The unsettling darkness within the room was only partially lit by a yellow light source from Koyuki's direction, shining onto the figure before her vision. Stunned at the sight of another face outside the tube she's trapped in, sure partially gasped in shock. Then cringed, in an instant, she smashed through the glass tube into pieces. Collapsing onto the cold concrete ground beneath, coughing out the yellow substance in her lungs in disgust. Spitting out the vile taste of chemicals and other substance, wretching in disgust. Panting and calming her breathing, her body becoming rigid at the boots before her vision. Snapping up to the person, azures narrowing at their smug smirk that's clearly directed towards her pitiful form. "Ah~ the young premature fetus has stepped into the world, yet incomplete." Sighing in discontent, even though they shook their head, oh so, sadly. "How disappointing." Glaring harshly at their playful, yet smug, words.
Many growled at this unknown person but kept watching, Lunalina is comforting eri and making sure she's not watching.
Koyuki swiped at them, only for the figure to leap back from the attack. She stood up, irked by the smug look they hold on their lips. 'i have to fight him myself, he has the same magical properties back at the underground entrance.' she thought.
"So this person is likely the 1 who created those magic ruins." Shinsho said.
Her hands freezing over, "why you--" a sudden sharp pain shot through her chest, as well as a tightening sensation on her face. Dark veins pulsed on her cheeks.
Everyone is horrified, "KOYUKI/DRAGNEEL!!!" Many shouted in worry.
"What have they done to her!?" Izuku's fist tightened, no one hurts his snow fairy! No one!
The man smirked darkly, wagging his fingers towards Dragneel. "Ah, ah, ah!" The man's curled lips revealed sharp fangs, almost menacing. "Don't wanna strain your new feet-- well, crippled, I'd say. You're not quite failed but neither a successful experiment either, how is it that it is expected?" There's a laughter in the voice, shakenley gazing up with heat in her eyes, glaring in annoyance. But bits of confusion was in her azures, he was muttering. "Lady sunny would be very disappointed at the results, although not much of a fail. But she wouldn't be fond, indeed." Exhaling out a chuckle, "haah... Bummer." Until their lips curled into a much diabolic grin. "Maybe the others would have faired better in this experiment..."
"This isn't good, ribbit." Tsuyu croaked.
Koyuki grabbed her chest, the twisting sensation burned in her chest. Trembling under the great influence of pain, her glare darkened menacingly. Worried thoughts on mirio.
Mirio was quiet and slowly feeling guilty for his counter part.
The pulsating dark roots on her face slowly calmed, which the pain ceased as well. She checked on herself and found her Nose bleeding black substance, she wiped it off behind her hand. But then freeze, 'this is my blood...'
Everyone either paled or felt very horrified at this.
"Amazing, isn't it." This made her snap out of her panic, "the demons roots can convert normal human blood into that of a demon." Keeping their dark grin as the silverette paled in horror, "imagine those affects or reactions on a quirk user, what are the outcomes?"
"Nothing good will result in demon blood." Ibara prayed.
"Chances it will mutate or kill quirk users." Recovery girl said frowning, mirajane has told her this happened to her once and her magic helped.
'this couldn't be anymore worse...!' Koyuki thought and thinking about Helio's plan.
"In honesty, that little girl intrigued lady sunny very much." They said.
A wave of anger course through Koyuki, her instincts telling her to save the youngling. Eri is shaking like a leaf until izuku took eri into his arms and glared at the screen, the audience also glared.
Azures dilated in terror, she imagined a small figure trembling under the glares of the dark guild. Quivering in fear and terror, "I wonder if I took her out of those fool's sight, will it please my lady in having a young specimen?" The youngest Dragneel's body trembled, bubbling rage building till her dilated orbs seemed to burn at the boiling till her dilated orbs seemed to burn at the boiling show of her rage. Becoming her reptilian slits when enraged, her magic began to repent with her anger. He almost giggled out in persistence to the enraged mage, "we are in need of different ages and power~".
Nezu saw it, he's toying Koyuki but for what!?
"Lay a hand on that child..." Unleashing a wrathful flow of her magic: both water and ice. Freezing her left with replicated scales of ice, while her right glossed over and reflected thrums of waters. She had a flashback of little asuka on the grand magic games and helped her brother protect her from flare, grinding her teeth. " And you'll regret it!"
The audience becomes protective of eri.
"Is that so?" Flicking both wrist and revealed rows of cards, "then let us gamble." Flipping them over and revealing everyone's faces: police officers, the heroes and the mafia members with 2 villains; toga and twice.
The audience were surprised by this, "the league of villains actually let Chisaki use those people!?" Aizawa said.
"Actually, shigaraki sent them to cause a little chaos." Joanne said.
