"Ow!" Brittany screamed. What was that? Jeanette looks over at Brittany "Are you okay Britt?" I look at her "I don't know. I just felt this weird pain, it's probably nothing" I don't think it's nothing… Jeanette nods and looks back down at her book. I shuddered quietly, Why am I feeling pain? I didn't hurt myself? ...Weird, I hope I don't feel any more pain.
*Bell rings*
Alright, now I'm off to the office since my free time is over... "Britt!" I turn around to see Jeanette smiling at me. "Yeah?" "I'll see you later" Isn't she even curious about why I'm randomly feeling pain? "Yeah, see you!" I smiled while turning around straight to the office.
(Alvin's P.O.V)
Gets thrown to the wall. "Come on fellas let's calm down" Then gets hit in the arm "Can we solve this in a way of not fighting?" Gets hit again 'Guess not...'
(Timeskip)
Walks out of the nurses office *Sighs* Well that could've gone better... Well, at least I can go home early. I don't understand why they just picked a fight with me. I did nothing wrong! *Sighs* I hope Dave doesn't yell at me and then ground me... again...
(Normal P.O.V)
Right, when Alvin was going to reach for the door Brittany walks out of the office and sees him. "Alvin Seville got away from the door" He turns around freaked out but doesn't show it. "I can leave early Britt" 'Why am I feeling freaked out when I'm not feeling freaked out?'
"Says who!?" Brittany scoffed, Alvin glares "The nurse" he showed her the slip. Brittany looks at the slip, then before she looks at his eyes she caught something underneath his sleeve. She pulls up his sleeve and gasps from the bruises on his arm, Alvin pulls away scared, and then glares. "What Are You Doing!?"
Brittany sighs "Al, did you get into a fight again?" He stops glaring and frowns "No..." she gives him the look "...Yes... B-but I didn't start it! Believe me for my sake!" Brittany gives him a small amused smile. 'I somewhat feel like he's telling me the truth' "Okay, I believe you. Now leave the school and rest, I'll stop by later with the rest of your homework"
Alvin just pouts 'Why? Why can't I get a day off of homework!' "Why can't homework just leave me alone!" Brittany rolls her eyes '*Giggles* cute Al, cute' "Be glad I'm being a nice friend and bringing you your homework" Alvin just looks at her not sure what to say.
'Huh? Why am I feeling worried all of a sudden and what is that noise? (Those bruises look so painful! Who did this? *Sighs* I'm worried about him) whoa! W-wait... is that Brittany? ... Ehh I must be imagining things.'
She smirks "At least you're not going to be in trouble by Miss Smith tomorrow" Alvin just smiles at her amused. "Okay okay! you're right, thanks Britt I'll see you later" with that he opened the door and left the school property.
(Brittany's P.O.V)
Right when I was going to go and get all of Alvin's assignments from his teachers, I felt somewhat anxious and heard a noise from out of nowhere. (*Sighs* How am I going to explain this to Dave? I hope I don't get grounded again... this time it wasn't my fault...)
My eyes went wide and people looked at me weirdly as they were walking through the hallway. 'Alvin?' I thought while I started to walk to one of his classes. Okay, that was strange and kinda scary... did I just hear his mind?
Or did I imagine it? (B-brittany?) I gasped before entering the classroom. 'A-am I hearing things?' I thought again because I keep on hearing Alvin's voice in my head, it was like he heard me when I said his name but in my mind not out loud! I shook it off and went inside the classroom and asked for Alvin's missing work before going to the next class he isn't going to be in for. *Sighs* I hope I'm not going crazy.
(Alvin's P.O.V)
When I was walking down the sidewalk getting home I started to get a little nervous about how Dave is going to react when he sees me... He only knows that I got hurt and went to the nurse's office and is getting sent home. He would've picked me up but couldn't since he's really busy with this mandatory work for me and my brother's singing career along with the Chipettes.
Well at least I'm getting some fresh air and he knows I'm coming home early for a reason. *Sighs* (Alvin?) "Huh?" I said out loud unexpectedly. 'B-Brittany?' I thought shocked, raising an eyebrow while still walking. Okay, what just happened?
