Here it is Chapter 9 and now Penn Zero and his friends will join the battle in earth 5.
Chapter 9: The End Is Near
Earth 2: Middleburg

Do you ever have the impression that you expect to do something when you wake up each morning or that you commit yourself to a job that has enriched your life in so many ways that it is difficult to conceive doing it any other way? Penn Zero has been feeling that way lately, and he is still feeling that way right now. A curly-haired teen was deep asleep in the Zero household as the sun rose over the quaint town of Middleburg, birds were chirping, water sprinklers were put on, and people were getting set to start a brand new day. However, his alarm clock suddenly went off and woke him up. He yawned and turned it off, muttering, "Ugh." The former occasional hero changed into his regular clothing and headed downstairs where he was met by his parents, Brock and Vonnie.
Vonnie placed down a tray of food with a smile on her face, "Good morning, sweetie." I made your favorite, so it's nice to see you out and about.
Penn sat down and said, "Thanks, mom." He questioned his father, "Hey Dad, I noticed you're not sleeping in on the couch this time. What's the occasion?"
That shouldn't be a question, Brock chuckled. He thought back to the time he and Vonnie were trapped in the Most Dangerous World Imaginable, "What? I can't enjoy a morning with my wife and son, especially since this is the first one in a long while."
Vonnie asked, "So Penn, what do you have planned for after school?"
Penn finished eating his breakfast before responding. There isn't much going on other than the fact that Sashi, Boone, and I are planning to sign up to volunteer at an animal shelter.
His father made a good-natured chuckle as he raised his head. A true zero would say, "Ha ha! Still trying to be a hero, huh?
Penn laughed, "It's just volunteer work you guys." He grinned a little at the memories, "It's definitely not fighting robots, guarding an underwater metropolis, or being a plant detective, that's for sure.
Even so, Brock informed him, "Even the smallest deed of selflessness can make someone a hero, even if it's not as big as the stuff we used to do, then that should be good enough." Heck, when we were younger, your mother and I gave our time at a soup kitchen.
His mother swooned, "It makes us so proud."
Penn was starting to look a little down, so Vonnie put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. Give it some time, honey; your next adventure might arrive sooner than you expect. "We know it's been difficult adjusting back to a perfectly normal life and not zapping into other planets.
He said goodbye to their new robotic occupant as well. "Thanks, mom. Well, I better get to school, the new principal isn't as laid-back as Larry was. Bye guys, see ya Derek."
After giving his mother's advice some thought, Penn stepped outside and started walking to school. She had no idea how accurate she was, but it has been difficult for Penn to stop being a part-time hero. It was a huge job that required the bravest of hearts to keep the multiverse in balance and ensure that good and evil were on equal footing. Penn couldn't imagine a life without Phylis having hired him. Because Phylis and Phil became one and took control of the theater and the fish stick stand—the only locations with multiversal travel technology—after finally being able to travel to the Most Dangerous World Imaginable and save his parents—that period of his life is over, and there is no longer a need for sidekick heroes and villains. Since being a hero gave his life meaning, Penn truly missed it and was at a loss for what to do in its absence.
Hello, Penn.
Of course, that didn't imply nothing positive resulted from it.
She was his age and of Japanese origin, and the red-haired kid grinned as soon as he spotted her. Although he kind of missed the ponytails, Sashi Kobayashi, his current girlfriend and former part-time sidekick, had short, dark brown hair with violet at the ends that was still as stunning as he recalled. Sashi Kobayashi was his former sidekick on occasion. She was intense and without a doubt the toughest and sharpest person he knew, so it was difficult to conceive that a guy like him would date her. They initially got along as friends, but their connection deepened before they ever shared their first kiss. Hey, he wasn't complaining. Penn greeted her by putting his arm around her, which she reciprocated. The couple walked to school together. "So, maybe we could go to a new restaurant that just opened up after the whole volunteering thing is done."
Sashi pretended to be doubtful, "I don't know." "My parents anticipate me being home by 8 o'clock."
