Pokémon Survivor Borneo Episode 1 No need to yell in my ear.
Jeff Probst was seen flying over Borneo in a helicopter looking over the islands of Borneo. Below was a ship full of the first 16 Pokémon rushing to grab supplies.
"We are over the islands of Borneo where 16 Pokémon will be competing to be crowned the first survivor winner." Jeff said below a Charizard was knocked other over trying to grab a basket of fruit.
"We have the grass tribe consisting of Bulbasaur." Bulbasaur was carrying some pineapples. "Venusaur" Venusaur was using vines to get the raft down. "Charmeleon." Charmeleon was pushing Weedle over to grab some firewood. "Squirtle" Squirtle was already in the water as teammates were throwing supplies in for her. "Blastoise!" Blastoise was wrestling a box of tools from Charizard.
Blastoise's Confession: We are the first group of Pokémon to play Survivor! I am so excited! I want to show all the Wartortles and Squirtles that you can be big and smart in this game!
"Metapod" Metapod was on the raft already. "Weedle" Weedle was jumping off the boat. "And Beedrill"
Beedrill's Confession: In this game I need to get people on my side. Right now, on first looks we have a team of weaklings and strong people. But I see a Weedle. He would be a very good ally to have on my side. But overall, we have the slightly stronger team seeing that Venusaur and Blastoise are getting most of the supplies.
"The other Tribe is the Fire Tribe consisting of Ivysaur." Ivysaur is lowering the raft.
Ivysaur's Confession: I am a bit nervous being the only grass type on the tribe. I hope it does not bite me later but for now I just need to be useful since I doubt others on the tribe will pull their weight.
"Charmander and Charizard." Both were pushing away the weaker Pokémon to get supplies. "Wartortle." Wartortle was getting the raft down. "Caterpie." Caterpie was pulling a bag of rice. "Butterfree and Kakuna." Butterfree was flying Kakuna down to the raft.
Butterfree's Confession: I cannot believe that Kakuna wanted a lift down. He hates water so instead of me getting some supplies he wanted me to bring him down. We have a water type to help him.
"And finally, Pidgey" Pidgey was the last one off with a small bag of tools.
"39 days, 16 contestants, one survivor!" Jeff said
Grass Tribe Day 1
The tribe was paddling to their island as Blastoise and Squirtle was doing the paddling.
"I can see the island." Weedle said "It's getting close."
"Good, because I am getting tired" Squirtle replied
"I am still good; you can take a break if you want." Blastoise said laughing
"You sure you do not need help?" Venusaur asked holding the supplies with his vines. "I can use the paddle"
"No this is easier" Blastoise said
"He says that he is good" Beedrill said shrugging his shoulders
Beedrill's Confession: I am already looking at possible alliances. Squirtle and Blastoise are very close and could be a concern in the future but both are working hard. Bulbasaur and Venusaur are another twosome that are a threat being from the same evolutionary line.
The tribe got to the island as everyone started to unpack.
"So, what should we do first?" Venusaur asked
"Well, I was thinking shelter and water" Bulbasaur replied as he pulled off a basket of fruit.
"Yeah, do whatever you guys want." Charmeleon said "I will do whatever."
"Great come help me with the shelter" Venusaur said
Charmeleon's Confession: I am not getting a good vibe from this tribe. Sure, they all might act all nice but I know that the tribe will be divided. As long as I do not go home first. So far, I will just play along and watch these losers take each other out.
Venusaur, Bulbasaur, and Charmeleon started to work on the shelter as Beedrill took Metapod and Weedle out to find water.
"So, I was thinking right now that we make an alliance." Beedrill offered "Us bugs need to stick together."
"Agreed I do not want those stupid Grass or Water types to get an edge on us." Weedle replied "The water types are so fake."
"And Venusaur wants us to work. I have limited energy to burn." Metapod said
"Well, if we can get Charmeleon we can get 4 strong and get the water and grass against each other." Beedrill plotted
Weedle's Confession: I hate water types. We are on an island and to them they can go anywhere. Land or water while I have to stay on land. I want them gone as soon as possible.