Why did I just randomly hear Brittany's voice? Am I imagining this or... (A-am I hearing things?) am... I hearing... things? I stopped and blinked for a second. "Okay this is just freaky," I said, freaking out before walking into my house. Whatever is happening I want to find out what the heck is going on. 'Brittany when you get here we need to talk' He thought hoping Brittany could hear him. But unfortunately for him, she did...
(Normal P.O.V)
School just ended and Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor are walking home together. Brittany was thinking about what she somehow heard from Alvin. It was replaying in her head over and over again *Brittany when you get here we need to talk* it was confusing her to bits... why and how is she hearing Alvin's voice?
"Brittany?" She snaps out of her thoughts and looks at them dumbfounded "Huh? Did you say something?" Simon looked at her confused, 'Is she okay?' "Yeah, we said, are you okay? You've been very quiet, is something on your mind?"
Brittany sighed 'No I'm not okay. I feel like I'm going insane!' "I'm fine... it's just that today has been very strange and I don't know why? But maybe it's because Alvin hasn't been annoying me today?" 'WHY DID I SAY THAT?
*Sighs* Now I feel bad even though he's not here. Ugh! He's been through so much today and I'm already saying mean things behind his back when he has done nothing to me. *Sighs* I'm sorry Al' Jeanette looks at Brittany and sees a hidden frown on her face.
'Does she feel bad about what she said about Alvin?' Eleanor laughs "Maybe... but didn't Alvin go home today from getting injured?" I look at her "Yeah I saw him leaving the school and thought he was ditching. But I was wrong"
"Did you see his injuries?" Theodore said curiously worried while Brittany gave him a sly smile "Yeah... it doesn't look good. He looked like he was in so much pain..." 'It's like... I felt his pain... it didn't feel good at all...' Theodore frowns "Oh no poor Alvin" Simon places a hand on his shoulder "Don't worry Theo, he will be fine" 'Hopefully it won't get worse'
"Also I'm coming over to give him his homework that he missed today" 'Also talk to him about what's going on...' Brittany said while Simon nodded. With that Eleanor and Jeanette walked to the Treehouse while Simon, Theodore, and Brittany walked into the Seville household.
(Brittany's P.O.V)
I walked into the house wondering where Alvin was. "Hmmm" 'Alvin where are you?' I thought to myself. Right, when I was about to ask Dave I heard something (I'm upstairs) okay this is strange but quite handy. "I'm going upstairs to give this to Alvin okay boys?"
Simon and Theodore look at her in surprise while Simon spoke "Uh okay? How do you know he's up there, we didn't even check the couch yet?" I grinned "Just a hunch" Haha! Their faces are priceless! Now to see Alvin and see how he's doing.
(Alvin's P.O.V)
You know I'm kinda surprised that I answered Brittany when I thought I was still imagining her voice in my head again... I mean for some reason I sense her coming up the stairs coming toward me for some reason. Weird right? When I looked at the door it opened with Brittany.
'See I was right when I sensed her' behind it with my ugh! Homework... She looks at me with a smile and walks over to me after she closes the door. "Hi Al, how are you feeling?" I shrugged and replied "Ehh the pain is now lessened but whenever I move to a different spot it kills like bloody murder"
I look at Brittany and she cringes "Damn that sucks! Well, I have your homework that you hate so much" I laughed at that "Thanks Britt" "You're welcome bruisey" she jokingly teased. "Ha ha Britt, very funny" she just rolled her eyes
"Anyway... I don't know if it's just me but... could you hear me in your..." My eyes widened, "Mind" I said for her. She freezes and blinks "Yeah! That!" 'Yeah I can... how are we doing this?' She stutters "I-i don't know..." Omg, this is crazy! I'm not going insane or imagining her voice! Huh? I look over at her and feel her starting to feel scared. Wait what? How am I feeling her emotions? "Brittany calm down, everything's going to be alright," I said calmly.