Penn's eyes grew wide. He stopped as he noticed the playful grin she was giving her lover, "Oh, um, you sure I can't convince them? If they're worried about me taking you somewhere far, I can say that it's in Middleburg, not from your apartment and-" He deadpanned, "You're messing with me, aren't you?"
He received a lighthearted shoulder punch from Sashi, which was all the response he required. "PZ can frighten you too easily," you said.
Boone Wiseman, a chubby kid wearing a cap and flip-flop shoes, who had previously served as their best buddy and occasional wise man, greeted them with "Hey guys!" I'm sorry we didn't get together sooner, Karen the bear just ate another pair of my flip flops.
As the three buddies proceeded to their high school, Penn stated, "It's cool Boone, at least you're here now." When they got there, they started going to their art lesson, which had been postponed until now because it had taken so long to locate a new art teacher. He added, "By the way guys, do any of you know who's gonna fill in for Rippen now that he's living in another dimension?"
No, said Sashi. Actually, I'm hoping that this one won't have a tail.
Mr. Egsgard's unenthusiastic voice welcomed the teenagers with, "Good morning, class." The answer is that Mr. Rippen retired from teaching art, which I can completely understand, and our new yet completely cheap principal appointed me as both a gym and an art teacher, which is so wonderful, he said in a dry tone.
Penn muttered to Sashi, who laughed, "At least with him, he won't grade us based on how we humiliate him." The rest of class went by without incident, but without Rippen keeping a close eye on them or Larry dropping things just for fun, it just wasn't the same. Before long, the school day was over, and after lunch, the three closest friends left for the animal shelter. "So guys, are you ready to take care of the animals? I know you don't really like owls, Boone."
Boone folded his arms and said, "Which is totally justifiable, they're nothing but lazy, inconsiderate jerks."
Sashi rolled her eyes in disgust at her friend's moronic actions. "That was an anthropomorphic owl, and owls don't venture outside during the day or live in aviaries."
A part of Penn expected his friends to change their plans and head there instead, so they could have another one of their fantastic adventures in one of the many worlds that exist in the entire multiverse, while also saving the day and defeating the bad guy. Instead, Penn zoned out the argument between his friends as they walked past the site of the Odyssey. Of course, that wasn't going to happen any time soon, and once more he realized how much he missed acting as the protagonist in each story. He truly appreciated it and wondered if his pals felt the same way. It made him feel special. They turned to face him when he said, "Hey guys." "Do you still long to be occasional heroes?"
Boone grinned, giving them strange looks, "I miss going to the worlds where I dress as a lady." "Okay, Supreme Court, whatever.
"I admit, not crushing the skulls of actual skeletons and helping you save the day has been a big change for me, but I actually learned to accept this normal life, it does have its perks," Sashi said, leaning in closer to her boyfriend.
As in what?"
Sashi joined their hands together. She said with a kind smile, "Like us."
The three of them noticed that something was flashing in the empty place where the theater had previously been located; it was the same blue flash that would strike them whenever they were zapped. Penn smiled back, but then something strange started to happen. They were all struck and confined in a blue sphere before any of them could even respond. Penn yelled in horror, "Woah!" as he and his companions vanished without a trace.
The sphere materialized in the empty area and freed its prisoners. They took a moment to gather themselves because the transfer's effects made them feel a little lightheaded. Boone scratched his head and asked, "Okay, what just happened?"
Sashi motioned to the space nebula they were in, saying, "Guys, you might wanna look around." They had been to space before, and had seen many different nebulas, but this one was so stunning in its variety of colors that even they were astounded to be there.
In wonder, Penn exhaled, "Woah." We ask ourselves, "Where are we?"
He responded with a brand-new voice. Bunnix entered, "I think I can answer your question," he said.
Clockwork also emerged, this time in his adult form, and said, "Greetings."
Sashi assumed a combat stance out of pure instinct. Sashi questioned, ready to knock a few heads if necessary: "Who are you guys? What do you want?"
