The first year after Harry had told his dads about DEATH being his Father, had been hard but they got through it. Harry would not talk about his childhood again, but the Doctor and the Master had done as the Master had suggested and just spent the time with him going through Time and space. Harry hadn't used his powers since, but they had told him to if he needed them to use them. Harry had told them he would, but that he would never uses his powers to kill down the timeline or just kill with either type of Magic! Unless the universe was in imminent danger or immediate family needed him to. Otherwise, if he had to use his powers off DEATH or his own powers really, he would use them at the time he was there in person. He still used all his different Magics down the timeline occasionally but not to kill.
Life had got a lot better for all three of them over the years as they carried on, neither older Time Lords had met his Father and didn't particularly want to. But Harry was fine with that, he did now go and see his Father more often and for a lot longer than anyone realised his dads knew he visited him but as he only went for microseconds within the universe his dad and Pere said it was him blipping knowing he was spending time with his Father, but he did try to live within a universe and enjoy himself as all his parents wanted well maybe except one and that was what was currently on his mind.
Harry had been feeling down over the last month even traveling and learning both in a room and in the universe because of not being able to save the rest of the Real Unspeakables. Harry had now spent around one hundred and twenty years in physical time not counting the time in the Time Vortex living with his dad a Pere and he was now fifteen. He visited Sirius once a month and Luke Smith came to spend a different weekend every two months in the earth calendar, they would collect Luke for just the weekend so Harry had someone for company over the years as Harry physically aged they were both now fifteen even though he had met Luke looking around an eight and a quarter years old.
Something still niggled at Harry though and had done since coming to this universe it was why he had been feeling down this last month. Although he now knew how to patch a crack to cross to another universe he still didn't understand why his own universe had to be lost, his dads had lost their home but he had lost his universe, even he couldn't get back into it the way it was closed it was that fact that had caused him problems if they wanted to visit different universes they needed to be able to close the crack behind them and then be able to make a new one he could do both easily now the problem was it sealed it shut completely from them which meant they could never get back into it again, his research had led to patches that were strong enough to patch the crack but could be pulled down and replaced once they crossed over back and forth, but as his Father had said to him there was no rush he still had plenty of time in that universe to live, as he needed to be able to make the TARDIS work in other universes. Both his dad and Pere had said that the TARDIS didn't like different universes so it wasn't possible for them to really visit other universes at the moment, but he would eventually get there.
He decided he was going to speak to his dads he wanted answers about the other universe and for some reason all his Father would ever say on the matter was that unfortunately that universe was now closed to Null and that was all DEATH would say about it no matter how he asked his Father.
"Dad, Pere, can we talk please?" Harry asked them, coming into the living room from his bedroom.
"Sure, Muklo sit down in the lounge with us." Answered the Doctor for them both. So Harry took his usual chair.
"What's up Muklo? Your bond is jumping around with different emotions and thoughts." Asked the Master before explaining the reason for asking.
"You know I can call shades of the dead to me and speak to them if I want even though I will never pass to the afterlife I can still summon a shade even through universes… I want to summon mum and see if she knows what really went on in my old universe. All Father will say is that it is unfortunately totally blocked off from me although not HIM but that is because HE stays in the inbetween. That is something we are really going to have to work on taking the TARDIS to another universe… Anyway… I want to know if you two would be willing to be with me when I do it? I just feel the time is right now to find out for good." Harry explained to them.
"You're still upset over not being able to save the others, aren't you?" Asked the Doctor gently.
"Yes, and I want to know why I just feel the time is right!" Explained Harry
"How do we do it?" Asked the Master gently as well. they had promised Harry, they would support him in everything to do with his powers off DEATH a long time ago. This was actually the first time since he had brought them up.
"I just pull on the soul I want to bring to me in this case it will be mum." Harry answered his dad.
"Okay son we said we will support you using your powers off your Father so call your mum and we will be here with you and for you!" The Master told Harry.
Harry shut his eyes and pulled on the power to bring a shade into the real world concentrating on the pull of his mum, then slowly opened his eyes and standing opposite the other three of them was his mum looking young and beautiful even as only a shade of herself.