(Brittany's P.O.V)
What is going on! Why can I hear Alvin's thoughts and how can we speak to each other through our minds... this is too much! I sensed Alvin looking at me but I didn't look up fearing that he would see the tears threatening to come out of my eyes.
"Brittany calm down, everything's going to be alright," he said so calmly. To me it sounded so comforting making me just want to get closer to him and hug him, crying my eyes out while he is telling me everything is going to be okay. I brought my arms and legs close to me and started to squeeze but felt pain in the process
"Oww!" I screamed but I also heard Alvin at the exact same time. I looked at my arms and legs and rolled up my sleeves and saw black and blue bruises all over and gasps. When did they get here? I look at Alvin and he is looking at me with wide eyes "Omg! They look exactly like mine in the same spot..." I finally broke and started crying right in front of him.
(Normal P.O.V)
Alvin looks at Brittany and frowns feeling her sadness and gets closer to her and wraps his arms around her and hugs her gently since they both apparently have the same bruises on their body. She wraps her arms around Alvin and cries harder making Alvin sigh
'Britt everything's going to be okay. Please stop crying, I can feel your emotions and I don't want you to feel like that anymore. It's making me sad as well. Don't worry we will find out why we have this erm... Link?' Brittany stops crying and keeps her eyes closed and listens to his heartbeat.
'Listening to his heartbeat is music to my ears. It makes me feel calm.' Then she opens her eyes and looks at his charming Crystal Blue Eyes while still in his arms. "I'm sorry" Alvin looks at her and raises an eyebrow "What for? You did nothing wrong?" She looks down
"Brittany... it's alright, I don't mind" she looks back up at him "You don't mind that we have a link with each other?" "Nope! I think the link actually means something. I'm just not sure what though?" Brittany blinks 'O-oh then let's search it up then' Alvin smiles and nods and takes out his phone and searches it up.
(Brittany's P.O.V)
After Alvin searched it up. It showed two versions of what our symptoms could be. Option 1 said {When you first met each other when you were childhood friends, you fell in love with each other right when you saw one another.
When you guys grew up you guys always had constant fighting so you can keep your feelings to yourselves. This is technically your soulmate if you have this as your symptom. To find out if option 1 is your option kiss each other and see if you two feel love from each other since you can sense each other's emotions.
If not, go to option 2 and see if that's your option.} option 2 said {You were born with this and already we're soulmates. When you first met each other your link was really strong and you already knew how to use your link. But when you grow older you forget about your link since you were always around each other all the time, it wasn't as powerful as it is when you're a teenager.

"Yep," It's now or never. "Uh, Alvin?" He looks at me "Yeah?" "We have to... you know... kiss and sense each other's emotions if we feel ... love"
He looks away from me "I know..." then he looks back at me "You ready?" I nodded my head and teased "Yeah it's not like we haven't kissed before Alvin" he narrowed his eyes "Yeah well that was unexpected Britt. Sure we kissed but did you really count that? Our siblings were in the room with us, not to mention we were being totally stupid" You know he's got a point. But to me, it was still a kiss. It was my first kiss. "Alright fine Mr. Defensive!" He rolls his eyes "Are we going to do it or keep stalling?" I'm not the one who's stalling... "Yes" "Okay"
(Normal P.O.V)
Brittany gets closer to him and gently places her hands on his shoulders while Alvin gently wraps his arms around her waist since once again they have bruises all around their body. They look into each other's eyes for a moment before leaning forward.
Alvin and Brittany close their eyes at the same time and press their lips together for the second time in their lives and this time it wasn't by accident. Brittany sighs through the kiss and starts to feel love all through her body making her even happier while Alvin was feeling the same exact thing as she was.
By now they both knew that they were deeply in love with each other, and the link they both shared was getting stronger since they are feeling so much emotion from the kiss they are having. They broke the kiss and looked into each other's eyes and smiled happily.
Alvin blinked "Wow! I guess that means we both love each other ... a lot I may add" Brittany smiles bigger "Yeah it does... so does that mean we are dating now? I mean the link we shared just confirmed it?" Alvin laughs "Yeah... besides we can't deny it now right?" Brittany giggles "Nope!" Then the door opens fast making them both jump in surprise.
