Author Notes:

New chapter so soon is weird anyways i don't have much to say other than the next thing i upload will be the first chapter of my new series Total drama Shifted Island. Or at least I expect.

In the other hand I didn't explain very well why I didn't decide that the bear storyline would continue, it was more than anything because I would have to make sure that the one who was attacked by the bear was also eliminated and I didn't want that ending for anyone, I was thinking if I could do it with Noah since it was the one eliminated of the week but I didn't want that to be his ending or at least the one he has for now.

And finally, the couples or rather the couple of Noah and Tyler did not have time to explore each other but if the randomizer gives me some opportunity so that I can explore the dynamics of the two I will use it because I think they deserve it. Well after all that let's get started.

Not So Happy Campers - Part 2

"Last time on Total Drama Island… Our competitors became hunters. And then hunted. Izzy and Lindsay's game was way off. And when both of them finally understood the Challenge, they screwed up entirely. Sadie made a date for Katie and DJ. Which creates tension when Katie tells her that DJ didn't like her, making things weird between the BFFFLs. In a shocking result Noah was eliminated since he was suspicious of Justin. Can the Gophers recover from this loss? Will Sadie and Katie fix things? Discover it in Total!. Drama!. ¡Island!.

The episode begins with all the campers gathered in the dining room, the camera focuses on Gwen and Courtney who were not interested in the food. "Hey, Bridgette," Trent calls the girl who was about to go to her table for breakfast.

At this, Bridgette approaches the Gophers table. "Hey, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, uh…. I just wanted to know if you would like to have breakfast with us" Trent asks.

Bridgette stays silent for a few moments to think and takes a quick look at her table. Tyler seemed quite sad and discouraged, she told herself that she would talk to him another time.

"Of course why not, well if your colleagues don't mind of course"

"I'm fine with it," Gwen comments. She was sitting next to Trent. Courtney who was sitting in front of Gwen takes a few seconds to respond before she receives looks from Gwen and Trent. "Alright"

Bridgette sits next to Courtney since it was the seat that was closest to her. She glances to the right where the other Gophers were but most of them seemed to be minding their own business. She saw Geoff and Justin talking very close with each other, Beth and Lindsay were talking something about fashion out loud and Izzy, well, Izzy was being Izzy was putting any kind of condiments on her breakfast which no longer seemed like a breakfast.

"Well… how are you doing?" the blonde asks to break the ice.

"The best you can get from eating the chef's food," Gwen jokes.

"Not very good, the last challenge was a disaster so we're talking about what the next challenge could be," Courtney interjected with an irritated voice.

"Yeah, I guess running from a bear wasn't the best way to spend the time."

"Changing the subject, you are a surfer, right?" Gwen intervenes "when you started surfing"

"Oh, since quite little. My Mom is a surfer, she was the one who taught me how to surf, we live on a small coast not so far from the sea"

"Wow, that's great," says Trent, quite attentive to her story. "You should teach me how to surf. Every time I hear you talking about surfing, I want to spend an afternoon on the beach surfing with you."

"I would love to, if you want we can practice here, I saw some surfboards that look pretty decent for what this place is." Bridgette smiles at the boy, Gwen realizes what is happening and directs her gaze to Courtney, who was with a raised eyebrow.

"Your Mom sounds great," Gwen says. "Yes, she is, she's like my best friend, I know it sounds silly but-"

"It's not, my Mom is also like my best friend even if i don't tell her," Gwen comments on the latter with a funny tone "It's always been just me, her and my brother."

"I would love to have siblings, I am an only child," says Bridgette.

"Well… you're lucky brothers are the worst, they're annoying, they eat your food and play pranks on you" Gwen says before changing her tone to a more nostalgic one "Although they can be amazing too, my little brother can be the worst but I I want even if it's the one I'm here for."

"Oh really?" Courtney asked, taking the words out of Bridgette's mouth.

"Yes, he challenged me to audition, I didn't think they would choose me but here I am"

"Well, what about you Courtney, any reason to be here" Trent asks. "It's a good option for my big step to greatness. After I win the $100,000, I will finish my studies to go to a good university and become a lawyer, easy."

"Wow, it seems like you have your life figured out," the surfer intervenes.

