Eight hours earlier

Watts, Jacques, Tyrian, the Jokers, and a figure clad in black were waiting and watching in the office that Watts had claimed for himself.

They were waiting and watching for their targets.

Luckily, they didn't have to wait long. Their targets showed up and they waited, some more impatiently than others. Watts glared at one of the Jokers, the younger of the two.

The Joker waved.

'At least he's being quiet.' Watts thought.

As if he'd heard his thoughts the Joker spoke. "Anyone know a good joke?"

The older Joker hit him. "Don't you know were supposed to be quiet, so the kid doesn't hear us?" he asked in an annoyed Sinsboro accent.

"But where's the fun in that?"

Watts just rolled his eyes.

They waited thirty minutes before they ran for the building. Watts tossed a device to the black-clad figure and nodded. Together they kicked the door open and threw the devices into the building before they ducked to the side and waited three seconds before they exploded, and their group ran inside.

Watts ran towards Weiss Schnee and gripped her arm with his hand full of elemental rings and shocked her with the Lightning Dust ring on his left ring finger. He watched as her body spasmed from the current coursing through it.

Jacques ran into the room, wearing a gauntlet that Watts had given him, and hit Jason.

The gauntlet increased gravity around it until it was enough to knock him out.

The Jokers and the figure clad in black knocked the others unconscious in a matter of moments. There was no sport when their opponents were blind and deaf.

"That wasn't fun." The younger Joker said. He changed his crowbar to a branding iron and placed a fire Dust Crystal into the cartridge and stabbed the white hot letter J into one of their opponents.

Taking it off, the wound healed. "Well, that's not fair at all." He moved to try branding someone else, but the black clad figure grabbed the branding iron.

"Just do your job." Watts said. "If you wake that... thing up it will kill us all and we can't have that."

"Fine."

Watts grabbed Weiss and carried her across the street while Jacques ordered the figure clad in black to grab Jason and follow him to the mines.

The figure clad in black walked to several of the vagrants and placed his hand over them before something seemed to disappear inside them.

When it was finished it walked over to Jason and picked him up. It followed Jacques to the mines and strung Jason up with chains that had gravity Dust fused into them so that Jason would be held in place.

The chains were also connected to a Lightning Dust generator.

After which the figure left to help the Jokers.

Jacques looked at Jason and shocked him awake causing him to soil himself.

The Jokers grabbed the others and took them to a warehouse where they placed them on a platform and tied them down to it. A few of them were shaking due to the Nightmares.

The black clad figure showed up and the Jokers left the warehouse. The figure threw a switch on the power box and changed its body to fit wings before flying outside.

Once outside they waited.

"So?" The younger Joker said. "Anyone know a good joke?"

The older Joker sighed while the black clad figure stayed stoically quiet.

Eight hours later

Weiss followed Jason to a large Warehouse on the far side of Mantle. It was dark grey with snow covering the top and the sides that the Dust Heaters didn't cover. They saw four people guarding the warehouse, two were pasty white and looked familiar, one looked sickly and was definitely familiar, and the fourth was a dark skinned Faunus wearing battle gear.

"I'll distract these four, you sneak inside, and get the others out," Jason said with a puff of vapor from his mouth.

"Okay." Weiss agreed, slipping into her shadow and hoping for the best. She knew that Jason would do his job, so she needed to do hers.

Jason created an army of shadow clones and walked towards the four.

The Faunus looked in his direction and walked away. As if that would save them from Jason's wrath. Unless they were being blackmailed. That was their only way out of here alive.

"Lookie what we have here," One of the pasty men said. Jason realized he looked like an older version of Joker.

"Fresh meat for the grill," A second pasty man who looked like Joker said before he devolved into bouts of laughter.

"You two Look like Someone I killed a few months ago,"

"Yeah," the older Joker said. "Fuck you. We need to find a new replacement. Do you have any idea how hard that's going to be?"

"Why not spray paint Tyrian pasty white?" Jason asked. "Or do you have a rule about the kind of crazy you want? I wouldn't think so because of chuckles the ass clown over there, but maybe I'm wrong."

