Draco couldn't forget the first time he had laid eyes on Mia; it was impossible not to remember. He and Harry were around nine years old when their parents had been invited to attend Queen Sophia of Monaco's birthday party. The extravagant event had been held in a grand ballroom, and the boys had been running across the dance floor, carefree and full of energy.

As they dashed around, they accidentally bumped into two other children—a blonde boy and a brunette girl with the bluest eyes Draco had ever seen. He had been about to apologize to the girl when the boy, full of confidence, confronted him. Draco couldn't believe it. Who did that boy think he was, telling him anything? After all, he was a Malfoy, and no one bossed him around. However, the girl didn't seem very amused either, and she had the audacity to call him a "toerag" before leaving.

Draco spent the entire night thinking about how to apologize to the girl. His mother and his godmother had taught him manners, and he knew that he had to make amends. He convinced Harry to join him in the search for the pair, and after some time, they finally found the blonde and brunette were a black-haired boy who seemed quite protective of them. Evidently, the blonde boy had told the black-haired boy about the incident because he kept glaring at Draco. In the end, Draco managed to apologize to the girl, but he couldn't find out her name.

The second time he saw Mia, she looked quite different. She was a two-year-old girl, an exact copy of her uncle James, and Draco found her to be the cutest thing he had ever seen. It wasn't until Christmas that year that he discovered Harry had an older sister.

The third time Draco encountered Mia was during the summer before his second year. It was hard to believe that the girl he had bumped into six years ago was now his best friend's sister. Harry was thrilled, and Mia, who played Quidditch exceptionally well, had been a great help to them. Thanks to her, Draco and Harry became the new Seekers for Gryffindor and Slytherin. Unfortunately for Draco, the blonde boy called Jace and the dark-haired boy, Theo hadn't forgotten their earlier encounter and continued to bother him whenever they could.

The fourth time Draco saw Mia was during their second-year Christmas holiday. Mia, Jace, and Theo had come to spend the holidays with uncle James and his godmother. That Christmas, they learned not only that Mia was an excellent Quidditch player but also an impressive duelist, defeating both Jace and Theo single-handedly. Draco had been a little scared and made a mental note to never upset his best friend's older sister. That year, Mia had gifted them each a sweater signed by Viktor Krum, a prized possession that Draco kept in his Hogwarts trunk.

The fifth time Draco saw Mia was in their Defense Against the Dark Arts class. They were facing a Boggart, and when Harry stepped in front of it, the Boggart took on the form of Mia. Draco, like Harry, was frozen, watching as the Boggart exploited Harry's deepest insecurities. He knew it was a lie, that the real Mia was at Durmstrang, but the Boggart's realism was eerie. After the class, Draco, deeply concerned for his best friend, had immediately sent a letter to his Uncle James and Mia to explain what had happened.

The sixth time Draco encountered Mia was that same afternoon. He saw her talking to Harry near the lake, and before she left, she leaned in and planted a kiss on Draco's cheek. He had turned bright red; he wasn't accustomed to girls, especially his best friend's sister, kissing him on the cheek.

As Draco walked down a hallway, he suddenly felt an unexpected drop in temperature. The cold was unnaturally chilling for summer. His breath formed small clouds in front of him as he looked around, perplexed by the abnormality.

His eyes darted to both sides of the corridor, but there was no one in sight. The eerie feeling of dread intensified as he continued to walk. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a figure several meters away. It was about three meters tall, levitating in the air, and shrouded in a tattered black cloak. Draco's heart pounded in his chest as fear gripped him.

The figure drew closer, and Draco's dread deepened. Instead of eyes, the figure had a strange, translucent membrane where its eyes should be, and its mouth was nothing more than an open, gaping hole. It was unmistakably a Dementor, a creature that fed on happiness. Draco's feet felt like they were encased in ice as he stood frozen in place. He could feel the warmth draining from his surroundings, and a profound sense of hopelessness washed over him. His mind screamed at him to run, to flee but his body wouldn't respond. He was entirely at the mercy of the Dementor.

In the distance, he heard faint footsteps approaching. His breathing was labored, and cold sweat clung to his skin, his vision blurred, and the last thing he heard was a voice shouting, "Expecto Patronum!" and everything went dark.

Narcissa's voice echoed with anger in the infirmary as she demanded an explanation. "Can someone explain to me what the fuck a Dementor was doing wandering around Hogwarts?"

Lily, equally concerned and furious, chimed in, "I'd like to know too. Because of that Dementor, my godson is now in the infirmary. If it weren't for Remus, he might have been dead."

Draco stirred in his hospital bed, his body aching as he slowly regained consciousness. He attempted to sit up but winced in pain.

