Tegan looks up from her laptop to see Graham putting his phone down and recalls his side of the conversation. "Is Ace ok?"

"As she was driving back she ran off the road." Tegan looks at Graham with a curious look. "Back from getting Adric."

"As in my son."

"Nyssa told her that you guys hadn't heard from him for months and just went to see what was going on. He decided to come back with her."

"We are going to Nyssa."

"Ace said they are ok, and asked me to stay here."

"No way we are doing that. Kate would want you to focus and with how you feel for Ace; you wouldn't be able to focus."

Kate walks up to them, "what is going on?"

"To avoid a driver Ace had to drive into a ditch, we were talking at that moment through the bluetooth."

"Is she ok?"

"She says they are."

"They?"

"She had Adric in the car."

"Adric?"

"My son," Tegan interjects, "and we are going to go be Nyssa and Neeka until we hear from them?"

"Go." Tegan and Graham rush out of UNIT and into A Charitable Earth.

"Mum, Graham," Neeka who is coming out of her office sees the two looking worried.

"I was on the phone with Ace."

"Ok, go to her office and wait, since you are here, I will go get Mum." Neeka heads to get Nyssa as Graham and Tegan head to Ace's office.

"Graham?"

"Yes Tegan."

"You love her don't you?" Tegan asks knowing she is barely keeping calm knowing her son was in the car.

"I know she is getting to be a part of my heart."

"The way you are acting." Graham sits down in the visitors chair.

"I am lucky to find someone again, after losing my Grace, I didn't think there was someone for me. It took over 50 years to find Grace, but coming back to earth in my time it took only a few years to find someone as amazing as Ace."

"You still miss her?"

"I do, and when I heard the car go into the ditch and hear Ace ask Adric if he was ok and vise versa, I started having flashbacks to Grace falling from that electrical pole trying to save the Doc."

"Let me guess Ace was more concerned about reassuring you then she was about anything else?"

"After I screamed Ace twice and Dorothy once." Neeka and Nyssa enter the room.

"Can someone please tell me why my wife and best friend's boyfriend is here in her office looking like something happened."

"Mum, sit next to mum."

"Neeka?"

"Nyssa do what she says," Graham says.

Nyssa sits, "so Graham was obviously on the phone with Aunt A, and he told Mum," she looks to Tegan, "Aunt A was going to surprise you two with Adric, but on her way back; in order to avoid someone driving the wrong way she had to serve and ended up in a small ditch. According to Adric both are ok."

"Ace," Graham wants to add, "is calling roadside assistance and I told her to get checked out by a medical professional before she comes here."

"Knowing her, she will make sure Adric gets checked out, but not her."

"If I find out that happened, I will take her to get checked out."

"Good, she cares about others, but a lot of the time she is at the bottom of her own list."

"It's good that she is up on mine with Ryan and Yaz."

"You do love her if she is up there with your grandson and surrogate granddaughter." Tegan says. Graham shrugs.

"You three stay here, I will hold down the fort here. Mum, Graham, you know where she keeps the tea." Neeka walks out as the three older adults sit in the office. Graham being Graham gets up to make the tea. Ace once told him how they take it. He comes back with three steaming mugs.

"I don't know how long this wait will be, but Neeka was right, we should drink some tea."

"How do you know how we like it?"

"Ace, your family means so much to her."

"She means a lot to us too." The three of them sit silently thinking about the two who are out. A few hours later Graham's phone rings.

"We are on the way, I made sure we both got checked out. Nothing is broken, each of us just need to take it easy for a few days."

"Glad that you both are ok, Tegan and Nyssa are sitting on the couch in your office here and I am in the visitor chair."

"I had a feeling you would tell Tegan."

"She heard some of the conversation."

"I guessed, we are on the way to A Charitable Earth so stay put."

"I was planning on staying here, until I could take you home and help you relax."

"I am looking forward to it. Can you hand the phone to the worried parents, and I will hand mine to Adric."

"Ok. I will see you when you get here with arms open for a hug."

"Good," on the other side of the phone Ace is smiling as she hands the phone to Adric, "Graham is handing the phone to your mums, talk to them and tell them what the doctor told you." Ace turns to look out the window of the Über.

After he is done he hands the phone back to Ace, "they want me to remain at the house until I am ok."

"Not surprising."

"When are you expecting a call from the insurance company?"

"Within the next few days. I have a feeling your mums and my Graham will not want me to do even light duty at A Charitable Earth for those few days."

"I know one of my mum will tease you to no end if" he raises his left eyebrow, "your Graham takes care of you during those days."

"I said my Graham?"

"You did."

"Do not tell your family. There have been times I have been getting it from all three of them."

"Not surprising." The car pulls up to the large building. Ace makes sure she goes on her phone and leaves a good review and a large tip for the driver.

"Come on time to face our families. Well your family and Graham."

"Not yours huh."

"Shush you." They go to Ace's office to see the four people as Neeka has joined them. Graham goes straight to Ace and wraps her in his arms. "See I'm ok."

"I know, but I was still worried, you mean so much to me Ace."

"You mean a lot to me too Graham." Ace rests her head on his shoulder. As the family to the side of them reunites.

"You two," Ace and Graham stop hugging and turn to face the voice of Tegan, "before you shut off the world completely are coming over for dinner."

"I kind of want to get home and relax."

"You can lay in Graham's arms later, first the two of you are going to join us for a family meal. Ace you are an aunt to these two, and Graham you are Ace's boyfriend."

"Te," Ace starts to say, but Nyssa speaks up.

"I am agreeing with Neeka, you two are coming for dinner, you got my son back to talk to us."

"I didn't get him here safely though."

"You did though, you avoided the car and he doesn't have any broken bones. Now Ace," Nyssa steps closer to her friend and gives her a quick hug. "You also made sure he got checked up."

"Ace put up a fight."

"That is not surprising, can we go now, I am hungry," everyone laughs as Graham says this.

Ace grabs his hand, "we definitely need to eat soon."

"I will take Ace in my car."

Tegan stares him down, "can you make sure she doesn't convince you to take her home!"

"Yes, I think after today all of us need to be together for a while longer."

"But Graham, I want to lay down." Graham's eyes go wide at Ace's admission as Tegan and Nyssa snicker. "Not like that you two, get your mind out of the gutter. We haven't had a chance to even have our first kiss yet."

"You can cuddle with your boyfriend later Ace, first you need to eat," Tegan tells her friend, "everyone lets head to the Traken- Jovanka household."