"I'm going to make you pay for ripping off my tail!" Tyrian shouted, striking at Jason with a new mechanical tail.

Jason caught it by the shadow and grabbed it with one hand. "Oh, you got a new asshole. Good job buddy. I knew you could do it. Now you won't die from not being able to shit." Jason's expression turned to that of burning hatred. "You're going to die because I'm going to kill you for taking my friends and family, and letting Weiss get hurt." He threw the mechanical tail back at Tyrian so fast that no one could stop it. Tyrian looked down to see the stinger sticking out of his chest," "Well fuck." Tyrian said before Jason watched the poison inject into Tyrians body.

"Whoa," Chuckles said. "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." Before cackling.

"Your friend gave me trouble," Jason told the other Jokers. "But I've gotten stronger since then." His Shadow Clones shot out and covered the area before Jason charged.

Weiss ran to the warehouse and ducked inside. She could hear high power electricity. Looking down she saw a grate that had been electrified.

Looking across the Warehouse she saw their friends on a raised portion of metal. If she stepped on the grate, it would electrocute her and push the other end up electrocuting their friends.

She gripped 'Myrtenaster' and stabbed it into the ground creating a glide Glyph.

Gliding across the floor she reached her friends and looked at them. Coral, Sun, Summer, Nora, Pardus, Logan, and Creed looked like they were stuck in a nightmare, their eyes rolling around and bulging while they shook.

Loki was shivering and sweating. She looked sick. Weiss pulled Yang onto the glide Glyph and floated her out of the Warehouse before going back for Ruby and Oscar.

Next, she pulled Loki onto the Glyph and took her outside where she puked. "Coral..." she gasped. "... nightmare..." she puked again. "... Grimm."

Weiss watched Loki curl into the fetal position, and sob, thankfully out of way of her bile.

Weiss went back inside and pulled Nora out, but Nora grabbed her and glared at her with pleading eyes. "I told you to stay away from my man!" She roared, throwing Weiss across the building.

A shadow appeared and caught her, dropping her back onto safe land. She'd have to be careful how she handled this. One wrong move and she'd get hurt.

Her soul sang as if telling her that he wouldn't let her get hurt.

She looked at Nora who stepped onto the floor and shocked herself, making herself stronger.

"NORA NO!" Weiss shouted, opening a Portal where the shadow arms grabbed Nora and threw her outside.

Weiss looked back at the others and was about to create another gliding Glyph when she felt agony well up inside her soul. "JASON!" she shouted, grabbing her cheek.

Jason jumped out of a shadow clone and delivered an axe kick into the older Joker who let his Aura tank the hit before shooting at Jason with a Thompson Machine Gun that he changed to a crowbar that he used to bat Jason away.

Jason fell into a shadow clone and popped out behind the younger Joker who swung a branding iron at him.

Jason jumped out of the way and delivered a kick into his balls that sent him flying over Jason and into the ground for a face full of concrete.

Jason stalked towards the older Joker and caught his twin heated blade halberds as they were shot from the ground.

He ran at Joker and caught his Thompson Machine gun in the hooked blades and pulled with enraged strength only enhanced by Venom and broke the Machine Gun before he ran Joker through and pulled the blades apart, cutting through Jokers spine and cutting him in half. "That; is for ruining my wedding!" He snarled.

The next second Jason felt pain that burned through to his soul, burn his cheek under his left eye.

Dropping the heated blade halberds, he grabbed his face as pain he couldn't stop burned his soul. Screaming in agony, he fell to the floor as his aura flickered and he felt cold, so very cold.

He wrapped his arms around himself to try and conserve warmth.

"Do you like my Semblance?" Joker asked. "It's called Bad Reception. It allows me to target someone's soul! Hurts like a bitch, doesn't it?" Lightning flashed as Joker cackled a cruel and sadistic laugh.

Weiss held her hand to her cheek, gasping as she tried catching her breath.