"Hello sweetheart, I thought you might call me again when your Father told you the truth then wouldn't answer your questions, HE wanted you to build up the courage to use your powers as you are meant to. Oh, my beautiful boy, I have been watching you so much sweetheart you don't know how proud I am of you." Spoke his mother to him.
"Thank you to both of you too, Muklo has a long road ahead of him at times it will not be easy for him, knowing you are there with him is a comfort. I'm sorry Koschei I didn't know. He was never told he was anything other than James's son until he was approached by the others. They explained it to him gently but I'm glad to see him reunited with you both." She carried on looking over at the two older Time lords.
"Thank you, Lilly for your blessings that means a lot to the both of us it truly does and Muklo is the best thing to happen to me since I was born. Can I ask you though what you called our son at birth please?" Asked the Master to Lilly.
"Hadrian James potter, I chose the first name as to sounded like yours but didn't want to use Harold and as James Potter blood adopted Hadrian, he asked to choose his middle name I know why you asked I was going to tell you actually." She replied to the Master making Harrys head shoot up.
"Okay I didn't know that! It's lovely to see you mum, however I know it will start to strain you and hurt the longer you stay here so I need to ask you honestly. Do you know what happened with the universe I grew up in the one you passed on in?" Asked Harry to her.
"Yes…. I did research into the gate back when I was just out of Hogwarts, we went through and stayed for two weeks only to the exact second, when we came back through two weeks had passed to the same second…. You were the purest Real Unspeakable they had seen in a very, very, long time they knew from their history what had gone on, they also knew that even if you could complete your mission the 'management group' gave you within the week they would have to hold out and monitor the cracks for that time before you would return through the vail…. The first nuclear weapon was launched an hour after you left, within the next twenty-three hours, most countries who had them legally or not showed they had power if they were come after, by the other countries. They waited the full twenty-four hours you were gone safe on their floors hoping SATURN would return you and that you would not come back through the vail. It was two day eleven hours and fifty-nine minutes after you had left when they had to seal the cracks and the gate as the whole of the world launched everything at each other, they annihilated the Earth. It blew apart it was that destructive. Once they closed everything off to you within minutes, they were all dead. The whole planet is gone son and so will the solar system. The pieces of the earth are still heading through space with the pressure to blow the rest of the planets and moons in the solar system up. There was nothing they could do other than save you and all the other universes in that cluster. They worked out how to shut the gate down before you were gone, they just didn't tell you, they closed that last. The 'management group' actually took a vote between themselves an hour after you left when the first nuclear bomb was set off. There was a decision to be made, did they all follow you through immediately in the hope of salvation and not slavery or did they work to close off all the rifts created by you and the gate. They could have sealed the cracks and all gone through after that first nuclear bomb was set off, and sealed the gate from this side, they should have told you the truth. They decided to see what would happen to you a child… My child... If you got slavery, so be it, you had SATURN only you could take her off, you would just have to find another planet to live on or another universe to live in, one crack wouldn't cause damage it would heal over time they realised. They were going to leave the gate open deep in their own department thinking it safe as a nuclear bunker, only with more protections than even the mundanes had in theirs…. It was only after you left, they found out just how much nuclear destruction the countries of the world could really do. They panicked and as soon as the full arsenal was released, they closed the gate and cracks blocking the universe from entry and as I said the gate was last and a few minutes later and they were instantly dead, everyone was…. I am so sorry son this is why your Father refused to answer. HE didn't know how you would cope…. But you are not only HIS son you are also mine and theirs." At this she pointed to the two adult Time Lords who up until now had been a bit tense this was unbelievable and what was more shocking was they couldn't see this in the timeline at all.
"They in the end did what they should, they sent you to safety the only one would be welcome among the other ordinary Time lords, it was only after I had returned home and married James did I realises I was pregnant and by then I wasn't risking you over something that might have happened in another universe, when you were born we knew, and James immediately adopted you as his own true heir, we intended to have more children, one to carry on the Potter legacy as we knew you wouldn't once we saw and touched you, but we also felt your future would lay more with the others than with the Potter family as we would both outlive James and any other children we had together…. That's it. There is still life in that universe, but it is the way it should be. I still watch over you, but I am now gone, you have your two dads and your Father with you permanently, I couldn't be happier for that… Now you know and you have your dads and Father to help you through this okay, start to use your powers that you were taught by your Father will you son please, but know I will always love you my sweet boy. It's time I go son I don't belong here any longer but if you want to talk to me again call me, I love watching over you…. Goodbye for now." And with those last words off his mum Harry let her go he would not hurt his mother. He had tears traveling down his cheeks he finally knew the truth. He felt himself picked up and carried over to the sofa and placed between his two dads who had both carried him they were on either side of him with his dad on the right his Pere on the left.
