"Uh, what a day." Mr. Krabs groaned as he was given a ride home by Mike and Sulley, who said. "Just be lucky Silver didn't hurt you too much, Mr Krabs."
"Or steal your secret Krabby Patty formula." added Mike, whom Mr. Krabs frowned at, then sighed.
"Well, at least it won't escalate from…"
He stopped himself, taking a sniff, then asked. "You smell that?"
Sulley sniffed as well, replying. "I don't smell anything."
"Me neither." Mike added once he took a sniff too.
"I do." Mr. Krabs said as he sniffed some more. "And it has something to do with...THEM!"
He pointed at me, SpongeBob, and Patrick near my house, where I asked. "Us? What did we do?"
"I'll tell ya." Mr. Krabs said as he got out of Mike's car. "This nose of mine can smell anything mutinous up to 10,000 leagues."
"What you're saying, Mr. Krabs, is downright ridiculous." said SpongeBob. "All Patrick and I did was check on Nathan at Bowditch so the Captain could use a break."
"Is that all?" asked Mike.
"In the line of duty as...HALL MONI..." SpongeBob said before Mr. Krabs grabbed his mouth, saying. "Don't you shout it out loud again! This 'HALL MONITOR' business is gettin' on me nerves!"
"Evening, gents." a voice interrupted him.
We all turned to Silver getting out of his car.
"Well, look's who back on your nerves." Sulley said to Mr. Krabs, who asked Silver. "What are you doing here?"
"I asked him to come." Squidward explained as he got out of Silver's car. "Because you two need to talk this out."
"Talk what out?" asked Mr. Krabs.
We all went inside the house, going into the living room, where Silver plopped down on the couch.
"Hoo! Boy, this poor old leg's downright snarky since our little quarrel today, eh?" he chuckled.
Seeing that Mr. Krabs wasn't doing the same, Silver cleared his throat, getting to the point. "Look, Krabs, about what I was doing these past few days, I wasn't tryin' to compete with ya. But, let's be honest. What you're trying to promote to these tykes...well, they just ain't workin'!"
Mr. Krabs' cold frown softened as he heard that.
"I guess I was being a little competitive." he admitted.
"More like a lot." said Squidward, whom Mr. Krabs stared at with annoyance.
"But…" Silver went on. "Things can be less so if we put this debacle behind us and start fresh…as partners."
"Partners, you say?" repeated Mr. Krabs.
Silver chuckled heartily, then added. "You and I combine our restaurants together and there's an equal chance of success for both of us."
He held out his cyborg arm, which Mr. Krabs stared at, then to him, saying. "What you're saying is uncanny, Silver. But if your proposed partnership means more profitability…then, you've got yourself a deal!"
As they shook on it, Squidward said with relief. "Finally, we'll get some peace inside Foster City School again."
"Just as long as there aren't any more problems between now and Wednesday." I added, receiving a confused look from everyone in the room.
"What's happening on Wednesday?" asked Sulley.
Back at the Bach Park Plaza, Odette breathed in a sigh of relief once she entered the bakery.
"I trust you had another enjoyable day?" asked her father.
"Quite eventful, Papa." replied Odette. "Just like every other..."
She stopped herself upon seeing a long white box on the counter.
"What's that?" she asked.
"I don't know." said her father. "It just came a moment ago."
"Well, what's in there?'" asked Odette.
"Why don't you read this first?" her father suggested, handing her a note that came with the box. "It was sent out to you."
Odette looked at the note, which said. "Thought you might look presentable with what's in there."
She, then, removed the lid and gasped when she saw what was in the box.
