Gohan Black (*Oneshot*)
Trunks fled in terror.
The havoc wrecked by the imposter was almost impossible to stop, and he was just too strong for Trunks to stop.
They had been an even match at first - Trunks, with the training he had received from the Supreme Kai and the power he had gained through the whole ordeal with Bibidi and Dabura.
But the Gohan imposter - the one that had taken on his mentor's form, though weaker than Trunks at first, soon quickly began to gain in strength - with energy and ki beyond even what Trunks could sense.
And even though the imposter could only access the first Super Saiyan form, even with only that much, he had quickly become able to overpower even Trunk's second Super Saiyan form.
Trunks could grit his teeth in frustration.
It was his fault. If only he could have finished off the imposter during their very first bout.
When he had first appeared, Trunks was very surprised, then happy, to learn that the Gohan of his time had survived. Though naturally, he had many questions. The the people he had saved before, from the androids, were likewise happy to see him as well.
But that soon changed to shock, as the new Gohan began slaughtering the people he had worked so hard to save.
"What are you doing, Gohan-san?!"
Gohan looked back at him.
"Ho, so you knew this body's previous owner, did you?"
That was their first encounter.
Trunks was shocked, and that shock then turned to outrage. But even then, he was at least sharp to catch onto to the fact that somebody was using Gohan's body, or at least, his appearance and abilities to wreak havoc all over the planet, just as the androids once had.
To say that Trunks was angry at that time would've been an understatement.
Trunks was furious!
And at that time, had quickly overpowered the imposter.
"How dare you! How dare you use Gohan-san's body for something like thiiissssss!"
But, at the last moment, he hesitated.
His fist had just barely stopped short of crushing Gohan's skull. But that was enough. The Gohan imposture had smirked at the opportunity. It took only that instance, that one instance, for the new Gohan, for the Gohan dressed all in Black, to turn the tables around.
Trunks could do nothing but curse himself as Gohan Black knocked him away and fled with what looked to be like a different Universe's Supreme Kai in hand.
And the next time he returned, he returned even stronger. Enough to be able to match Trunk's strongest form. For a little while, Trunks still had the upper hand. But, the interference of the mysterious green-skinned Supreme Kai right before Trunks was about to finish him off again allowed the two the opportunity to escape and recover.
And the third time he came for Trunks, Trunks stood no chance.
Now, Trunk's only hope was once again the time machine.
He had to go back to the past, to find some way, some means, of getting help back to the future.
He didn't know what going back to the past would entail - it might lead to threats even worse than Gohan Black, just as it had with Cell and the Androids.
(Though Cell, as he had later learned, still existed within his own timeline - just in hiding with the disappearance of Androids 17 and 18.)
But it would be better than doing nothing, and leaving his own timeline to rot! And, with Goku (and Gohan)'s help, surely there was no challenge they couldn't overcome together. Or at least, so Trunks hoped. And once Trunks returned, hopefully he would be strong enough to overcome this false Gohan, just as he was with the androids.
Pining his last hopes on the other timeline, Trunks could only pray, as he activated the device.
Later...
Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta from the past timeline had all come to help, but even then, the imposter, Gohan Black, still managed to keep up.
Gohan black laughed mirthfully, as he continued to increase in power.
"Ah, I see...!" Gohan Black reveled in his newfound power, in his newfound form, "So this is the true power of a God, the form of a Super Saiyan combined with a God's Ki!"
Gohan Black smirked. "Yes, I quite like this!" He said, his aura glowing silver. "This form is certainly quite fitting for me! I think I shall call it...Super Saiyan Platina!"

Being Trunks sure sucks, huh? First the androids, and then Zamasu lol.
So, the idea for this came to me when I realized that Zamasu also could've stolen Gohan's body, and how much a personal insult it would be to Trunks lol.
I mean, Trunks knows about Goku, but he doesn't have much of a personal connection him. Gohan, on the other hand...
Anyways, some people say the Zamasu timeline is too convoluted, but it's pretty simple.
Goku Black is from Super's time if Trunks never travelled back to Super's timeline (Post-Cell Games). He should've been erased when Beerus erased Zamasu, but he was protected from causality the time ring. Future Zamasu is from Future Zamasu's timeline.
The reason he has Future Gohan's body here is just because the normal Zamasu did some scouting in Future's Trunks timeline first, and found the irony of using the mortal world's hero's body to exterminate it and drive them to despair to be delicious.