"Shh. Son, you know now your birth name, but as promised we will still call you Muklo in private that is your private Magical Time Lord name now and has been for a very long time your last universe caused you so much pain no matter what you were called and we cannot know your True Name given to you by DEATH. But no matter what you share a bond with both me and your Pere. As for your own universe there is nothing they could do, they sent you to safety, maybe they thought they could hold out but not with the destruction of the planet it would have taken this universe with it through the gateway if it wasn't closed off. You are who you are through your experiences. You went to the Real Unspeakables full time when you won the war and got SATURN who gave you enjoyment and when we initiated the psychic link and it turned into a parental bond I could feel the emotions of how much you enjoyed traveling and seeing the different things you saw but that with the gate caused massive cracks in your old universe so they sent you here and you walked out of the vail and immediately met Sirius then you moved in with him, you met Theta only four years later and then me and I fell in love immediately with you even Theta was overjoyed at the thought of a tot that he could help bring up, you started to call us dad and Pere after only being with us for a few years, I got called dad when we visited Floxum that first time and then with your cover story you started to call Theta Pere and have carried on then all the excitement and fun you have had with us. DEATH has done the right thing by you. You've said he has admitted to loving you HE just doesn't want to see you in pain over losing your home universe. It's also made you use another of your powers off DEATH to move you forward a bit." Spoke the Master gently to him as he was held by both his parents as he thought of them.
"Why didn't they tell me I could have just asked Sirius if it would be safe and gone straight back for them while he and Jack sorted out all the paperwork?" Asked Harry to them.
"As you have said before there was talk of the nuclear arsenal, now from what Lilly said they had far too many and like we originally thought they went off to soon, if they could have seen Time they would have been able to see and inform you of exactly what needed to be done, it was also their theory as your mum said and your Pere pointed out when you found out I was your dad that as you had travelled throughout Time and universes and SATURN always returned you at the latest a day later that they expected you to use her to get home not the vail, so maybe they thought there wouldn't be a problem and when you didn't come back after the announcement of how many countries had nuclear bombs, they thought there was no longer time for you to do everything they needed. From everything you have said the Unspeakables just the ordinary ones were researching things for you, their whole department could have been safe for them as a shelter, even if they didn't know of the levels you were all on so closed it all off hoping to weather the storm not knowing they would actually release them." Spoke the Master again gently to him thinking it through in his own mind.
"At least I now know why Father has barred that universe there is nothing left of the Earth, humanity is the majority species in the universes over the ages, if they are all gone then that won't happen there…... I can't believe they actually destroyed the planet though, I know how much power it takes to do that and its staggering just to kill the planet like that never mind exterminate all life, which I suppose would actually be a very sad side effect.…They must have been mad the leaders at the end, we knew of a few countries who really, really shouldn't have had nuclear missiles that they in fact did. But for the Earth to release them all? NATO must have lost control of the countries that they knew about, causing all the countries fired on each other." Harry spoke his own thoughts out loud.
"You know Muklo, the first time I took Rose in the TARDIS was to the end of this earth that was natural, caused by the sun, it was glowing red with lava but to do it by nuclear weapons…. I'm actually glad we have UNIT and others to protect Earth along with us." Spoke the Doctor gently to him.
"Would my Earth have look like that at the end Pere, when they released the nukes before the Earth blew apart?" Harry asked the Doctor.
"No Muklo. Unfortunately, as you know when you last really used your powers they went peacefully, the people of your Earth would have died instantly but they would have felt the horror before the nukes hit. As you've said before, justice and mercy, compassion and understanding. We all have those within us each one more that the other person, we all have different mentalities, you can cause death to be peaceful when you use your DEATH powers if you want, you can do it justly or with mercy, it felt very peaceful when you killed the Daleks. The nuclear bombs going off though, unfortunately for about a minute would not, the people of your Earth would feel that wrenching terror hearing the missile sirens and the broadcasts. The only people who might not were the ordinary Magicals as they were stuck in the eighteenth century they probably didn't know." Replied the Doctor.
