(Chapter 23: Nowhere to Run, Part 1)

(At the Gluttony Ring..)

A few hellbound babes rushed to jump into a pool of what was beelze juice. Vortex cannonball from a diving board, causing some of the juice to splash onto Moxxie who was wearing nothing but a pair of blue trunks. ''Satan's asscrack!'' He exclaimed. With his white hair now dripping Moxxie approached his lovely wife who was sunbathing on a chaise lounge. As he sat down next to Millie he watched as Loona and Octavia playfully splashed each other with Beelze juice as their snorting laughter and giggles filled the air. With a relaxed sigh, Moxxie laid back to enjoy the sun. After all that has happened, this was definitely something he needed.

Peering down from one of the windows of BeezleBub's party house was Lucifer Morningstar. As he took another sip of wine glass of beelze juice, he turned his head as Queen BeezleBub kicked open the door. ''Wooh, the party's buzzin now! Say Lucy, how come you're not joining in with the fun? Someone's chugging down a whole bowl of ice cream.'' Lucifer then glanced at Queen BeezleBub for a moment. ''I'm sorry, but I do not waste such time with low, dirty commoners.'' He said. Queen BeelzeeBub stood behind Lucifer slack jawed before shaking her head. ''Well damn sugarcup! Talk about a mood killer! Why don't you loosen up a bit? I'm tasting bad vibes from you and it's kind of ruining the fun atmosphere I have around here..''. Lucifer then placed his empty wine glass onto a nearby table. ''Getting drunk is not what I'm here for. I am more fucking concerned about a possible intrusion of my domain. And it appears that a few misbehaving imps have lost the grimoire of the Ars Goetia family. And it seems that they have been running a business without my knowledge…'' Lucifer Morningstar said as he approached Queen BeelzeBub. ''And you had led them straight here…'' Backing away, BeezleBub quickly tried to make an exit through the doorway only for Lucifer to wickedly smile and use the power of his apple staff to magically shut the doors in front of her face. ''You have shown nothing but dishonor to your name.'' Lucifer Morningstar spoke gravely. ''I see that you are no different than those filthy commoners. Disobedient. You are a disgrace! Much like that worthless, blue blooded prince!'' Lucifer Morningstar yelled. Queen Beezlebub kept her head down as her hands slowly began to clench from the anger that built up inside her. Suddenly, Queen BeezleBub turned and lunged forward at Lucifer Morningstar with a tightened fist. The king of Hell then quickly casted powerful red lightning bolts from the fingers of one of his hands. The impact violently launched her back to a corner of the room. Her back quickly hit a wall as her body slid back onto the floor. ''I am your god! You are powerless against me!'' Lucifer Morningstar roared. He casted more lightning bolts from his hand, electrifying Queen BeezleBub to death. Her blood-curdling scream of agony quickly grabbed everyone's attention at the pool. Octavia, Loona, Millie, and Moxxie both looked up to one of the windows of the building. ''Is that BeezleBub?'' Millie said worringly. The group of hellhounds including the I.M.P quickly rushed out of the pool. As Millie got herself up by the ledge of the pool, a chained sickle was thrown. It swiftly wrapped itself around her leg, pulling her to the ground. As Moxxie ran he could hear the desperate cries of his wife. ''Millie!'' He said. He rushed to her aid. Octavia watched as another chained sickle was thrown. It went toward her face only for Loona to swiftly sidekick it away. It redirected into a nearby tree, the curved blade getting stuck into its brown trunk. As the chains dangled below Moxxie and Millie, a sudden faint whistle could be heard from the forest behind the fence of the pool. With a violent yank the chained sickle was pulled back. Lobo swiftly caught the weapon as he stood in the dark forest. A smile formed on his snouted lips as his and a few other eyes glowed in the shadows. He stepped out as Crimson, Martha, and the cherubs followed him. Moxxie's eyes widened at the mere sight of seeing his father again. ''Dad?'' He said distraught. ''Yeah, It's been awhile kid.'' Crimson said. ''The wedding's off, but there's this one last thing that I have to do.'' Crimson revealed a blessed flintlock. ''And that is getting rid of you..'' Crimson then raised the flintlock and aimed toward Moxxie. Millie ran and pushed Moxxie out of the way as soon as the gun fired. The holy bullet struck Millie by her right arm as both of them fell into the pool of beezle juice. ''No hay ningún lugar para correr birdie'' Lobo grinned evilly. Swiftly twirling his chained sickles, he quickly lunged one of them toward Octavia. Loona jumped, catching the chains midair with her mouth as she landed back to the ground. As she tugged back Lobo angrily grunted. Crimson and Martha stood by the edge constantly firing into the pool. Millie swam down with Moxxie to the bottom, watching as the holy bullets hit the surface and float down. With brute strength Lobo pulled back as Loona's paws slid against the concrete as she was violently flung to the nearby fence on her back. As she tried to stand up she was immediately pushed back down by one of Lobo's feet. ''And you call yourself an assassin?'' He taunted with a chuckle. ''Your father would be so disappointed.'' Loona then snarled. ''You don't know shit about my dad you shitty pompous fuckface!'' Loona bent one of her legs hitting Lobo with a kick to the face. He stepped back as Octavia quickly jumped onto his shoulders latching herself onto him. She screamed as she began to dig into death's eyes. Lobo howled in pain. ''Agh! Get off of me you small parasite! I said get off of me!''

