Party Monster

Chapter 1: Break Up

Parties are a great way to meet people and fortunately for Lucy, her life would change after meeting him for the first time. It was a few weeks after she had broken up with her boyfriend Hibiki after she found him cheating on her, luckily for her she reunites with her best friend Natsu at her friend Gray's party, they spend one hot night together only to realize they were what they have been searching for all along. This fic is based on Party Monster by The Weeknd. I do not own Fairy Tail or the song. There will be some hot Nalu stuff in this story.

Stupid, how could she have been so stupid, she should have known what to expect from Hibiki he was a playboy after all. She was furious, she knew what to expect from a douche like him, but still that didn't mean it didn't hurt. Nothing he would say or do would ever make her take him back, and that's exactly what she told him. She wasn't going to waste time crying over it however, she knew there was no use in crying about, especially after telling her friends.

"I'm sorry that happened Lu-chan, what an asshole." Her friend Levy said patting her back. Levy, Cana, and Juvia had told her that dating him was a bad idea, but she was a sucker for sweet talk, of course no one teased her more than her friend Cana, she had been able to see this shit from a mile away, and I guess you could say, she was about to get a whole lot of "I Told You So's" from the brunette.

"I don't know why I always attract such douches, is there something wrong with me, Am I never going to find a guy who likes me for something other than my body. GAAHAAAAAAAAAH, I hate this shit." The blonde whined pulling her hair in an effort to regain her composure.

"Look Lucy if you give us the word then we will go kick his ass right now." Erza said cracking her knuckles, making a shiver go down everyone's spine.

As tempting as the offer was Lucy did not to potentially face charges of assault. She wasn't the type of girl to want revenge, she was too much of a nice girl for that, and maybe that's why guys like Hibiki go for her, they think they can walk all over her, well Lucy Heartfilia was no pushover, that was evident when she kicked him out.

"It's a good thing you kicked him out, you shouldn't waste time over someone like him." Her friend Juvia stated as she snuggled into her boyfriend's arms. "I think we should slash his tires, don't you Gray?" Gray just huffed not really caring, although the thought was tempting, Lucy was like a sister to him, and anyone who hurt her would pay dearly, but if Lucy didn't anyone to seek revenge on her behalf, they wouldn't.

"There is no need for that, in all honesty it's not worth it, he's not worth it." Lucy said taking a sip of drink.

"Well, I'm having a party tonight, you should come by Lucy." the raven-haired male stated as he and Juvia got up to leave.

"Bye, guys." Lucy said as the two headed out of the café to their apartment. Lucy stayed for a little while longer talking with the rest of her friends before paying her tab and heading home. "I'll see you all at the party tonight ok." Lucy said walking out of the bar to her car. The drive to her house wasn't far, and since the party wasn't until the evening that would give her enough time to rest up and take it easy. Gray and Juvia lived next door, so she could just walk there.

When Lucy finally made it to her house, she immediately took a shower and went to find an outfit for the night. 'Hmmm, I wonder if I should wear that outfit Sting and Yukino got me for my birthday?' she asked herself, before finally settling for an elegant red dress with a slit that ran down the leg and black heels. She stole a quick glance at her watch, the time read 430 so she had at least another hour to kill before she headed over.

She decided to bring some stuff over as well, she didn't want to show up empty handed after all. "Let's see, I have a few bottles of wine I'm bringing, and of course some whiskey because Cana loves whiskey, what else should I bring with me." She asked herself. "Maybe I should text Gray and Juvia and ask."

As she was about to text them she received a text on her phone from said couple which read. You don't need to bring much since its just close friends, by the way there may or may not be something here waiting for you .

A look of confusion swept across the blonde's face, what did Juvia mean by that, she immediately brushed it off as Juvia being cryptic, and made her way to her bathroom for a shower.

'Ahhh, much better.' She said to herself, as she made her way to her bedroom, she decided to keep her outfit simple and casual, instead of the dress and heels, she would just wear a simple pink blouse and black mini skirt with black leggings. Making her way to her closet she retrieved the pink shirt, she smiled to herself, the color made her instantly think of him. How was he? It had been a while since Natsu left to help his dad with the family business, and she would never admit it, but she found herself getting more attracted to him, they had been friends since they were children, after all their families knew each other. Unfortunately for her, Natsu was as dense as cardboard when it came to romance, but that wasn't his fault, he was always busy so she couldn't really blame him could she?

Lucy doesn't realize that she started crying until she feels a stray tear fall down her face. Immediately wiping it away she decides that she won't be sad, she chooses to be happy, its not like she would never see him again. Before leaving she quickly glances at a picture frame of her coffee table. Lifting the frame into her hands she looks at the picture, it was a picture of her and Natsu at Sting and Yukino's wedding, the day before he left. A smile creeps across her face as she puts the picture down and heads out the door.

'I miss you Natsu, I really want to see you again.' She says to herself as she makes her way to Gray and Juvia's not knowing that she was in for the surprise of her life.

Well, here is the first chapter to Party Monster, I hope you guys enjoy it and I'll try to be more consistent with uploading but I can't promise anything. I have missed writing and hope you guys enjoy this chapter.