"So that is why Father told me I would be moving to and living in another universe HE knew what would happen and wanted me away from there and blocked me from it himself thinking I might be impulsive and try to do something, which after all this time even though I'm sad I couldn't anyway now, but I wouldn't actually like to see that universe again if I'm honest, the human race just gone, no longer able to spread out to other worlds and even other galaxies. I would imagine that is a sad universe to live in." Explained Harry to them.
"You're taking this better than I thought you would Muklo?" spoke the Master.
"Now I know, at least their deaths would have been fast and not constricted to just the layers, but it's still upsetting to know the planet I was brought up on from birth is completely gone. I wonder if they actually knew just which countries had nukes, there were rumours of the department having a true seer but even I with my clearance could never find out more than speculation. Only the 'management group' had that level of clearance. I think that was more to do with the fact that the ordinary Unspeakables could do things and know they would or wouldn't work before they did them, but I can't see us allowing that, the secret could get out. Unless they got a Magic and life vow out of them before they allowed them anywhere near the department to work only for us and paid them handsomely or with an offer they couldn't refuse." Harry answered his dad.
"How are you really feeling?" Asked the Doctor gently.
"Truthfully… Numb I don't know if I'm upset or happy or if I'm annoyed and angry yet grateful, what am I supposed to think, I now know why it has been closed off to me, even though time will pass as it does here it will be a very desolate universe even life will end there early now." Harry told his Pere.
"You have a right to those feelings I would be surprised if you didn't but what do you mean life will die early in that universe Muklo?" Explained then asked the Master gently trying to get him to open up more to them.
"If we went to the fifty first century now what is the dominant species out there, I know it's been intermixed and I know that there is no true Earth human left, after the Casandra fiasco, but it is still mainly humans out there, humanity is always looking for more, more answers, more questions from those answers and it is progressing rapidly. That will no longer be there in my birth universe just the other sentient species and what they do with their technology." Harry explained.
"You think humanity has such a big impact?" Asked the Master gently, but he was truly curious to the answer.
"Yes, you do to dad you just stand above them at times because of which civilisation you were born to, we were born into a higher race at birth, that gave us enlightenment and understanding that even the earth will never reach even humanity as a whole, but as I said we are a higher race they will never be able to match us even if time and life were endless in this universe they still would never get to us, it's your intelligence that makes you grumble about them dad, unfortunately that happens to geniuses, they think everyone else is an idiot for not working out what they have, but we have a very unfair advantage we had the benefit of having something that makes us that higher race. We can see Time and all its permutations, but humanity never will, even in the fifty first century they only had vortex manipulators and they are easily abused. As a higher race we were given a calling to look after Time, and we do but you sometimes look down on them dad and you Pere sometime ignore their faults because you know you are a higher race. And yet humanity manged to outlive the Time Lords who were born before the earth was formed out of gasses and meteors turning it into a planet. It makes us arrogant at times, I think honestly if I had stayed in the other universe I would have eventually come to this universe and I would have stayed anyway, I would just have made all the young come with me if I had come knowing what I do now." Harry told them.
"There are a lot of things your dad and I wish we could change Muklo, but we can't and you as well as us, know that. I think you might feel relief that you have found out the truth they had no choice, and you're entitled to that. You now finally know the whole truth from someone you can trust. I know you trust DEATH, but HE wouldn't answer your questions I think your mum is right Muklo you need to be able to use your powers they are yours and we will always support you as we have always said." It was spoken quietly and gently by the Doctor.
"Do you really think humanity have so much potential compared to us at or height?" Asked the Master gently again, but he couldn't see it.
