"My child, where are you...?"

A gentle female voice can be heard outside my hiding spot, which is a box while the sounds of the drawers being opened and closed, books and documents being moved and more unrecognizable sounds as she tried to find me. But you might be wondering,why do I hide when I can run away from her? Well, how can I ran away from her if I'm basically so small that I can fit onto her hand perfectly?

As I'm continued to hide from her, I felt shivers down my spine scared about what is going to happen if she found me here.Is she going to placed me inside a cage? Is she going to make me as a slave or something? While I was wondering, the box I'm in suddenly moved upwards like it was being lifted by someone, possibly by her and her voice can be heard. "My child might be in here.I wonder what should I do to him...". As soon as she said that, my consciousness starts to fade away due to my nervous feeling bottled up just as the box lid starts to open revealing a face with a long hair that covers one side of her pair of yellow coloured eyes and a pair of horns in red.

Friedreich's suspicion were right. As she open the lid of the box, a small figure in a white naval uniform can be seen unconscious in the box beside the pile of old documents. A massive grin formed on her mouth feeling very happy and joyful as she picked up the unconscious commander out from the inside of the box. "So cute and adorable..." She said while squishing both of Commander's cheeks gently.While she was admiring her small commander and think about what to do to him, the office door suddenly opened revealing a woman with purple hair and wearing a very revealing purple kimono. However, she also has a pair of fox ears and nine fox tails on her backside.It was Musashi.

"Friedrich, would you mind if you hand over the commander to me?" Musashi asked politely and extends her hand to claim the commander from Friedreich's. Friedrich turns around and looks at Musashi before hands over the commander to her. Musashi took a moment and inspect the tiny commander to see if he had any injuries on his body. She was very relieved after found out there is no injuries on the commander's body. She then placed him underneath her kimono.

"Friedrich, I don't mind if you want some cuddle time with the commander, but do mind that doing it in the open makes it possible for the others to found out about the current state of him". She said while looking at Friedrich with a stern look at her face."But why? isn't it good to have more caretakers instead of you and me?" Friedrich responded after she takes a seat on the commander's chair. "I know that, but you need to imagine how much mess might be happen if everyone knows about the current state of the commander."

Friedrich takes a moment to think about what Musashi said before interrupted by Musashi taking a leave."Musashi, can I ask you why you don't wear your usual outfit? It is rare to see a big figure of the Sakura empire wearing nothing more but a plain purple kimono". Friedrich asked Musashi. "Oh,so you realized? I was not in the mood for something fancy today. Besides, there's no important events happening right now." Musashi said and turns the door knob opening the door and closing it right after leaving Friedrich alone in the office.

Silence surrounds the room for a while before Friedrich chuckles and says "don't worry Musashi, the secret about the commander is going to be safe with me." She said while looking at the pile of documents that is on the commander's desk.

The Sakura empire dormitory is unusually empty especially when it was a middle of the day. One of the reasons why is either going for a sortie or commissions or just resting in their rooms. Musashi walked into her room while taking a look underneath her kimono to see how the commander is doing once in a while. She doesn't mind her tiny commander cuddling her bosom considering the fact that she commonly being used as a pillow by the Mutsuki-class destroyers everytime she meet them. After walking along the hallway for awhile, she arrived at her room and push the sliding door open slightly revealing her sister, Shinano sleeping in the middle of the room. Suddenly, Shinano's eyelids opens a little and looks to her sister.

"Oh, you're back. Does the little one's alright?" Shinano asked her sister with sleepy voice considering she just awake from her sleep.

"You probably know about it, right?"Musashi said while taking the commander out from her kimono laying his body onto her palm of her hand and starts rubbing his back with her thumb.

Shinano smiled a little."Friedrich doesn't have any bad intention towards the little one. She just like you, considers the commander as her child."

"I know,I know. But the commander does not trust her fully. Maybe because of the incident when he first meet her." Musashi said.

"She was in a bad mood at the time, that's all." Shinano said while looking at the tiny commander. "By the way, any progress on the antidote?".

"Akashi said that the development of the antidote has not started yet ,she just saying things like the commander's condition is different than the other cases and it was the first case and many more." Musashi said with a frown.

"Its okay, there might be a reason behind all of this."Shinano said to her sister."But when I think about the little one,he just might be the unluckiest person in the world."Shinano continues while looking at her sister placing the tiny commander into her one of her tails and smile looking at her tiny commander covered in her sister's tails.

"Or the luckiest one." Musashi said with a slight smile on her face.

Also, if you wondering why this chapter feels misleading, It is because I want to introduce the characters in this fic and what happened before he gets small will be told in the next chapter. So stay tuned.
