"And after that, we retreated to Urahara Shop." Rukia said as she was reporting to the Soul Society thanks to a special screen she had. She was reporting to Shunsui Kyoraku about what has happened so far.

"So, the enemy is attacking the World of the Living as well. On top of that, Ichigo and his friends have lost their powers as well. This isn't good for us." Shunsui said.

"Rukia!" She heard someone call for her and saw her husband jump into the screen talk to her. "Did I hear that right?! You and Ichika were attacked and you were kidnapped?! Are you and Ichika hurt?!"

"I'm fine, Renji, as you can see." Rukia said. "Ichika is fine, too. She's still asleep since we had a long day yesterday."

"But Ichigo doesn't have his powers anymore, and neither do you! That's it! I'm coming over to Karakura to make sure you and Ichika are protected!" Renji said as he was greatly concerned for his family's wellbeing.

"Calm down, Renji. Even without his powers, Ichigo isn't going to let anything happen to me or Ichika." Rukia said. "Besides, we do have an ally on our side. She's a fellow soul reaper, but those strange crystals don't work on her. I've seen her in action as well. It looks like she can hold her own in a fight and is quite powerful."

"Another soul reaper?" Shunsui questioned. "I don't remember sending anyone else down there, especially if it's a powerful one."

"I know it might sound strange, but trust on this Head Captain Kyoraku." Rukia said. "We can trust her. Ichigo clearly does, and I trust Ichigo. At the moment, she's also the only one that might be able to help us."

"Okay, Rukia. It's not safe to constantly travel between the Soul Society and the World of the Living anyway." Shunsui said. "Whatever is going on down there, I'll trust you. Just be careful since you don't have your own powers to help you."

"That's why I should be down there to help her!" Renji said.

"Renji, calm down. I can take care of myself, even without my powers." Rukia said. "Nothing is going to happen to me or Ichika, and you are much more needed there. As your wife, I'm asking you to help our friends in the Seireitei. As one of the captains, I'm ORDERING you to remain where you are until I return." Renji knew he had no hope of winning an argument when his wife is also a captain.

"Fine. Just promise me you'll be careful." Renji said. Rukia understood and is going to do what she can to make sure she and her daughter come back to him.

"You can't blame him for being a concerned husband and father." Kisuke said once the transmission stopped. "You can be so strict, Rukia. It's a mystery you did managed to get married."

"You want to say that again, or are you letting me know that you finally found some good news." Rukia said with annoyance.

"Actually, I do...in a way." Kisuke said as he might have found something to smile about.

...

The Kurosakis

"Kazui, come down for breakfast!" Orihime said with Kazui coming on down. He came on down, but he looked around no sign of Kalia.

"Where's Kalia?" Kazui said.

"I saw her head on up the stairs. Actually, she should have come down." Orihime said. "I hope she's okay. She's been rather quiet since that mean girl tried to trick her into going home. Kazui, could you be a dear and find her? Go see if she needs anything."

"Okay!" Kazui said as he went back upstairs and went looking for her. When he went upstairs, Orihime looked and saw that Kalia wasn't the only one with a lot on her mind. She saw that something appeared to be other Ichigo as well.

"Are you okay?" Orihime asked.

"If I'm being honest, no." Ichigo said. "I hate this situation. I'm watching all this stuff going on and can't do anything about it. I have to watch my daughter from another dimension fight these guys when it should be me out there. I feel... I feel so helpless." Ichigo really hates what he's seeing, but there's nothing he can do about it. "I haven't felt this frustrated and useless since that time I lost my powers after Aizen, but that whole thing with Xcution was going on."

"I know." Orihime said as she placed her hand over his. "I don't like that I don't have my powers either, but it doesn't mean we can't help. We'll just have to try and think differently. Try and think of other ways we can help. Uryu did that by using his skills as a doctor, and it was because of him that Kalia wasn't tricked so easily."

"Yeah... I suppose you're right." Ichigo said. He just wishes he knew what he could do to help. Meanwhile, Kalia was doing some thinking. That fake offer had her wondering if she's really going to get home. It has her wondering if she even could get home. What is she going to do if she can't?

"There you are!" Kalia got spooked when she saw Kazui right next to her as she didn't expect him at all.

"Kazui! What are you doing?!" Kalia said. "Don't tell me you climbed up here. It's dangerous for a kid like you."

"You did it." Kazui said.

"Yeah, but I'm taller and tougher." Kalia said.

"Hey! What are you doing up here, kid? It's dangerous!" Kon said as he climbed his way up to the roof. "Oh! Hi, Kalia! What are you doing up here?"

"Just doing some thinking." Kalia said as she stared up at the sky.

"Thinking about me?" Kon flirted.

"Are you thinking about home again? You still miss it?" Kazui questioned.

"How about that. The kid is smarter than the perverted stuffed animal." Kalia mocked. "I know it was an enemy trick, but I almost fell for it. I could have returned home. As much as I want to stay and help you guys out with what's going on, I wish I did have a way to return to my home. What if... What if I can't return home?"