As he and his fellow Gods materialized in front of them, making their eyes go wide at the sheer magnitude of these beings, Odin roared, "There is no need for violence, child. We do not intend to hurt you.
The three young people were approached by Paradox in a cordial way. He held out his bag and greeted everyone, saying, "I believe introductions are in order. You may call me Professor Paradox, time traveler and scientist, would anyone like a gumball?"
Boone grinned and raised his hand, drawing the attention of his companions. He defended himself, "He offered." The professor was content to comply with him, though. "Ooh, cherry flavor. My favorite, aside from lima beans, mango, apple, banana, and pickles. Vanilla, too, but only when mixed with chocolate, adds way more flavor. Seriously, your taste buds will-"
Clockwork made a throat clearing motion to catch their attention. He looked at them and said, "As much as I'd like to talk about our eating habits, there's something important we need to talk about that requires the three of you. I'm Clockwork, master of time, and those are the three gods, Odin, Ra, and Rama." He raised his staff to project images of Penn Zero, Sashi Kobayashi, and Boone Wiseman's exploits in Superhero World, Plant World, Ocean World, etc. "My colleagues and I have noticed your accomplishments as part-time heroes, doing everything you can to maintain the balance of all the worlds, taking the place of the heroes that are otherwise not available, we've seen it all.
Penn lifted an eyebrow, "Really?" "Who?"
The three teenagers were all shocked when the Guardian suddenly appeared and said, "Me." Considering the previous encounter, they had never anticipated seeing the cosmic creature again. The space gorilla then started to split into two different creatures that eventually took the familiar shapes of Phylis and Phil, saying, "Hello, my friends. It has been a while."
They were startled to see their former boss once more and cried, "Phylis!"
The Slavic woman smiled neutrally, "Hello Penn Zero, Sashi, and Boone. Good to see your human faces."
She was immediately embraced by the trio in a bear hug. Penn exclaimed joyfully, "I can't believe it, it's actually you.
Phil scowled, "What am I? Chopped liver on a stick?"
As the group hug disintegrated, his female counterpart reprimanded him, saying, "This is not about you Phil." Now, as Clockwork warned, there is a serious issue that jeopardizes the stability of the entire multiverse. A number of heroes from other dimensions were sent to an alternate Earth to try and confront it, but they need assistance—your assistance, to be precise.
Penn looked perplexed at her. He remembered saying, "But I thought you said there wasn't a need for part-time heroes anymore."
Only because there wasn't a balance danger, Phylis answered. "The threat in consideration may be the most lethal, blood thirstiest, most cunning beings that have been robbing other worlds since the beginning of time. I am aware that you three have dull, everyday lives now, but the time has come for you all to be more than just occasional heroes. By saving the planets and maintaining the balance, you are not replacing Penn Zero as the protagonist of another story, but rather creating your own. Phylis informed them in the most serious voice she had ever used, "You must be full-time heroes. You will not be alone; there are other heroes battling; work with them and save the world once more. If you don't have anything better to do, that is. So, kids, what do you say?"
I am aware that you three have dull, everyday lives now, but the time has come for you all to be more than just occasional heroes. She grinned as they made their choice. As Phylis and Phil's eyes began to light blue and two blue beams encircled the group, Phylis stated, "Good, now prepare yourselves." They soon noticed that they had been given their battle armors from their expedition into the Most Dangerous World Imaginable, and even Sashi received a new pair of SPECS glasses. Phylis said, "Phylis figured you might as well be dressed for the occasion, I've included upgrades to battle armors for extra firepower, any more info is in the Specs. Penn, your Triangulator can now transport you and friends to other Earth. Good Luck, heroes."
When Penn tapped the button on his chest, a doorway appeared from it. They gave each other a nod as they leaped inside the portal.
Phil said, drawing glares from the others, "Give them 5 minutes to be destroyed." "What?"