"I have to, My sister is a doctor and successful, if I don't follow in her footsteps, what else can I do?" she says quite calmly to the others, the three of them just remain silent. The chat continued after a few minutes, Bridgette sometimes turning to look at Tyler who seemed to start a chat with Cody who seemed to be trying to cheer him up.

The scene cuts to show Katie and Sadie who were quieter than is normal for them, "I'm sorry."

"You already said that these 3 days"

"Katie, I'm really sorry."

"I just know that-, argh I feel like we're drifting apart."

"What? You're the one who always does that."

"What are you talking about?"

"In second grade when you were with that girl Samantha that whole week, you didn't talk to me for that whole week I felt horrible" before Katie could respond Sadie continued "Or like when in fifth grade you didn't talk to me for almost a month because you were with that group of friends who treated you like trash. Or last year when you had your first boyfriend and you didn't even tell me."

"Sadie… Why did you never tell me that those things bothered you?"

"Because, I didn't want us to have our first big fight, but I guess it doesn't matter now."

Before Katie could respond, Chris entered the dining room. "Good morning campers, your challenge today is about to begin, follow me."

The scene changes to show all the campers were on top of a cliff in bathing suits.

"Okay, today's challenge is three-fold. Your first task is to jump off this one-thousand-foot high cliff, into the lake."

"Easy" says Izzy, very excited.

"If you look down, you will see two target areas. The wider part area represents the part of the lake that we have stocked with psychotic, haha, man-eating sharks. Inside that area is a safe zone. That's your target area. Which, we're pretty sure, is shark free."

"Pretty sure?" ask Courtney.

"For each member of your team that jumps and actually…survives, there will be a crate of supplies waiting below. Inside each crate are supplies that you'll need for the second part of the challenge." The camera pans to show the box of supplies that looked like they were glowing.

"Building a hot tub. The team with the best one gets to have a wicked hot tub party tonight. The team that loses, will lose a member today. Screaming Gophers you go first"

"Well, what comes first?" Geoff asks with a smile. No one responds for a few moments "Argh, why not?" Trent answers.

The boy jumps off the cliff and falls into the safe zone. Izzy sees this and shouts before doing the same "CANNONBALL!" Like Trent, the girl falls face-first into a buoy that was near the safe zone.

After this a montage happens to see several campers fall one after the other.

Justin jumps while looking in the mirror.

Geoff just shouts "Woohoo!" happily.

Gwen jumps in a weird position.

Beth seems excited as she jumps only for her to look down screaming in terror.

"Argh, I can't believe I have to do this" says the CIT.

BZZZZT

"Scared? Of course not," says Courtney. "I was planning on not jumping because looking at the other team I knew some of them wouldn't jump. But after that defeat in the previous challenge I know that I cannot let the opportunity of winning a challenge be risked."

BZZZZT

Lindsay approaches the edge and looks down only to walk back a few seconds later. "I can't do it, I'm sorry guys," she shouts to everyone already on the edge.

BZZZZT

"I didn't know this competition would be so difficult, I don't want to disappoint my team but these challenges are very difficult"

BZZZZT

"Bawk-bawk-bawk!" Chris imitates a hen to tease the blonde "That means the chicken's path down is that-a-way."

Lindsay goes down the cliff via some automatic stairs that were there (obviously edited).

"Okay. So that's eight jumpers and one chicken. Killer Bass, if you can beat that, we'll throw in a pull-cart to put your crates on."

"Okay, who wants to go first?" Bridgette asks with a smile.

Before anyone responded, screams were heard coming from the BFFFLs, who were fighting.

"Oh please, don't you remember when you told everyone I had lice in first grade and everyone believed you, it was a nightmare for a whole month," Sadie yells angrily.

"I was joking and I was with you all that time, that's why they called us the Lice girls," Katie responds, also angry.

"Whatever, you know, stay away from me, I don't even know why we're still friends," Sadie says as she turns to face Katie.

Katie gasped at this, and her eyes trembled with small tears forming around them.

"Good, because you know that I also don't want to be with a friend who doesn't have any more friends than me. Katie does the same as Sadie and turns around and crosses her arms.

Not long after this Katie and Sadie run in the direction they were each looking, as Katie falls off the cliff and Sadie runs down the cliff.