"But isn't Mr. Urahara working on a way to do just that?" Kazui asked.

"Yeah, but I'm not sure if even he could do something like that." Kalia said. "If I can't go back, what am I going to do? I can't live my life here. I don't even exist in this world." It is rather depressing because there is a possibility Kalia really can't return to her own world.

"You still have us." Kazui said as he placed his hand on her. It was rather weird. They're from different worlds, but Kazui keeps acting like he's her actual little brother. There is a bit comfort in Kalia for that. Just then, out of nowhere, Kislin appeared and grabbed a hold of Kazui. Before Kalia could even do anything, Kislin kicked Kalia and tried to knock her off the roof, but she grabbed the ledge.

"You're coming with me, kid!" Kislin said as he jumped off the roof and moved from one building to the next.

"Kazui!" Kalia called.

"Oh man! This isn't good!" Kon said.

"Kon, you tell them what's going on! I'm going after that psycho clown!" Kalia said as she dropped down from the roof and turned into a soul reaper. Once she did that, she started to chase after Kislin. Kislin took Kazui further and further away. "Hold it, you clown! Get back here and give me back Kazui!"

"Come and get him!" Kislin said as he was starting to move farther and farther away.

"Damn him! You just messed with the wrong soul reaper! Bankai!" Kalia wasn't playing around as she instantly changed into her bankai. With Kalia's enhanced speed because of her bankai, she instantly got in front of him and tried to stop him. "That's far enough!"

"I don't think so!" Kislin said as he held his scythe out and tried to strike her with it. Kalia took her sword and was able to block his attack and she carefully knocked him back. Kislin was knocked to the ground, but he was able to land on his feet with Kalia landing down across from him. 'I've got to be careful with how I do this. If I put out too much power, I could end up hurting Kazui.'

"At least I got your attention." Kislin said as he kept a firm hold on Kazui with one arm.

"Let him go or else." Kalia said.

"Not a chance. This kid is the perfect shield to use against you." Kislin said. "In fact, I think you should stay perfectly still while I..." He was going to try and threaten Kalia with Kazui, but Kazui wasn't going to let that happen and bit down on Kislin's hand. "Yeow! Ow! Ouch! Hey! Cut it out, you little brat!" Kislin pleaded as he waved his arm around with Kazui having a vice-like grip with his teeth.

"Kazui, let go!" Kalia called. Kazui did what Kalia said as he released his grip, but was sent flying. When that happened, Kalia caught him. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, but that tasted nasty." Kazui complained.

"Ooh! Ooh!" Kislin moaned as he waved his hand around. "I can't believe that little bastard actually bit me!"

"I had to. You wanted to use me against Kalia." Kazui said.

"Cheeky little brat." Kislin said. "Oh well. I was planning to kill both of you anyway!" Kislin skipped straight to the kill as he swung his scythe right at Kalia, but Kalia easily deflected it.

"That all you got?" Kalia said.

"This should be fun." Kislin said as he laughed like the jester he was. Kislin kept swinging his scythe around to try and land a strike, but Kalia was able to block each one of his attacks. Kislin was taking delight in what he was doing as he kept the attacks going. Then, he jumped up in the air and flipped around until he came straight down with his scythe ready to strike. Kalia used Flash Step and avoided him as he crashed against the ground. Kalia kept a good distance from him while keeping a firm grip on Kazui.

"Kalia, maybe you should let me go. I can run straight back home." Kazui said.

'Not a bad idea, but after what happened with Masco, they might know that Kazui has some unusual powers himself. It might not be safe for Kazui to be alone now.' Kalia thought.

"Come on. Are you going to fight? Let's make this a real show! Let's make this fun!" Kislin said as he charged straight at her again. He held his scythe straight out and thrusted it forward. Kalia held up her sword and tried to block it, but Kislin smashed against it and kept pushing. Kalia tried to hold her ground, but Kislin was stronger than he looked as he began pushing her back. Kislin's laughter irritated Kalia, but she tried to keep her focus.

"Shut it already!" Kalia said as she was able to push his scythe away. She spun around and tried to kick him, but Kislin jumped back. "You really are whacked, aren't you? You're laughing like a hyena."

"What can I say? There's nothing like the sight of someone dying by my own hands...slowly and painfully." Kislin said like he was savoring those words.

"Are you kidding me? You actually enjoy something like that?" Kalia said. "I've heard of psycho clowns, but seeing one like you is something else. The Jigoku really messed you up."

"The Jigoku? Oh no. I was like this even before I met them." Kislin said. "I just find that there's something...invigorating about killing someone. In fact, it was the feeling of excitement I get from this that brought Oromaus to me in the first place."

"That sounds... That sounds horrible." Kazui said. "You really enjoy doing something like that?"

"Of course. Let me show you!" Kislin said as he tried attacking again.

"No you don't!" Kalia said as she unleashed some of power in a strike. She launched some of that power through her sword and tried to stop him, but Kislin jumped right over it. Kislin jumped over Kalia and tried swinging his scythe at her. Kalia ended up getting slashed at her back and took some damage from that.

