then to Serevus and Saeko, then to Usagi, and then to Mamoru. And, he smiled happily! Yes, he was in the family he had always dreamed of, and hoped for!
