A new girl has joined Hannah’s school. She’s immediately outcasted for being in a wheelchair and slightly overweight. She’s constantly teased and no one will talk to her. Hannah and her friends plan a really mean prank to play on her but first they pretend to be nice to her to gain her trust. Hannah races against time after realizing the prank could severely harm the new girl

2. Chapter 2

Class resumes*

Throughout the day no one talks to Darcy. Even during free period. At lunch she sits by herself. Finally at carpool she's really happy to go home*

Tuesday she comes in and goes to her locker*

Ow! You rolled ever my foot! "Hannah says"

I didn't touch your foot "Darcy says"

You calling me a liar?! "Hannah says"

Yeah cuz I didn't do anything wrong. You overreacted. I'm not here to start trouble "Darcy says and rolls herself away to avoid any more tension"

During free period in the library Hannah walks over to where Darcy is and knocks down the books on the table* Oops how clumsy of me

Pick them up then "Darcy says" You knocked them down on purpose

Did not "Hannah says"

I'm not blind. I saw you do it "Darcy says"

Shut up! "Hannah says loudly"

Is there a problem over here? "The librarian says walking over to them"

Yes ma'am I'm trying to study and she knocked my books off the table on purpose "Darcy says"

Tattletale! "Hannah says"

You're disturbing everyone in here Hannah! "The librarian says" Leave her alone right now! Why are you even in here?! Is it to study?!

No not really. I followed her in here "Hannah says"

Later that afternoon at the carpool lane Darcy is being loaded up in a van that is accessible to wheelchairs*

Hannah is impatient cuz she's next in line and gets her dad's car* Just drive around that van. It's for the new crippled girl

Her dad immediately scolds her* I got an email from your school librarian that you got detention for being mean to that new girl. You should be ashamed of yourself Hannah! Don't be a bully! You get detention again you'll be grounded for the rest of the month. Understood?

Yes sir "Hannah says signing and putting on her seatbelt"

Good "He says and leaves out of the parking lot"

When they get home he tells his wife what Hannah did at school*

You shouldn't be mean to someone cuz they're different "She says"

It's not my fault she's stuck in a wheelchair "Hannah says going upstairs"

Two days into the week and she's already gotten detention. Not surprised at all "Andy says as he watches SpongeBob with Steven"

She not very good student Andy "Steven says"

Got that right buddy "Andy says"

Hannah comes back downstairs after finishing her homework to eat dinner. Then they all go to bed*