Back at camp Charmeleon started the fire as Squirtle and Blastoise brought over some fish they caught.
"Nice work." Venusaur said "We can eat these tonight after cooking them up."
"Good. We can catch a few more later but let us help with the shelter" Squirtle said
"Hopefully Beedrill and the others found water." Blastoise added "Not that I need it."
Blastoise's Confession: I can drink from the ocean. The one advantage me and Squirtle have right now. While some might want to keep it down low, I like to give a slight boasting and they will know not to save water for us. More for them.
Fire Tribe Day 1
The tribe arrived at the beach and started to unload the supplies.
"Well, we could have done better." Charizard said "We only got half of the food the other tribe got. Plus, no fire wood or rope."
"Well, I have string shot." Caterpie said
"It only lasts for a few hours idiot" Charizard snapped making Caterpie retreat a few feet.
"Hey she is just trying to help." Butterfree said "We need to make shelter and find water."
"Fine but I am in charge of the shelter." Charizard said
Charizard's Confession: This tribe is weak. While the other tribe has Venusaur and Blastoise this tribe only has me so they cannot afford to get rid of me at all. If they do well this would be a VERY stupid tribe.
"Well, I can put together a mean shelter." Ivysaur offered "I can use my vines to construct the roof."
"No, we do not need you." Charmander snapped "Go and find us water."
"Hey I was just…"
"Listen to her and go!" Charizard yelled as Ivysaur walked off with Pidgey and Wartortle.
Pidgey's Confession: We just arrived and Charizard is already giving out orders and taking it upon himself to be the leader. So far, I am less than impressed. He is acting like a dictator. And not a good one either.
"So, I was wondering." Ivysaur said as they were just out of sight from the beach "Do you two want to be in an alliance?"
"Sure, I am tired of Charizard and Charmander already." Wartortle said
"I am in." Pidgey added
"Good, we need Charizard for now but I am thinking either one of the bugs or Charmander depending on immunity." Ivysaur said
Ivysaur's Confession: I get good vibes from Pidgey and Wartortle. Wartortle is pretty strong and Pidgey is nice so they would make good allies. Right now, I just want us three to lay low and hope that Charizard keep making drama putting the target on him.
Back at camp Caterpie was dragging palm leaves over.
"Are these good?" Caterpie asked
"No, too small." Charmander said "Go back and get bigger ones."
"Okay." Caterpie said sighing
Caterpie's Confession: I am trying to help out but the only one that Charizard and Charmander seem to compliment is Butterfree. I mean I am small and doing my best.
Grass Tribe Day 1
The shelter was nearing completion already.
"Looks good." Bulbasaur said happily
"Could not have done it better myself." Venusaur added "We need a little more work but it should hold us."
"Yeah, luckily." Charmeleon said
Venusaur's Confession: I worked all day on this shelter and I am glad that it is completed before the sun went down. That is when I am less active. I need the sun for my energy.
The bugs came back to see the shelter as Beedrill had a pot of water.
"Great job guys." Beedrill complimented "Already this looks stable."
"Well, tomorrow I am going to get some palm leaves to make it comfy." Venusaur added
"Anything to make it better." Metapod replied not really caring as Weedle was silent.
Metapod's Confession: I don't really care about the shelter. I have seen better. If I was a Butterfree I could do a better job. But I am stuck as a Metapod for now.
"Well, I think it is great!" Blastoise yelled "Granted I can sleep in the water but it's perfect!"
"Glad to hear it." Venusaur said "So how far is the water?"
"About a mile away…but we have fresh water. They said to boil it but we probably will only do that to cook with." Beedrill noted
"So far we are doing awesome guys!" Squirtle yelled
Weedle's Confession: God these water types keep yelling. Just shut up already. Yes, we have fresh water and shelter. No need to yell in my ear.
Fire Tribe Day 1
So far, the shelter was far from finished as Charizard and Charmander could not get the supports in.