Earth 5: Sherman
The Titan trio activated their armors and flew off to deal with this menace as soon as the Novatron leader concluded his proclamation, Solomon calling in G3 headquarters to scramble to their location in order to give their invaders a thorough reaction. The current turn of events scared the Galalunians in their minds because they had not encountered a force like this since the Mutraddi invasion of Galaluna, which had forced them to leave their home planet.
Lance and Ilana have previously witnessed one home completely destroy all they hold dear, and they would sooner die than witness it again. In contrast, Octus is always ready to battle beside his pals, no matter what. Octus said to them, "I've estimated their numbers." We will need to use all available weapons to fend them off because they are a huge force.
Lance said over the coms, "Solomon." Are any of your troops already here?
They just arrived, and I'll send in fighter pilots to help you three, along with ground troops.
Ilana replied, "Copy that." Good fortune.
To us all, please.
They were left on their own with their thoughts once Solomon cut off the connection. The princess of Galaluna called out, "Lance, Octus." I want you all to know if anything happens.
Ilana was about to say something, and Lance cautioned her, "Don't even start. Now isn't the time for that kind of talk, mostly because he didn't want to even think about it." The corporal continued with resolve, "I know things look awful, but we can't start doubting ourselves now. The three of us have been through worse, and no matter how strong these people may be, we know when it comes down to it, Titan will put them in their place.
Octus responded, "Agreed." "The combined efforts of the three of us have been what we have always relied on."
However, I have a question: Who is Ben Tennyson, and what is an omnitrix?"When the leader described Ben Tennyson's name and the omnitrix device, Ilana, who had never heard the name before, responded.
Lance replied, "I don't know, but right now we have to deal with them."
Yes. heart, mind, and body. She and her pals are great examples of the three qualities that her father instilled in her from the days she was a young girl and that are necessary for a swift win. Ilana was the team's lifeblood; she was an outstanding individual with a fiery spirit and a compassionate nature. She was their savior anytime a black cloud threatened to overtake them. Since he could remember, Lance has depended on his inherent strength and determination to succeed in order to overcome obstacles. Octus was a robot, but he possessed a special intellect that made him more than just a machine and allowed him to feel real emotions.
Will it be sufficient to halt the invasion, though?
Ilana pointed to the five enormous cube-like constructions that surfaced soon after the invasion force landed and said, "Hey Octus, can you tell us about those cubes?"
Octus attempted to read them, but received no response. "Hmm, it seems like there's a jamming field that prevents us from figuring out what's inside."
As they came to a stop directly in front of the ships, Lance told them, "We can't worry about that right now.
Then Ilana noticed something—two of the ships had split off from the others and were headed in different directions—one to the city and the other to a forested area.
Ben stated, astonished, that the leader is aware of his presence and wants the omnitrix, "He wants the omnitrix."
Marinette screamed at the top of her lungs, "The Leader wants Ben."
Ben continued, "And now if I don't surrender he'll blow the whole planet up which means this is war."
Jenny shook her head in agreement, "I hear that."
Kim said, "But this is a major issue. He's prepared to destroy the entire world if Ben doesn't give himself to the emperor.
Ninja regarded her with skepticism. You're not really thinking about giving up on Ben, are you?
He lowered his arms, Adrien. Absolutely not. I will not vote in favor of that.
Ron massaged his scalp. The martial arts master recalled, "Maybe, he did say that he'll leave the planet alone if Ben does what he says."
Ron, you have a good point, Jack said. With all the encounters he's had with Aku, Jack was no stranger to empty promises: "But I know his type, he promises that he will leave this world in peace as long as Ben comply with his orders of surrender, but I can promise you that as soon as Ben no longer a threat to his plans, he will continue in destroying this world and all the innocent lives."
Ben told them, "Guys, I'm gonna have to side with Jack on this one." He reminded them, "We don't know if that Zone guy is a man of his word, and even if I do surrender, he's still going to wipe out this city." It was a hazardous move, but it just wasn't in Ben's nature to just give in to a bad guy's demand. "I know we just met, but I think I speak for all of us when I say we can't just let them do what they want, someone has to stop them." However, a light shone on them before they could make a choice. When they looked up, they noticed a ship hovering above them. A force field emanating from the ship encircled and imprisoned the heroes.