"Careful," A soothing voice broke through the haze, and Draco turned his head to find Mia standing beside him. She looked at him with concern as she handed him a glass of water.

Confused and in pain, Draco asked, "Mia, what are you doing here?"

Mia couldn't help but be amused by his disheveled state and replied teasingly, "Draco, if you wanted to see me so badly, you didn't have to end up in the infirmary. A letter would have sufficed."

Draco's face turned a shade of red as Mia's words caught him off , her playful demeanor softening, took his hand and asked gently, "How are you feeling, Draco?"

Draco managed a weak smile and replied, "I'm fine, just a bit shaken."

Mia nodded in understanding and assured him, "That's normal after facing a Dementor."

Curiosity getting the better of him, Draco asked, "Who saved me?"

Mia replied, "Professor Lupin."

Draco furrowed his brow, remembering the bright blue light he had seen before losing consciousness. "What was that blue light?"

Mia explained, "That blue light was a Patronus. It's what scares away Dementors."

To demonstrate, Mia withdrew her wand and, with a graceful flick, conjured a Patronus. A direwolf emerged from her wand and playfully circled Draco.

Draco's eyes widened in amazement as he asked, "How did you do that?"

Mia, still smiling, explained, "To conjure a Patronus, you have to clear your mind and focus on a memory that truly makes you happy. The strength of the memory determines the strength of the Patronus."

Draco inquired, "Can you choose what form your Patronus takes?"

Mia replied, "It's quite an advanced spell, and very few can achieve a corporeal Patronus."

Draco then asked the question that had been on his mind, "When am I going to learn to cast one?"

Mia laughed and replied, "You've got a long way to go, Draco. At Hogwarts, you learn it in your seventh year."

Draco grumbled, "You're in your third year and already know it."

Mia ruffled his hair affectionately and teased, "Things work differently at Durmstrang."

Draco's face brightened with hope as he asked, "Can I go to Durmstrang with you?"

Mia chuckled, but her tone turned serious as she responded, "I don't think my godmother and my brother would find that amusing, Draco."

Changing the subject, Draco queried, "What were you thinking of when you conjured your Patronus?"

Mia admitted, "I was thinking of Jace and Theo."

Draco asked eagerly, "Could you teach me?"

Mia considered it and told him, "I'll think about it."

Just then, Lily and Narcissa drew back the curtain, their expressions filled with concern. Draco's cheeks turned even redder as Mia gave him a kiss on the cheek and handed him a piece of chocolate.

"I'll see you in a month,Draco. Try not to end up in the infirmary again" Mia smiled.

As Mia left, Draco couldn't help but complain weekly, but he didn't voice his thoughts. He was left alone with his mother and godmother, who were both looking at him with identical, unsettling smirks.

Narcissa and Lily exchanged knowing glances, their eyes landing on Draco simultaneously. They couldn't contain their amusement and let out simultaneous squeals. "You like Mia!" "You like my daughter!"

Draco's face turned an even deeper shade of red as he stammered, "No, it's not true!"

Lily leaned closer, teasing him with a playful grin, "Oh, come on, Draco. You like my daughter. This is priceless! Imagine James' face when he finds out someone has a little crush on his princess."

Draco, knowing how possessive and protective his Uncle James was of Mia, pleaded with his godmother, "Please, don't tell him. He'll kill me"

Narcissa, joining in on the teasing, chimed in, "So you admit that you like her?"

Fidgeting uncomfortably, Draco scratched his neck and mumbled, "Well, maybe I like her a little."

Lily affectionately told him, "I think it's so freaking adorable that you like my daughter."

Narcissa playfully added, "I can already hear the wedding bells!"

Draco quickly protested, "We're still too young for that! Besides, Mia is two years older than me, and she has a boyfriend!"

Lily chuckled, "You know, your uncle James fell in love with me in our second year, and he swore that we'd end up getting married. Look at us now, happily married with two kids."

Narcissa, feigning innocence, asked Draco, "So, how do you know Mia has a boyfriend?"

Jealousy seeping into his tone, Draco grumbled, "It's Jace, of course."

Lily was about to interject, wanting to clarify that they weren't dating, but Narcissa stopped her, enjoying Draco's jealousy. She whispered to Lily, "Let him squirm a bit. It's quite entertaining to see Draco jealous of Mia's best friend."

Draco, eager to change the subject, turned to his mother and inquired, "Where's Father?"

Narcissa explained, "Your father and your uncle Regulus are at the Ministry right now, demanding the removal of the Dementors from Hogwarts and requesting that Aurors be stationed here to prevent what happened to you from occurring again."