''Screw you!'' Octavia talked back.

''My eyes! Agh! My eyes!'' Lobo screamed.

With Octavia now riding on Lobo's shoulders, they suddenly came running towards Crimson and Martha crashing onto them. Their weapons flew into the air from impact, splashing into the pool and disappearing to the bottom. ''Get off of me you stupid fucking mutt!'' Crimson said. ''Your ass is on my face!''

''Look! They're gettin' away!'' Martha pointed as Loona, Octavia, Moxxie, and Millie rushed out of the gate entrance of the pool. ''After 'em!'' Crimson yelled. As the cherubs and villains followed, the I.M.P ran towards BeezleBub's party house only to find there was complete chaos inside. Flames continued to engulf everything as bodies upon bodies of dead hellhounds scattered all across the first floor of the building. And standing at the center of all of it, was Lucifer Morningstar himself. He had restrained Queen BeelzeBub, having her sit by her knees as an angelic blade was placed across her neck. ''Let this be a lesson to all those who disobey me.'' Lucifer spoke. ''BeelzeBub!'' Loona cried out. She tried to run only for Lucifer to create a line of fire blocking her from reaching her friend. ''Uh-uh. Not another step.…'' He then raised the blade up at BeezleBub's throat.

Loona growled angrily at Lucy. ''Let her go, now…'' She said through her bared teeth. Lucifer Morningstar then chuckled. ''Please, Loonie, go now, go with your friends. Save yourselves while you can..'' Queen BeezleBub pleaded. ''You heard her lapdog.'' Lucifer taunted with a smile on his face. ''Run away like the cowards you all are…''

''No!'' Moxxie said sternly as he stepped forward. ''We will no longer submit in fear to you!''

Lucifer's face then angrily frowned. ''Do you know who you are speaking to, little wretch?''

''I'm the ruler of all the nine rings, the destroyer of light, I am the creator of all hellborns in this realm. I am hell itself! Against me, you are nothing, here, I am your god!'' Lucifer Morningstar yelled out at the I.M.P. ''Buttercup!'' A voice called out from the second floor. Lucifer and BeezleBub then turned their heads to see Vortex rushing down the stairs wielding a baseball bat. ''Oh no you don't!'' Lucifer casted red lightning bolts at Vortex creating an impact that caused the stairs to explode and throw Vortex into the air and onto the floor with the burning debris. BeezleBub freed herself from the restraints, violently striking Lucifer with a bent elbow to the face. She grabbed him by his shirt, flipping his body over and slamming his body down to the ground. Lucifer lost his grip of his angelic sword causing it to slide over to the I.M.P. As Moxxie grabbed hold of the blade BeezleBub stood over Lucifer striking him down with each blow of her clenched fists. Lucifer screamed out in anger, his body suddenly emitting a powerful blast of fire that sent Beelzebub into the air. She landed back on the floor rolling across the debris. Lucifer stood with the side of his mouth dripping with black blood as Moxxie charged forward with the angelic sword. Lucifer swiftly twirled his apple staff and swung it across the small possum's legs causing him to tip forward and fall and slide onto the floor on his face. As Moxxie struggled to get up Lucifer violently kicked him back down with an angry grunt. ''Moxxie!'' Millie cried out. With a smile on his face, Lucifer wiped the blood away from his mouth with one arm. He then tipped Moxxie over with one of his legs, quickly grabbing him by the throat and lifting him up into the air. ''You should know better than to rebel against me, you little worm.'' Moxxie struggled to gasp for air as his little legs frantically flailed about in the air. ''So much for your bravery..''. The angelic sword was suddenly levitated from off the ground as Lucifer swiftly caught it by its handle. He turned and raised the blade to strike a final killing blow. He cackled loudly, his irises just as red as fiery brimstone. Millie, Loona, and Octavia turned their heads to the sound of the front doors opening behind them. Crimson stood smiling with the other villains, aiming a blessed flintlock pistol at the I.M.P gang. ''Nowhere to run anymore…it's all over for you.'' Crimson smirked.
