The Father had taken his leave, intent upon caring for Daughter's injuries. His last words were to keep the dagger from him. Then he and his Son left.
The Jedi moved back to their rooms. Ahsoka was still cold and needed a change of clothes. When she came out, she reluctantly spoke of the terrifying experience.
"It was just so dark, she came out of nowhere. Poor Daughter..." Ahsoka shuddered. "I've never felt anything so evil. It's no wonder they're scared of Abeloth."
"It's okay now." Anakin assured, placing a hand over her shoulder.
"Is it?" Ahsoka asked. "Do you actually believe that? She's not Grievous or Ventress. She's not something you can just stab to death if you please."
"I know-" Anakin began.
"No you don't." Ahsoka snapped. She turned her attention to Obi-Wan. "Do you think there's a chance our ship is still out there?"
Obi-Wan thinned his lips, looking out the window. "I would not count on it." Obi-Wan admitted. "If it hasn't fallen off the cliff it's surely been destroyed by debris."
Ahsoka sighed in defeat. "At least that thing can't get off the planet." She muttered.
"But Abeloth could reach out to someone." Luke spoke up. His four companions turned to him. Luke pushed away from the doorframe and nodded towards the window. "Obi-Wan said you were brought here because of a distress signal. We can assume that was the Father's doing. Is it that far a reach to assume Abeloth can't do the same thing to other Jedi or anyone close enough for that matter?"
His words seemed to stir a renewed sense of fear towards the dark entity. Anakin stood up and glanced at Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. "That raises a question though..." he turned to Luke. "What brought you and Ben here?"
Luke frowned, shaking his head in confusion.
"The Father said you brought Abeloth here." Anakin pointed out. "Daughter said they suspected you were her ally."
"If you are implying that I am working with Abeloth," Luke grimaced, "You are sorely mistaken. Have you forgotten what she put me through?"
Anakin shrugged. "A distraction. You had plenty of time to talk to her before Daughter and I got you out."
Luke tried desperately to hang on to his patience. "You're looking for someone to blame." He observed. "Ahsoka was put in danger, almost killed and you want to justify lashing out."
"Anakin," Obi-Wan interjected. "Luke has done nothing to garner our suspicion."
Anakin glanced towards Obi-Wan but did not look convinced. "Maybe not yet. But don't you find it even a little suspicious they don't remember how they got here?"
Luke scoffed. "Now you're reaching." He turned to leave, not intent upon hearing Anakin's accusations.
But it seemed Anakin was not done with him. Anakin suddenly lunged his arm out to grab Luke. Luke has had enough aggressive handling done to him for one trip, so whether Anakin was only trying to stop him or not, Luke responded in the one way his instincts would let him. Raising one arm he swung it against Anakin's wrist, affectively swatting it away. Luke abruptly followed with a swift punch between Anakin's eyes. Anakin stumbled back, face twisted up furiously. But before he could retaliate Obi-Wan grabbed Anakin. Ben had jumped up and put himself between his father and grandfather.
"Anakin! Stop it!" Obi-Wan snapped, pushing Anakin towards the window. He then gave Luke a glare. "Luke, calm yourself!"
Anakin turned away angrily.
Luke sighed and gently pulled Ben to his side. "I'm sorry. We're going to sleep." He said, and left without another word.
Once Luke and Ben were shut up in their room Ben could not stay quiet. "Okay! What the hell was that?"
"An outburst, nothing more." Luke said.
Ben scoffed. "The guy literally accused you of being in cahoots with Abeloth and then you punched him!"
"Really? I didn't notice." Luke said sarcastically.
"Dad!" Ben exclaimed. "We can't take on Abeloth if we don't trust eachother."
"I know, Ben." Luke said. "A good night's rest would help."
"A good night's rest?" Ben rolled his eyes and flopped onto his mat. "Sleep, the key to everything it is!" He said mockingly.
Luke shook his head and laid down. "Goodnight, Ben." He said with finality.
