Khan and his people, working to build a new life for themselves on a planet they're secretly colonizing, are interrupted when the crew of the USS Enterprise discover them. Tensions between Khan and Kirk are renewed, fueled by the connection both men have to Khan's wife. But there is a greater threat than jealousy lurking in the dark . . .

When Chekov is kidnapped from onboard the Enterprise, the rest of the crew must pull together to find out why, and get their youngest member back. When the situation becomes deadlier than expected, Kirk makes a sacrifice for the ship's ensign. Whole crew fic. K for violence.
