Hello my dear readers, you may be wondering what this is about. Firstly, I want to thank you for all the support you have given me over the years. I have let you down many times and partly it's because sometimes I lose inspiration when writing. However, a few weeks ago, I reread the fic that I consider my favorite, as it was one of my first inspirations for writing fics 7 years ago. I enjoyed reading it so much that I came up with this project.
This project is called "The Aura is with the Forgotten - The Seed of Destruction". I'm not sure if some of you know this, but this story is a continuation of a fic that is not mine. It was written by Gerbliwth, a user from Switzerland who had the great idea of writing "The Aura is with the Forgotten", a fic set in medieval times. Ash, being the son of the legendary knight Sir Aaron, had to fight against the ruthless world around him and after a long, tragic but incredible adventure, he found his way. Unfortunately, the author left the platform several years ago and this was his last fic. Therefore, if you can read English, I highly recommend it.
Well, this story would be a direct continuation of what happened in that fic, using all the points and characters from the original fic, as well as its style and seriousness. The original included graphic and dark content such as character deaths, but with a new story and some new characters. It won't be completely necessary to read the entire original fic, but I do recommend it so that you can fully understand the background of Ash.
I'm really excited about this project, and I know that some of you may not like the idea that this fic is based on another author's work. I've tried to contact Gerbliwth, but he left the platform a long time ago, so I don't think he'll respond. Of course, if you don't like the idea, you can let me know.
The aura is with the forgotten. - The seed of destruction"
The world of Pokémon was created by the "Original," who hatched from an egg that originated in the void of space where nothing existed. The "Original," also known as Arceus by the ancients, decided to shape the universe around it to make it perfect. Thus, it created three creatures that would control space, time, and the world of antimatter. These creatures, in turn, created different worlds and realities where life could flourish and maintain the balance of their father's universe.
The Original then chose one of the worlds to be the cradle of its creation, Earth, and thus decided to create two other beings: the Pokémon Mew, who would be the ancestor of all other Pokémon, and a human, who was the first of a different race that would prosper in the world it had created.
After creating both beings, the Original saw that its task was complete and decided to enter a long slumber, far away from its universe and would not be awakened until the balance of its world was affected.
Time passed, and its creations spread life in the world, whether on land, in the oceans, or in the skies, causing catastrophic changes that changed the world forever. However, the world maintained a balance between Pokémon and humans, although this balance could be broken at any time since both races had constant conflicts, even among themselves.
From these conflicts, certain beings appeared who would be called "legends," either for their immense power or for the actions they had on the fragile balance.
However, there were certain humans and Pokémon who stood out from the rest since they were connected to a much more powerful power than that of the legends themselves, a hidden power that was given to them by the "Original," that power was the aura.
The aura was present in all living beings, whether human or Pokémon, but only a very few could interact with that energy and could use it at their will.
Over time, these individuals came out of the shadows and created an order whose mission was to protect the order of the world, peace between humans and Pokémon, and to end any oppression and the ear of the world. This order would be known as the Aura Guardians.
This order recruited those who had a connection with the aura and were willing to learn the path of justice, passing on their experiences and teachings to another apprentice. The relationship between Aura Guardians and Pokémon was one of the strongest of all, so much so that Pokémon preferred to end their lives if their master fell in battle.
However, that power had hidden dangers. The power was so intense that many fell into selfish ideas and desires, wanting to control instead of serving. Thus, the other side of the aura emerged, and the evil order of the Dark Auras or Dark Masters, both sides fought tirelessly generation after generation since they were opposites, they could never find peace.
These conflicts caused both orders to become extinct since neither could end the other. After their disappearance, the power transcended new empires and kingdoms that expanded throughout the land known to man, separating borders and peoples, creating various conflicts and ending the balance of the world, plunging it into wars.