"No simply because they will never be able to see Time and all its permutations! All higher forms of life are gone from this plane of existence in this universe though. Humanity are at that cusp, or will be at their height to what we had but not at our height perhaps as we started out as a race. They just don't have the time length, intelligence or the assistance of a Deity getting directly involved with a planet. No matter what though, as we all know a human cannot handle our brains, it's a sad fact that because of who we are, we will always be a higher form of life. However, I don't think that makes humanity lack potential, they don't. think about it, they worked out how to move through Time, they had their own ships that they could stretch a vortex manipulator around, even if they were very, very small. But they still manage to do it. For a race that can't see Time or know how to grow a TARDIS, that I feel is impressive." Spoke Harry with conviction.
"You are happy here with us still, aren't you?" Asked the Master gently.
"Of course, I am, the day I met you was the best day of my life up until then, gaining Pere along the way was even better, things just kept going up from there, I love all the time we have spent together. Even when I'm in class or working on sexy and you two are on your own or at night, I feel safe here with you two to look out for me, Sirius gets to play godfather because I let out my younger side to him more now but I can also do that with you two, its brilliant feeling and looking fifteen years old physically as well as being an adult of one hundred and fifty eight if we don't count our time in the Time vortex, and you two don't care I've seen you smile just because you see me in a good mood or I do something that I shouldn't and you argue over who's to blame for my mistake, since you both taught me how to pilot the TARDIS, so you feel it's the others fault yet we know in the timeline I messed up by accident, but that's only been a few times over the years and that was Pere telling me to turn the navigator off normally, which lands all three of us in trouble which of course causes you both to snip at each other. I love being in this family it feels like a true family for the first time ever and I can't thank my Father enough for making our paths cross." Harry told them both.
"We were glad to meet you as well, you entering our lives permanently and calling us dad and Pere, is one of the best thing to happen to us since we were tots ourselves." Spoke the Doctor to him gently again but being truly honest and Harry felt the sincerity of his Pere words and love for him down the bond.
"Thank-you." Spoke Harry, that really meant the world to him.
"How do you feel after seeing you mum?" asked the Doctor, Harry took a deep breath.
"It was nice to know the truth and see her in a nice setting, I'm glad she watches over me and is proud of me but I still miss her at times, more so than others probably miss their mothers because I didn't grow up with mum and James, I will always be grateful what they did trying to protect me when DEATH finally sorted me out but it's not the same as it would have been if they had brought me up, as you know other than today the only thing I have of real memories are of her death and saying my last goodbye to her, when I called them to me to accompany me so I could die by Riddle. It was nice to see her and talk but she is no longer here with us, Father wants me to live within a universe and be happy and I am with you two as my dad's." Harry told them.
"At least she was happy for your dad and me that was a shock I thought she would be more upset over that." Spoke the Doctor after a few minutes of silence again trying to help Harry move on.
"No Lilly wasn't like that, she knew, she also knew I cared very deeply for you but wouldn't pry into it when I said it was complicated, remember the drums were quiet but still there at that time, I think she hoped to make me forget everything that night, all it unfortunately did was make them louder and more apparent. It why I vanished on you a few weeks later as you know, my attention had split, and the drums filled it in." The Master told the Doctor.
"From everything I've heard about my mum, she would have been happy for you to move on like she did, she is in the beyond now. You both are together now and you both know it can be a lonely life without others to share it with. The three of us have that as our family, even if we take on another companion soon." Harry told them both.
"We were going for peace and little adventure until you grew more, not until you're eighteen physically at least before we think of that!" Spoke the Master in a no-nonsense tone.
"I'm only saying, it has been a quite a few years since we had company, I know it's not in the Earths timeline but for us it has been, even going to see Sirius is different now, but he's got use to that, but we could find a companion there have been few over the years that you nearly asked to come with us, but you changed your mind and timeline along the way, we have not had another companion since Donna Noble. We really have only taken Luke on visits not as a traveller even if he does have his own room, we only see him for the weekend I know it's been fun for him but as I said it's only the weekend getaway and company for me we don't take him away for weeks and then return him we just have the two days to talk and keep in touch and there are massive gaps for me but not him." Harry told them.
"I thought we agreed you would only keep check on our timeline if you were in the TARDIS rather than your own and the goings on around you?" Asked the Master but they hadn't demanded it of him.