Inside she could feel her child struggling, squirming around inside her, causing her to feel sick. She puked onto the floor and looked around. Was she feeling pain because her and Jason's souls were connected? She felt the child inside her quiet and felt calm soothing Aura flow through her body, protecting her from Jason's pain, cutting it off so she could focus.

Standing she realized that Nora was charging her.

She stabbed 'Myrtenaster' into the ground and the arms grabbed Nora, holding her in the air so she couldn't hurt herself or Weiss.

Weiss leaned on 'Myrtenaster' to catch her breath.

"Thank you," she said, Patting her stomach. "Without you who knows what would have happened."

She caught her breath and went back to getting the others outside and out of harm's way.

The crowbar came down and struck him. It hurt, he hadn't felt this kind of pain since his time on the street, but not like the first ten times. The pain was beginning to dull, and if he was admitting to being in pain, then he was in pain, not by much though. The crowbar struck again. It was as if the madman was reading his thoughts and began hitting him harder.

Then the Joker hit him in the face. "WOW. That looked like it really hurt." Then the Joker hit him three more times and savored every hit like it was a cheese sample. "Whoa, now hold on. That looked like it hurt a lot more. So, let's try and clear it up shall we pumpkin. What hurts more? A?" The Joker hit him again. "Or B?" And he was hit a second time by the Joker. "Forehand?" The Joker hit him a third time. "Or backhand." The Joker hit him again and began laughing his sadistic laugh.

Jason murmured something. The Joker leaned down and spoke. "A little louder lamb chop. I think that one of your lungs has collapsed. That tends to always impede the oratory." Jason spit blood up at the Joker. The Joker returned the favor by slamming his face into the floor. "Now that was rude." Jason smiled even though it hurt. The Joker wiped the blood off of his face. "I suppose that I'll have to teach you some manners." The Joker contemplated that for a bit. Then said. "Nah... I think that I'll just keep hitting you with this crowbar." Then the Joker laughed as he hit Jason repeatedly with the crowbar. Jason closed his eyes and wished for the strength to kill this bastard.

After a while the Joker got tired of beating Jason with the crowbar. He looked at Jason and spoke. "Okay kiddo I have to go, but it was fun right?" Jason stayed silent. "Well maybe a bit more fun for me than you. I'm just making guesses since your being so quiet and all. Oh well. Be a good boy, get your homework done, and be in bed by nine. Oh, and don't worry. I'll tell that little whore you said... hello." The Joker began laughing hysterically and began walking away.

Jason's Aura came back, and Jason disappeared into his shadow, popped out of Jokers shadow and axe kicked Joker with a booster powered kick that cut the bastard in half.

Jason staggered to his feet, groaning as his Aura failed again and tried walking only to fall down. "See you in hell mother fucker." He gasped out. "Last one there wins."

Jason pushed himself up and staggered towards the warehouse when he was tackled to the ground and punched with a punch that made Scott's look like a love tap.

Looking up he saw the Faunus, only to realize that it wasn't a Faunus at all...

It was a Grimm.

Weiss looked around the Warehouse and realized that she needed to cut off the power.

She directed the arms to grab the others and move them outside before she summoned a Beowulf and had it rip and tear at the power box plunging the warehouse into darkness.

As she did, a figure was thrown through the wall, and she saw his Aura flicker. "JASON!"

"No!" Jason mumbled. "Get out of here! It's a Grimm!"

Jason's Aura flickered again, and Weiss felt herself drop into a shadow and moved outside to safety, but got a glimpse of a bipedal, humanoid Grimm.

She landed outside on the concrete and rolled, keeping her Aura focused on her stomach to protect the baby. She looked inside and watched, frozen in terror as Jason and the Grimm seemed to fight for only five minutes before Jason looked towards her and mouthed something that she knew in her soul was: 'I'm sorry. I love you. Protect Frost.'

There was a terrible creaking sound as the Warehouse creaked and cracked and came crashing down around Jason and the Grimm.

"JASON!" Weiss cried out in Agony as she felt Jason's soul flicker before finally winking out of existence.