However, everything changed the day a brave Aura Guardian appeared and defended peace during a war that had already claimed many lives of both humans and Pokémon. Together with his partner Lucario, they fought on all fronts trying to stop the conflict, but nothing they did could end so much hatred. Therefore, that Aura Guardian decided to sacrifice everything he had and had to leave his partner behind to sacrifice his life in the Tree of Beginning, where with Mew's help, he could purify Where, with the help of Mew, he was able to purify the hearts of all the warriors and Pokémon, thus stopping the war.
But although the guardian aura known as Sir Aaron had passed away, his legacy continued to be alive in his son, Ash, who would become the knight of the azure armor.
That warrior was not born in a palace or surrounded by luxury; he was born in a small village of farmers in Kanto, where he had nothing more than his family and two Pokémon, who would be his most important companions and friends, his sword and shield, his lightning and his guardian.
However, his life changed when the cruelty of the world claimed his loved ones without him being able to do anything, leaving him alone with his companions and a golden sword bathed in history. It was then that a man appeared, who wore a cloak and a blue hat. For a promise to an old friend, he would be his guide and guardian in that dark world.
That man had the mission of being his master and guiding him on the path of goodness and justice, but his young age limited him. Therefore, he entrusted him first with an old friend of his, none other than the king of his land. A king who, despite having a tough character, was a kind man with a loving family. Suddenly, the young farmer entered the world of royalty, living in a castle, although he didn't like it. Over time, those people had become his family and friends, but he had a duty to fulfill, so his guardian became his master and taught him the ways of aura to become a warrior.
From a helpless child, he became a tenacious and capable warrior eager to fulfill his duty alongside his companions and master... but darkness was stalking him because of his father, and he was attacked by the forces of darkness, losing everything in just one day... his master sacrificed himself to save him... his new family was massacred, and with intense anger, he took the life of the one who had left him alone once again.
Injured, confused, and without purpose, that boy destined to be an aura guardian strayed from the path, succumbing to sadness and breaking his code and oath to his deceased master. So much so that his companion, his sword, and his guardian decided to distance themselves from him, but in the end, the boy didn't care and decided to find his own way... one that made him another person... made him a mercenary.
Years passed, and he created his legend, not as a warrior or guardian but as a professional assassin and mercenary who did not question or hesitate to kill as long as the price was right. Accompanied by his faithful Pikachu, he traveled through different kingdoms and fulfilled the tasks that were asked of him, without regretting and without looking back... until destiny took him to Sinnoh, "Where he was entrusted with a different task, instead of killing, he had to care for the life of a young princess who questioned the luxuries of her life and the destiny that had been bestowed upon her.
From that moment on, he stopped being a mercenary and became a knight, one who, despite being tested in his conviction and patience while caring for the princess, was able to regain the honor and conviction he had when training as a warrior. This gave him a place in the royalty of Sinnoh, not only as a warrior but as a friend, as there was only something more impressive than his sword skills, and that was his noble heart, which enamored the princess he cared for.
But darkness attacked the knight again, putting him to the test with what he held most dear, the death of his loved ones. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't contain his enemy, who claimed the lives of the princess's parents. His failure affected him like never before in his life, and like a coward, he decided to give up everything before losing it.
At rock bottom, the lost knight saw a familiar face, his guardian, his friend Lucario, made him stand up and reminded him of the destiny he had to fulfill. He reminded him that he had to honor the sacrifice his father, his mother, and all those who had died defending him had made. Those words were enough for the lost knight to decide to accept his power and legacy...finally, his destiny had been fulfilled.
That young man was no longer a peasant, a warrior, a mercenary, a knight, or a coward...he was what he should have always been, an aura guardian.
The reborn aura guardian had a duty to fulfill, as the discord of war was looming between the kingdoms, so armed with courage, he turned to his old family to face the hatred and regain peace.
So the aura guardian, along with the help of his friends, faced the warrior that darkness used. It was a bloody and brutal battle where both warriors fought with all their might, and when the end was very close for the last aura guardian...a light helped him and gave him enough strength to end the darkness and stop the war.