Lily placed a comforting hand on Draco's shoulder and added, "Your Uncle James and Sirius are currently in a discussion with Dumbledore in his office. They'll come to see you later."

Curious about the Dementors, Draco asked, "Why were there Dementors at Hogwarts?"

Lily replied, "After several Death Eaters escaped from Azkaban, the Ministry sent Dementors to Hogwarts as a precaution. They wanted to ensure that Barty Crouch or any of his associates didn't make their way here."

Perplexed, Draco questioned, "Why would Barty be at Hogwarts?"

Narcissa disclosed, "The roses from Godric's Hollow were left by Evan, Mia's uncle. Evan was the one who had kidnapped Mia."

Concern etched across his face, Draco anxiously questioned, "Is Mia in danger?"

Lily assured him, "Mia is safe. Don't worry"

Seeking more answers, Draco inquired, "What does Barty have to do with Mia's uncle?"

Narcissa explained, "Barty and Evan were friends at Hogwarts, and Barty took Evan's death very personally. Now, Barty is seeking revenge for Evan's death."

Anxiously, Draco asked, "Is there going to be a war? The Daily Prophet says there could be onne"

Lily tried to ease his concerns, explaining, "Your uncle James and the Aurors are doing everything they can to prevent it."

Draco protested, recalling Mia's kidnapping during the last magical war, "But Mia was kidnapped during the last war. It could happen again."

Narcissa soothingly told him, "That won't happen. Many people are ensuring Mia's safety. She's also a remarkable young witch who can take care of herself"

Suddenly, Draco blurted out, "Can I transfer from Hogwarts to Durmstrang?"

Narcissa chuckled at the unexpected request. "Where did that idea come from?"

Draco explained, "Mia knows how to cast a Patronus, and I want to learn too."

Lily pointed out, "Harry probably wouldn't be thrilled if you left."

Draco exclaimed, "Harry can come with me!"

Narcissa wondered, "Have you tried asking Mia if she could teach you how to cast a Patronus."

Draco nodded and shared, "Mia said she would think about it."

Lily smiled and said, "Well, there's your answer."

Narcissa added with a wink, "I'm sure you'll find a way to convince Mia."

Lily suggested, "If it doesn't work out, you can always talk to Harry. He'll probably convince Mia."

Draco agreed, "You're right. Mia never refuses anything when Harry is involved."

Draco left the infirmary later that afternoon, heading to the Quidditch pitch to clear his head. The setting sun cast a warm glow over Black Lake, creating a breathtaking sight. As the last rays of sunlight kissed his face, Draco closed his eyes and relished the gentle breeze rustling through his hair. The scent of the grass in the field added to the tranquil atmosphere, and he couldn't help but feel at peace. Flying was the ultimate source of solace for Draco.

A voice interrupted his reverie, asking, "Following my sister's advice?"

Draco opened his eyes and found Harry on his own broom, hovering nearby.

Smiling, Draco replied, "Your sister gives good advice."

Curious about how Draco was doing after the Dementor attack, Harry asked, "So, how are you feeling?"

Draco assured him, "I'm feeling better, thanks. Mia gave me a chocolate bar."

Surprised that Mia had come to Hogwarts, Harry inquired, "My sister was here?"

Draco nodded and told him, "Yeah, she was here when I woke up, and we talked for a while."

Harry pouted, "But she didn't come to greet me. Anyway, what did you guys talk about?"

Draco explained, "We talked about Patronuses," and inquired, "Do you know what they are?"

Harry nodded and said, "Yes, my father's Patronus is a stag, and they're used to scare away Dementors."

"You know your sister can cast one?" Draco asked.

Curious about Mia's Patronus, Harry asked, "Mia can cast one?"

Draco revealed, "Mia's Patronus is a direwolf."

Harry exclaimed in amazement, "Very few people can conjure a corporeal Patronus," and asked, "How did Mia learn to do it? At Hogwarts, we only learn it in our last year."

Draco explained, "Mia said things are different at Durmstrang. She's already things we only learn at Hogwarts from the fifth year and up. It's unfair"

Intrigued by the idea of learning to conjure a Patronus, Harry wondered aloud, "Do you think Mia could teach us?"

Draco suggested, "You should ask her."

Harry pouted, "Why me? You could also ask."

"You're her younger brother, she can't say no to you." Draco reminded Harry.

Harry laughed, agreeing, "That's true," and turned his broom around. He challenged Draco to a race, saying, "Come on, let's see who's faster!"

As he watched Harry fly away, Draco couldn't help but smile, eagerly looking forward to the summer when he would see Mia again.