The rogue wizard show his card, azazel. He pushed 2 cards up, eri and Izuku. "Everyone's lives as the chipping bet."
"Card magic but with a twist." Cana growled.
"How is it different from your magic?" Rei asked.
"My magical cards are unique, I can summon elements, use the basic magic, solid illusions and tarot reading. I was reading my cards every time we rest and they keep telling me Koyuki's true love is here." She held a cheeky grin.
"Cana's readings are mostly correct if their not tampered." Evergreen said.
"Pls don't remind me." She drank a barrel of wine.
"Hey! Joanne said go easy on the wine!" Stella scolded.
'Koyuki...' izuku thought while he and the rest of the remaining group rushed down the tunnels of the underground complex.
Kirishima notices deku's nervous frown and the worried gaze in his eyes, "you worried about Dragneel?"
"I can't help it..." Jaw clenching in utter concern and fear for Koyuki, "it's the same group that wants her dead, I... I can't help but worry." His dark green hair shadowing over his eyes.
Off screen izuku felt the same way, he really hated the dark guild Helios.
"What about the words ya preached?" Fatgum snapped the 2 heroes in training, they were behind him and he was looking at them. "Don't preach what you can't follow, you'll only go against her words, kiddo."
"He's right! Don't go back on your word and always have faith." Gildarts grins.
"Yeah! We're fairy tail! We don't give up!" Natsu exclaims.
"Aye!" Happy agrees with him.
"Sit down, flame brain!" Gray shouts.
"You wanna go, ice princess!?" Natsu butted heads.
"Like you can win."
"Enough!" Erza hits them.
"Ri-right!" Izuku peeped out in surprise, 'but still...' izuku has a flashback of Koyuki's tortured body and how katsuki held her close, her fight against val who was both torturing the poor girl. 'Koyuki, pls be ok!'
"A way back up." Sir nighteye said at the sight of the stairs.
"Yeah, the stairs." Fatgum voiced in agreement.
"Odd..." Eraserhead glanced behind him, he shift around. "Isn't it strange that we've seen nothing from the guy shifting the basement around?"
"I'm still on their case and have half of the members file, this must be the work of mimic or Joi Irinaka, his quirk: Mimicry. Allows him to transfer his consciousness into an object, gaining full control of it. There's a chance he is using trigger and hindering the rescue." Sir nighteye deducted.
Both izuku and Ejirou are astounded by this realization, red riot shifted his gaze around. "You're right, the halls aren't all twisty anymore." He said.
"That he's allowed us to come this far without interfering must mean that he doesn't have compete awareness or control of the basement." Deku theorized, "suneater and ishtar are back there, and the officers are above. Perhaps our villain is focusing his attention on them?"
"Is there a limit to how much he can monitor at once?" Rock lock questioned.
"This is just a theory, but I think he literally dove into the basement to control it. He hasn't become the facility itself. Rather, he's sneaking through the walls, watching and listening. So when he shifts things around to slow us down, there's a chance his real body is nearby. He must stick his real eyes or ears out to observe." Aizawa said then unexpectedly, the walls by him shot out at him in waves. The 2 heroes panicked, the raging walls seemed more like a strange claw about to plunge him into the abyss that suddenly opened.
"Knew it." Sir nighteye tsked.
Fatgum reacted faster, lunging and pushing the underground hero out of the enemy's clutches. "Eraser!"
"Fat!" Many voices cried out to the pudgy hero in panic.
Aizawa whipped his bindings at the hero in midair, attempting to also pull the hero out of the plugging walls clutches. "Thanks!"
"Don't mention it!" Flinging fatgum, and also red riot who also attempted to rescue his homeroom teacher from harms way, into the open hole and shutting it closed. The walls suddenly warped once again, "here it comes again! Does this guy ever let up?!" Their problems worsen when everything morphed out, such as the ceilings, the walls and the floors beneath warped. "He's trying to crush us to death! We're gonna get ground into hamburgers!"
"Please don't use that sort of phrase..." All might and pony said in unison.
"Rock lock." Sir nighteye ordered the hero besides him.
"Some leader you are, getting us into this mess!" The african-american looked miffed and rushed towards the warping wall, putting his palm on it. "You really screwed up here!" Turning his hand as if it were a key and locking something into place, "deadbolt!! Over here! He ain't shifting this part now!" He called out to the others to crowd into the boxed space, they obeyed swiftly and rushed into the space. Crowding inside, "and don't complain about the tight quarters, at maximum security level, my lock down can't cover too many spots at once. This is the limit of my range!" He froze at the sight of the warped concrete rushing their way, "he's coming from the spots I can't pin down! Watch out!"
"Oh? That is actually an interesting quirk." Macarov said.