All the Bass who witnessed the scene remained silent and uncomfortable for a few seconds. "Well that was something," Cody says with a nervous laugh. Chris laughs out loud after watching this scene "this will give good ratings."

"I think we should see if everything is okay with her, guys," Bridgette says. "I'll go," Duncan says and jumps off the cliff. Bridgette makes a suspicious face and not long after follows Duncan diving like a professional swimmer. After this Cody, Tyler and Owen who when falling creates a giant wave that reaches the shore where the others were.

"Uh uh, no way man. I'm not jumpin". Says DJ Fearful "Scared of heights?" ask Chris not very interested, "Yeah, ever since I was a kid."

Chris pats him on the shoulder "That's okay, big guy. Unfortunately, that also makes you a chicken. So, you'll have to wear this for the rest of the day." Chris hands the chicken hat to the big guy, "Oh and give this to your chicken buddy." Chris hands another chicken hat to Sadie.

The scene quickly changes to show the Gophers enjoying their reward and dragging their 8 boxes on 4 wagons.

"Oh, I have an idea, we should sing a song like '99 Bottles of Pop', what do you think?" Beth asked excitedly, the girl received some accepting looks along with some not so much.

"Oh really?" asked the CIT. "Oh, come on, it will be fun," Trent replies. Courtney doesn't say anything for a few seconds until she starts singing the song. The others join in although they are a little surprised that Courtney was the one to start.

The scene changed to show the Bass who were significantly further behind the Gophers. Bridgette pushes one of the boxes with Katie who had red eyes after her crying.

"Hey, I know this is a stupid question but… are you okay?" asks the surfer "No, I'm not, I just lost my best friend."

"Hey, don't say that, this is just a fight, I'm sure you both will solve it."

"We never had a fight as big as this, I don't know if we can recover," Kaie says sadly. "Well if you want to talk about it, I'm here, you know," Bridgette tells her and pats her on the shoulder soothingly. Katie just gives her a sad smile and pushes again.

Bridgette turns her gaze to Tyler who was pushing a box by himself. "I have to talk to Tyler, I'll be back in a bit, okay?" Bridgette says to Katie, accompanied by a hug from the surfer.

Tyler seemed to handle his box well although from his face it seemed like he wasn't focused on it. Until Bridgette calls him "Hey I know you don't need help but I wanted to talk to you" the surfer girl came over and helped him push his box. "Eh… well yes why not"

The blonde takes a few seconds before starting to speak, "Are you okay? You know because of Noah."

"What? I don't know what you're talking about. I'm fine. We don't even interact much, so why would I be sad?" Jock laughs nervously. Bridgette just gives him a kind look. "Arg, it's fine. I'm still sad. I know it's stupid but... Now I'll never know if we could have had something." Bridgette remains silent for a few seconds before answering. "Look, there are times when some people don't meet at the right time. I guess this wasn't the time, but I'm sure that when this is over you'll have an answer" Bridgette comforts Tyler.

The camera changes to show Duncan who was looking at this scene quite dissatisfied.

BZZZZT

"Bridgette, she's getting too close to everyone, her social game is too good, I wanted to try to get Katie on my side when she was crying about her fight with Sadie but Bridgette came over and took her to a rock to sit and talk. "I guess I could try to turn Sadie against both of them but I think there's something better I can do." Duncan finishes his confessional with a mischievous smile.

BZZZZT

The scene changes again to show the Gophers who were still singing. Except for Lindsay and Beth, no one had noticed because they were somewhat behind.

BZZZZT

Beth was in the confessional, she seemed quite serious. "After Noah was eliminated, I knew something was wrong. I know that most likely a lot of people didn't like him, but Izzy and Lindsay cost us the challenge. Look, I like Lindsay a lot and I didn't want her to leave. "so I voted for Izzy I thought the majority would do the same but when Noah went, I felt something was wrong, and I have to investigate it together with whoever took Eva's MP3 so get ready because Beth the detective came into play" the girl puts on a detective-style hat, grabs a magnifying glass and puts it in her eye, and a fake pipe which she holds in her mouth. The hat and the pipe looked like they were handmade. "I made them myself at the Arts & Crafts Center. I like them" The girl smiled at the camera, quite happy with her result.

