And here it is. The Final Chapter. I can't believe the story is done already. I've spent all day writing this extra long chapter and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

The Final Battle Part Three

Raylan and Carol battled Viren ferociously whilst Felix kept Bait shielded behind him with Zym and the Adoraburrs. Whilst Carol blew wind with her spear to deflect Viren's magic attacks, Raylan leapt and tried to attack him but he kept dodging out of the way. The elf was burning with rage, wishing to bring that mage to justice.

"You're wasting your energy kids!" Viren scoffed.

"Says the guy who wants to harness a baby dragon like it's a magic battery!" Carol shot 'Fulminis' but Viren blocked it. He shot it back at her but she jump-rolled out of the way. "You always were a thorn in my side, step-princess! How I wished those mages had captured you according to plan!"

Raylan froze. "According to plan?"

Carol was shocked. "You hired those mages to kidnap me!"

"No. They offered me the power to take down the King of the Dragons if I orchestrated your kidnapping,"

"Then you betrayed them to keep your treachery hidden when it failed," she figured it out.

"Like you did your own son," Raylan seethed.

Viren had enough talk. He struck again, casting a spell that blasted them back. But they got back on their feet again.

Felix knew he had to do something. Suddenly Zym noticed the end of his tail was glowing bright golden and flame appeared above it. He chirped. Felix narrowed his eyes. He charged and whilst Viren was distracted by his best friends, he threw the fireball right at the side of his face.

"Ahh!" he cried.

Raylan saw that the fox had given him a chance and leapt at him. He was pinned to the floor, his swords over his neck but the purple caterpillar snaked onto his arms and tied its serpentine body around his neck, squeezing tight.

"Moonray!" cried Carol. Viren got back up and she swiped wind at him but he counter-attacked. She tried to get to the caterpillar strangling Raylan but Viren's attacks forced her back and she had to defend Zym.

Raylan struggled to pull the caterpillar off him. He managed to suck in a gulp of air and grabbed the head of it but he suddenly bit his neck causing him to cry out in pain. Carol heard him cry out but was too overwhelmed by Viren's attacks to help him. Mastering the pain, Raylan finally pulled the caterpillar off him, threw it against the wall, and leapt on Viren using his body to make him flip over to the floor. Carol cried out: "Aspiro Frigis!". Viren was frozen in his ice, with only his head and hand holding the staff sticking out. Raylan snatched the staff and they stood back. "Now it's over!" he declared.

"Hate to break it to you both but it ain't!" mocked a voice. They turned around and saw Telmar and dozens of cult members surrounding them. Viren glared at Telmar who glared back at him remembering his treachery all those years ago. "We'll deal with you later, traitor,"

Carol growled in anger. How many were there? "Doesn't your cult ever give up?"

"Don't you two?" mocked Telmar. He drew out his primal stone. The teens stood again with Raylan strapping the dark staff behind him. He was not going to let the Cult of Aaravos get their hands on it.

"Get them!" he shouted.

Carol drew 'Fulminus' and pierced her spear into the floor again knocking them all back by the lightning.

"Creatura Lentas!" Telmar trapped her feet in the dirt but Raylan managed to leap into action and knocked Telmar back. He kept dodging her. The other mages got back up and tried to kidnap Carol but she blew 'Aspiro' around them. Outraged at seeing their person being attacked, Felix and Zym activated their powers and fired lightning and fire at them from their mouth or tails. Though they were little, they were fierce and protective.

She managed to crawl her way out and saw Raylan getting overpowered by Telmar's magic. The earth mage knocked him down and the staff rolled away too. The caterpillar saw it. Quickly Carol blew 'Aspiro' and Telmar was knocked back and his Primal stone rolled away. Then she blew 'Aspiro' again and blew around in a round circle, knocking every last remaining member of the Cult of Aaravos back.

Telmar tried to get up but was pinned down by Raylan and held at sword point. "It's over. You're done for. Your brothers are done for,"

Telmar cackled. "You really think this is over?" Carol approached him too with the growling Zym and Felix. "There are still many of us out there. And we will not wait until our goal is complete. No matter how hard you both try, you can never run from him,"

Before any more questions could be asked, there was a loud 'boom'. Carol pushed Raylan out of the way as Viren broke free from the ice; the caterpillar had brought back his staff. The force of the blast blew Telmar through the archway and over the edge of the cliff outside. The teens heard his screams but they were more frightened of Viren, more bloodthirsty than ever. Bait jumped into action and tried to blind him but he was knocked to the side. The Adoraburrs hid behind him; frightened.