"I do, if I'm out with you I have to keep to my own timeline because of all its permutations, but when I'm here I follow you two around as you said I could and in your timeline, there have been a few over the years that you have changed because you changed your mind on inviting them to travel with us for a bit, other than Luke as I said and Sirius a few times even if we changed all their memories Sirius knows who he is in my life, my godfather, it was fun to go to Disney world with you all after you found out about Father and we discussed what had really happened, having my dad's and godfather trying to get me to be more a tot and have fun, each ride you chose was better than the last one, it was like watching you fight over me it felt great knowing I had that love from all three of you really knowing that helped over that first year." Harry explained to both his dads.
"It was fun those three months, we wanted you to enjoy yourself and relax after finding out about your Father, you always try to act grown up around others its only with us you let the tot out, you need to let Sirius see more of that, that I think will make him much happier, although he spent four years with you on your own and he saw you as the adult child you never were just a tot with him, but he knows you are his godson he knows you went to live with him he even keeps his diary, when we all went to Disney world you enjoyed yourself and had a really fun time, before when you lived with Sirius no one could see you act your physical age totally they only got glimpses, when we took you for those three months you acted more you physical age and had a great time." Spoke the doctor with a small smile for Harry.
"Anyway back on topic, no companions if you want other company we can go back to see Sirius for a bit or take Luke on for another weekend away, then travel some more, the TARDIS is better than she has ever been but you keep saying there is room for improvement, and you're looking into building a Magical Reality Traveling TARDIS which can cross the different universes, you need to see if you can do it with this one first before we even consider letting you at the course to actually learn to grow a TARDIS from scratch." Spoke the Master.
"You mean to tell me after all these years you are admitting to me there is an actual book that tells you how to infuse life into a TARDIS and you've kept that from me?" Asked Harry shocked.
"Yes, but the book is not in the library, you will never find the book until you work it out for yourself, you then know where the book is, so you can read it. It's how it has always been I only know of it because I have the link to this TARDIS, she knows me so well she showed me. When you finally work out what powers a TARDIS then you will know where the book is and know how to grow another one from scratch, you just have to be very good at visualisation and I do mean that, it takes all of the brain power Time Lords or Ladies can use to create one and they could never do it on their own they had to work in concert with others, that is why they were so revered they start the process by building the outer shell of a TARDIS then they create the power source and that causes the TARDIS soul to come alive in the control room through the console unit, then you do the dimensions insides that you want. They always worked in concert with the other growers just to do one TARDIS." Spoke the Doctor gently explaining in full what it would take.
"So that's what the TARDIS has been waiting for, me to work out the infusion of power and creating the soul and then with the course I would be able to build the dimensions inside the shell to work as a TARDIS but with my Magical abilities it could be more if I use that power as well to grow one, implanting the shields for reality travel as I go rather than the normal shielding we have to charge up if we spend too long in the Time Vortex." Harry spoke in contemplation.
"Yes, in essence you need to work out the true power of a TARDIS once you know that as I said the book is there to explain it all, but Muklo the book would take you around six human lifetimes to read and understand, then you would have to imagine building one within the book before you could do it in the real world, but not before then." Spoke the Doctor.
"Well, it's not like we haven't got a very long time left in this universe so I should be able to do it before we learn how to allow us into other universes without even the cracks, I know we can patch them now, but a Magical Reality Traveling Time Ship doesn't do that." Harry again answered them but there was something in his voice.
"Muklo we can't see your timeline properly at the moment son, talk to us please." The Master asked him.
"I miss the idea of mum but also, I don't, if she had lived, I would only be in the other universe, I would never have left it, I would have just been another dead Real Unspeakable…. After mum died and I could no longer see Father, I think he looked at my timeline and altered it to suit me, he even blocked memories for me. As you said I gained SATURN which made me come here and I found my godfather again and then meeting you I gained two dads to take care of me just as Father told me I would get two dads to look after me. But I don't want us to be split up even if I can grow a new TARDIS, wherever we go I want us to go together as a family as we have been. That's I think is what getting at me. If my parents had lived, or mum and James had lived I should say. I may never have had this, my life with you two has been scary at time yes but the fun and adventure in between my lessons it's powerful enough to produce my linguistic science, Patronus without my probe it's become that powerful a collection of memories all pulled into one of love, the love I constantly feel off you two through the bond. Apart from a select few courses it's one of the most taxing uses of linguistic science. The only thing compared is placing wards and enchanting and that is mainly precision I need it to use my probe for with linguistic science." Harry told them.
