Transformers War for Cybertron: An Old War.

Chapter 15: Tailpunch's Contingency Plans.

(Metroplex City, Outseek's POV...)

We stood ready in Tailpunch's laboratory as he showed us his contingency plans for just in case Megatron poisoned Cybertron's core with Dark Energon.

Tailpunch's first contingency plan is to use the rest of the Omega Sentinels and Guardian Robots to dismantle the Decepticon forces while avoiding being taken out by the methods Megatron, Soundwave, and Breakdown would use to wear down Omega Supreme in order to corrupt him with Dark Energon and force him to open the Omega Gate so that Megatron would have access to Cybertron's core so he can infect it with Dark Energon as well: using heavy ion turrets to start wearing down Omega Supreme's armor, destroying his body's turrets, avoiding Omega Supreme's tractor beam and missile arrays as much as possible, infecting Energon Batteries with Dark Energon Detpacks, allowing Omega Supreme to absorb the Dark Energon long enough to continuously shoot his armored frame until a small chink in Omega's chestplate could be opened, and unleashing every last clip and Energon infusion of ammo to worsen the chink in his chestplate.

Tailpunch's second contingency plan is to continuously utilize our cloning machines, our Matter Duplication Rays, and so forth to increase our Autobot forces, both ground and air, as well as to increase our resources.

Tailpunch's third contingency plan is to have our significantly bigger army launch a guerilla war campaign to free our comrades from Megatron's Kaon Prison Complex and kill, reprogram, or give scratches and scars to any Decepticons in our way using my Mournblade Sword.

Tailpunch's fourth contingency plan is to use an assortment of Energon Purifiers to purify as much of Cybertron's core from the Dark Energon as we can. And as difficult as it could be due to how thorough in corrupting Cybertron's core the Decepticons will be, as Tailpunch surmised, it'll at least be beneficial to accelerate the process of Cybertron's core repairing itself while taking up less time than it would if we didn't have these Energon Purifiers.

Tailpunch's fifth contingency plan involves a majority of our Aerialbot forces cloned and duplicated in every way possible to fly over to Trypticon Orbital Station and shut it down as well as to force Trypticon to transform to robot mode by destroying his transformation cog before he could have the chance to fire even one shot at the other galactic transports/Ark ships, preferably the Aerialbots should perform this mission immediately after Optimus receives the Matrix of Leadership and before Optimus makes the call for the Great Exodus.

Tailpunch's sixth contingency plan involves us using the methods he described to defeat Trypticon in his humongous robot mode: overloading his shoulder cannons by shooting at Energon batteries to make them explode next to his shoulder cannons, destroying his ribcage's dissipation coils, and destroying his dorsal power cores on his back.

Tailpunch's seventh contingency plan involves us activating the city's artillery gun and Neutron Gun to destroy Megatron's three Warp Cannons before proceeding to activate Metroplex himself.

Tailpunch's eighth contingency plan involves us sending a team alongside Jazz and Cliffjumper to the Sea of Rust to find Shockwave's Energon Lake.

Tailpunch's ninth contingency plan involves us using our Insecticon comrades to not only assimilate dominance over their own Insecticon brethren, but also to use the strongest ones to temporarily hold off Shockwave until the Lightning Strike Coalition Force can escape and so Tailpunch can make Grimlock's team become Triple Changer Dinobots, Autobots that transform into robotic dinosaurs like the organic versions on Earth in its primal era, as we previously learned when we traveled there to secure the replica relics and weapons of the Primes.

Tailpunch's tenth contingency plan involves us having a ginormous deployment of Autobots transporting the Energon from the Lake aboard Broadside before having him take on Bruticus and Bruticus Maximus.

Tailpunch's eleventh contingency plan involves us using an upgraded Omega Supreme and his brethren as spare galactic transport warships to transport clones of our forces when the originals stay behind to defend Cybertron from Shockwave after Megatron takes back Trypticon to permanently transform him into the Nemesis as a final punishment for his failure.

Tailpunch's twelfth contingency plan involves us using a Mass Shifter on our future clones of Broadside, Metroplex, Citadel Secondus, Fortress Maximus, Grand Maximus, Metrobase, Metrotitan, Neo Brave Maximus, Brave Maximus, Caminus the Titan, Cargohold, Chela, Citadel, Croaton, Devisiun, Emissary, Iaconus, Lodestar, Navitas, Prion, Quintessa, Tempo, Vigilem, and Waypoint to take with us to Aquatron so we can liberate it from the Quintessons before going to the Planet of Junk to destroy the Star Seekers before migrating to Earth while the original versions of the Titans in their normal robot modes will help some clones of the Omega Sentinels and Guardian Robots to defend Cybertron from not only Shockwave, but also from the Quintessons' invading army of Sharkticons and also to buy Alpha Trion the time he needs to launch the authentic Iacon relics and confiscated Decepticon weapons of mass destruction to Earth.

Tailpunch's thirteenth contingency plan involves us getting in contact with Earth's most powerful government of democracy, the government of the United States of North America, in order for us to be granted safe refuge and in order for us to regroup so we can be ready for just in case the Decepticons find the Earth to plunder it of the Energon that was seeded there in all of the surface quarries and subterranean mines located inside of the planet's mountains and cave systems.

And Tailpunch's fourteenth contingency plan involves us finding the crashed Decepticon transport ship known as the Harbinger and finding the universe-sized array of protoforms – both sparked and sparkless – to further increase the Autobot army's ranks.

Well, at least we octuple-checked to make sure that we weren't being spied on by any Autobots or by any Decepticon Shifters in disguise.

The End.

(Author's notes: And now, we're on to the video game chapters. See you all in chapter 16: Dark Energon.)