BZZZT

"Lindsay I have a question, did you vote for Noah last time?"

"Eh… Yes," Lindsay responds, "But why?" Beth asks, somewhat disappointed. "Well Justin told me he could save me from elimination if I voted for Noah."

"Justin? But why did Justin wanted Noah to leave?" Beth asks herself.

The camera changes again to show the Bass who were still far behind the Gophers.

Sadie was with Cody pushing, the boy was trying to talk to her but Sadie didn't seem to want the same.

Katie approaches them, and Cody understands that this is the time to leave, so he went to where Katie was before.

"Can we talk?" Katie says in almost a whisper but audible to Sadie "... Sure."

The scene cuts to show them already talking "Look I know this is hard but-" Sadie cuts Katie off in mid-sentence "I forgive you okay, and you forgive me, we're okay now, right?" Sadie says quickly.

"Sadie-"

"Well now that we're friends again we should-"

"Sadie!" Katie screams, Sadie is surprised by this "I don't want to lose your friendship but I don't think we are doing well right now so as much as it hurts me I think we should be separated for a while so that we can both be okay, meet new friends." "

"Do you want me to find a new best friend?" Sadie looked like she was about to cry.

"That's not what I said, we can still be friends and not be together all the time, you know that, right?"

"Why would I want another friend? If I have you"

"See this is what I'm saying, we're both too codependent you know and I don't want to spoil our friendship you understand"

"I understand that you don't want us to get together anymore because of a silly misunderstanding."

"Not only is that Sadie, it's all!, as you always copy what I do and as I always copy what you do, as we are always together every moment of the day and I didn't want to stop doing that but taking it to an extreme could put it at risk. our friendship"

"I think you already ended our friendship up there," Sadie says and turns around to continue pushing. Katie holds back her crying and runs away. Sadie can't take it and her tears run down her face.

The scene cuts to show the Gophers already in the camp, all trying to open one of the boxes with their teeth.

"Remember, you guys can only use your teeth to open the crates. I came up with that one." the last thing he said, he did it looking directly at the camera.

"Oh! my tongue" Izzy complains and then shows her tongue with a burn.

The scene cuts to show all the Gophers opening the boxes like Izzy did.

After they had opened all the boxes they began to build the jacuzzi. A short time later the Basses arrived.

"Why did it take you so long?" Trent asked Bridgette. "It's not that easy to move heavy boxes, plus Katie and Sadie were a little out of focus."

Trent wanted to continue talking but a fake cough called him, he turned to see Courtney looking at him with her typical judgmental look. "Luck," he says, giving her a farewell greeting. The girl does the same and heads off to her team.

The scene cuts to show a montage of the two teams advancing in their hot tubs. They both had problems but the Gophers seemed more united.

"Time is over!" Chris announced "Time to check those Jacuzzis."

The scene cuts to show Chris looking at the Bass's Jacuzzi. It seems rushed and not long after it breaks. Complaints are heard from the Bass. Chris heads to the Gophers' jacuzzi, this seemed to be better and much more refined than the Bass's. "Well, I think we have a winner here." Suspense music is heard (although it is very obvious what is going to happen) "The Screaming Gophers!"

Los Gophers celebran. "Gophers, you're safe from elimination and you get to rock this awesome hot tub for the rest of the summer! Bonus!" Los Gophers celebran mucho más ante esto.

The scene changes to show all the campers in the cafeteria the Gophers' spirits were quite high while the Bass seemed crestfallen.

The camera zooms in on Trent, Gwen and Courtney. "Well what do you think?" Trent asks the CIT "About what?" Trent raises an eyebrow. "Ok, okay, she's nice and you can keep seeing her but be careful."

"Yes, you know I wasn't going to care what you thought and I will still continue to spend time with her. I just wanted you to admit that you were wrong."

"I didn't admit anything, I just said she is nice."

"I didn't admit? So what you actually were wrong?" Gwen says mockingly. Courtney just rolls her eyes and continues eating. Trent and Gwen just look at each other and snicker.

The camera pans to show Beth who was looking suspiciously at Justin who was standing next to Geoff.

At the other table Katie and Sadie were sitting at a different end of the table. Bridgette, seeing this, sighs and decides to take action.