"Carol! Take Zym and get out of here!" screamed Raylan. He leapt at Viren and tried to pin him down.

"I won't leave you!" she begged.

"Go!" he begged. Viren shot at them. Felix growled and tried to charge and him but Viren struck him. "Filthy hound," he telekinetically threw out through the doorway and off the edge of the cliffs.

"No!" cried Carol, sprinting outside. She tried to catch him with her magic but he plunged into the clouds below. She was struck with horror.

The grief-stricken Raylan roared and launched his body right on Viren. "Run! Fly!" he screamed.

Shedding tears of anger, Carol grabbed Zym and jogged off the pinnacle, knowing she had to try and fly to get him to safety. Raylan nearly killed Viren but the caterpillar jumped on its face and bit his neck again and Viren threw him back, bruising him badly. He stood up. "I'll deal with you later,". He marched outside.

Soren, Willow, and Ezran flew up on Pyrrah, desperate to reach Carol, Raylan and Zym when all of a sudden, they saw Felix falling through the air. "Felix!" cried Willow in horror. The dragon soared upwards.

That was when Soren got an idea. "When I saw so, flip me upwards!" he ordered the dragon. He crawled to the end of her tail and clung on tightly. "Now!"

Pyrrah flipped her tail, catapulting him through the air and he caught Felix in mid-air. He landed with a thud on the stone steps, clutching the shield firefox to his chest. "It's okay," he groaned painfully. "It's okay,"

"Good catch Soren!" cheered Willow.

"You go!" he called up. "Get to Raylan and Carol!"

Ezran and Willow compelled Pyrrah to fly further up when all of a sudden, the powerless Telmar leapt from another section of staircases which he had landed on with a 'thud'and pulled on the dragon's wing, causing it to go spiralling downwards. The children screaming, clinging on tighter.

"No!" cried Soren in horror.

On the pinnacle, Carol tried again and again to turn her arms into wings but nothing happened. He suddenly heard the metal banging of Viren's staff. "You have to fly Zym!" she begged.

I won't leave you. Begged the baby dragon.

"Don't worry about me. Save yourself!" she begged.

"Give me the baby dragon!" bellowed the dark mage closing in on them.

"Go," she begged in tears.

Zym was launched into the air and he flapped his wings to fly away. She grabbed her spear but when she spun around, she was disarmed and knocked to the ground. "You're too late, Viren. You failed," she spat.

"You shouldn't have said that," Viren made his staff glow.

Raylan pushed himself up slowly but the screams of his girlfriend resonated through his ears. He screamed out "No!" and grabbed his weapons, his love for her powering him every step he took to reach her.

Zym turned around and saw Viren sucking magical energy from Carol, the magical energy from the Sky Arcanum she had formed a connection to. He roared and flew back. He wouldn't lose his human mother but Viren raised his hand up at him.

Raylan flew up the steps and gasped seeing Carol and Zym in so much pain as Zym was absorbing magical energy from both of them into his body. "Yes!" he cackled arrogantly. "I can feel the power!"

"No!" the elf threw one blade but a spectral figure of a space-like elf appeared and knocked it away. He tried to stab at him but he was knocked back again. He struggled to think of a way to save both Carol and Zym but then he saw the edge of the platform. He narrowed his eyes. There was no other way. "For you mum and dad," he swore. "For you Carol," he sprinted and before Viren could react, he rammed his body into his knocking him and his purple caterpillar off the cliff of the pinnacle. They plunged to their certain deaths.

Carol and Zym collapsed, gasping for air but when she leaned over she saw her boyfriend falling far, far down with Viren. "No! No! Raylan!". Tears spilt from her eyes. Zym gasped. She curled her fingers into a ball, her shock turned to rage.

No. Zym begged in tears.

"If I don't make it, tell Ezran and Willow I love them,". And she jumped.

Carol. Roared Zym but he watched with tears as she dived through the clouds after Raylan and Viren.

Carol wasn't afraid of gravity. As she soared head-first, she saw Viren and his creepy caterpillar falling further and further than Raylan. Feeling the wind through her hair, she cried out: "Manus Pluma Vilantis!" But nothing happened. "Please work. Please work. Manus Pluma Vilantis!"