"This is impossible!" Charizard yelled "This *beep*ing wood will not stay!"
"You need to dig it into the ground more!" Butterfree yelled
"Yeah! I can't help but I can see from here." Kakuna added
Kakuna's Confession: This is not going well from us. The sun is almost down and we have no shelter. It is hot and soon it can rain. Of course, Caterpie and Butterfree both gave us due to Charizard not wanting help. I know Ivysaur also offered but nope. Charizard wants all the glory to himself.
Ivysaur came back "So what happened to the shelter?"
"Shut up!" Charmander snapped "Like you can do any better."
"I think I can…if you will let me help." Ivysaur replied "I mean you two tried."
"What? You think we did not do enough!?" Charmander yelled
"No, he was not saying that!" Caterpie defended
"Shelters are hard…I only have experience helping in construction." Ivysaur said
Charmander's Confession: That ass! He thinks since he worked construction that he could insult us like that! We did our best and I doubt that he could do any better.
Ivysaur started construction of the shelter with the help of Wartortle, Pidgey, and Butterfree. By night fall the supports were in place.
"That is enough for now." Ivysaur said "By tomorrow we will have to get a platform to hold all of us."
"Great!" Caterpie said "I think we can do it."
Ivysaur's Confession: I work in construction so this is second nature. My vines make it easy to set everything up. However, Charizard and Charmander did next to nothing to help but they can pout all they want. I made a shelter.
Grass Tribe Day 2
The tribe was up and cooking except for Metapod and Weedle who were just hanging out in the shelter.
"Disappointing." Venusaur said
"Yeah, they are the weaker ones they should be pulling their own weight." Charmeleon added "If they keep it up one of them is going home if we lose tomorrow."
Charmeleon's Confession: I am not taking this crap today. I am tired and hungry and I do not need two lazy bugs to sleep all day. And don't claim to be saving your energy for the challenges they are both the weakest on this tribe.
"So, are you guys going to do any work?" Venusaur asked "Because we need firewood to cook the fish later."
"I have no hands" Metapod replied
"Yeah, and I need energy." Weedle added
"Come on guys we need everyone to work here." Beedrill said stepping in "If not you are just targets waiting."
"Fine" Weedle said getting up as Metapod stayed in the shelter.
"Umm…I can't move" Metapod said
Beedrill's Confession: I am kind of regretting my alliance right now. Both are the weakest and the laziest. But maybe I can ditch one of them and keep the other.
"Damnit" Venusaur said walking off as Bulbasaur followed.
"You, okay?" Bulbasaur asked as they got far enough away.
"Yeah, it's just frustrating sometimes." Venusaur replied "I mean the three of us work hard and the others seem not to care…mostly the three bugs."
Venusaur's Confession: I am doing the best I can here but it can be tough. I need to not get frustrated. I lived a long time and I expect people to work. I watch over 50 Bulbasaurs where I am and they all work to keep the gardens nice.
Back at camp Blastoise comes back with some fish.
"Hey guys we got fish…where is Venusaur?" he asked
"Oh, he went off with Bulbasaur." Squirtle replied
"He is either having a meltdown or forming an alliance." Weedle replied "Either way I don't care."
Blastoise's Confession: Dang and Venusaur is one of our best…oh well I will just save him a fish. That should make him happy!
Fire Tribe Day 2
The shelter was being more and more finished during the day as Charizard and Charmander stood back watching no longer helping.
Ivysaur's Confession: Right now, both fire Pokémon refuse to help. This is not the time to have an ego. I am not sleeping on the beach again. Luckily Wartortle was helping me today as the bugs were grabbing vines and palm leaves for rope.
"You know this could go faster if you two helped." Ivysaur said
"No, you got this." Charmander replied "You can have all the glory."
"Who wants glory? I just want a place to sleep." Ivysaur said obviously annoyed "You two are making a big deal out of this."
"Well maybe you should not criticize our work." Charizard snapped "Besides your shelter sucks."