"Imagine a type of magic similar to that, lock magic to hold someone in place, stop a motion in an area or lock a wizard's magic or personality of theirs." Mard said.
"Or key magic where you can unlock anything even a person's memory or potential." Lucy suggested.
"Sounds almost similar to ruin magic but focuses on the meaning." Freed said.
In an instant, Izuku's body pulsating green energy and swiftly struck the plugging walls into shattering pieces. Stunning the police at the student's quick prowess, "he's like some sort of whacked-out mole." 1 of the officers said.
Seeing this, rock lock clicked his tongue in frustration, "things would be going smoother if team fat was here! Eraser!"
"I know!" He responded back still searching around, he sweated nervously and looked irked. "We ain't making any headway, here! We just keep getting cornered."
"We can't exactly predict the precise plans of our opponents, the dark wizards don't seem to be part of my vision. It's like they avoided getting too involved despite they are very much involved." Sir nighteye grunted.
Rock lock sees Izuku's continuous attempts to keep back and destroy the walls from lunging at them, smashing into concrete. The greenette stood back and began to huff at the barrage of attacks the walls continuing to strike at them, "we're not getting anywhere!" He had a look of growing dread.
Deku thought about everyone involved in this raid, those outside, those inside with them, the hero wizards, and Koyuki. His emerald orbs hardened and narrowed with determination, "no way you're stopping us!!"
Even off screen Izuku has a look of determination.
Unexpectedly, the area around them suddenly receded back and leaving the area open. Both the officer and Izuku gazed around in surprise at the open space area, "it opened up...? Now what?" The officer asked.
"No, wait! This could be a trap!" Aizawa shouted.
"Wahhh!!" Rock lock cried out, evading the lightning speed concrete.
"Deku!" And in lightning speed, the greenette was whisked from his spot; and yet, thanks to Aizawa's quick thinking from being crushed under the warped walls wrath. Hearing more crashes and the earth beneath them shuttered at the disturbance irinaka inflicted in the tunnels.
Izuku's a bit shaken, "thanks..."
Eraserhead is crouched behind him, "don't mention it."
Emerald orbs roamed around their surroundings, "we got split up?"
The underground hero clicked his tongue in discontent, "not again..."
"Especially if Toga is there." Gran torino crossed his arms.
They could still here the others and it would seem rock lock is engaging with someone, then it became silent. "Rock! What's going on!?" He shouted.
"Eraser! Stand aside!" Izuku swiftly knock the wall separating them from rock lock, "rock lock!" He called out within the dust and smoke and surprisingly seeing the hero beside a replica of the man.
"That's got to be Toga, ribbit!" Tsuyu said.
The african-american hero shifted nervously and gaze at the 2, "this imposter just showed up and came at me, watch out. There could be more reinforcement somewhere!" They weren't aware of his eyes widening seeing Izuku, he left the fallen body's side and stood near the greenette. Aizawa investigated the body, "you ok, Midoriya?"
"Yeah! Let's hurry up and get chisaki--" he froze rigidly when the man suddenly grin with an open smile that send chills to him of danger, even more when the man pulled out a knife behind them and aimed to stab him from above. He let out a frightened cry which alerted aizawa, he use his quirk and to their shock, rock Lock's skin melted away in a pile of goop and revealed a grinning and flushed face. "Toga Himiko?!"
Seeing that expression on his face is very unsettling, "this is very disturbing even for me..." Shihai admitted.
"Kinda reminds me of those blood thirsty zeref crazed cultist." Levy shivers.
The girl is very excited, "Toga! Yes, it's me, Toga! You remembered! I'm so very glad to see you again!" She pulled her knife back and aimed to stab Izuku, "I could not be happier, Izuku-kun!! So, so thrilled!" Aizawa use his capture tape to bind her naked body and keep her away from his student.
Koyuki growled at this girl trying to harm her mate.
But she quickly snapped onto the bindings as leverage and pulled aizawa towards her, she stabbed him behind his shoulder and quickly leaped away. Rolling out of the bindings grasp and throwing away the bloody knife, "Sensei!!" Deku shouted in worry.
"I'm fine, stay back!" He assured and looked where the villain is running and clicked his tongue in frustration when the walls suddenly blocked their way to the deranged villain, "we need to stop rock Lock's bleeding, and get that knife. Toga uses blood, apparently."
"It's important to prioritize the injured, you all learn that from the licensing exam. Even if they are villains, you are the hero and must subdue and patch them up even if you dislike it."
Izuku is shaken from the encounter, flashback; back in the licensing exam, he met Ochako and she was acting different. She had a knife ready and she started to melt to Camie, flashback ends. 'she was there! The league of villains, what're they thinking!?' he thought in panic.
"Wait! That girl wink at Midoriya- I mean alternate Midoriya during the break! It was her the entire time!?" Sero regrets his counter part for the false gossip.