As he fell through the air, giving his life as his parents did, Raylan's eyes saw Caroline diving towards him. He reached his hand up.

She saw him far below. "Raylan, I love you," she muttered. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "Manus. Pluma," she said slowly. "Vilantis," her arms featured feathers and her mage wings hoisted her into the air stopping her fall. She dived down folding her wings like a falcon doing a falcon dive.

Raylan saw her reaching him and in seconds…swoop! With his hands around her neck, her wings carried them into the sky. Viren's screaming faded as the clouds consumed him and his familiar. He was no more now. The couple flew through the hair, their hearts filled with joy as they had finally won. Raylan gazed into her beautiful eyes. "Carol. But how did you…"

"Because I love you Raylan," she expressed in tears. "I really do,"

He smiled. "I love you too Carol," he leaned forward and kissed her to his heart's content and her wings carried them high up into the clouds.

Pyrrah tried to shake Telmar off her wing but his weight pulled her down, down, down with the children still clinging onto him. He tried to lasso her neck with some chains but she kept fliping around, trying to yank him off but he kept a firm grip.

Looking upwards the worried adults saw them hurtling from the sky. Ethari pulled out an arrow. The uncertain Amaya tried to stop him but Caldor shook his head, trusting the elf to make the shot. Ethari saw his chance and whoosh!

Telmar was stuck in the back and his hand slipped from Pyrrah's wing. The children closed their eyes not wanting to see him crash on the ground. They heard his screams but then once they stopped abruptly. They opened their eyes and they saw his dead body face-first on the rocks.

Carol and Raylan landed outside the entrance again, hugging each other deeply, crying emotionally. They had come so close to losing one another but their enemies were defeated and Viren was done for. Zym bounded down the stairs and when he saw them, he chirped for joy and they embraced him together, his surrogate parents.

"Oh Moonray, your neck," Carol touched bite-marks gently.

He rubbed her hand, feeling warmth flowing from her skin. "It's alright. They'll heal,"

"I can't believe you did that up there,"

"Of course, I did. I swore to your father and I was willing to give my life for you like that. It's my job to protect you,"

"You don't protect me Raylan. We protect each other. That's how it works. It's the only way we'll never lose each other. Two for one," Her soul-steering completions eyes made Raylan remember how they had fought together to protect one another, how they were wiling to give their lives for one another. "It's what makes us. Deal?" she offered a hand.

Smiling tearfully, his answer was "Deal," and with a simple pull, he pulled her into another romantic kiss, their arms wrapped around one another, whilst Zym awkwardly closed his eyes. They pulled apart smiling at each other. The sound of gasps filled the air. They turned their heads left to see Ethari smiling but Soren, Ezran and Willow's faces staring wide-mouthed at them. Amaya simply smiled with arms crossed. Janai looked amused. Others: Gren, Caldor, Opeli and Aanya were amazed.

"This…" Willow drifts off, her brother saying the next word.

"Changes…"

"Everything," they both said together.

"So back up there when I interrupted you two…" Soren's eyes enlarged and so did his mouth. "Oo this is too juicy!"

The awkward couple suddenly heard 'barking' and they saw Soren lift Felix, alive and well. He leapt out of his saviour's arms into her own and she hugged him tightly, kissing him deeply, crying loudly. "I thought I lost you, buddy,"

Felix licked her face and she giggled for joy. "Good to see you back buddy," Raylan stroked his head and Felix jumped into his arms and licked his face much to his embarrassment.

Carol knelt on the ground and her elated siblings flew into her open arms. Raylan joined the group hug and the siblings expressed how deeply happy they were that he was in a relationship with their sister.

"Just don't break her heart," Willow warned. They laughed and Felix gave him the firm playful glare to heighten the humour.

"An elf and a human. Who would have thought?" Gren asked Amaya. Amaya was deeply overjoyed for her niece. But one thing was for certain, she was going to talk with Raylan later. And by the look on Opeli's face, she wanted to as well.

"Thank goodness you came here just in time," Carol said to her brother and Queen Aanya.

As the queen approached her, she hugged her too. "I am so happy to see you, Carol,"

"It's so good to see you too Aanya,"

"Ethari!" Raylan rushed into his arms.