At the end of the battle, both sides abandoned the battlefield, and the brave warriors were able to return home. The aura guardian had finally fulfilled his destiny despite everything, although he knew that his task would not end there, so he left his lightning and dearest friend with the princess to be her new knight.
Meanwhile, he and his faithful companions would have to defend the fragile balance of the world and rebuild the old order of the aura guardians.
Thus, Ash, the named celestial knight, made his legend.
End."
"Great mommy, I love it when you tell me that story," a little boy said to his mother while sitting next to his bed. "I know, son, it's like the fifth time I've read it to you," the young mother said with a small laugh.
"Hey mommy...so the blue knight is really out there, right?" The little boy asked with much excitement. The mother smiled at the eager look on her son's face.
"You know, there's a rumor that if you're in trouble, the blue knight will come to your aid, while announcing his arrival with a mysterious melody."
The little boy became very excited at the thought of meeting that hero from his story. "Alright young man, it's time to sleep," the young mother said to her son as she blew out the candle in his room.
The next day, the young mother left her humble home to go to the nearest town to buy food with her son. The forest where they lived was in the north of their land, where the forests were covered by a dense mist.
Being so young, he didn't understand the dangers lurking around him and how the world was really like the story they told him, a world where the strong take advantage of the weak in order to survive, especially in a forest like that.
"Sweetie, please don't wander too far," the young mother asked her son, who was playing chasing some Pidgeys. "Look, mommy, the Pidgeys," the boy exclaimed as he ran faster and without looking around. The mother panicked when she saw her son wandering off, so she ran after him.
The unsuspecting child continued to venture deeper into the forest, wanting to catch the small bird Pokemon, but unknowingly, he walked into the lion's den.
Suddenly, four individuals emerged from the forest. These individuals were clearly hunters as they wore different Pokemon skins as coats and were armed to the teeth. The smell of blood could be distinguished from their clothes.
The little boy and his mother were filled with fear as they saw these people approaching them with evil intentions. "Well, well, look what we have here," one of them exclaimed, apparently the leader. The young mother instinctively put her son behind her to protect him. "Don't come any closer," the young mother warned them, trying to keep them away from her little son.
"It looks like they're juicy prey," one of the men exclaimed, showing his depraved and cruel nature. With each passing second, the terror of both grew as they realized it would be the end. The young mother looked at her son and hugged him tightly, trying to protect him from death. The leader of the hunters savored this moment, so he pushed the mother aside and grabbed the little boy with a hug.
The mother's screams echoed throughout the forest. Her desperate plea was silenced as she was struck by one of the men while another held her down. The little boy still didn't understand that this would be his end, that this man would extinguish his existence without mercy or pity.
The hunter held him tightly and unsheathed a long dagger in order to spill the child's blood on the ground...but something stopped him.
The hunter's hand was pierced by an arrow that came out of nowhere. All the other men fell silent when they heard their leader's scream as he was wounded. "Who the hell did this?" The leader of the hunters shouted furiously as he searched for the attacker.
But they couldn't find anyone. Suddenly, a melody came from the forest, a calm and mysterious melody that filled the environment, confusing everyone. The little boy took advantage of the opportunity and returned to his mother's arms, who looked equally confused. (The melody is Zenaku's song, you know, the wolf warrior, look it up.)
The ruthless hunters were filled with fear when they saw that the music was getting closer and closer, and the fog was getting thicker around them. "Be on alert, idiots," the leader ordered them as he removed the arrow from his hand. They all drew their weapons and looked around to find their attacker.
What they didn't know was that there were two beings around that thick fog, who could clearly see where they were. Suddenly, one of the hunters let out a loud scream.
His comrades turned to look at him, but he was no longer there as the fog had swallowed him up. Overcome by panic, the other three men began to strike everything they saw, but that didn't stop the individual who claimed the life of another one of them.
The hunters had become prey, and fear had already The hunter tightly gripped him and unsheathed a long dagger, intending to spill the child's blood on the ground...but something stopped him.