Ninja sneered as he attempted to escape by slicing, while Danny fired a beam, but none of their strikes appeared to have any impact. "Hey, what's the big idea?!" Ninja said.
The drop ship's pilot yelled, "Ben Tennyson!" You will be seized and taken to our homeworld to face punishment, while our forces deal with your worlds and those of your friends, by order of our noble emperor, who has proven you guilty of your crimes against our people.
Ben averted his eyes. wait a second I didn't even respond to you.
Jenny said to Ben, "I guess you were right about them being stealthy.
He said, "Something I truly detest right now.
Now that they were in custody, who could rescue them?
Focusing on the other group, they had also heard the leader's message and were not happy with what he had planned for them and the world. Marco, though, was more focused on maintaining his blood pressure. He said, "THIS IS CRAZY! THIS IS CRAZY!" We're stuck on another Earth, which is bad enough, but now the leader has captured us and is going to hack off our heads because he wants to see this Ben Tennyson guy.
Rex motioned for him to relax, "Dude, calm down." "This is the worst possible time to be hysterical."
Marco argued, "It's the perfect time to be hysterical!" How are we meant to defeat such an army?
Max made the decision to make the boy's concerns go away. He said, "Marco, you're right, we're horribly outnumbered and may not stand a chance, but this isn't the first invasion Steel and I have had to deal with."
Steel nodded. He pointed to the Novatron that they had previously fought, saying, "It's true, and need I remind you how we all took these chumps down?" Of course there is a 45.3% possibility that we will all perish, but who cares about statistics, right?
Although I'm not particularly skilled at dealing with alien invasions, Zak said, "I know when we need to fight, and this is one of those times."
Star, who was one of Marco's closest friends, made the decision to attempt to calm him down. She gave him the puppy dog smile while her heart markings lit up, saying, "Marco, I'm afraid like you, but we have to stop these Novatron creeps. Will you at least fight for me?" Even when she gave him that look, Marco could never refuse his best buddy.
Manny exclaimed enthusiastically, "Well you can do whatever you want amigo, I on the other hand, am so in with fighting them!"
Ashi listened to their discourse with basically silence. She was adamant about getting to her beloved, but the threat these Novatrons posed was severe. She felt the need to stop them now, but she questioned whether these kids had the strength to fight back in the same manner she does. It was a hard existence, but it taught her how to survive and how to fight. She was taught from birth to fight until the very end, without pity and without failure. But then she recalled Jack's decision to take up arms against Aku's wickedness and stand up for the defenseless. They all complied when she said, "Everyone, listen." I hope you understand that you have immense power, and with that strength you have the choice to utilize them for the greater good. As for me, I'm willing to fight. I may not know most of you, but I do know that you have that power." she told them. Before she could do anything, however, a light shone on them.
Overhead, a drop ship from Novatron floated. The pilot warned them as they were caught in a force field, "By order of our Emperor, you Earthlings including Ben Tennyson are to be detained as prisoners of war. Failure to comply will lead to harsh consequences."
Star fired a magic blast at the field with her wand, but it didn't leave a single scratch. "Hey, let us out of here!" she yelled.
While Aang utilizes his earthbending to destroy the force field while June uses her magic bolt but no damage.
Rex attempted to cut his way through using his Buzzkill, but that effort also met with little success.
Both groups were now confined.
Now that all of the heroes had been taken prisoner by the Novatrons, it was time for new heroes to take the lead. Penn, Sashi, and Boone showed up close to the Sherman welcome sign and prepared to fight. Penn read, "Sherman, huh?". It seems reasonably normal.
Sashi gave him a shoulder tap. She referred to the fleet of spacecraft carrying alien warships as "Penn."
Her boyfriend's mouth dropped a "Oh." He said, "Well, can't say I've never witnessed an invasion before. He gave her the order, "Okay Sash, check the specs," and then said, "Man, I missed saying that."