Ethari held him tightly. "I am so proud of you. If only our family were here to say that to you too,". As he led go, he gasped when he saw the glowing purple bite marks on his neck. "You're hurt,"

Raylan cringed as it stung and quickly pressed his hand against it. "I'm alright," he assured.

"Aunt Amaya," Carol embraced her aunt and then she hugged Caldor. Then they pulled Ezran and Willow into the big family hug. Both the youngest members offered hands and to their elation, Ethari and Raylan were pulled into the cuddle-party as well.

Night fell and Pyrrah and the Sky Patrol stood guard outside. As many allies, both elves and humans stood side by side, they bowed to Ezran and his sisters as they made their way to the archway. Raylan joined them and they were joined by their loving companions.

"I just can't believe it. Everything we've been through together. Travelling across the world, coming here to Xadia...we did it!" cheered Ezran.

"We made a difference," smiled Raylan.

"All of us," Carol addressed the room.

"And we've fulfilled Dad's wish of bringing peace to our world," Willow said, sniffling a bit. "I wish he could have been here to see it. And mum too,"

"They are always with us," said their big sister. "Even if doesn't seem like it,"

A loud rumble suddenly shook the caves and Zym dashed into the queen's chambers, barking and yelping with excitement. The team followed behind him. And so did Amaya, Janai, Caldor, Warveth, Corvus, Opeli, Barius, Soren, Queen Aanya, Ibis, Yonas and Caelus. They watched intensely as they saw the Queen's eyes slowly opening and her legs pushing her storm-coloured body off the ground. She stood tall and strong over them and the moment her eyes were laid on Zym, she felt her heart lift in joy. Her baby yiped with joy and flew towards her, standing on his little nest. Tears left her eyes as she bowed her head and nuzzled her son. The children shed tears and so did Felix and Bait.

Queen Zubeia glanced again at the audience who watched their tearful reunion. "Is this…a dream?" she breathed. The unity of elves and humans approached her. Raylan and Carol held hands, smiling at one another. Amaya playfully nudged Janai and they held hands too sharing smiles. They were no longer at war with one other. The queen gasped. "I can't believe it. Elves and humans are here...and they've brought back my baby, my love, and my hope," her emotional voice made the entire atmosphere glisten with happiness. The war was over. It was now the dawn of a new age where there would be no war, no hatred, no conflict. It was time to start an era. Because they were not too different worlds. They were two lands of one world. And the lands were now reunited once more.

The night passed slowly. And Zym spent every second he could, nestled in his mother's tail. Ezran and Willow were tucked close together. Raylan and Carol were snuggled up together with Felix curled beside them and the Adoraburrs under his tail. But Raylan was tossing and turning in his sleep.

An elf warrior was walking through the forest, his purple bite mark poisoning his blood with darkness. He was holding out his butterfly blades as he made his way towards a young girl. She turned around…slice. Blood.

"No!" Raylan woke up, gasping. Everything was silent around him. Everyone was sleeping. He growled in pain, his purple bite marks was stinging terribly and it seemed to be getting worse every second.

"Ray?" a hand touched his shoulder and he jumped, nearly crying out loud. "It's okay," she soothed. "It's okay. Are you alright?"

"Yes. I'm fine. Just a bad dream," Raylan lay back down, hiding his purple bite marks. She lay on her side next to him. "What?"

"You know you can always tell me anything,"

"I know. And you know I'd do anything for you,"

Exchanging romantic smiles, they kissed one another passionately and went back to sleep but as Carol slept peacefully, Raylan's fingers found their way back to his bite marks.

More Skywing and Sunfire Elves arrived the next day to tend to the wounded. Warveth did his best to help them too. Not far from the Storm Spire was the camp of the Sunfire Elf people whom Karim had watched over. They had to leave the lands of Lux Area until it was safe to inhabit them again. The team and the group walked past the tents, helping everyone the best they could. Amaya comforted Janai as she mourned for how they had lost so much. Carol walked over to her. "I am so sorry for your home Janai,"

"Thank you, princess," she accepted the comfort. Her eyes dropped when Felix came over to Carol's feet, nuzzling her legs, purring sadly seeing all this pain. The moment the golden knight saw them, she gasped. "Is this your Sunfire fox?"