"Hey he is doing great work!" Caterpie butted in "It looks great."
"Shut the *beep* up." Charmander said making Caterpie back away
"Hey calm down this is just about the shelter." Kakuna said
Kakuna's Confession: Day 2 and half of the tribe is fighting but as long as I am not involved, I should be fine. I am trying to keep any targets off myself and by standing back and sometimes being the peacemaker I should be fine.
"Okay, let's just all stop right now. We need shelter. We have fire and water." Butterfree said
"Yeah, let's not fight." Wartortle said
"Whatever." Charizard said storming off pushing over a tree.
"What a jackass." Wartortle said
Wartortle's Confession: Charizard and Charmander are first out. Unless someone else screws up even more.
"Well, if we lose one of them will be going." Butterfree said "I don't care how stronger they are if they act like that they go home."
"I agree." Caterpie said "They should not be here if they cannot act mature."
Butterfree's Confession: My goal right now is to get an alliance with me to the end. Kakuna and Caterpie seem like good allies for now. As long as they are loyal and I call the shots. Caterpie is willing to go along with me and Kakuna will latch on to safety.
Immunity Day 3
The tribes walked into the immunity area and onto their mats.
"Welcome to immunity. First things first Grass Tribe how is camp life?" Jeff asked
"We have shelter and fire. Some need to pull their weight with food" Weedle replied
"And Fire Tribe?" Jeff asked
"Well, we are almost done with our shelter but we have plenty of food and water." Caterpie replied leaving out the drama.
"For today's challenge you will be carrying fire on a raft. You will swim 100 meters with the raft before going to the beach where you will run another 100 meters lighting torches on the way until you get the last torch once that is lit your flag will raise. First tribe to the end wins immunity." Jeff explained as the tribes' swim to the ocean to their raft. "Survivors ready…go!"
Both tribes started swimming to shores. Grass Tribe was slightly ahead thanks to Blastoise and Squirtle as they got to the beach first. Metapod was being carried as Fire Tribe was making land. Caterpie and Kakuna were making the tribe go slower as Grass Tribe increased their lead as they light torch after torch until they get to the end and light the last one.
"Grass Tribe Wins immunity!" Jeff yelled as Grass Tribe cheers "Congratulations you are immune tonight. However, for Fire Tribe one of you will be going to Tribal Council tonight."
Fire Tribe Day 3
The tribe came back to camp very disappointed.
"Wow, they have some strong members on their tribe." Pidgey said "We had no chance."
"We had some dead weight." Charizard muttered a bit enough for others to hear.
Pidgey's Confession: We fell behind early in the challenge and we could not recover. I was hoping we would win the first one but now we have to vote someone off. Which sucks.
"Well, we need to decide who goes home tonight." Butterfree said "This is going to be tough."
"Easy for me." Charmander said "Either Caterpie or Kakuna."
"Hey, I might be weak physically but I am strong mentally." Kakuna replied
"And I put in effort." Caterpie added
"Effort means nothing when you two cannot pull your weight in challenges." Charizard added
Butterfree's Confession: This is not good. As soon as we got back to camp fingers were being pointed at my allies. I need to get the targets off of them. I have a couple of options. I can go after Charmander or Ivysaur. If I can put them against each other than my allies will be safe.
Butterfree gathered her allies Caterpie and Kakuna to discuss the vote.
"The plan is to get the fire types against Ivysaur's group." Butterfree explained "I think we can use that drama from the last three days."
"Leave manipulating Charizard and Charmander to me." Kakuna said
"I don't really like to manipulate…" Caterpie replied
"I can get Ivysaur." Butterfree said flying off.
Caterpie's Confession: I am not one to play mean. I just want to use my social game to get far. Is that so wrong?
Butterfree met with Ivysaur and his alliance.
"So, I was thinking for tribal tonight we take out Charmander." She suggested "We need Charizard now but Charmander is expendable."