And I miss doing it," Sashi said with a smile before taking a more somber tone because, in contrast to her earlier models, the newer ones could display even larger holograms, allowing them to see the Novatrons and other beings that would be their allies. These are the Novatrons, dimensional aliens that have invaded not only this Earth but several alternate Earths as well. The time masters sent them, along with Ben Tennyson, to stop them. Seeing him and these heroes as a threat, the Novatrons have captured them. One group in the city, and another group in the forest.
Penn speculated, a strategy already forming in his mind, "So it looks like we'll have to save them." He told them, "Okay, here's what we're gonna do. Sashi, Boone, you guys will save the group that's in the forest while I'll save the one in the city not far from here."
Boone questioned, "Are you sure you want to go alone?
Sashi expressed his concerns. Sashi, who didn't like the notion of her partner fighting alone, stated, "You might need some backup."
She feels Penn's comforting touch on her shoulder. He took her by the hand and said, "Don't worry, I'll be fine. First sign of things going south, I'll call you guys. Promise me you'll stay safe."
Sashi said as they both went in for a kiss. "Only if you do the same."
As the couple proceeded to make out, Boone whistled. They completed their task and then divided into groups as intended. Penn turned on the thrusters on his suit and took out for the city. The red-haired teen arrived there in no time and quickly searched the area for any indication of his target. His search couldn't have come at a better time as he soon discovered the heroes imprisoned in an impenetrable force field, with Novatron soldiers on the drop ship surrounding them and charged with keeping watch over their captives. He decided that using stealth was the best strategy, so he flew behind some automobiles and kept an eye on them there. When Penn decided to throw an empty Coke can across to the opposite side to attract one of the soldiers' attention, that soldier signaled to the other soldiers that he would investigate. When he was close enough, Penn pulled him aside with the help of the suit's boosted strength feature and placed a palm on its back to shock the system.
Penn flew in, grabbed the laser, and began shooting madly at them, killing roughly four. He pulled out his sword and hacked through their weapons before continuing to fire at the aliens while saying, "Hey there, mind if I cut in?"
The heroes who were being held captive looked at him in wonder and amazement. Adrien questioned, "Um, who's that?"
Jack shook his head, "I don't know." The time masters omitted to inform me of him.
Danny remarked, acknowledging that this red-haired ally had a respectable degree of combat skill, almost as if he'd done this before. "Whoever he is, I'm glad he's on our side. Look at him."
Penn could have kept fighting them all, but he required assistance. He pointed the stolen blaster at the field projector and fired, taking out the only object that could operate the force field, which caused it to vanish. He smiled jokingly and said, "Don't suppose you guys could help?"
"Pal, considering you helped free us, consider it our pleasure." Ben grinned. As he turned on the omntrix, He slammed down on the core and changed into a towering, humanoid extraterrestrial that resembled a grasshopper, saying, He is dressed in a green and black suit and possesses pale green, insect-like skin. The Omnitrix emblem can be found on the left side of his collar, and his knees and feet are joined to each other via a membrane.
"Crachhopper" Crashhopper yelled, "Now let's jump into action!" as he leaped to a Novatron's chest and pushed it back against a building's wall.
"Tikki! Spots On!"
"Plagg! Claws Out!
The two youths joined the battle after disguising themselves as their superhero personas. Cat Noir stretched out his staff to strike one in the back of the head, then used it as a pole vault to kick another as he fell. After returning the staff to its usual size, he deflected a shot that was being fired at him and used it to knock away the enemy's gun. His partner, Ladybug, kicked one upside the chin while performing a backflip and using her magical Yo-Yo to knock one out. Jenny took to the air and formed two arm cannons, which she fired at the drop ship, causing it to crash and explode. She then began firing more quickly at the soldiers on the ground, and the Ninja used his twin sai to entangle one of the soldiers' arms and flip him over his shoulder. With his sword at the ready, Jack attacked the aliens with the help of his newly discovered allies. As the bodies started to fall one by one, Penn guessed that this man would have been alright in Sashi's eyes because these monsters were no match for Jack's skill with the sword.