"What happened to the real girl?" Nezu asked.
"She caught sick the entire time, Toga got lucky and got enough blood to use during the license exam." Yuumi answered.
"But why was she there?" Vlad asked.
"To get Izuku's blood and she succeeded getting a drop." Joanne answered and everyone paled.
The hero and hero in training tensed upon hearing another scuttle, but it turns out sir nighteye handled it very well. Then there was a screech that filled the walls and the concrete beneath them warped around, becoming a swirling whirlpool. "I'M GONNA PULVARIZE EVERY LAST ONE OF YA!!!"
"Looks like their getting very impatient." Snipe said.
"Their mistake, when you get impatient, you become sloppy and unfocused. This is one of a villain's flaws." Ectoplasm explained.
"Use that as an advantage." Cementoss finished the lecture.
"A voice!" 1 of the officers shouted.
Aizawa snapped towards his student, "did you hear that?"
Izuku nodded in confirmation, 'that scream always comes with major movements, it must be Irinaka's voice!' he shifted his gaze around, 'it's hard to pin down all the echoing in here!' he leap away from the plunging concrete, evading each of their barrage attacks. Suddenly another intangible shrill filled the space, sounding almost animalistic in their blind rage. Snapping to where it came, Izuku shot off, bouncing from warped floorings and smashed the conveniently formed hole. Smashing the small space and creating a wider opening, revealing their hidden enemy from beneath the concrete.
"Good job deku!" Mirio cheers.
This gave eraserhead the chance to cease their problems this man caused, the man in the walls fell midair. "You twooooo--!!" He shrilled angrily, then a stamp zoomed his way and knocked into his side. Which was enough to knock him out, Izuku was able to catch him with his speed and zoomed off the falling debris to the awaiting heroes.
"It seemed he was simply used." Sir nighteye assumed, seeing the unconscious man.
"What do you mean sir?" Mirio asked.
"When blinded by rage, one does not think straight. Someone made him very angry he lost control of his quirk, easy for us to subdue him."
Erza thought the same thing, "almost similar to that guy back in the phantom guild." Elfman wondered.
"But what caused him to lose control? Was he getting impatient or desperate?" Lisanna asked.
"No, you have to assess what makes a person rages. It couldn't be patience since he was stalling and was ok being left behind." Mirajane wondered.
"Maybe someone pissed him off." Natsu said casually.
Everyone looked at him, "wow, that actually makes sense coming from you." Gray said and a fight broke out.
'the league of villains must have been the cause of his rage...' sir nighteye thought.
"Well holy cow, Natsu was actually right this time." Gajeel said surprised but it was also an insult to the fire salamander.
"Wow, sir nighteye was right! But why?" Hado asked.
"They did kill 1 of their members so Toga and Twice wanted a little revenge and Shigaraki was ok with that, he sent them their to not just assist Chisaki but mess their plans. Sort of assist the heroes in the last minute." Natasha explained.
"But now his labyrinth is finished." Sir nighteye said.
Izuku agreed with him, however the walls around them still remained strange and morphed in odd places. He had a look of worry, 'Eri... Senpai..' he flinched when the ground shook, many gasped and almost tripped. The strange thing about it is that the s-waves were very odd, the Earth shook once more and that's when he had a look of realization. Eyes gradually widening in awe, "Koyuki!?"
Everyone cheered, only one person is causing collateral damage! "I can't believe I'm actually happy about it." Cementoss said.
A familiar chill was in the air, Aizawa nodded to himself in exhaustion. "That girl... Always making it obvious." He smirked to himself looking relieved.
"You sure you don't have a soft spot for her aizawa?" Present Mic asked.
"I don't want to get scolded by daisy."
Sir nighteye pushed his lense back and looked to be holding back a smirk, "it would seem so..."
"Oh...?" Mirio glances his mentor.
"She has her moments." He held a fond smile.
Izuku's lips bloomed into a deeply relieved smile, emeralds seemed to glaze in relief. "Koyuki... Thank goodness..." Gazing out to the warped rubble, while the Earth shook slightly from each tremor. 'Koyuki... keep fighting and wait for me! This time... I'm coming to help you!'
The silverette blushes and felt touched by this.
Back on the surface, Ryukyu, the god slayers and tsuyu had to evade Ochako's knife. Gliding back, the amphibian quirk user huffed tiredly. The twins continued to deal with the masked wizard, she and hado are focusing on Uravity. They had to stop her from harming and killing the officers, Ryukyu and hado are busy with the giant man.
Ochako felt guilty, "they need to snap her out of it." Momo looked very worried.
"She's going to keep doing that like a puppet and I'm afraid they'll use her for their demon experiments." Iida said in worry.