"It is," Carol held him up. "His name's Felix,". She furrowed her eyes when she saw a blank look on her face.

"Can it be…" Janai breathed. "If you please, I need to take him to see some other ones,"

"You have Sunfire foxes?" she asked.

"Yes,"

"Only if I can come,"

"Of course," Janai led her towards a large tent and inside the pair were touched when they saw the Sunfire Fox mother and her two children lying on some pillows.

"They are so cute," she said. "Want to go and say hello, buddy?"

She placed him down but the fox wouldn't move. Rakasa stood up, sniffing deeply. He felt nervous but she saw his ears flicker. He recognised her. The two adults and teen glanced carefully. Felix walked forward slowly, sniffing her too. He purred.

You look so much like my youngest son. She said.

You look like someone who I haven't seen since I was a cub.

Can it be..? Rakasa sniffled deeply and she barked.

Carol was drawn to happy tears. "It's your family!"

Felix jumped for joy and he nuzzled his mother who licked him with so much love. He then licked his other siblings who were delighted to be reunited with their brother. The females watched them curl together in a big cuddle group. The teen mage was so happy for him. "But how…".

"Many years ago, creatures began disappearing around Xadia," Janai explained. "I took it upon myself to protect them. Especially those connected to the Sun. I saved this mother and her cubs. One of them had been taken away,"

"He must have been taken to the human kingdoms. And then he escaped and I found him. But he looked like a normal fox when we met,"

"Oh my," breathed Janai. "Whoever did this was trying to absorb their powers,"

"Well, it seems being in contact with fire activated them," said Carol. She smiled tearfully.

I'm so happy to see you, my son. Purred Rakasa.

I need you to meet someone. Felix pondered over to Carol, gesturing his face to them. She walked forward and knelt in front of them. This is Carol She found me and took care of me for years. Her father named me Felix.

Rakasa sniffed her and purred affectionally earning a warm stroke from the girl who had taken care of her son for years. Thank you. Thank you so much for taking care of my son.

"I'm so happy to see Felix reunited again with you and your family,"

Janai smiled. "Why don't we leave them to have some time alone?"

"Of course," Carol agreed that Felix needed some alone time. She tried to leave but he pulled on her dress. "Don't worry buddy. I'll be outside. Okay?"

Thank you. He purred and she kissed his head. They walked outside and joined Raylan, Soren and the siblings.

"Tell us everything," Willow requested to the two.

"Tell what?" they asked together.

"How long this…that you two…you know,".

The pair saw their eager faces and Amaya gave a straight look.

"Okay. We'll tell you," Carol gave in, unable to resist the goofy eyes of her siblings.

"And don't leave out a thing," Caldor was so happy for them. And so they began. They sat on pillows and told them everything. Raylan feeling guilty at the Moonshadow Trial. Carol giving him a surprise kiss. The two acknowledging their feelings for one another.

"Wow. Just wow," Soren said, having enjoyed the story. "I knew you two were close but I never realised you were gonna be so close to being this cute,". He giggled and Raylan cleared his throat to get him to stop.

You and I have going to have the talk. Amaya said to Raylan, Gren translating for her.

"Seems fair," he accepted.

Janai glimpsed again at all her people, her brother looking so hurt. "I don't know what my people are to do now. Our city is infested with dark magic. We have no home anymore,"

"Katolis will help you," King Ezran degreed. "We'll all help you. I am forever in your debt for aiding my sisters and I know what it feels like you've lost so much,"

"Thank King Ezran," Janai bowed. "Your nephew will be a great king," she said to Amaya who eyed him proudly.

"And I promise I will work hard to ensure the Human Kingdoms respect all Xadians and never engage in any forms of dark magic as well," Ezran said. "I know Queen Aanya and General Grark will work hard to ensure that peace is made and there is no conflict again between any of our races,"

"The name cannot be said for the Moonshadow Elves," Ethari said grimly. "Lord Moono did not believe in the peace despite Raylan and Carol's alliance. And because of my betrayal, none of our people will see reason,"

"You and Raylan can stay in Katolis until the danger passes," offered Ezran.

"That is kind of Ezran but I cannot accept," Ethari shook his head gravely. "For personal reasons, it would be too painful,". Raylan and Carol eyed each other knowingly; to be in the place where his husband went would break his heart and mentally hurt him.

"Then where will you go?" asked Willow worriedly.