"Night." Ben muttered back.

Luke felt as though he had just closed his eyes when a palm slapped over his mouth. Luke startled and raised his hands to ward off his attacker. But the soft shushing sound and silhouette allowed Luke to recognize Ahsoka kneeling over him. Slowly she pulled her hand away and tilted her head to the door.
Luke looked to Ben, the boy was fast asleep. With a tired nod Luke stood and followed Ahsoka out into the corridor.
"What's the matter?" Luke whispered.
Ahsoka put a finger to her lips and gestured for him to follow. So he did. For a while. Ahsoka led him down corridors and stairways, through big halls and down more stairs. Every time he tried to speak she would shush him. There was a prickling on Luke's neck. He did not like this.
But finally Ahsoka stopped in a wide corridor with a wall of windows and turned to Luke. "I think you should have this." She produced the dagger hilt.
Luke frowned. "Why do you think that?"
Ahsoka shrugged. "Anakin can take care of himself. But you have to Ben to protect and get him home. If you go now you will be able to find Abeloth in the mountains to the west. She sleeps, I can feel it."
"How do you know that, Ahsoka?" Luke asked slowly, one hand falling over his lightsaber.
Ahsoka just shrugged and pressed the hilt flat against Luke's chest until he took it. "You should hurry." She pointed down the hall to a door.
"Ahsoka-" Luke began, but suddenly it was not Ahsoka standing before him. She morphed and grew into the Son, his piercing red eyes glaring down at him.
"My father has plans for Anakin Skywalker. You and Abeloth ruined those plans and my sister lays ill. You must rectify what you have brought upon us."
Luke shook his head. "I have no chance against her alone."
The Son scoffed. "Jedi have always been tenacious. You will find a way. Now go, or I will lead your precious son astray next."
"You leave Ben alone." Luke gripped the dagger tight in his fist.
"Go then, and he will be left to the Jedi." Son countered.
Luke inhaled and looked to the door. The Son was not giving him much choice, and he was loath to try and brashly kill the god in retaliation. So Luke straightened his stance and gave the Son a empathizing gaze. "I'd risk a lot too if my sister were in the same position as yours is now. But what if Abeloth takes the dagger from me? She'll kill your family."
The Son nodded. "Do you think I will not have my eye on you? When the time is right I will be there to avenge my sister. You have only to distract and draw her out."
Luke sighed. "You're really twisting my arm here."
The Son chuckled. "I can do a lot more to you, little Jedi."
"Really?" Luke took a step towards the entity. "This is a stupid plan and you know it. I'm not going to help you carry out a this suicide mission of yours."
"Cooperate, Jedi." The Son hissed. "Final warning."
Luke thinned his lip. "There has to be another way. You're going to get everyone killed." He stressed.
But the Son did not listen. "Wrong answer."

Anakin was abruptly pulled out of his sleep by none other than Ben. After last night's conflict Anakin had doubted his future grandson would ever speak to him again, much less want to be in the same room as him.
"Wake up damn you!" The young Jedi was saying.
"I'm awake, Ben, I'm awake." Anakin said, rubbing sleep from his eyes. Dull morning light was filtering through the window. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan were stirring from Ben's commotion. "What's wrong?"
Ben huffed and shook his head. "I can't find Dad anywhere."
Anakin frowned. "Are you sure?"
Ben nodded, chewing on his lip. "I can barely get a sense of him. He's not here."
The other three Jedi got to their feet at this news. And Ben was right. The luminous presence that was Luke Skywalker was nowhere near enough for Anakin to find. "Obi-Wan?"
Obi-Wan shook his head. "Ben's right. I cannot sense Luke."
Ahsoka came to Ben's side, taking hold of his hand in a comforting gesture.
Anakin groaned. "Where would he have gone?"
Obi-Wan stroked his beard. "The disappearance seems much like when Luke vanished from the cave. Perhaps the Father will have insight into this."
