Parties aren't really Tomura's thing. The music's always too loud. There are too many people. And he always gets roped into doing something he regrets later. Unfortunately, when you live where the party's being held, you don't have much of a choice but to attend.

He wanted to just spend the whole time locked in his dorm, but Toga and Izuku talked him into playing a game with a few of the other students attending the party. He doesn't remember the name of the game, just that it's a combination of Truth or Dare and Spin the Bottle. Basically, whoever's turn it is has to spin the bottle and decide to either kiss the person it lands on or do a dare. The dares are all written down on cards in a bowl. It took Izuku assuring him that he could just do dares the whole time if he wanted to convince him to participate.

Other than the three of them, Shoto, Denki, Shinso, Monoma, Mirio, Amajiki, Sero, Mei, Ochako, Bakugo, and Kirishima are playing. Mineta wanted to play, but the girls and Shoto refused to let him join. Before the game started, Bakugo, the one who suggested the game in the first place, explained the rules. No re-spins. No switching dares. No quirks. Looking pointedly at Toga, he states, "No hurting other players." Turning his glare on Shoto, he adds, "And no sitting in laps. Yes, that one was made because of you Icy Thot!"

"Why does he call you that?" Mirio asks the heterochromatic teen.

"Because he thought it would be a good idea to fuck most of the guys in our year," Bakugo growls.

"And don't kiss anyone that doesn't want to be kissed," Shinso quickly changes the subject. "We're all trying to have fun. Don't make it weird."

With the rules settled, Bakugo spins the empty soda bottle in the middle of the circle. It spins and spins and spins before stopping on Izuku. Staring at the green haired teen, he contemplates taking a dare before deciding against it. He leans across the circle and drags his childhood friend into a quick kiss.

"You can do better than that, Kacchan," Izuku jokes before spinning the bottle. When it lands on Toga, he visibly pales. "Who has the dares?"

The psychotic blonde laughs at the way his voice cracks. "That's okay. I'm over you anyways."

"Finally." Unfolding the paper, the green-haired teen reads, "'Share a secret about the person to your left'." He hums in contemplation before finally saying, "I don't really know Tenko's secrets. We're still trying to catch up on lost time and get to know each other. Would something he did when we were little count?" A chorus of yes's prompts him to share one of the few memories he has of his cousin from back then. "When we were really little, we'd dress up as heroes with whatever we could find in my room and chase each other around the apartment pretending we were heroes until his dad came to pick him up. I still have the blanket you always used as a cape."

The former villain laughs at the memory. "I barely remember that far back."

"I'll ask mom to track down her old scrapbooks," he offers as Toga spins the bottle. "She has boxes full of them and a bunch of videos of us. Apparently a two-year-old counts as a small object."

"Yay!" Toga exclaims when the bottle lands on Ochako.

Shaking her head, the gravity reversing girl snaps, "Absolutely not! Someone give her a dare."

Toga just pouts before accepting the folded paper. "One day, my dear. One day." Unfolding the paper, she reads, "'Call the last person you texted.' What if he doesn't answer? I think he's a little busy, uh, getting busy." She winks at Tomura as if the two of them are in on some sort of secret.

"Then hang up. The dare is just to call," Bakugo states. "And put it on speaker."

The blood-thirsty blonde is practically bouncing as the phone rings. "What do you want, crazy? I'm in the middle of something."

"Oh, nothing. We're just playing a little game. What were you doing?"

"None of your damn business. Get back to your game, kid."

"At least say hi to Tomura and Shoto before you hang up."

"Are they actually there or are you messing with me again?"

"We're here," Shoto answers.

"What are you guys playing?"

"Kiss or Dare. Bakugo suggested it."

"And they managed to get Tomura to play?" Keigo's distant voice holds a tone of disbelief. "Impressive."

Tomura scoffs, "I'm not that boring!"

"Never said you were, boss. You're just not usually this social."

"Stop teasing him," the winged man orders. "Tomura, have fun. Toga, please try not to commit any felonies tonight."

"I make no promises."

"Toga."

"Fine," the shapeshifter whines. "No felonies."

"Good girl. Now, we're going to get back to our movie. You kids have fun."

When the call ends, Ochako spins the bottle. It stops on Amajiki. He looks like his soul left his body for a solid five seconds before he turns redder than Kirishima's hair. A few people in the circle start to laugh, making the boy turn even redder.

"Guys, don't laugh at him," Ochako says. "Amajiki, would you rather I do one of the dares? I don't mind."

The shy teen shakes his head. "It-it's fine," he stutters. "J-just part of th-the game."

"Close your eyes," she instructs. When his dark eyes squeeze shut, the bubbly girl softly kisses him. He flinches but manages to sit still instead of immediately bolting like he wants to. "See," she says when she pulls away. "That wasn't so bad."

Still blushing, Amajiki doesn't answer her. Instead, he just spins the bottle. It lands on Kirishima. He quickly kisses his friend before getting up and running away from the group. "I'll go check on him," Mirio says. When he stands and follows his boyfriend, Mei instructs everyone to close the circle. When everyone's skooched closer together, Kirishima takes his turn.

The bottle spins longer than it had for the previous players but eventually lands on Monoma. "Sorry, man, that's not happening. Hey, Takami. Pass the dares." As requested, Tomura slides the bowl of folded papers across the middle of the circle. Kirishima makes a show of mixing up the papers before finally picking one to read aloud. "'Wear a cheerleading outfit for the rest of the game.' Do we even have one in my size?"

"I do," Denki exclaims. The electric blonde jumps to his feet and quickly drags his classmate away.

"If you want to get snacks, I suggest you go now," Bakugo says. "They're going to be a while and we're not moving on until they get back."