"The Moon Nexus," Carol suggested. "That's in Katolis. It'll be safe for you and we can come and visit you. It's protected by an illusionist called Lujanne. She'll grant you sanctuary,". She said.

"If that is the safest option, then I will do that," said Ethari.

"The Moonshadow Elves will see reason one day. And Lord Moono will answer for what he tried to do to Zym," Raylan swore.

When night came, a celebration was held and the humans and elves were so overjoyed singing and dancing together. The queen joined them, towering over everyone. Felix's family were introduced to Bait, Zym, Pyrrah and the Adoraburrs and they played around for fun. Even Ezran and Willow loved Felix's family too.

As everyone danced around the fire, amusing all their dragon friends with the Skywing family performing a unique flight show, Ibis and Yonas, all bandaged up, approached the team who were standing with Amaya, Janai, Opeli, Queen Aanya, Grark, Caldor and Corvus. "Carol…" spoke Ibis. "What you performed in that battle was pure talent. Thorten has insisted I'd enrol you into the Academy if you would be interested?"

She felt her heart flying up out of her chest. "Really?"

"What do you say?" Yonas encouraged.

Carol's loved ones praised her. "You've got to do it," encouraged Willow. "The school will be perfect for you,"

"I don't know what to say," she looked like she was gonna faint at any moment. "I would love to. Thank you Ibis,"

"Classes start in four weeks' time. I look forward to having you in my class,"

Raylan spun her around whilst everybody around her clapped and congratulated her.

"Congratulations Princess Caroline," said Queen Aanya giving her a high-five.

"I'm so proud of you babe," Raylan looked like he was ready to give her another kiss when Gren coughed his throat for Amaya.

Keep the kissing to a minimum. She warned. Janai and the kids laughed and the couple rolled their eyes. They were not going to enjoy their constant teasing; this was what they were afraid would happen. The chuckling was interrupted by the presence of Caelus walking towards them. He didn't look happy.

"King Ezran, our elves and scouts have searched everywhere but there is no sign of either Lord Viren, Claudia or Castor and his dragon,"

"There's no way Viren or Castor and his dragon could have survived their falls," Willow said.

"You haven't seen anything?" asked her brother.

"No. I would know if they were still alive,"

"We still have to search for them," said Raylan. "And even with many of the mages dead, we still don't know how many members of the Cult of Aaravos are hiding out there,"

"And if Claudia's out there, that's still trouble for everyone," said Carol grimly.

At the mention of his sister, Soren walked away solemnly, Caldor followed after him out of the camp. He offered a drink and he took it gratefully.

"I'm sorry for how difficult things were today for you," he said.

"You don't have to be. He became a bad guy. I just couldn't become like him,"

"What's really on your mind?"

"When I killed that illusion, I really thought that I…" he looked like he was going to be sick. "I just…I couldn't let him if it was the real him, kill Willow. How could I let my father do that?". Caldor did all he could to comfort him but it seemed useless.

"Everything okay?" Carol asked, coming to them with Raylan.

"I'm fine," Soren lied.

"How are you doing, Caldor?" asked Raylan, knowing today was just as hard it was for him as it was for Soren, facing the people he had betrayed as well.

"If anything, I feel glad. All these years I was running from my past but facing them today, it felt as if I'm waking up from a long nightmare. I know those mages were doing awful things but…"

"They were still your brothers," Carol said, sympathising with him. "You're not responsible for their choices. And you are not them. Caldor, I need to ask you something,"

"Please,"

"Do you have any reason why that cult wanted to capture me?"

He sighed, closing his eyes. "I can't tell you. Because I don't know. I wish I could tell you, Carol. There is so much I wish I could say. But what's important is you're all safe,". And he was right. They were all safe.

"Mind if I talk to you alone Soren?" asked Carol. He nodded and they walked away. "I wanted to say: 'Thank you' for saving Felix,"

"Can't take all the credit. Pyrrah catapulted me into the air,"

"I also wanted to say that I'm sorry,"

"What for?"