(Alvin's P.O.V)
'Whoa! I wasn't expecting that?' (Me neither Al... couldn't Dave open it a little bit slower?) Dave looked at Alvin and Brittany "Hey guys, just wanted to check on Alvin's bruises"
I look at Dave "Sure... I guess?" (Is he going to ask me to leave?) I look at Brittany while taking off my shirt. 'To be honest Britt I have no clue' Brittany looks at me and smiles (Well at least we know that our bruises are looking better. It's like we can heal each other!) 'Maybe we can...' "Really?!"
Brittany screamed out not realizing it. I blinked and replied "I don't know. We haven't tested it yet..." Dave looks at them weirdly "Uhhh what are you guys talking about? You didn't even say a word to each other?" I looked at Brittany while she looked at me.
(Oops I said it out loud by accident!") 'It's okay Britt, I did it too by answering you' Then I looked at Dave "Are you almost done checking my bruises?" Dave blinked then narrowed his eyes at the both of us. "You guys didn't answer my question..." (Be clueless) 'Gotcha!' Alvin blinks cluelessly "What question?" Dave sighs "Alvin please"
"No seriously, what question?" Dave starts to get aggravated "Alvin" *laughs* (Keep going, I'll help!) 'Okay' "Will you at least tell me what you said?" Please don't... I only said it just to stall. Dave gets confused now "What?" Then he turns to Brittany "Could you tell him what I said?"
I look at Brittany and see her give Dave an innocent smile. "Sorry, Dave I can't help you since I don't remember..." She lied. Dave sighed while I looked at Brittany 'Do you think it worked?' She looked back (I'm not sure...) "Alright... I'll let it go" *For now* ...Did I just hear his thoughts?
If I did, could Brittany hear him as well? I turned to Brittany who was staring into space with a surprised face. We both blinked while he walked out of the room. When he was for sure out of hearing sight, we both looked at each other in surprise."Did you hear his thoughts!?" Brittany said, surprised. I sighed "Yeah I did... our link is confusing" Brittany nodded her head in agreement.
2 hours later
(Brittany's P.O.V)
I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE! This link is driving me crazy! All I feel is pain everywhere, I don't blame Alvin at all for this. It's just I can't keep this to myself any longer, my sisters and Alvin's brothers are giving Me and Alvin weird stares for the past 2 hours... it's kinda creepy and I don't want to see it anymore.
Hopefully I can ask Alvin if it's okay to finally tell them so that we can go on with our lives normally... well not completely normal. I mean Alvin and I are well... dating now but also are sharing a link with each other, how is that not creepy?
I look up from my phone to see Alvin walking towards me smiling. Sighs hopefully this will work and he won't get mad at me... "Hey, Al? Can I ask you something?" He smiles "Sure Britt, What about?" I look away "It's about our... l-link" then I look back at him
"I think we should finally tell our family about it... I know it's only been 2 hours since we found out but... I-I can't take the looks our siblings are giving us, It's creepy!" Alvin kisses me on the lips making my worries go away. When he pulls away he smiles.
"Brittany, if this was bothering you, why didn't you tell me?" I look down "I didn't want you to get mad..." Alvin sighs "I'm not mad Britt, I think it's a good idea" I blinked "R-really?" He chuckles "Yeah besides I kinda don't like them staring at us either. It is creepy." I smile and hug him and kiss him. "I love you" He smiles "I love you too."
(No One's P.O.V.)
They go downstairs and tell them what's going on. Their siblings laugh and smile saying I told you so! And Omg that's so cool! And how is that possible? Which makes Alvin and Brittany shrug in response.
Dave only smacks his head in realization, since he finally knew why they both were acting so strange when he was checking on Alvin's bruises. He wonders as well why and how they got this link. And why it physically damages them if one of them hurts themselves or is feeling emotional pain.
It confuses him as well with Simon, Theodore, Jeanette, and Eleanor. Whatever it's nothing to be alert from which Dave is relieved too. Everything is now going to start back to normal... well not completely normal. "ALLLVINNNN!" Dave screams.
