After this the fun parts can begin, now that the stage is fully set.
One month, one single month, gave Naruto enough time to determine that everyone he had ever met was garbage. Iruka was a failure of a mentor and false friend that only helped him with it was convenient. Kakashi was just a waste of space that played favorites. And Jiraiya was even worse, stealing his money for his whorish pursuits, actively endangering him by being not training him. Of course that made the third even worse, somehow, a man of no convictions. Naruto hated him, all of them.
Through his clones and his mother's masterful knowledge, and Kurama ( the Fox demanded he call him that after the first week) being the badass mentor he was, Naruto had changed in ways that no one could have predicted.
He had mastered his chakra, using his mother's methods designed for high Uzumaki/Jinchuuriki reserves. He worked his ass off to master all he could in that department, and boy it showed. With practiced ease, he could skate on the waters, stick to any surface, enhance his strength and use a rasengan in each palm. It was amazing, the itchy feeling beneath his skin was entirely gone and in it's place was the warm, powerful flow of chakra well controlled.
After tens of thousands of hours, Naruto had reached a level of taijutsu technical skill surpassing Lee. His mother's seals helped him grow stronger, as did his new diet. Mixing his Kenjutsu practice and sparring with his clones, and he was on a whole new level. He knew that he was stronger than his entire graduating class, and by miles.
He could pull water from leaves, split them with Wind chakra ( which was his mom's second element) and so many other things. He had fifteen jutsu under his belt, mastered to a T! He was so far beyond what he once was, it was sickening.
Nothing expanded more than his mind, from seal training to having him read through random books at local libraries to his mother's memories. Naruto was a new mind, a new person.
That being said he what he was really lacking was experience. He needed it, and it needed to be soon.
So he had an idea... a brilliant, simple idea...
And it was tonight, while the moon was high in the sky, that he was bound to do it.
The moment he felt Jiraiya's presence falling out of awareness, Naruto moved. Pulling out a pre-made seal, he slipped out of the room, rushed into the darkness of the night sky and placed it down by the river running near the village they were "Training" by. Running through fifty handsigns, he poured chakra in from the Fox and added a droplet of blood. "Summoning Severing Seal!"
His blood boiled as the summon contract tying him to the Toads was entire destroyed...
"I am free... no one to tell me what to do, where to be, and what do... I am free." Crying, he created one last clone, charged with Kurama's chakra. "Keep Jiraiya busy until Noon, then poof away. By that time, I will be long gone."
The clone hurried back to their idiot captor. As soon as that happened, Naruto created fifty clones and bolted in a million different directions. The real him, charged with Kurama's power, blasted off at speeds comparable to some Kage. It was only when Dawn came that he channeled that same chakra into a seal masking his true self. His new face, was Haku's, only with his mother's red hair and her beautiful blue eyes. Only a handful knew what either looked like, so no one would ever guess it was him.
With that, he rushed to his newest objective, the Land of Whirlpools, his mother's old home, eager to find something, anything to gain the power needed to overcome the evils of the world coming to destroy him and Kurama.
:::
"Goodbye, Pevy Sage."
Jiriaya jumped at Naruto's words, their cold claim hitting him hard. " What are you talking bout, brat?"
Naruto's smile was cold, malicious and not far off from Orochimaru. " I am leaving you, to go travel. You've barely taught me anything, ever. I refuse to waste my time with you. I will be coming back only when it is time for me to. Oh and don't bother reverse summoning me, I severed my ties to the Toads. Useless creatures they were, barely helpful to me."
Jiraiya laughed. "You'd never have the power to-" Naruto suddenly exploded, with so much force that it actually sent Jiraiya flying back, cut up badly. Eyes wide, Jiraiya quickly looked at his scroll, only to see Naruto's name was entirely gone, all traces of his fingerprints evaporated... "How?" A single piece of paper, in place of Naruto's exploding clone, fluttered to the ground. Picking it up, Jiraiya was horrified at what he saw.
Good luck finding me... I won't give all my secrets, I know better. However, what I can say is this. Kushina left me a gift, a blessing, and now I am no longer the ignorant little shit I once was. Eager to take the abuse of the world for some false love. I am Naruto Uzumaki, or Namikaze, whichever you prefer.
Jiraiya choked at that, "He knows!"
I will only return when it is time, but feel fry to try and find me... I welcome the challenge.
Goodbye, you waste of space...
And like that, Jiriaya knew he was so, so deeply, fucked. "Tsunade is going to kill me...I need to find Naruto, fast. All the stops, how hard can he be to find. What did Kushina give him, what blessing... kami this is going to be hard."
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was a joy to write.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
Mika.