Kim used her grappling hook to ensnare an alien arm and forced it to shoot one of its allies before Ron sent a powerful punch to the gut and leaped to defeat the last of the ground forces. Danny frozen many of them in ice before telekinetically lifting cars and forcing them to crash into the aliens.
They were all taken care of after that.
"Nice work, everyone," Crashhopper stated before changing back into Ben and turning to face Penn. "Same to you, um..."
He shrugged, "Penn Zero, at your service." In case you're wondering, a group of celestial entities sent me here to assist.
Jack asked in amazement, "You as well?"
Penn gave a shrug. He subsequently got in touch with the others after saying, "They said that the fate of the multiverse was at stake and I figured what the heck." "I got my guys, Sashi, how about you?"
He heard Sashi respond, "We're looking at them right now."
The two other heroes split off from Penn and walked into the forest where they soon discovered the second party that had also been taken prisoner by the Novatrons. She screamed, "We're making our move...now!" as she activated her energy blades and sprang into action. Her surprise attack caught the Novatrons off guard. She missed putting the beat down on some bad guys and instead used her blades to rip apart their blasters and armor. Boone, who had been waiting till now, was exhorted, "Boone, come on! Let's crunch some skulls!"
Boone came to the realization, "Oh, you want me to attack too." "See, I just thought since I'm traditionally the wise man, I don't think I would, you know, provide that much help so-"
Sashi yelled, "Your suit has weapons, idiot!"
Boone tipped his hat. "Does it?" Novatron charged towards Boone, who let out a loud scream of horror and raised a hand in defense; a laser blast burst out of it and hit the alien. Novatron saw this as an opportunity to kill at least one of these intruders. He witnessed the outcome of his deeds as he opened his eyes, and he was in awe of his hand. He started to blast the aliens as well, saying, "Woah, awesome. I'm like laser Boone, hey that would be an awesome TV show, it would be like Boone Production."
As she battled, Sashi discovered that her new eyewear had a targeting system that made blasting these aliens much simpler. To her delight, she also quickly discovered that they also produced a focused violet beam. She continued her assault while grinning viciously, with no intention of holding back. Although the Novatrons didn't want to acknowledge it, they were truly scared of this human female. She tripped one over, grabbed his arm, and twisted it around, breaking the limb and causing the alien to scream out in pain, "Is that the best you chumps got!? My boyfriend can hit harder than that!"
Steven was shocked by Sashi's brutality, "Woah." "That girl's a hardcore."
Star nodded and said, "I know." Isn't it fantastic?
Sashi shot the projector with a blaster, taking out the field and liberating everyone else. Rex said with a smile as he constructed the BFS and, by ascending with the Sky Slider, used its saw ability to cut apart the drop ship. Each of the current Novatrons was fatally wounded when Ashi thrust her right arm forward and stabbed through their chests. She moved closer to the young girl now that they posed no threat.
She said to her fellow combatant, "I don't know who you are, but thanks."
Sashi put her hands on her hips and said, "No problem." She spoke to the commander of her and Boone, saying, "You're not so bad yourself." "PZ, the others are now free."
Great, Sash. Meet up with me and the others in the city, and we'll discuss our next course of action then.
Sashi looked at the others and said, "Got it, Babe." Let's clear up a few things first, then.
Zone struck his throne with his fist. He muttered with contempt at what he saw in front of him, "Pathetic!" There are individuals who have the gall to prevent the Novatrons from completing their duty, even after he shows them pity and allows these pathetic life forms, including Ben, a chance to turn themselves in and face justice. They gave him no other option, thus it is only fair to punish them if they want to maintain their fortitude. "General, Ben Tennyson and and his new allies have interfered with our mission. order the attack and inform all of our forces that it is now or never to make them pay!"