"That you didn't have a family like me,"

He sighed. "I really thought after we won that battle, Claudia would have listened to reason. But perhaps if I had been a better brother, if I just seen sooner what kind of man Viren really was she wouldn't have become just like him,"

"You're not to blame. She made her own choices and you didn't make them for her,"

He felt a bit better at her words. "Can we be friends again? I know how much Claudia's betrayal has affected you as well and I want to make it up to you,

"You've already started to. And I think it's time you took your rightful place as a Crownguard. You saved my brother and sister and I know you'll protect my father,"

"That means a lot coming from you, step-princess,"

"What did I say?"

"I'm just joking," he chuckled nervously.

"Oh ha," she playfully punched him and they both laughed before rejoining the party.

Ethari and Raylan drank together watching the celebrations unfold. The boy saw a mother and her son and wiped his eyes. "Mum and Dad should be here. And Runaan too,".

"They should,"

"I worry about Carol's promise to us. She hasn't been able to tell her siblings yet. And I don't know how to do that either without making them feel betrayed,"

"I'm sure they could never feel betrayed. It is more Katolis I worry about. But I trust Caldor to listen and see reason,"

"I'm sure he does,"

"Hey guys!" Carol re-joined them with Soren.

"You behaved very admirably on the battlefield today," Raylan complimented Soren. "You're a good man. Far better than your father,"

"That means a lot coming from you, Raylan. And on behalf of his heinous actions, I would like to apologise for the lives of the assassins who came to Katolis. Including your leader," he apologised wholeheartedly.

"Thank you," said Raylan, warmed by his sincere apology. "What's past is past and what's important is we all move forward to the future. For now, let's join in with the celebrations,". Nodding all together, they joined in with everyone as they began singing and dancing. The kids pulled the couple into a group dance and everyone body watched them, recognising them as the team that had begun this unity together. Zym and Felix danced around their feet in circles and Bait lit up in multiple colours like a rainbow. Then when the music played, Ezran and Willow parted from Carol and Raylan leaving them standing awkwardly in front of an audience. They didn't know what to do at all.

Dance. Zym encouraged in Carol's mind. Just dance.

Linking hands they spun around in circles, doing claps and swerving moves around one another which everyone was impressed by. Raylan hoisted her up by her waist into the air and spun around, looking only at her, their loved ones touched by their love for one another. As she was lowered down, they shared a warm hug in front of everyone, heightening their claps and cheers for they were an example of where true strength lied. Love. The Dragon Queen roared with approval seeing such passion blossoming between an elf and a human. Who would have thought?

Aseerais, a Archdragon of cosmic purples and white stars, lay on his fours uttering a poetic prophecy to his wards.

Blessed by the horn.

To the young human born.

To wield the magic of six.

To save the world she'll fix.

Born of the moon.

Trained a warrior too soon.

A darkness will grow.

But his heart of love will show.

"It will be your duty, Murtagh, to guide the girl when she is in need. But if she learns what she must do, she will fail. And with the boy's life in jeopardy, he must be strong for her and himself,"

Murtagh and his red dragon Thorn bowed before a great mighty purple dragon of many stars. "I don't know if I am the right man for this Aseerais," the Dragon Rider spoke with weak confidence.

"You said you wanted to redeem yourself for what that cruel king had forced you to. This is what I grant you. The world will be in peril if those two do not protect it,"

Thorn nudged his rider. You must learn to forgive yourself. He implored. If this Star Archdragon trusts you to carry out this task, you must also trust yourself.

The conflicted young man raised his head and bowed humbly. "I take this duty on board great dragon. I do not know how to thank you for allowing me and dragon to be taken under your care and protection but if this is how we will repay then we will do it,"

The dragon smiled and bowed humbly.

And that's it. Book One is complete. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are complete. I will not make a start on the next book until Book 6 is out and some time has passed so I can do some planning for Book Two. Also I have other stories I'd like to complete for everyone else as well if that's alright. What did you all think of the battle? And the fact that it was Viren who had orchestrated Carol's attempted kidnapping when she was a child? And here is Murtagh, Thorn and the OC star Arch-dragon as you all insisted. I look forward to using the ideas you all have sent for the next book. Thank you all so much for your reviews and please don't stop sending them. One thing I would love to request is for the new appearances of some of the characters and OC characters if you'd like please. I'm happy you all have enjoyed this story as much as I have enjoyed writing it. And once again, I'd like to give credit to everyone who suggested some of the chapters, songs, and OC characters for this story and future stories. Until then, please keep in touch everyone and always keep sending any new ideas that come to mind. Love you guys and thank you for everything.
