Chapter 25: Enough is enough

A/N: hey guys just wanted to inform you that Victor is dead! His name is a typo in the last paragraph. It should be Vladimir speaking NOT Victor. Bella took care of him. On with the story!

Stephanie was quick to push Bella back down as she spoke calmly to her.

"it's alright Isabella. It's just me, Stephanie. Im here to help."

"my baby?" was the first thing Bella questioned.

Stephanie's eyebrows furrowed.

"baby? what-"

Stephanie froze.

Now everything began to click into place. Her stepdaughter in laws scent had changed. She smelt sweeter, and her skin seemed softer. The skin around her stomach had been taunt but Stephanie hadn't thought anything of it.

Now knowing that there was a child involved, she had Bella lay back and Stephanie lifted the already torn shirt.

They would have to get her into some fresh clothes and a bath but for now, she needed to check on her.

She was quick and gentle as pressed on her stomach looking for that sign of pregnancy. When she found what she was looking for, she made sure to take a deep breath and focus on her hearing.

There was no heartbeat just yet but the signs confirmed it. Bella was one month pregnant.

"All alright Bella. You are pregnant. I say about one month but you should see an obstetrician when you get home. We can probably have Doctor Cullen look-"

"no! no! no! no vampires!" Bella suddenly screamed. "no more vampires!"

Tears began to fill her eyes and Bella began shaking.

Stephanie put a calming hand on her shoulder.

"Bella honey, no one will hurt you here. If you don't want to be around vampires, you don't have to. I know you have been through a lot. Do you think you could calm yourself enough to transform back? You are still in your tiger form."

It was then Bella looked down at her arms. She was still covered in fur and bruises.

"Can you stay calm for your miracle baby?"

At that, she nodded. She was closing her eyes, trying to calm down.

Once she was calm, her fur, ears, and tail went away. Instead of stripes was now bruised skin.

"would you like to take a bath?" Stephanie asked

Bella sighed, exhaustion marring her features.

"yes. where's paul? My dad?"

Stepahnie's eyes flashed violet.

"they are taking care of the enemy. We will be home soon."

Vladimir hissed and jumped into the nearest tree but something caught his ankle.

"no, you don't. you won't get away that easy." Marcus hissed. He had Vladimir's ankle squeezing it so hard, it snapped.

Vladimir screamed.

"Brother! Fix him we're going to need his limbs!" Aro called, as he reluctantly touched Stephan. Aro roared in anger as he saw the man's thoughts.

"Quick! Get the flame throwers! They have nomads underground! They are going to ambush us!"

As soon as Aro said it, hands emerged from the ground. Like something out of a zombie movie.

The Volturi guard was ambushed by hands grabbing their ankles, but this was short-lived because the pack, led by Paul was ripping the hands from the ground.

"Julian! Get inside the castle! That's where they are coming from! Burn it to the ground!" he ordered.

Paul's brother didn't hesitate as threw two grenades with explosives attached to them. The Romanian's castle went up in flames.

Charlie sat in a tree alongside Paul's father. in another tree was some of the Volturi guard.

It was their job to take care of any escaping nomads.

"Alright, Charlie. here they come. Everyone get ready." Julian Senior ordered.

The sound of screams was heard before a group of about twenty nomads came running under them. Not realizing their energy was in the trees.

"now!" Julian screamed.

He and a few tiger shifters jumped into the stampede. A few Volturi guards did as well. They cornered a few nomads right where they wanted them.

It was then Charlie and a couple of tiger shifters let out a full assault of explosive bullets. As soon as the bullets hit the vampire skin they would burst into flame.

Charlie couldn't help but chuckle a little.

Jane stood over the now limb couple. She had given them a dose of pain while her brother stunned them.

They were supposed to be the Romanians' secret weapon but the Volturi had them now.

"what shall we do with them, sister? Destroy them?" her brother suggested.

Jane shook her head.

"not at all. A vampire who can control the elements is worth a lot in the master's eyes. he shall become one of us yet."

"We need to end this!" Paul commanded as he looked at Aro. They were standing back to back, ripping heads off of the incoming nomads.

"alright. alright. ill stop stalling." Aro pouted.

Paul rolled his eyes and prowled toward Stephan and Vladimir. They had been chained to a tree, with their arms broken off.

"Which one of them touched my wife?" he asked Aro.

"both of them."

Paul smiled sadistically. He was going to enjoy this.

Bella groaned in pain, as Stephanie and Rachel helped lower her into the warm water.

Her back was raw and bloody. Her lower body was sore and everything hurt.

"take it slow, bells," Rachel said gently.

Bella did so and groaned as she was finally submerged in the water. She could only imagine how bad she smelled and how dirty she was.

"would you like a moment alone?" Rachel asked. She wanted Bella to have some form of dignity.

To her surprise, Bella shook her head. A deep-rooted fear in her eyes.

Rachel nodded, as tears began to form.

"oh, Bella…" she began.

Bella shook her head.

"don't pity me. Rachel. I am a survivor. I know logically everything will be okay but emotionally im all over the place. I don't want to talk about anything but I don't want to be alone. I want to thank the lord for my miracle baby and ignore everything else."

"the battle is almost over. The guards are packing everything up. we'll be able to go home soon." Rachel explained. "what did you mean by miracle baby?"

Bella caressed her stomach, and Stephanie poured in more bubbles.

" because of my injuries and the venom I received from the Cullens, my body couldn't handle carrying a baby. I had one miscarriage in the first year of our marriage and from there, the doctors said not to bother. And here I am pregnant. I'm trying to see the light in the darkness…"

"And it is also okay to admit that you need help, Bella. You can't ignore what happened to you." Rachel gently corrected.

Bella sighed. Dark circles under her eyes.

"I don't want to be weak Rachel."

Rachel crouched down next to the tub.

" you will never be weak Bella. You're the strongest woman I know. But even the strongest people need help."

Bella sobbed and while she did Rachel held her hand.

Paul took pleasure in the screams and pleas of the two vampires before him but he wasn't letting up. he had torn their dicks from their bodies and shoved them down their throats. He then threw their balls into the fire. All while they watched.

He was about ready to break their fingers one by one when he felt two heavy hands on his shoulder.

He looked up to see his father and father-in-law.

"It's over son." His father began.

"and Bella needs you. out of everyone right now, she needs to see you." Charlie reminded him.

Paul closed his eyes.

He needed her too.

With swiftness, he ripped Vladimir and Stephan's heads off and threw them into the fire.

No one would mess with his family ever again. He then stood and turned to face his family.

"let's go home."

They gathered together as one unit and raced back to camp.

The Volturi could handle the rest.