"Well that means your powers are growing as you told us they would, but it is natural Muklo to feel like that, you said your goodbye when you went to meet you Father, you've got your life now and you are happy with it, probably the most happy you've been from what you just said in a long time, you miss the idea of loving parents growing up in your early years especially with what you had to have blocked, but the life you have lived has brought you into our lives and like we are, you are very happy here, I know you sometimes feel down about being the only Magical Time Lord tot, but now you know the truth, they should have told you when sending you through the vail about the Time running concurrent with this universe. If they knew it was a gateway, then they knew Sirius was likely alive here. Why didn't they tell you about that, did they think him still mad and guilty? Thinking this earth would think him insane and deal with him. Or did they know more than even that? From your memories the gate was never ever explained to you in full before you came across and by then it was too late, they couldn't reach you. Knowing the time ran the same they probably thought they could hold out and waited for you. They may have not mentioned Sirius so you wouldn't look for him instead of dealing with the issue. They were worried about nuclear war, they should have told you everything, then you could have found Sirius via the government see what state he was in and then return to them in minutes probably bringing him back with you which would cause problems for them that they wouldn't want to answer. Or not get bogged down in it just trying to escape. All we really know are the facts which seem to be loaded for you by your Father. As we've said after you first met DEATH for real and remembered HIM you got SATURN, which gave you fun and adventure but also it caused you to have to leave that universe and what happens you walk straight into Sirius, then knowing our planet of origin was gone, but knowing you Father spoke the truth you meet both of us not only that but we end up back at your house where we found out your age. Then just who you were, if you had looked at my timeline then you would have seen me shut down from just that, when I realised what Theta did before he even said anything when Sirius was telling us what Lilly looked like and the fact you travelled in Time, space and reality I put it all together not knowing the full details like you but I knew you were mine, as you know there was an instant connection when you recognised me as one of your parents, but it was there before, I knew in the timeline what was general but as you know trying to look into yours is disastrous, I knew we would find out you were a tot, I felt a lot of emotions at that time towards you with the drums there, but when you stopped them completely I knew I loved you unconditionally! Here in front of me was something I had always wanted, my child. I was still scared as you know about how Theta would treat me once I was thinking rationally since I was eight. I was worried about letting him see me at my worst, which he would have done as you said we both knew how that timeline should have played out and Theta was defiantly going to have seen it himself. There was also relief I could think again for the first time in so, so long, and there was unconditional love for this child hugging me. Even we feel emotions, you've seen both of us direct our emotions at others but with you and thinking straight now there were a lot of emotions I was going through, it's not a disgrace to feel them all even at the same time, you know your mum is at peace and now you know even from the beyond she watches over you and she said herself she is so proud of you as both of us are." Spoke the Master to him while looking at Harry.
"Your dad is right Muklo, you've been in our heads you've seen and felt our own feelings, you know yourself I was angry at the universe after the war, but I was also sad, ashamed, relived it was over and desolate at loosing Gallifrey, when you came into our lives I was happy, not at what you had lived through, but that we had met you a Magical tot then you wanted to become a Magical Time Lord in full and wanted to stay with us both, you made it clear you wanted us to travel as a family even before finding out about your connection to your Father, that is what we are now your dads, back when the earth moved and I got hit I was so proud you screamed at me Pere in your panic at what had happened. When we found out about you, I felt immensely grateful, here was a tot the only tot in the universe and he decided to come with us and within a few years after getting used to seeing Time you called me Pere and continued calling me it and never stopped, you only really use our names in public in the TARDIS you always call me Pere like you call Koschei dad in the TARDIS, but outside you normally use our chosen names when it's called for other time you still call me Pere and to hear you say that and feel the amount of love I feel off you through the bond is indescribable. You might not be mine biologically, but it feels that way with you, it's as though we loomed you ourselves and you got all the best of us. But there are times I still feel sad about losing Gallifrey, that will never change, until we eventually move to another universe and even then, we will miss it still." Explained the Doctor to Harry.