"Call me when they get back," Tomura instructs his cousin before escaping back to his dorm for a little while.

The relative silence is like a breath of fresh air. The blue haired teen was starting to get overwhelmed. As with every party he's been to, the music was too loud and there were too many people. It still feels like his mind is buzzing. He paces from one side of his room to the other a few times before laying on the floor. He doesn't know how long he lays there before someone knocks on his door.

He ignores the knocking. Izuku will call him when he needs to go back downstairs to continue playing the game; the person at the door can wait. He just closes his eyes and tries to ignore the rhythmic thump of the bass that can still be felt four floors up.

"Is the floor comfortable?" Sero asks from the now open door. It takes a moment for Tomura to process that Sero, the guy he's had a massive crush on for weeks, is the one that was knocking on his door. No amount of thinking is producing a response, so he just stares at his classmate. "Hey, are you okay?" Tomura nods. "Is it cool if I join you?" He nods again and the dark-haired teen lays on the floor beside him.

An awkward silence falls over the two. One thought plays on loop in Tomura's mind before he says, "You saw the interview, didn't you?"

Embarrassment colors his cheeks pink when Sero says, "The whole class did. Midoriya thought it would be a good way to support you guys." Silence again. "You really shouldn't tell Dark Shadow secrets."

The former villain can't help but laugh. "I'm starting to realize that."

As Tomura's laughter dies down, Sero asks, "Were they serious? Do you really like me?"

The light pink of Tomura's blush quickly darkens as he looks away. "M-maybe," he stutters a quiet response as he absentmindedly adjusts the straps on his gloves. "It's em-embarrassing."

"Crushes usually are, but that's okay. Hey, can you look at me?" He hesitates before turning back to his friend. Sero's smile seems to brighten as he brushes Tomura's hair out of his face.

Just as he opens his mouth to say something, Tomura's phone rings. "Th-that's probably Izuku," the flustered teen informs. Quickly getting up off the floor, he stammers, "W-we should ge-get back to t-th-the g-game."

His blush only seems to intensify as he quickly leaves his dorm and heads down the hall to the elevator. The dim lights in the common area help to hide it. The only one who notices is Toga, who knows better than to point it out to the group. Instead, the young psychopath gives him a knowing, mischievous look before returning to her spot in the circle.

"Now presenting," Denki announces from the doorway, "Cheerleader Kirishima!" The red head skips through the door before doing a back handspring over Todoroki, landing in front of Bakugo.

"What do you think, Katsuki?"

"I think you're keeping that outfit for later and the copycat needs to take his fucking turn," the explosive blonde snaps.

As Kirishima moves back to his original spot, Monoma spins the bottle. When it comes to a stop pointing at Shinso, the brainwasher rolls his eyes. He can't stop giggling as he crawls over to the purple haired teen. The quiet laughs cease just long enough for him to initiate the kiss, but they bubble back up after a few seconds.

After Monoma returns to his seat, Shinso takes his turn. It barely spins all the way around twice from the unenthusiastic attempt before stopping on Tomura. Upon seeing just how much color drains from the nervous teen, Shinso decides against kissing him. He instead reaches past Denki and Bakugo to snatch a dare from the bowl in Kirishima's lap.

"Okay, who wrote this one?"

"What does it say?" Denki asks.

"'Fuck, marry, kill; the top three heroes. Explain.'"

"Oh, that was me," Shoto smirks.

"I hate you."

"I'm okay with that."

Sighing, Shinso takes a second to think before answering. "Fuck Jeanist, because he's the safest option and he'd probably tie me up." He gets a few cheers and whistles for that reasoning. "Kill Endeavor, because he's an abusive, narcissistic, dumpster fire of a human being. And I guess marry Hawks, because that's the only option left. I'm also pretty sure his fiancé would kill me and burn the body if I even thought about touching him, and I kind of like breathing."

"To be fair, Touya would probably make you disappear for any of those option," Shoto states.

Shaking his head, Tomura spins the bottle. "Dad wouldn't let him. They're working on keeping the criminal activity to a mini-" He stops mid-sentence as the bottle slowly stops, pointing at Sero. The blush he had finally willed away returns with a vengeance.

Before he can decide between taking this golden opportunity and accepting a dare, the party abruptly ends. The lights are flipped on and the music is shut off. In the doorway stands their eternally tired teacher and visibly disappointed teacher's assistant. There's a moment of tense silence before the students from other classes rush to get back to their own dorms before the underground hero gives them detention for breaking curfew.

When the only ones remaining are his twenty-two students, he activates his erasure. "Go. To. Bed," he orders. "You will all have morning detention tomorrow to clean up this mess. Now, go."

"Yes, sensei," the class obediently responds as they accept their shared fate.

Tomura tries to ignore the amused look on Oboro's face as he passes his former caretaker on his way to the elevator with the rest of his class. He and Sero are among the third set of students. To Tomura's surprise, Sero gets off the elevator with him instead of going up to the next floor where his dorm is located.

An awkward, nervous silence falls over the pair as the walk to the last dorm on the hall. Once they reach the door, Sero tentatively grabs Tomura's wrist. He's careful not to touch his hand, as he's seen that trigger the boy's anxiety. When he has his attention, he leans in and kisses him softly. It only lasts a few seconds before the two part.

"I like you too," Sero confesses. "I'll see you tomorrow."

He doesn't give Tomura the chance to process his words and respond before making his way back down the hall. He doesn't see the brightest smile that's graced Tomura's features in more than a decade. He doesn't see how he's practically floating as he finally enters his dorm. And he definitely doesn't see that Tomura almost immediately called his dad to report one of the happiest moments in his young life.
