McCoy doesn't want another harebrained mission so soon, definitely doesn't want a second roundtrip ticket back to Altamid, and especially doesn't want to share a room with Spock of all people. When he signed up for Starfleet, he didn't sign up for this type of mess, and after so many years he's none too pleased about how everything's turned out.