"I think we will all miss our original home no matter where we think that is, we can't even say goodbye to this earth because Theta has already been there, we can't cross the timeline. But you know yourself Muklo what the end of most planets looks like, as you know one way or the other, they end up destroyed as time moves through the universe. At the end of it, there were only two planets left one was only just habitable the other slowly dying, other than the life in the people that were left, something that I twisted further than they had ever been." Spoke the Master going quiet at the end of his explanation it still haunted him what he had done to them, even if they weren't human anymore and they welcomed it, it still bothered him what he had consigned them to. He thought by now they would have destroyed each other off.
"That was the drums dad and one day we will deal with them permanently. What they allowed to happen and what they did, they will answer for their crimes! Then you can remake your watch and replace the DNA once they are gone, as I explained even though they are from an external source we need to separate them and have them pull the command out of your DNA makeup. Once we do that it will be the end of the Time War and all your demons will be put to rest." Answered Harry with conviction.
"Anyway talking about companions what are we going to do if we do pick someone up, you made a separate wing off the main bedroom corridor for us, so we were all near each other now its altered over the years as we've needed it to, first the computer system for you to study at Muklo then the small library that has books for all three of us to read from while you work on you studies, we've gone from two bedroom to just one main one, Sirius' and Luke's rooms are just around the corner from us on the bedroom section but will we move back there?" Asked the Doctor to them both.
"No, we keep our own section, the TARDIS can make a new room to be an outer porch in a sense to our private quarters, She can notify us if there is someone on their way to us to meet them and bring them through to here if we are all happy with that but we need our own space as well, it's why even though Sirius got his own room it's not with us, as awful as it might sound he not immediate family, he my godfather, he knows he can come into this room if he want to get one of us even enter my room to wake me if I'm asleep, but like if I lived in a house and he visited he would get the guest room, which as awful as it may come across is what companions and friends are, guests traveling with us. If you asked any of your old companions Pere, you would always get the same answer they wouldn't trade their time in the TARDIS for anything. But no one will ever stay with us forever even though Jack is immortal in that sense even he will die of old age eventually, it will take a lot of years Rose really pumped him with Time to live that life, bringing him back the way she did I think the TARDIS was allowing her to use her and she didn't know what she was actually doing, I think she thought she was bringing him back to life, not giving him life and Time to live it, meaning he is unable to die until the Time in him runs out, that's why he hurts us to look at him, well, not me so much anymore I can now block him but I have to cut off everything other than my own timelines. Otherwise, I can see the time left in him like you can I just have the advantage because of my Magic my shields are stronger than yours, although you know you have unfettered access to my mind through your bonds." Harry explained he didn't even think about knowing how old Jack lived his dad and Pere still hadn't worked it out, they seemed to have agreed to let the year that was stopped, stay stopped and end it there.
"I think after the evening we have had son that we should all get some rest, we can talk more when you have words to put your emotions to, they are still jumping around all throughout you. Go and get in bed and sleep, I know you don't need it but give your mind a rest remember your dreams they may help you with how you feel in the morning, but if they don't then there is plenty of time for you to work through tonight. It was a lot, but you now know son what happened to your old world and universe." Spoke the Master gently to him.
Harry nodded at that and after giving each a hug he went to his room where he stripped down and took a soak in the bath in his bathroom, he had to admit he had over done it with the help of the TARDIS, his bath was more like a large jacuzzi that massaged you while you floated in it, it was a massive luxury and he had had to stop some of his complaining about the library with a pool in it, lucky now the TARDIS provided the needed books in their sitting room so he didn't have to go to the library if he didn't want to. After about an hour of trying to take his mind off his mum he got out of the bath and went to see his Father he didn't know how long he was with him before he returned but it was a long time and yet not, his dads would know he was gone for the microsecond but now they knew he visited his Father a lot but as he couldn't take his dads they yet, they let him see his Father whenever he wanted, they just kept a check on the bond so knew when he was back and that he was still with them again through the bonds knowing he was gone and returned, it no longer panicked them like it had his dad that first time his Father pulled him to HIS home after he had told them of his connection to DEATH. Harry thought his Father had kept him out of the universe longer than needed to make his dad come to his room on his own knowing he would have put it off with him being upset with his Pere. His Father had said a few seconds had passed when he could come and go in a microsecond now.