While patiently waiting for his buddies to join the other heroes he had rescued back in the city, Penn engaged in some light conversation with them. He was obviously astonished by some of their abilities, including those of the boy with the alien watch-like device on his wrist that allowed him to change into various aliens, the half-human, half-ghost teen, the ancient samurai warrior, the robot crime fighter, the two teenage spies, the ninja, and the two costumed heroes. Short version: I'm here because those two time masters, three gods, and an old buddy of mine indicated you required assistance in battling these Novatron.
Ben asked, looking amazed, "So you used to work as a dimension traveling hero?" "Dude, that really is cool."
Penn commented, "Not as cool as the alien watch." What's our plan of action then?
Jenny turned around and her optics widened as she saw what was about to happen as her sensors picked up something. She rubbed Ben's shoulder and asked, "Uh guys?" As they followed her example, they witnessed Novatron's ships start to approach the city from above.
Then everything went to hell. Unexpectedly, a significant portion of a structure was destroyed by the first shot from one of the ships. The tanks quickly arrived and destroyed the city's businesses and stores, while the ground forces shot madly at anything that wasn't one of their own kind.
Many times before, giant monsters had attacked Sherman, but this was the first time that the entire city was in danger and there was no Titan to save it. Residents screamed in terror as their beloved city was attacked. The police bravely attempted to defend the city, but due to the NOVATRON'S superior technology, it did not take long for them to tragically perish in the line of duty. The tanks pointed their guns towards the heroes and started to fire, but Danny set up an ecto field to shield them. Ben yelled, "Everyone get out of here!" as they all took cover and saw the ongoing onslaught.
Steven asked, "Let me get this straight, you two are dimension hopping heroes."
Marco sat down after receiving nods from each of them and sighed in frustration. I'm going to sit right here and wait till this blows over, okay? "No. I'm sorry, but no. I can't handle any of this anymore. Dimension travelers, alien invasions, me and Star are stuck here."
Steel remarked, "Wow, you get scared pretty easily don't you?"
Marco asked, not expecting an answer, "It's not that I'm scared, okay? It's just, look at the odds, what can we do against an army?"
Thereafter, Aang heard some explosions. The faint sounds of explosions, laser shoots, and screams were interrupted by the question, "Hold on, does anyone else hear that?" The city was being assaulted by a barrage of alien ships as everyone on the forest's edge emerged from the trees, saw smoke coming from the buildings, and heard screaming.
Jake gasped in terror, which was echoed by the others, "Oh man."
Sashi said with horror, "Penn's down there!" Boone, it's time to leave.
Wait your friend is over there that means, Steel remarked.
Rex, Zak, and Max all uttered the same phrase: "HUH BEN"S THERE TOO."
"Boone, we have to go," Sashi said.
Boone grinned and said, "Right behind you, Sash."
Marco gaped in disbelief at them. Are you guys really serious?
You don't think I'm terrified, Marco? I'm on the verge of passing out, but my best buddy is in that city, and I won't leave him hanging.
Star looked beseechingly at her crush. She warned him, "Marco, people could die. We can't just do nothing."
Again, he was powerless to reject that face. Marco pulled out his Dimensional daggers and sighed in defeat. "Let's just finish this up."
Steel and Max exchanged nods. "Go Turbo! Take flight!"
Manny spun his belt buckle as Jake yelled, "Dragon Up!" and changed into his dragon form.
El Tigre: "RAWR!"

Steven changed into his pink state form at that point.
Ashi was impressed by their decision to defend the city; perhaps they weren't as young as she had assumed. She remarked as wings sprouted from her back, El Tigre and Marco clung to both of her arms, Zak got into the Sky Slider with Rex, and she said, "Very well, anyone who can't fly, grab on to me." She questioned the Mewman princess, "Star?"
She called forth the living cloud known as Cloudy and climbed aboard, saying, "Oh don't worry, I got my own ride."
June said, "Cool, can I hope in"
As June stepped inside, Star remarked, "Sure, the more the merrier."
She said, "All right, let's go!" and they all took off flying to join the battle.
Well chapter 9 is done and now they will band together.