"I agree, she is pretty weak." Ivysaur agreed
"Yeah, but so was Kakuna and Caterpie." Wartortle replied
"We can save them for another round but right now Charmander is causing half of the drama." Butterfree explained
Wartortle's Confession: Butterfree is right but at the same time we need strength. Charmander is not stronger but she is stronger than Caterpie and Kakuna.
"We are in. She is a goner." Ivysaur said "Nice talking to you."
On the other side of camp Kakuna was talking to Charizard
"So, you want Ivysaur to go?" Charizard asked
"Yeah, he is targeting Charmander." Kakuna said hoping Butterfree's plan works. "But we rather have your strength and plus you two can make fire."
"Hmppph you are right. He is as good as gone." Charmander said "Stupid grass type."
Kakuna's Confession: This is easy. Trying to get those two to turn on their ally is too simple. But if they do vote for one of us, I need to figure out how to keep the target off me.
Before the vote Ivysaur and Charizard meet up.
"So, did Butterfree talk to you about voting me off?" Ivysaur asked
"No, it was Kakuna." Charizard replied "And did the bugs want Charmander to get voted out?"
"Yeah, I know that alliance is manipulating us. I say we can turn the tables on them." Ivysaur suggested "Truce?"
Ivysaur's Confession: So, the bugs think they could get me voted out tonight. Well, I could take them out or maybe take the chance they are trying to get Charmander out and vote her out. Either way someone is going home. Hopefully it is not me.
Tribal Council
"Welcome to Tribal Council." Jeff said "Grab a torch and let's get started. "So Wartortle should I assume that someone was lying that everything was going well at camp?"
"Yes." Wartortle replied "It has been nonstop drama the entire time. Two members wanted to build a shelter and when they failed, they cried about it when someone else stepped up."
"Kakuna which two members was he referring to?" Jeff asked
"Charmander and Charizard. One I expect being a first evolution Pokémon the other needs to grow up." Kakuna replied
"Shut it bug or I will squish you." Charizard replied
"Hey we are on the same side here." Kakuna said
"Charizard is that a way you should treat your tribemates?" Jeff asked surprised
"Yeah, for me at least. They cannot vote me out. I am the strongest in this tribe!" Charizard yelled "They vote me out they will all regret it!"
"Is he always like that?" Jeff asked
"Yes, sadly" Kakuna replied "He has been like that since day 1. Not all challenges will be strength based. Some will be mental and willpower."
"Ivysaur any thoughts on who is going home tonight?" Jeff asked
"Yeah, Charmander." Ivysaur replied "Charizard is right we need his strength for now. Charmander is weak."
"Hey I pulled my weight!" Charmander snapped
"But you are still one of the weaker ones." Ivysaur reminded "And pulling your weight around camp needs more than pouting or insulting others."
"Charmander, do you pull your weight around camp?" Jeff asked
"Of course, or at least, I tried." Charmander replied "Until Ivysaur butted in and made a pathetic shelter."
"Well, the shelter has held us and it keeps the rain out." Caterpie said
"It is time to vote Ivysaur you are up first." Jeff said as Ivysaur voted followed by Charmander than Charizard than Wartortle before Caterpie voted as her vote was hidden.
"Sorry but it has to be done." Caterpie said as Butterfree votes followed by Kakuna and finally Pidgey.
"I will read the votes" Jeff said grabbing the urn. "First vote…"

"We made a truce." He said
"First person voted out of Survivor…"
Caterpie
"Aww and I was having fun." Caterpie said going up to Jeff with her torch.
"Caterpie the tribe has spoken" he said snuffing her torch as she walked off "The first one voted out was not even on my radar. Head back to camp."
Caterpie's Final Words: Aww it sucks to be the first one voted off but it is how it went. I still had fun and I made a few friends. I guess if I want anyone to win it would be Ivysaur. He is carrying this tribe both in camp and in challenges.

Notes on Caterpie. Caterpie was suppose to be the surprise boot in the first episode hence the low screentime only with a couple of confessionals and some lines. But Caterpie did not have a long-term story but if she got to the merge she would have gotten far with her social game.
