Humphrey was estatic he didnt know he had it in him to make a actual kill the small white furred rabbit looked to be about 9 pounds a good meal for a lone wolf.

Humphrey sat in silence in front of his kill , he looked around the empty forest he was in there was no one around to celebrate his sucessfull hunt with him so with that he opted to eat alone while thinking about his next quest as a lone wolf.

Humphrey sat there eating his meal in peace enjoying the fresh meat of his kill in the old pack omegas are the last to eat , the only thing left is the scraps and bones and sometimes there is no meat left and most omegas will be forced to just be hungry or forge for berries but this kill was his and his alone.

A decent amount of time had passed and there was nothing left just a few bones and left over fur.

Once humphrey was finnished eating he decided to go for a walk around his territory and get a better lay of the land from his den the north had the small lake and river , the south of his den is unknown , to the east is the lodge site where kate and him hitched a ride home , the west of the area has a plain about the size of what humans call a foofball field

after scouting it out for a while he observed there is lots of carabou and smaller game along the forest on the edge of the clearing exhausted from scouting the west side humphrey decided to go to his den and relax for a few hours.

While he lay there relaxing he heard a faint scream comming from the south the only part of his domain he has yet to explore. Humphrey did not want to go to the sound of the noise but he couldnt judt leave a mammal in need to die or worse , so he took off sprinting , after five min of running he could hear the stranger yelling for help not far ahead .

Humphrey could see a small cliff it couldnt be ! it is the mud slide and he could hear the voice comming from below in the mud he ran to the edge of the cliff and what he could see baffled him it was a dire situation and he neede to act quick !

Back in Jasper

kate was sitting at the tracks wating for a train to board and go to idaho when the heard some noise behind her.

Shakey , Salty and mooch emerged from the bushes giving kate a look of hatred all there eyes are red and their fur looks like they quit grooming it properly

not saying a word the three approched kate growling with the slightest hit of tears in there eyes.

salty spoke in an angry tone while growling '"how dare you , how dare you run our best friend off you have no idea what you have done he was the only one able to lead us omegas we will not accept another and now he is gone…. we should make you pay with".

mooch butted in "Salty stop we agreed vilonce is not the answer even if she deserves to be mauled for what she done our brother, look kate we heard you are going after humphrey and we want to go but we cant we will only slow you down and we dont want that bad thing happen to the people you love and if you are fast enough you might be able to bring home our brother but be warned if your not back in seven days there will be hell to play."

shakey said calmly "let me elaborate on what mooch said as the executive leaders while humphrey is gone we will start a strike that means no more omegas to keep the peace and yes your sister lilly is with us on this humphrey is the only leader for us yes winston is pack leader but we would put our lives on the line for humprey and you destroyed his heart and that is an unforgivable act lucky for you he dose not hold a grudge now anout the strike you know as well as we do you alphas would fall apart without us especially with the merging of the packs with the tension high if you locate him and he rejects you and stays where he is then all of us omegas will leave and join him".

kate spoke softly with tears in her eyes "look i love him and i made a mistake and i will not stop untill i find him and bring him home hopefully as my mate i know i broke his heart but i was afraid a war would start if i tried to reject garth but he is with lilly now and im alone while the one i love is out there possibily hurt ,im ashamed that i let him go and it is the biggest mistake i have ever made in my life , he is such a good wolf possibily the nicest most caring and kind wolf out there and i broke his heart but im going to fix it i promise you guys, please forgive me i didnt mean to hurt him.."

All three wolves could hear a train in the distance getting closer to then

salty spoke sternly "hmmm if you truely love him he would be here right now".

kate sat quietly tears falling from here eyes

mooch told kate "look if you bring him back and he wants to stay and continue being our leader and our friend we might forgive you but right now all we feel is hatred towrad you and how this pack has treated him and all of us ."

After a some what heated conversation the train was now very close.

without and further words exchanged she took off to match the speed of the train the best she could after almost five closed train carts she seen a open cart with all her energy she had left kate jumpes on to the cart tumbling upon the landing. getting ready for a long ride she found an empty burlap sack in the damp poorly lit cart with some grey slightly mouldy walls and decided to get some rest for the time being hoping humphrey is out there so she can tell him how she really feels.

A/N i hope you enjoyed this chaptere i put some more time into this chapter and im excited for you to read it i know its not perfect but im still workin on getting better at my writing skills.