"Sadie, we can talk outside," Bridgette tells the girl and she gets up to follow the surfer outside. When the girls leaves, Duncan approaches Tyler and Cody "Alliance meeting now!"

The camera cuts to show the girls "Look, I know you are both fighting but you both can't keep doing this, you are both making each other feel horrible."

Sadie doesn't answer. "Look you don't have to talk about it now but you have to think before you regret this" Sadie still doesn't say anything until she's crying.

"I don't know what to do without Katie, without her I don't even know who I am" Sadie puts her hands on her face.

"Look, you can always be your own person. Maybe you don't know who you are today or tomorrow, but I'm sure you'll find out. You're smart and clever. I'm sure you should start there." Sadie gives Bridgette a hug while she cries, the surfer alone. She hugs her back.

The scene changes again to show the elimination ceremony.

"You know the rules, if I call you, you're safe and you can come and have your marshmallow. Bridgette, Owen, Tyler, Cody, DJ."

Katie and Sadie look at each other scared. Duncan seems calm. "Katie, you're safe."

"One last marshmallow. The person who doesn't get this marshmallow will walk off the Dock of Shame and take a ride on the Boat of Losers. Who's it gonna be?"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Sadie, you're out." Duncan stands up and takes his marshmallow.

"Why?" Sadie asks bewildered.

"You two were discussing the entire challenge," Duncan responds with a smile.

Bridgette approaches Sadie to give the girl a hug "I didn't want this to be the moment"

"Okay, I think this might be good for me," Sadie responds with a sad smile.

Sadie starts walking towards the dock. Katie just stared until Sadie was halfway there.

Katie ran to her friend. "Sadie, I'm sorry I didn't-"

"Katie, don't worry, you have nothing to apologize for, you were right, I didn't want this to be the way, I'm sure you'll make more friends than me, you were always better than me at that."

Katie doesn't respond, she just cries along with Sadie.

"This will be my chance to discover who I really am" Sadie takes something out of her pocket. It was a handmade necklace, the necklace was pink and had BFFF'Ls written on it and on the back was a K. "I made it for when we reconciled, it's not my best work but-"

"It's perfect," says Katie, putting on the necklace.

Sadie does the same and puts on her necklace which has a letter S on the back.

"Best friends forever?" Katie raises her pinky. "Best friends forever," Sadie says, the two make the 'Pinky Promise' and hug to say goodbye.

Katie just stays on the dock even when Sadie is gone Bridgette comes over and hugs her sideways as she stays with her in the moonlight.

The other Gophers left, Cody and Tyler stayed for a few seconds, their looks were regretful, but they returned like the others.

On their way back they saw the Gophers celebrating in their Jacuzzi. "I can't believe I listened to Duncan, I don't even like him that much."

"Yes, but he is a good competitor, even if his tactics are somewhat-"

"Dirty, yes I suppose so"

The episode ends with a scene of the Gophers in their Jacuzzi while making a toast.

"For The Screaming Gophers" says Geoff

"For the Screaming Gophers!" they all repeat in unison.

Author Notes:

Well this episode was an interesting thing to write, when I saw that Sadie was going to be eliminated I knew that the plot would revolve around her and Katie. Although several characters also took the focus: Courtney, Gwen and Trent are a group that I like to write about and I feel like they work well, Beth has her own plot as a detective. I knew I wanted to do something with her and I honestly think I like where it's going. Bridgette Well, she was everywhere in this episode but I honestly think she was necessary.

Many characters didn't have time because of Katie and Sadie but that will be fixed in the next episode don't worry.

As for the challenge, I wanted to put it in the background, even though it is iconic because it is the first challenge, I wanted the episode to have more interactions between characters.

Oh and also the reason there wasn't that much randomization was because I didn't know how to include it, for example the person who was going to urinate on poison ivy was Owen but this wouldn't get you anywhere. I didn't feel like it made much sense for anyone other than Izzy to open her box first. Although it was funny that DJ was still afraid of water because in up the creek he doesn't completely overcome his fear.

Other things since the elimination of Noah, I decided that it would be better to randomize everything in the pre-merge first so that I already know who will be eliminated from the following episodes. I did this to have better consistency when it comes to the plots.

Oh, I also changed the intro. I think 7 episodes are good, but I didn't want to keep playing it.