The hunter's hand was pierced by an arrow that came out of nowhere, and everyone else fell silent at the sound of their leader's cry when he was wounded. "Who the hell did this?" The hunter leader yelled furiously as he searched for the one who had attacked him.
But they couldn't find anyone, and suddenly a melody came from the forest, a calm and mysterious melody that filled the environment, confusing everyone. The little boy took the opportunity and ran back into the arms of his mother, who looked equally confused. (The melody is the song of Zenaku, you know, the wolf warrior, look it up.)
The ruthless hunters were overcome with fear as they saw that music approaching closer and closer, and the mist became denser around them. "Stay alert, idiots," the leader ordered as he removed the arrow from his hand. Everyone drew their weapons and looked around to find their attacker.
What they didn't know was that there were two beings around that dense mist, who could clearly see where they were. Without warning, one of the hunters let out a loud scream.
His comrades turned to look at him, but he was already gone as the mist had swallowed him up. Overcome by panic, the other three men began to strike at everything they saw, but that did not stop the individual who claimed another of their lives.
The hunters had become prey, and fear had already taken hold of them, while the mother and her son tried not to move, not wanting to become victims of whatever was killing their attackers.
"Boss...we have to get out of here, they're killing us ahhh!" One of the hunters told his boss before a knife pierced his neck, silencing him forever, his lifeless body falling to the ground, covering the earth with his blood. Now completely alone, the last hunter ran away, trying to escape the mist.
But he was stopped by a strong blow from that mysterious figure, knocking him to the ground. What he saw was a man wearing a blue armor covering his chest and shoulders with a long dark cloak, but when he tried to look into his eyes, he couldn't, as his face was covered by a helmet of the same color, with only his eyes visible and covered by a worn hat (the helmet he was wearing is from Siris, a character from Infinity Blade).
That individual emanated an imposing and serious presence, so much so that the tough hunter could not move a finger out of fear of having that killer gaze on him. "Who...who are you?" he asked the man in front of him.
The man approached him even more, and before answering, unsheathed the weapon he had on his back, a long katana with golden inscriptions that looked ancient but with a sharpness that would cut through the wind. He responded in a deep voice, "I am no one," he said curtly, lowering his sword.
In less than a second, the hunter tried to attack him with his weapon, but he could not, as in a single movement, the knight had acted first and cut his throat with one stroke. The dying hunter fell to the ground, choking on his own blood, taking one last look at his executioner, the last thing he could hear was, "I am only justice."
The mother and her son were frozen until they heard the screams, only the sound of someone approaching them. They both remained motionless as they saw that none of their attackers remained, only that man in blue armor.
The boy was stunned to see such a formidable warrior, but he did notice that a strangely shaped flute was tied around his waist, and he quickly remembered the hero of the story, "You...you are," he tried to stammer, but in the blink of an eye, the man had already disappeared, taking the thick fog with him.
The boy stopped being afraid, and a big smile appeared on his face as he realized that he had seen him - the legendary guardian, the blue knight."
Near the mountains, far away from that forest, two beings were chatting under a big tree.
"What you did for them was very noble, master. You know we're behind schedule with our task, yet you took the time," Lucario reminded his young master, who was staring fixedly at the horizon.
"That mission can wait. Unlike those elders, I don't mind getting my hands dirty," the young knight responded to his faithful friend with hesitation.
"I wouldn't call you my true master if you hadn't done it," Lucario laughed, knowing the aura guardian's character well. "Anyway, old friend, let's keep going. We still have a long way to go," Ash exclaimed, adjusting his hat to continue their journey.
In the world, there will always be real and fictional stories, but their legend was more than true, and although he didn't know it, he would face his toughest challenge yet.
Well, guys, what do you think? I really would like you to comment and tell me if you're interested in this project or not. It's a story I'm dying to tell, so I hope to hear your feedback. Thank you very much.