"Kalia! Are you hurt?!" Kazui said.

"No... It's nothing." Kalia said as she tried to hold strong.

"That was stupid." Kislin said. "You moved and took the attack...to protect the kid. If you hadn't moved the way you did, the little kid would have taken that attack instead of you. You just ended up shielding him and for what?"

"Are you some kind of idiot? He's just a kid." Kalia said. "Of course I would protect him." The truth is that Kalia completely moved on instinct. She used her body like a shield without even thinking.

"Of course Kalia would protect me because she's my sister!" Kazui said.

"Kazui..." Kalia said as she was amazed Kazui was still saying that, but Kislin just laughed.

"Sister? She's not even from this dimension." Kislin said. "That just sound stupid. Either way, I found an opening." Kislin moved as fast as he could and got right next to them as he was aiming for Kazui once again. "Aim for the kid and I'll surely kill one of you!" Kislin was going for the kill once again, but Kalia wasn't going to let that happen. She acted fast and managed to get out of the way before any harm could be done.

"Bastard. Don't you have any shame?" Kalia said as she glared right at him.

"I was once a serial killer. What do you think?" Kislin claimed.

"I think you feel nothing considering you haven't even noticed." Kalia said. Just then, Kislin felt a searing pain and just now noticed that Kalia cut his arm off. Kislin screamed in pain and couldn't believe it. Kalia did it so fast that Kislin didn't even notice until she said something. As for Kalia, she was done playing around. He attempted to kill Kazui, and she was filled with this overwhelming urge to kill him. "Kazui, stay right here." She said as she put him down and was getting serious. "Just don't move. I'll end this quickly." Kazui did what she said and just watched. Kalia started walking towards him and then started running faster and faster until she was moving with incredible speed that Kislin couldn't keep up with her as she was running circles around him.

"Where is she?!" Kislin said.

"Here!" Kalia said as she appeared and tried to attack him. Kislin tried to block her, but Kalia had a lot of force behind her attack that it sent him flying right into a wall. It looked like Kalia took him down in one powerful attack. "Don't ever touch the kid." She said as she turned away and started walking back to Kazui with Kazui amazed on what Kalia just did. She really is amazing.

"Why you...!" Kisin wasn't giving up either as he made another attempt to attack and kill her. "I'm not going to lose to the likes of..." Kalia didn't even let him finish that as she thrusted her sword right into him without even looking.

"Not so funny now, is it?" Kalia said. She pulled her sword out and Kislin dropped to the ground as he was now dead. Kalia finally brought one of the Jigoku down. It was finally over and Kazui was astonished with what he saw. "Uh... Pretend you didn't see that."

"Kazui! Kalia!" Just then, Ichigo and Orihime showed up and ran straight to their son. "Kazui, are you okay?!" Orihime said in a panic.

"I am thanks to Kalia." Kazui said.

"Yeah. He might have seen things he shouldn't, but..." Kalia didn't finish explaining as Orihime just ran to her and put Kalia in her arms.

"Thank goodness you're both okay." Orihime said as Kalia felt like she was being held by her real mother.

"Thank you, Kalia. It looks like you were busy." Ichigo said as he saw what happened. "By the way, on our way running here, Kisuke gave us a call with great news for you." Hearing that is quite a surprise to Kalia, but she could use it.

...

Urahara Shop

Kalia and everyone regrouped down in the underground chamber that was kept under the shop. Kisuke did have great news. He might have found a way to actually get Kalia back to her own world.

"It wasn't easy, but I finally got enough of an analysis of the crystals to open up a way back to your world, Kalia." Kisuke said as this was good for Kalia indeed. All of them stood in front of Kisuke's own senkaimon and he had it opened up for Kalia to walk through.

"So... All I have to do is walk through here and I will be back in my own world?" Kalia questioned, but Kisuke confirmed that was the case. It was great for Kalia, but the timing could have been a little better. "But, what are all of you going to do if I leave?" She said as she turned to everyone. "None of you have your powers?"

"We'll figure something out." Chad said.

"We do thank you for your help, but you should return to your own world." Uryu said.

"The Orihime and myself in your world must be worried sick about you. I know we would be if you were our actual daughter." Ichigo said. All of them were being so supportive, but Kalia felt so bad about leaving.

"Kalia..." Kazui said with Kalia looking at him. "It was great having you hear." That was the final straw for Kalia.

"Is something wrong?" Kisuke asked.

"Turn it off." Kalia said as she moved away from the senkaimon. "I'm not going anywhere. At least not until the Jigoku are defeated." All of them were a little surprised that Kalia would do something like that, but now they're even more grateful for all her help.

"Yay! You're staying!" Kazui cheered as he hugged her.

"Well, I can't exactly leave...my new brother like this." Kalia said as she finally admitted to it. All of them loved seeing that. Now that Kalia is going to be sticking around, they can focus on defeating the Jigoku. They already have one down and there are still six to go. The real fight is only just beginning.
