Chapter 32: The Fiery Resolve: Blaze's Evolution
"Oh?~ What's this?~ A New Transformation?~" Kograd says as he looks at Blaze in his new Saiyan Transformation with an evil and mischievous smile on his face. "Well, either way, it won't be a match for me! Sorry but I'm going to have to end this quickly even though I would love to continue fighting you some more!".
Kograd burst forth several fiery waves in front of and behind him before he then threw the fiery waves at Blaze. Blaze starts to easily outmaneuver everything thrown at him and kicks Kograd hard in the stomach which sends him crashing into several large boulders. Kograd stands back up and dusted himself off.
"Hmph! I have to admit, that attack was a lot better than your previous attacks but it still doesn't have an effect on me." Kograd said. "You're going to have to try a lot better than that to beat me!".
Blaze slams his hands down onto the ground as he began to levitate all sizes of rocks with telekinesis as they levitate around Kograd. The rocks around Kograd then explodes, causing a huge explosion and shockwave that the people on the other side of the planet could feel the tremors in the air.
"I see. That destructive power behind the technique was lacking so you make up for it with quantity." Kograd said. "However, you're not the only one who knows destructive Techniques. So let me show you mine."
Kograd tries to prove his superiority by destroying a much larger rock behind Blaze with his own Hakai-like technique, flinging him into his waiting fist for a hard gut punch. Blaze is winded but fires a ki blast at point-blank range, chasing after Kograd as he evades, but is unable to get the upper hand as Kograd's counterattack deals him heavy blows and knocks him into a nearby river.
Kograd fires a volley of precision shots into the water at Blaze, who flies down a waterfall to evade the deadly accurate blasts. Kograd then fires off a powerful blast directly at Blaze as he swims into a lake.
"Resisting, are we?" Kograd says. "Just stop already. You have no chance at reflecting or deflecting that attack of mine."
Blaze is able to destroy it instead, although he is thrown out of the water by the resulting shockwave. Blaze gets back up and sees Kograd walking towards him.
"What a surprise. You fellow mortals are a lot tougher than I expected you to be." Kograd says with a mischievous and confident smile.
"You sound awfully high-and-mighty about it." Blaze comments.
"But of course! I'm a Demon God! We're the strongest demons there is!" Kograd says. "Your struggle is pointless!".
"I hate to admit it, you're stronger than me right now..." Blaze said. "But! I'm still going to win this battle!".
"I don't follow. Has that overinflated ego of yours left you unable to accept reality?" Kograd asked. "It's almost sad really."
"Stop with your yammering and let's keep fighting! Mr. "Demon God"." Blaze said confidently.
They dashed towards each other and began to exchange blows before they began to fly around and exchange blows all over the landscape.
The two fighters continued to exchange blows until Kograd lands a powerful kick to Blaze's stomach, and although he is able to briefly hurt Kograd by grappling his leg, Blaze delivers a sharp elbow strike to it in turn, Kograd quickly kicks him away and regains his composure.
Kograd dashed towards Blaze and gets ready to attack Blaze again, but Blaze is able to defend himself much better than before.
Kograd clads his right hand with A purple-colored aura before landing a pressure point attack that painfully makes Blaze drop down onto his knees. He grimaces and coughs blood onto Kograd's arm, still held up to his pressure point.
Blaze's head slumps forward, but he does not fall, beginning to laugh instead. He glares at Kograd with bloodshot eyes and pulsing veins.
"Heh heh heh... it's been ages since I've felt this pain before..." Blaze said with smile.
Kograd jumps back in surprise as Blaze's aura swells and then ignites into an enormous gout of dark blue flame that shoots high above the clouds.
Blaze smiles maniacally as he says; "Come on! Let's have some more fun together!".
Kograd becomes irritated as he dashed towards Blaze and knocks him back with a punch before he starts to overwhelm him with a barrage of purple Ki blasts.
Blaze fires a Full Power Energy Wave at Kograd, but he lifts up his right forearm and stops the attack before destroying it by just turning his hand into a fist.
Kograd forms and hurls a large ki blast at Blaze. As the attack bears down onto Blaze, Blaze beats back Kograd's blast and begins a fierce counterattack.
Kograd fires off purple Ki blasts at Blaze, but Blaze continues to dodge his attacks and beat Kograd up, saying; "Do you honestly believe I'm going to lose to the likes of you?! In your dreams!!".
Blaze jumps back before Kograd fires off another purple Ki blast at him. Blaze destroys the blast with an energy punch and knocks Kograd back with that same energy punch.
The two fighters then went back to exchanging blows as they began to exchange blows on equal footing. They exchanged blows until Blaze lands an uppercut and a gut punch before Blaze sends Kograd flying back with a high kick.
Blaze stands tall and announces; "I'm going to hit you with an attack you won't be able to evade nor destroy! Sorry again, Vegeta, but I'm borrowing one of your moves again...".
Blaze begins charging up a tremendous amount of ki around himself. Blaze then begins to gathers his life force and converts it into energy, creating flame-like ribbons of energy that spiral around his body. Both his and his Kograd's bodies begin emitting small flecks of golden light, resembling dust blowing off of their skin.
After giving a furious yell, Blaze unleashes the attack as a gigantic, swirling dome of golden energy, inflicting enormous damage to Kograd and their surroundings.
Kograd tries to counter back with a large purple Ki blast and the two attacks struggle against each other, but in the end Blaze's energy is indeed too much for Kograd to destroy, and he is overwhelmed by the explosion.
After the Light show disappeared, the two fighters remain standing ball as they are breathing heavily and are both heavily injured, especially Kograd.
"Huff... Huff... I can't believe you had that kind of power and technique up your sleeve... You bastard!!..." Kograd said exhaustedly.
"Oh... but I'm not done yet, fool!" Blaze says as he powers up again.
"What?!" Kograd shouts out in surprise.
Blaze takes a stance and begins to charge up his ki in both of his hands like a variant of Final Flash.
"Gamma... Burst..." Blaze began to say. "Flash!!".
Blaze then releases it similar to a Double Galick Cannon with his hands in an inverted position, resulting in a devastating beam. Kograd gets hit by the blast and slowly begins to be incinerated.
"No!!... No!!!... NNNOOOOO!!!" Kograd shouts out as his last words before he was incinerated completely by Blaze's Energy Wave Technique.
Blaze powers down to his base form and collapses on the ground from exhaustion.
"Yes!... I finally did it!... I won..." Blaze said before he fell unconscious.
